Nice place. I actually was the buyer for the Light fixtures at the W. I enjoyed a night of salsa with D.J Fabian .

Everything was really great with the exception of valet not being very helpful when we checked in. A couple of items (glasses and such) were a little dusty in our room as well. The rest was wonderful, though. The employees were helpful and cooperative (with the previously stated as an exception) and the room was lovely. A perfect walk to the venue were saw a show at.

The room I'm staying in is very nice, it is comfortable, cozy and spacious. The Trace restaurant downstairs has amazing food and the decorations throughout the entire hotel are beautiful

Everyone was nice! It was a great trip and good impression, as this was the first time I was in Austin!

Possibly the best hotel in Austin. Great rooms, great gym, great location. Cannot recommend enough.

Comfortable suite with a modern and nice atmosphere. Bonus points for the Nespresso machine in the room.

Hotel bar is nice for night life, the rooms are modern, and the location is prime. The pool is very small but has a good crowd. The restaurant/pool manager Nick was extremely attentive. He went out of his way to get us chairs, drinks, and checked on us often. I must say he was the highlight of our stay!

Swanky cabana and pool area, walking distance to everything downtown

Love the outdoor pool deck (WET Deck)! Great to spend an afternoon with some music and margaritas.

Very nice hotel. Pretty entrance, attentive staff, very clean! Rooms are extremely nice, comfortable beds, great bathroom, plenty of towels and gorgeous view of the city!

Rooms are big for W standardsz and the staff are friendly.

Loved staying at W Austin. The room was very confortable and very well equipped. I particularly liked the small details such as the nespresso machine! The location is ideal both for work and for fun.

Very nice get away. Get a massage when you are here and ask for samantha. She was good and very nice.

Lovely stay. Liked the welcoming mats that told me good afternoon and good morning and good night. Those were awesome. Also the pool was pretty bad as. Will definetly be back

My room was large and the bed was so comfy. I had a beautiful view of the city and the river. All the employees were very nice and accommodating. Such a beautiful hotel.

Booked a cool corner suite with a balcony for our wedding night 3 months ago requesting early check in- they could not provide that (not their fault, if people are still in their rooms) so we checked in at the end of our night (around 1:30am) they said they upgraded our suite, which turned out to be a suite with 2 bedrooms and no balcony. Wanted the balcony, not the second bedroom. Called down and asked to be downgraded so we could have the balcony we wanted, but it wasn t available. Was told we should be happy about the upgrade. I asked to speak the manager, but apparently, I already was speaking to her.... boo. Not cool.

I go here pretty regularly, but not in the evenings. It has a nice lounge with a fireplace that s tucked away from the high traffic areas. It s nice to just sit back and relax with a laptop.

Very comfortable atmosphere. I do love the W, the pool is a better spot if you want to get involved in all the parties during the summer. It s a very happening spot.

They give a discount to locals in the spa area, so definitely take advantage of that.

The staff makes you feel welcome and honestly the valet are the best! I felt incredibly taken care of by the valet. They went out of their way to accommodate me. (Love my car so I'm extremely thankful).

Came here on a Sunday and it was a fun pool party! Felt like I was in Vegas. Lots of people in party mode here. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Great place for a holiday party! The staff was very accommodating, and food served for dinner was delicious.

So far so good for the W. I have really grown to like this place even though it is a little bit pricey. Good atmosphere and good service make up for the higher prices. It helps that the Moody Theater is upstairs as well. The hotel is pretty fantastic when it comes to accommodations downtown and their pool is awesome!

Ernie was AMAZING!! The customer service at this hotel was exceptional during my business stay. I had a bit of fire drill the night before an important meeting and Ernie did a great job in ensuring I was able to get everything I needed during my short stay. Definitely recommend staying here and hope you're lucky enough to be serviced by Ernie!

Nice hotel, but terrible pool.
I booked this very expensive room because of the pictures I saw of their beautiful, serene swimming pool. Unfortunately, the pool is unusable by hotel guests, as it was a scene from Spring Break. Loud music, young people screaming and shouting, drunk and boisterous. Nothing at all like the pictures they post on their website. I will not be going back again.

