Have used WF Hann, specifically, Keith, for probably close to 30 years for our heating and cooling needs. I cannot say enough good things about him. Conscientious, very knowledgeable, kind, sincere. He's the best!

Always punctual, friendly and courteous. Prices match quotes. They take care of my home in a respectful manner. Very happy with their service.

The service man arrived before the scheduled period and completed the check up very quickly.

WFHann answered my call after hours when our 24 year old furnace breathed its last breath. They were out the next day to assess our furnace, which we agreed was better off replaced than repaired due to the age of the furnace and the extent of the failures.

They sent out a sales rep who provided four options and I followed his recommendations. We agreed on the job and after being told it would not be installed until Monday, I shortly thereafter got a call back that it would be the next day. That was today. They were at my house a few minutes early and quickly and quietly finished the installation and removal of the old equipment. The only way I knew they were there was the tag on my furnace with WF Hann, and it now says Carrier instead of Rheem. The house quickly warmed up and I was very happy with everything, especially how neatly and expeditiously they completed the work at a fair price. Thank you.

Techs came out for regular service program ... needed some type of bearing for the furnace ($138.00 to install ) ... once installed couldn't get the furnace to kick on ... alas, the techs came upstairs and checked the batteries in the thermostat. Batteries were corroded . We are on the maintenance "Plan" for having someone out in the Spring and Fall (this was our fall check ... told that we were scheduled as soon as possible for fall service when we inquired .. Fall / January ??) We were told by the lead tech that checking batteries in the thermostat was not part of our maintenance agreement / his job ???
I really find it hard to believe that we pay several hundred dollars a year for this service, and checking the batteries in the thermostat is not part of the tech's duties upon inspection for maintenance.

We will call this company from now on. Furnace went out at 3am, made a few calls to some 24hr companies. Keith called right back, let me know the service call fee and when someone would be out. Prompt! 5 mins after he walked in let us k ow what the problem was and went to work. I still haven't heard from the other company and no one is answering their phone.

I was very satisfied with W.F. Hann &Sons. They came for my routine check-up and we're very thorough with checking out every part of my furnace and the filters. They arrived at the time that was scheduled and the technician was very polite. I am happy that I use them for my furnace and air conditioner and feel very confident that I chose them. He is working on optional quotes for furnace and air conditioning. They did a FANTASTIC job. On time and VERY professional! Highly recommended!!!

I'm very upset that gave W. F. Hann & Sons a try for an air conditioner leak and fill. I was charged a total of $801 for less than 3 hours of work, which is $267.00 per hour. I was charged $89.00 just to come out and diagnose, $250.00 to repair the leak, and $462.00 for 4 pounds of R410a. I thought the $89.00 would go toward the first hour, but they just add it on top of their other unpublished flat fee structure. The R410a retails for $5.00 per pound on Amazon. $462.00 just to fill the system with R410a is at least $200 above other local area rates. I think they ripped me off of an extra $300.00 above the local rates. It took a week for Dan the supervisor to get back to me after calling him immediately after the work was done, after leaving three voicemails over the week. I told him I thought the charges were excessive. He said their the normal national rates, and they have a lot of overhead. They never gave me an estimate of the cost before the work. When I tried to call W. F. Hann & Sons' sales people a week after the work was done, to ask their prices, they wouldn't give any hourly rates, or rates for anything. I think they get in the door and lock you in with $89.00 rate, then charge whatever they can get from you. I won't be using W. F. Hann & Sons ever again. I'll continue to shop around for a predictable and honorable HVAC company.

Impeccable customer service - I recently purchased a new furnace and A/C, and prior to every visit I received a phone call from the office giving approximate time of arrival, then a phone call directly from the person coming to the house with a closer estimate. Everyone was super helpful and as nice as can be through the entire process. These guys know how to treat their customers!

Our water heater started acting up. We called W.F. Hann as we are contract holders with them . They dispatched a plumber. He looked over the situation and we decided to get a new water heater. An estimate and an installation date was made for the next day. The installation went well with no setbacks. The plumbers were very courteous, professional and answered all our questions. We now have hot water, thank you very much W.F. Hann. They also check our furnace and air conditioning annually per the contract agreement. We have always been pleased with their service.

Four new filters listed for 3 AC units, with no explanation of which ones were used where.
The invoice had the wrong date of service.
I would appreciate a new invoice, detailing exactly what we should buy to be ready for the next inspection.

