Dead beer, pale swampy bitterballen, grumpy service.

What a desappointment ! Thoroughly diluted alcohol drinks, "pure" vodka shooters also diluted, prices that change for no reason ... Not to mention, receipts that do not correspond to what we ordered!

Very nice place the best thing about this place is my man Nico best bartender and dancer you could ask for in that place the manager kills the vibe in the place a bit disappointing but everything else is absolutely amazing thanks Nico

Don't pre order a drink as you'll get cheap warm prosecco for champers

Waited over half an hour for scrambled eggs and a pancake, then was cold when arrived. Wouldn't recommend

To avoid ! Expensive drinks, diluted liquors (!!), unfriendly waiters, where those who voluntarily ignore customers, receipts which do not correspond to the order ...

The waitress listened what we are looking for and matched the best beers to our tastes. Especially in a sunny day you can spend hours watching people passing by while you are enjoying your drink.

Good for chilling out with a beer but the food takes forever to get there

We went here and sat on their terrace, after waiting for 15 minutes and still haven't seen a waiter at our table we went somewhere else.

He would have had at least four stars for the evening if he had not returned in the morning the staff changed and the wait drastically lowered the opinion ... Very expensive (but everything is very expensive here)

Horrible Service. We got Not the Things we ordered waittess was very unfriendly. Prices too high for the poor quality of food.

Super bad tent, ordering and getting the food took way too long. Then got the wrong dish, but nowhere to be found.

Most beers are out of stock.
But the music is almost good.

Restaurant with large terrace near the Rijksmuseum. Next to the Stadsschouwburg.

Outstanding service always with a smile and super friendly people happy to serve delicious drinks and help you in anyway possible :)
Even though Amsterdam has many places, once we visited Kooper we loved it and ended up our meetup place since its location is so close to everything we wished visiting

Saturday, February 16: service bad, not pleasant. Better to go elsewhere.

Good food but very bad service. Eaten with the two of us but got the dishes more than half an hour apart. They even came to ask if we wanted to pay before the 2nd dish was served. Ordering a second drink was also almost impossible, because the service remained "cozy" together. Next time, find another terrace on the cozy Leidseplein.

If I could give to this bar -5 stars I would. The prices are twice as much as what is written in the menu. The drinks are only juice without alcohol. As for that we had to pay +3 euros for the juice and it was nowhere referred. Very rude waitress. The rable was dirty and we asked for it to be cleaned 5 times. Just don t come here.

We went to this place for a beer, long wait despite it being empty. We manage to order and the waiter informs us that the price on the menu is wrong (i.e. the price is double what is written). Ok, I go inside to ask for the bill and pay and the bartender pretends not to understand and makes me two more beers that I explain to him not to want. To which he gets angry and threatening and rather ridiculous he says pay me 15 euros and slams the beers on the counter. We paid and left the two unsolicited beers there not to argue as we were also with our daughter. What can I say ... there are many nice clubs in this square in Amsterdam, we have chosen badly, don't make the same mistake!

We arrived at 7pm after we settled in. We learned that the kitchen was closed, the small lights in the center of the table that seemed so nice did not work and finally there was a cider out of stock. And the reception very average and no commercial gesture. To flee !!!

Sat here on the terrace yesterday.
Of the 5 tables that were occupied, 3 had complaints. Apple pie frozen, croquette not warm and our bread with herb butter was not there after half an hour.
Waitress would rather hang on the sofa than take care of the guests.

Perfect cafe to sit on the terrace for a long time without spending a euro. You just shouldn't be thirsty. You seem to be able to buy drinks there. Unfortunately we did not succeed.

What a typhus tent. Bad service. Taffes duration. And you are cast out for no reason. What a puke people

Ordered a Prosecco and it was flat (sent it back), it was flat again. The food was tasteless and they didn t have enough workers to help with the guests (understaffed).

Went in this bar with a couple friends and we have been served diluted alcohols... Come on, customers are not fools. All this is without mentionning the tremendous prices of drinks of course (and 0,50 euros for going to disgusting toilets). Just the most horrible bar have ever been in.

The music of the detonation that resonates in the store is very good.

Not only terible toilets, but they charge 50 cents for it as well. Drinks were decent to be honest

They don't have milk or English breakfast tea, and the waiters don't even know what types of tea they are serving.

Always good to find great service while enjoying a beer in the center!

I as a local like to sit on their terrace with the tourists, under their huge parasols. It feels intimate somehow. Beers are decent, especially the Belgium ones. But much too expensive.

Lovely place for casual meetings with friends and colleagues! :)

What an anti-social service, arrogant and not friendly .. don't go .. the place next to it is better

you're in Amsterdam, so, this is the time to try some Dutch food! there is a Dutch meal called stampot, and I was trying to find it somewhere, and this place helped me with that.
I like food and beer choice in this place, but sometimes there is not enough staff to quickly serve everybody, and you may expect to wait a bit

Horrible place.... will never return to this establishment . Showed up with a friend for a Couple drinks where we decided to sit out under the canopy. The waitress brought us the wrong beers after taking a very long time to even acknowledge us... because it got cold we decided to move inside where the experience got even worse. After grabbing a seat at a high table near the front door we noticed that the place wasn t very clean. I even sat on something sticky which ruined my pants. When asked if they could write off one of my two beers for the trouble (not my entire cheque just a 4 beer), he accused me of trying to scam him..... I was beside myself someone could actually be this rude. When going back and forth and getting absolutely nowhere I paid my bill and got ready to leave. I don t consider myself an overly rude person but I definitely let him know I wasn t impressed with his attitude. This is where the bartender chased me out the door and actually wanted to fight me. I laughed and walked away. Save your money don t come here. You can find much better. Amsterdam is full of other good bars l.

The bar is very nice for a weekend drink and to taste the "Leidseplein" atmosphere as its terras is directly on the square. Staff was very kind and energetic. Tourist prices but that goes for every place in the area so not a problem at all. They show football matches if any are on which is great for lovers of the game. Overall good experience

Very bad. Waited a long time for the drinks before facing a screaming manager. Choose value for money and avoid this place!

Ignorant and poor staff with no mind for service. We ordered food and waited about 45 minutes before asking and finding out that the kitchen was closed. No excuses followed. Not recommended!

In expectations but be careful to ask for the one on the menu

We had the idea to have a quick breakfast here, so we ordered fried eggs with cheese and coffee. The coffee arrived quickly within 10 minutes, but not together with the fried eggs. It took 45 minutes for the breakfast to arrive! Way too long! Also the waitress was quite unfriendly and not customer oriented.

I like this bar. Good service, friendly and good location.

The ministry was dramatically bad, with cancer scolding on the terrace, gossiping about other colleagues (that colleague had to be fired) and not knowing who ordered what, sometimes even wrong things were served. The wait lasted for a long time while the terrace was not full. Glasses were dirty, stuck and the straws were absolutely not clean. We will never come here again!
