In late 2017 I was thinking of a career change from MS Excel / Access to Salesforce. At 56 I was sure if I should start fresh. My main point of contact is Christa, and I have to say, after dealing with many recruiters in a short amount of time this year, I am impressed by the responsiveness and transparency from not just her, but everyone I spoke with at CSS. They genuinely care about who you are as a person and potential employee, and take the time to understand you, your strengths, and your needs. If I am ever in need of a recruiter again in the future, this definitely will be the first call I make.
I recently was in the internal interview process for CSS at their Media location. It was the single worst interview experience I have ever had. I was put through 3 rounds of phone interviews over a 2 week period. Every single person I phone-screened with asked me the exact same questions, all admitted they hadn't reviewed my resume or got feedback from the previous interviewers. I finally got my in person interview. The branch manager had not even looked at my resume, nor got feedback from their internal recruiter, on site recruiter, and COO. The branch manager gave me about 25 minutes of his time, again asked me the exact question i previously answered, i answered them all the same as the previous 3.
I get an email about 3 hours later telling me they are going to pass on me, reason being my movement from positions. I have had 3 jobs since graduating college, had health issues and a family emergency forcing me to leave my previous 2 positions.
I give them 1 star solely because as a "recruiting and staffing firm" the first thing you look at is movement and the reason why. these reasons were not only detailed but more than transparent as required by law. My time was wasted, I was treated more as a mundane task than a potential candidate.
Furthermore when asking for feedback that I could actually use to improve myself I was told by an internal employee I know a completely different reason for disqualification that was 1. not true and 2. confirmed the last gentleman i interviewed with did not listen to my answers as he told this employee I told him I left my position because it was "too hard" i'm sorry but no one on an interview would ever say that, i most definitely did not.

you never followed up to "understand". I asked the internal recruiter twice for an actual legitimate reason. You only wanted to fix things when you got a bad review.