I love this place every single time! Great pool party, dj was killer, people were fabulous and fun and friendly!

Visited the W for a business event, the hosts were great. Kept the areas clean and well kept, drinks were flowing and the sliders were good, but the pork street tacos were better!

Beware: Horrible loud screeching noise from 3:30 am to 5 am Sunday night / Mon morning from construction site across street plus again 5 am -7 am tues night with heavy equipment humming loudly. From googling, doesn t look like they are allowed to do that at those hours even in a business zone per Austin city code. Management needs to complain to city on behalf of its high paying guests or else will never be enforced. two stars for the nice pool though.

Swanky, upscale hotel and residences located in the heart of downtown Austin

The hotel design is reason enough to stay there. The art and interior decor are excellent - fun and intriguing. The food was incredible, and the staff was awesome! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Amazing unique drink selection with a fancy yet casual lounge area. Bartender was hugely helpful and attentive.

Nice ambiance and trendy crowd. Very conveniently located. The pool scene is also bumping, especially on the weekends. Rooms are a bit small though, and the elevators are crammed.

Very nice, laid back bar area. Highly recommend this place to wind down the night.

A nicer w for the American locations and worth the stay. You could do worse in Austin than this place.

Beautiful place, awesome bartenders, great music and food

An upscale property located close enough to everything to be fun but far enough away from the chaos to be relaxing. The well appointed W is worth the money based on the service and atmosphere of their bar alone but the room serves as icing on the cake.

Great service and good location downtown. One of the better W's at which I've stayed. Gym is spacious and amazing...with Peloton bikes!

Dinner and drinks at the bar and it was a great experience.

Stylish and hip, this is a great hotel. The service is excellent and the bar area is very cool. Lots of great music and great staff and scenery. Drinks are a bit expensive but all were exceptional. Try an espresso Martini.

A pretty fun luxury hotel right in the heart of Austin. Nice restaurant, good bars.

Pool was overcrowded, it would be cool if they could expand the pool. The service was great. The night time music downstairs was awesome and enjoyable. I loved the cucumber lemon water, and the room was clean and comfortable! The carpet could use a cleaning in areas though. Overall, great stay - just a few suggestions.

Went for a drag after party in the bar/local area of the hotel. Love the look of the place, cool space, but the drinks are super pricey. I paid $16 for a craft cocktail for the event, and my friend paid $22 for a whiskey and water. Needless to say, we didn't get a buzz there. Lol

The hotel was nice service was mediocre and the prices were definitely for a 5-star hotel.....

The hotel is really nice. The pool is chill, a great spot to hang out. Our room was very clean and stylish, with a surprisingly large bathroom. The bed was comfortable, but I do wish the pillows were firmer, that is the only thing I'd change. The staff is very friendly and helpful, room service food was delicious.

I was underwhelmed by the W. The room was a good size but storage was lousy. The hotel seemed a bit worn out. hallway carpeting was dirty, the furniture was a bit scratched. The pool area, however, is beautiful and the W has a great gym.

We had some family coming into town and we recommended that they stay at the W and we definitely don t regret it was a great time the pool is awesome the kids loved it. The drinks are great my brother said the room service was awesome and he had overall good experience as well as we did what we were visiting him there.

Even if super expensive drinks aren't your thing, you owe it to yourself to check out the vinyl room at the new W Hotel Bar. With over 70,000 vinyls, it's pretty impressive. Unfortunately, it's just for looks, as one DJ explained to me, "All our playlists are on the computer, we don't spin any actual vinyl." Perception is reality. It still feels hip.

Try the cucumber jalapeno lemonade. It's delicious.

Location is great, but you're paying for luxury drinks.

Great music and drinks. The bar has very comfortable seating for a night out.

The W never disappoints. Staff was top notch and the room was sparkling clean.

Super swanky hotel close to everything. Wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the amenities.

Drinks are ridiculously expensive for 'happy hour'.