OK they did a good job repairing but the price seems awful expensive. I would recommend tiger air if cost is a concern. I do not feel $300 an hour is a fair price for labor. I gave them a try after previous Repairman Retired.

Very Unprofessional...didn't even have the courtesy to return a call after 5 hours of waiting/calling. My initial call was placed at 5:30pm..the answering service informed me an employee was notified and would return my call shortly...I made subsequent calls at 6:20pm.....6:45pm....7:30pm and finally at 9:52pm. For a 24 hour service it has very poor customer service. Even during a busy schedule someone should have the professionalism to return a call even if it's to state they would be unable to service my furnace. Very poor..unresponsive service. HIGHLY Dubious!

Best time to buy an AC unit is when you don t need it. But last summer I needed it and these guys were there for me. Had a great experience with them, use these guys for service or replacement.

Best experience with a plumber ever. Called around 8am to replace a shower diverter. Estimate was anytime between 1 and 4. I received the confirmation call around 12:30 and the plumber arrived within an hour as promised. The plumber, Josh, was very professional and explained things clearly. The old diverter was removed, pipe was replaced due to deterioration, and a new diverter was installed and sealed in about 30 minutes. Josh left the work area clean and removed the old part as well. I would highly recommend the company based on this experience and fair price.

W.F. Hann and Sons is a preferred HVAC provider for all of our design build/architectural projects at Harmoni Designs and Harmoni Build LLC. The service is exceptional from both a sales and technical standpoint. The workers are reliable and show up on time and leave a job site as they found it. They keep great records as well so it is easy to access information about our jobs. Harmoni highly recommends the company and their HVAC products/services.

We have used W.F. Hann for many years and have always been pleased with their service. We enroll in their service plan which entitles us to two check-ups per year (before summer and before winter). The company always gives us advance notice so that we can make appointments before the general public. There is always someone to answer the phone, so we don't have to deal with those endless menus or leaving a message.
Yesterday a serviceman came to check out the AC /furnace unit. He came on time and was very pleasant. He worked efficiently and changed the filter (an extra charge). They over charged my elderly neighbor and told her that basically everything needed replaced. Furnace was under warranty which they wouldnt honor. They quoted her $4600 to "FIX" her furnace (not replace). Smh. She got it fixed by another person for $250 and the part was under warranty. Shame on you WF Hann for taking advantage of senior citizens.

I maintain an annual maintenance contract for Heating, Air and Plumbing with WF Hann on both my primary resident and Investment Property. The company is very responsive, the technicians are professional and experienced. Work quality is outstanding. I highly recommend them.

When I bought my house I understood the risks of buying a home with old equipment but crossed my fingers I'd get a few more years out of them. Both my a/c and furnace were 25 years old but seemed to be working well when I moved in last year. My a/c was having trouble keeping up when the weather got really hot and I didn't want to put more money in it since it's so old... I ended up deciding to replace both pieces of equipment so I didn't have to worry about the furnace dying this winter. They were able to install both units in a single day, and I was blown away by the difference in just the look of the newer stuff versus the old! The salesman was very friendly and the installers were very considerate of my home, when they left you wouldn't have guessed they were there all day with how clean everything was too. My house is of course a lot more comfortable and I'm happy I won't have to worry anymore about that older equipment.

There is a reason W.F. Hann & Sons have been in business for over 100 years. They know how to wow their clients. My furnace went out last night right before the coldest day of the year and Domenic took my call and assured me everything was going to be okay. Tracy and Saul were incredible and had Nick come out to give me an assessment. Jim, our salesman, was fantastic and had a contract written up within an hour and scheduled for installation. Dan was phenomenal in his service as well as being their early! He worked all day with the support of Ian and Mike. This could have been a nightmare for us. Had a new furnance installed the same day I had a family emergency and had to leave town. I was very comfortable leaving Dan at my home to do the installation. When I returned home 5 days later, my new furnance was installed and Dan had left me a detailed note of all that I needed to know. He also installed a new carbon/smoke detector. Great experience, excellent customer service. Dan easliy deserves 6 stars!! Thank you!

I always get Frank to do our semi-annual WF Hann heating/cooling inspections and he is terrific. Efficient and honest. If he says something needs to be replaced, I know that it is on its 'last legs' (learned from not heeding his warnings in the past). Had a problem with a cooling unit the night before his scheduled visit and, luckily, he was on call and efficiently took care of the problem (saved us some time the next day). Good to have a service contract with them as it increases your priority on these emergency calls and gets you a discount on parts. Been a happy customer for many years.

