The hotel is in a great location between Central Park, museums, theaters and 2 minutes from Times Square. The staff are lovely and the service efficient. On the upper floors, the rooms are relatively quiet and the noise from the street is muffled. So much for the positive. The rooms can be very small, it was the case with ours (like all rooms 03), 1 single bedside, tiny wardrobe insufficient even for one, in short we "camped" during our stay (suitcases open on the floor) . On the other hand, the shower rooms are spacious. Prefer rooms 02, larger and especially made for 2!
Finally, the food, average without being bad, is, as in the whole district, expensive. Breakfast at $ 25 with a simple buffet but not up to American standards outside of NYC. To eat or have breakfast, the reception advises you to leave the hotel. Count around 300 dollars per night in a double room.

The rooms are nice a spacious. Cleaner than most hotels I've stayed in. The tv are also more recent models with new connection ports. WiFi sucks and cell service is limited in the building. Front desk and doorman super friendly

$500 a night suite. Service is more par with Motel 6.
Requested early check-in and the room was not ready when we arrived. They took our contact info and said they would call when the room was available. They never called, we just showed back up and asked about it to be told it had been ready for over an hour.
Went over 30 hours (2 days 1 night) without anyone cleaning the room. Called when I got back to the room at midnight to complain and they sent up a man to change the sheets?
The refrigerator in the room does not work so now the food I have put in there is spoiled and smells.
There is no trash can or trash chute so this room is just piling with trash without janitorial services.
The room is very well decorated and decently sized, but the actual service provided by the hotel is a joke.

Friendly, helpful staff. Decent suite. Clean. Too bad the shower had gouges in the floor; presumably from the shower head getting dropped. Very decent pricing for midtown New York, and great location.

Business travel. Small room but comfortable bed and quiet. Small street entrance, I passed it twice. But it's directly across the street from the office. This is my new NY home away from home. No room service, no coffee maker in room. Be thee fairly warned.

This was my 3rd stay here and it seems like it has lost a bit of its boutique charm since my last visit, gone are the bathrobes for one. Still a great priced hotel with excellent location.

My husband and I just spent 6 fabulous days at this beautiful hotel. Jonathan and Patrick at the front desk along with the doorman are top notch. SO HELFUL! Housekeeping does a wonderful job at cleaning. Love the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. Fresh coffee, tea and BIG red apples in the morning, Fresh water with lemons or oranges in in the afternoon and evenings, it was so refreshing after being out in the all day. The only thing is that if there are 2 people in the room you only get 2 of each, hand towels, bath towels and wash clothes. If you are in NYC in the summer you will be taking 3 to 4 showers a day. Ceasar the houseman was very helpful and brought more towels whenever we request them. This hotel is very convenient to everything. Will definitely stay again the next time we visit NYC! A+ staff.

Great hotel. Friendly reception staff, rooms are trendy and modern, size is what you pay for. Can't fault the location, a 2 minute walk from Times Square but is away from the hustle and bustle which is nice.

The room was clean and cozy. The annoying part were the random charges and valet. A 75 dollar hold was placed on my card just incase I ordered room service-why not just charge me for room service when I order room service? Then after checking out, there were two random charges on my card for $6.68 and $81.68. The valet also left crumbs all over the seat of my car. Thought I'd stay here again, but not if I have to dispute charges after each stay. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

We lived here for several months, there s a leakage and it lasted for two months, and then it has no hot water for several times this week. Every time we ask them to solve the problem as we can not take showers in a hot summer and they will just let you know they will contact manager and we can only wait, then the problem is still not fixed and they don t work at night and weekend. I never seen a four star hotel could be like this, unbelievable.

Exceptional service at the front desk, extremely accommodating. Even after we had checked out they offered to hold our bags for the day while we continued our visit. The rooms were a bit small, but very clean and cozy. There's a bar/restaurant downstairs which is a bit pricy, but what isn't in NYC. Great place to stay!

The pictures on the website look very bright with beautiful views however when we arrived the room was so dark you could barely see. I was expecting a view overlooking the city but instead I got a brick wall. They didn't advertise the butter at all or maybe we couldn't find it because the lighting was so bad. We barely stayed in the hotel because it makes you wanna fall asleep. The only good thing about this hotel was the free weekend parking and the location near times square. Only stay here if you won't be spending a lot of time in your room.

Doesnt cost its money. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary and it was completely spoiled by the hotel, then overcharged us and ignored our requests not only throughout our stay and also after. Disappointed and will never be back or recommend it.

High marks for the friendly and professional staff. The room and bathroom was modern and clean upon arrival. Above all else, the location of the hotel was perfect for us. Close enough to everything, but far enough to avoid the chaos. We were perfectly placed within 2 blocks away from Time Square, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, the New York City Public Library and Grand Central!

Super friendly staff who were so helpful when my friend and I wanted to find out the best way to visit downtown. The rooms are a little bit dated but it is in a great location less than a five minute walk from Times Square and ten to fifteen minute walk to Central Park

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. On the first day of my stay, I noticed the hot water was not working in my room. After the hotel failed to fix the problem, they moved me to another room. However, they did not give me a key to the second room as their system was down. They assured me I'd have a key within a few hours, but the following morning, I still had no key. That afternoon, they moved me to a third room, but did not move any of my belongings to the third room. After waiting in my empty room for 45 minutes, they decided to move me back to the second room with no explanation for wasting my time.

It appears from the other reviews that the water issue is an ongoing problem. To top it off, the customer services was poor and staff was disinterested it trying to make it right. After talking with several people at the hotel, I was finally promised one night would be compensated, but I still have not received my credit. I will never stay here again.
