Stay away from this company. What they do is financial scam. You have two options $500+ equipment or $35 monthly payment. What they don t tell you is 45* 4 years =$2160. Originally agreed on $35 payment it went up with lie taxes +fees. And sales rep started ignoring my call once I proved her she gave me wrong information. Read contract especially small print area. I will be file complaint with state attorneys office please join me if anybody has similar situation.

And it looks like a lot of these positive reviews are from their employees. Or employee friends family.
Word pattern seems generic.

So bad experience with them , they was promised will give me batter rate but they are more expensive than my old company that I work with also their sale representative so bad they lie to you will give you better deal then they step off after and didn t take any responsibility on their words , let customer service take over and they don t want take any responsibility on their sales representatives , first they said try it for 90 days trying to get you in then they didn t keep their words , be careful everyone they will not do like what they was told you

I have used VMS for over 3 years. I get excellent service every time I call. When my machine broke, they helped me replace it. Whenever I need paper, they ship it out to me. One representitive in particular knows me by a first name basis and I love that I can call and talk directly to her if I need something. Great company. I was so lucky to find such a great Merchant Services Company to help my business grow. Good job guys!

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS YOU CAN, THEY WILL EVEN CHARGE YOU A CANCELLATION FEE. 5 stars for a Velocity Merchant Services phone rep...

5 stars for a Velocity Merchant Services phone rep named Dalilah. I had a possible scam incident at our massage business of a $10,000 tip for a $41 massage by a suspicious customer. I talked to 2 previous phone reps who passed the buck to security and then security passed the buck back to Velocity Merchant Services. When I talked to Dalilah at VMS, she did not pass the buck. I suspected a stolen credit card or debit card was used because the customer got angry over the phone when we did not process the $10,000 tip and hung up. I gave Dalilah the last four numbers of the credit card/debit card and she gave us assurances that the suspicious customer cannot access our account. Service Reps who do not pass the buck are high value employees and i hope VMS recognizes this.

I would have given no stars, but that is NOT an option! Definitely a rip off. I was told there was no contract ..... now they want to charge me $695 to cancel after 2+ years. They are a complete rip off and told me they have to mail me a copy of their contract and that it cannot emailed or faxed. Read all of the other reviews - very valid. They charge me almost $70 a month and I don't even use the thing!

I am unbelievably disappointed in the services rendered by VMS from start to finish. I was mislead from the beginning sales call and it has hurt my business tremendously. I am now paying a ridiculous fee to them, AND almost $2000 for a lease on the EBT device they also told me I could not obtain any other way. I spoke to more than one person associated with VMS and First Data when I began questioning their services, who first of all, tried to avoid me for 2 weeks. They all had something different to say while attempting to cover their tracks when they realized they were in fact screwing me over. FYI: THEIR DEVICE DOES NOT, I REPEAT DOES NOT, MAINTAIN/TRACK/MERGE WITH ANY OF YOUR INVENTORY. THE EBT DEVICE AND SERVICE, IS ALSO A FREE, I REPREAT FREE, SERVICE!!!! FREE TO GET AN ID NUMBER THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT, FREE TO ADD TO YOUR CLOVER DEVICE, AND A FREE SERVICE TO RUN EVERY TRANSACTION. Do not, DO NOT, use VMS for EBT services or equipment. DO NOT sign a lease with a First Data. I will have spent over $4000 when I am done with them, for a service that would have cost me ZERO DOLLARS, had they not lied to me from the beginning and then attempted to place band-aids to cover their mistakes.

Worst service ever.. They tell you that you wont have a contract when indeed you end up having one and you get screwed. The salesmen says he will help me and fix the problems then you never hear from him again. I got screwed through this company. I would never use it or recommend it to anyone!!