Service performed was the annual maintenance on my home's AC. Technician arrived as scheduled and performed the necessary maintenance in a professional and timely manner and reviewed with me the work he performed. I was very satisfied with the service provided.

Have to post a new experience. WFHann sent an inexperience plumber to my older home, who used the wrong type of snake on my drain causing significant damage to my house. The plumber's first response to us saying "wait stop whatever you are doing is causing water to come pouring into my kitchen from the ceiling" was Oops - when I asked what he was going to do to fix it he said "I don't know" - never want a plumber to say I don't know or even OPPS. Clearly, I had no water issue before and the pipe the plumber pierced hS NO HOLE AS IT WAS a solid cast iron pipe. Dave the plumbing supervisor came out and instead of using a camera to see where the damage was cut a 4 ft hole in my kitchen ceiling causing even more damage and then said "we can't fix it and walked out". Spoke with Ms. Johnson WF Hann's president, she was going to investigate and get back to me by Friday May 22nd and let's just say I am still waiting... Must say I am more than disappointed as my family has had plumbing and heating contracts with them for more than 40 years. The directions for the motorized snake clearly STATES TO NOT USE ON HOMES OLDER THAN 50 years without first using a camera to ensure you know the pipes. NOT done-- STATES NOT TO HOLD IN ONE PLACE CONSISTENTLY - IF the MACHINE actually blew a fuse in my bathroom - that alone should have signaled this machine was not appropriate for use in my home. IF WF HANN sends out a plumber you need to ask if they are fully licensed and experienced. WF HANN always provided me comfort that whatever heating/cooling or plumbing issue, I
thought I was in good hands because they had top of the line experiened technicians that always knew what they were doing. It provided me peace of mind. I would provide zero stars if I could since after two weeks, no response.

The air conditioner hadn't been looked at in years. These guys did a great job and probably saved me lots of money and headache in the future!

I had a replacement furnace and A/C unit completed. The process from estimate, options, timing was done in a very professional manor. I was not pressured and I was consulted during the installation when changes to the plan were made. Fair price, and professional service all around.

Just had a new furnace, AC and water heater installed and was very pleased with the entire experience from initial consulting and proposals to installation. We received bids from two other providers, including the company that had serviced our home for 15 years, but WF Hann & Sons simply outperformed them all. Consultant was informative, not pushy and gave us a great price and product. Installation group was on-time and courteous. Very satisfied so far.

My wife and I have been using W.F. Hann for years (I use them for both my business, and another home I own, too). They always do a great job, and are easy to work with. Our home technician, Keith, is great, and has kept our old boiler in tip top shape for years. I definitely recommend them!

My daughter had a different company for her heating and cooling everytime they came for service they manage to find something wrong the price per service was high real high. They never suggested a new heat/ cooling in two years with them she spend over 3000.00 in service the last time they said it will be 2000.00 to fix it. She call W F Hann they suggested that it should replace. No complaints go job she has a Carrier now.

They came out on the same day that I had the emergency . The tech guy was courteous , and very detailed in his explanation of the problem . The issue was resolved . I was very impressed with WF Hann.

Absolutely the best. We recently purchased a new Carrier System and Hot Water Heater for our home from WF Hann. We had some requests that were going to be time consuming and costly such as venting the system directly outside and moving the location of the hot water heater. The company was cautious and made sure they had all of the equipment, pipes etc. before scheduling the job. The crew arrived on time first day of installation on time with all of the 'pieces' of the puzzle. The guys were well groomed, very professional and personable. You could tell that they were truly a 'team' working in sync with each other to get the job done. The installation took less than the two full days allotted and on inspection the work was installed by craftsman, not the usual 'gorilla' mentality we've encountered in our 13 years here from San Francisco. The basement and outside was cleaned up, in fact it was cleaner than when they arrived. Please do not hesitate to call them for any job you may be anticipating. You will not be dissapointed.

Our furnace lost power and others gave me a quote that was ridiculously high to fix. Keith was here in an hour and had it back up and running an hour later. Even called the next day to make sure it was still going good. Would highly recommend

Furnace went out during a freezing night. Called them in morning. A nice guy name Robert arrived same day within hours. Fixed issue in minutes. They carry carrier products so I wouldn't have to wait on parts either Robert informed me. Very knowledgeable and reasonably priced company. I will continue to patronize after my first encounter. We had serious sewer problems that W.F. Hann helped us solve. They cleared out our sewer line, replaced our sewer lines, and assisted us in finding a company to clean our basement after we had raw sewage in it .Throughout the process the company was helpful, available to us day and night and worked to schedule the work when it was convenient for us and help us finance the work . Shout out to Ben Levy who went out of his way to take care of us .

Dave was the plumber who came out for a plumbing inspection. He did a great job and was very thorough. He explained everything in easy to understand language and did not try to sell me on services I didn't need. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and new son-in-law moved to Cleveland Heights recently and we learned a few weeks later they have an AC unit issue. Through her home warranty, it was going to take a week to get someone out which in 90 degree weather, wasn't good. She found WF Hann on NextDoor and they sent someone out to help get them back up. The problem was diagnosed, and parts delivered by another employee while the first tech dismantled the blower assembly. They fixed the system within a couple of hours including delivering the parts.

As a father of a daughter who is now 500 miles away, I commend this company for getting their AC unit fixed when I can't just jump in my truck and go fix stuff for her now. This company also does plumbing and if that service is as good as their AC service, then I am comforted in knowing there is a company that can be depended on.

I just received my AC install the week of July 14th, and I am extremely satisfied with my new unit! The entire staff was friendly from the lady that made my appointment to the team that actually did the installation!
Barrett can out and explained in detail what was best for my home and did not try to force a more expensive unit. I received one price and it did not change after the install was complete. What I like most was that the install team introduced themselves to my Mom before the began working! I am now enjoying my Summer ...Thanx W.F. Hann!

Proactive inspections identify early problems or as in this case no problems! Good news.

We've used this company for plumbing, AC, heaters, sump pump issues, and in our former home, they serviced our boiler. We know and trust them! W F Hann has a wonderful staff of techs. They all know their specific trade well. Their office staff are helpful and professional. They have a system to let you know exactly when the tech will arrive and have always been on time.

I had them install air condition into my 100 year old house. They did a great job. Any issues that I had were resolved quickly. Their whole organization is very impressive and knowledgeable.

I have been a customer for years with this company and I have noticed some changes I didn't like. TheTechnician was ok but when I had my furnace inspected they wanted $70 for a water panel to be replaced. The same water panel I can find on Amazon for $20. Also when I had my AC inspected my black insolation got chewed up a bit by some critters and they charged me $270 for 3 feet of insolation. They also would clean the outdoor unit with a cleaning liquid and it would look good as new for years but now that is a cleaning charge now of over $200 I believe. I was beside myself. I was a long time customer but they have unfortunately turned into a company that I feel was overcharging me for things previously were included with the inspection. I am with a different company now and they are much more reasonable and professional.

It s worth looking into another quote if you are considering this company. We had an emergency service done. The tech came out and checked our unit. He did not formally give us a quote but he did mention in the price range of 2,000+. He even told us it may be worth just buying a new unit at this point, but he wasn t sure of the full damage. (After looking at it for roughly 30 minutes). We decided to have another quote by a different company. That quote came in at $900. He was able to tell us in minutes what was wrong via text images. We decided to go with them and they ended up fixing a BENT tube to the total of $500. Wf Hann did call us back after our emergency apt. But they still had no quote to provide us, and then acted like we wasted their time when we said we went with someone else. Maybe mad we didn t fall for their 2k, or a new unit line. It was a poor experience and one where I d just caution anyone to receive multiple quotes.

We recently had our furnace and air conditioning system replaced. Since we had used Hann and Sons for service of our existing system when we moved to the Cleveland area in 2011, we chose them to install the new system. This was in part due to the fair and honest service we had received. The crew that installed our new system were very professional, courteous, and answered any question that we had. Given the time of year/weather we requested that the air conditioning be set up first. They worked late the first date in order to accomplish that. Once completed they explained what work they had done, a general overview of the new system and any routine maintenance that would be needed. They also explained the new thermostat and performed the initial setup. We were very pleased with there work and would recommend W.F. Hann and Sons for both service and installation. We were also pleased with the sales process, which was not high pressure, but system options were clearly explained so that we could make an informed decision.

The technician was prompt. He explained clearly each step of his servicing of the HVAC units. He also checked the thermostat.

We having been using this company since we bought our new house a year ago. We are very satisfied with the professionalism of the staff and schedulers that make up the company. We have had both HVAC and plumbing work done to our older home and know that it was done to code, correctly and no short cuts were taken. The staff we have encountered (about 6 of them now) have all been professional, dependable, knowledgable and answered any questions we had to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to reccomned this business to anyone needing HVAC or plumbing work done. Also if you request the 8-10 am slot for a worker, he usually shows up at 7:45. That's nice!