Is it possible to do a ZERO star rating??? THIS SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS! I tried to cancel my service (no longer using it and was told I had to wait until January to do that. (I was told by the rep who sold me the service that I could pause the service...and that was denied...I was told I could cancel at any time...which I couldnt. I was told it would be aprox $20 per month and it was 5 times that). Meanwhile I acrued monthly bills of over $100 per month for NOTHING. I called back in February and they said that I had missed my cancellation period and that i was AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED according to my contract for ANOTHER 2 YEARS and that there was nothing else I could do about it. UGG after 5 times calling in same responses... I am now paying 1 years of fees and cancellation for NOTHING. The total $3147.38 DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

When they called me they said No contract because i used my own credit card processing machine. when they faxed me the paper i had sign my name on is not included The **Terms** after 4years i found out i still on contract and payed $495 fee for early terminal fee. I'm so happy payed $495 fee get out of this company. Please, people when you sign on paper with this company tell them give you The ***Terms*** paper.

My timer has reached 2 hours on hold waiting for Someone to pick up. This isn t new to me. So I ve learned to call their 800 number on 2 phones in hopes to cut the hold time. That second timer has hit the 45 min mark. Tisk Tisk. I ve been trying to contact VMS for 2 days now. Still I wait.
Utilizing predatory tactics on new business owNers. Ive experience shady practices of omitting perteant information as a tool/tactic that VMS has mastered to solicit new business owners. The best advice I can give regarding this company is have an attorney look over the documentation before you sign. Rather don t even deal with them.
Personally. As a man, I d rather good customer services over low rates. All the card company s have good rates particularly when you show them what another company is offering. They all will drop your rates, but with customer service you can t just change that, and VMS has a systematic problem clearly.
I just want to walk away from this horrid* company.
Please mention my company in your prayers.

This one of the worst credit card processing companies out there. I was lied to by the reps, I didn't find out until after signed because I didn't get the complete contract until week later. Rep told me 2 year contract, in the contract it was 3 years.

I almost signed up for a Clover Flex with Matt Sim...

I almost signed up for a Clover Flex with Matt Simon. He seems like a really nice, genuine guy, he even tells you that he wants to be very thorough and explain everything. My original review was posted while still on the phone with him for some sort of promotion. I feel like a fool for giving my information and e-signing but I was trying to trust in this guy who told me he has three kids and he wants to be honest and help me save money...Call me gullible I suppose...

I print the paperwork so that I can actually read it and I see that I am going to have a "NON-CANCELABLE" lease for the term of 48 months to pay $49.99 "w/o taxes, late fees or other charges that may apply". This for a machine that I'm told costs $895 normally....

I also see that there is a restocking fee of $495. "IF MERCHANT HAS A CLOVER PRODUCT THE RESTOCKING FEE IS $1500!" Now on another page in this agreement there is an "Early Termination Fee of $495" which Matt told me and I asked again before I submitted the documents and he made the same statement telling me that fee would not be charged unless I cancelled and did not turn in the equipment.
I spoke to some Jonathon who is supposed to be a supervisor and tells me that the restocking fee applies if I want to send back the equipment the day after I receive it. He tries to confuse me in asking why wouldn't it work out?!? He also tells me that I can buy the equipment out-right for the $895 but that I wouldn't receive all the "FREE" perks that come with leasing the equipment?!?
Then I see various fees here and there, an annual tax handling fee, a portfolio manager fee, and so on. There's also a small section stating that they "may debit my bank account from time to time for amounts owed to them under the agreement."

All in all I believe I dodged a bullet. the other negative reviews seem to sound all too familiar. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I have been in business over 48 years and to be honest I am not that proficient with a computer and all the details it entails. We are setting up an on-line account and I want to express my extreme gratitude for Brian. He was extremely articulate in explaining the whole process with patience beyond belief. Courteous, helpful, understanding of my ignorance, and a delight to talk to. He stayed with me the entire time while explaining what I needed to do with the set up. I can't thank him and VMS enough for all the help they have given me through the years, especially this time.
