Absolutely appalling service. Will never return an...

Absolutely appalling service. Will never return and wouldn't recommend anyone here. I've been sold a car and completely have been mislead. I have been contacted the past 2 years to arrange a service, however not this year. When I went to get my car serviced they told me I am 4 days late and hence have voided my lifetime warranty. I had come in a week earlier to this discuss a coil pack issue with them and they had not notified me with any outstanding service issued. Now today I voided warantee and will have to pay an arm and leg and have rudely and turned away. Abismal, no care or consideration at all.

My wife and I recently bought a new Crossland X from Vauxhall Chingford Bristol Street. The car reviews were all justified, from the outset we got a very good impression and all the staff at Chingford branch were most professional, with great customer service. I dealt Jade Humber and immediately felt at ease and confident in her professional integrity and friendly nature. The purchasing process was very straight forward, Jade dealt with all aspect pertaining to the sale of my new car and she also provided a courtesy car for me. The car was prepared to our requirements with additional extras. We would definitely recommend Jade Humber and all the other staff at Vauxhall Chingford Bristol Street.

Met a very knowledgeable Sales Adviser, Rahman, who was very helpful with my purchase. He explained in details all obligations on both parties.
I couldn't be happier.

It's very frustrating that I have done my servicing for the past 6yrs with this dealer and after every servicing, you still have your inspection warning sign on. You then have to sacrifice another day and take the car back. All that they are interested is to sell stuff to you. They need to sort out the servicing department as it's outrageous.

The garage I spoke with insisted that I leave a review here as they are so disgusted by the practice.

Basically I had a new timing belt installed in my Vectra here not to long ago, and apparently is it standard practice to also change a water pump as the belt needs to come off in order to do so. As water pump failure is a common fault and 99% of the time gets changed with the timing belt.

Bristol Motors changed my timing belt but did not change water pump that has now failed.

"Very poor practice" I was told by a senior mechanic.

I would like to express my excitement on my new car by saying a massive thank you to Pertros. I literally could not have asked for a better sales advisor to help with the decision making of my new car. *QUICK BACKGROUND* I m 19 and was coming to the end of my first year of driving and decided I wanted to change my car I originally had the 07 plate corsa and thought maybe to get a Astra, long story short it was all successful until I went home and called my insurance to make the swap who had told me that they would not be able to insure this car as it was too big. This left me a little disappointed as I really wanted this car nevertheless I shared this news with Petrol and I can honestly say he made me feel so much better as he understood and listened and helped me find something EVEN BETTER. I ve went from supposing to leave with a 16 reg Astra to a 18 plate corsa!!! Once again thank you sooo much Petros, you really are great at what you do, I would 1000% recommend

I have just bought a Crossland X from this showroom and cannot recommend Jack and the team highly enough. From my initial visit to view cars, through the ordering and paperwork process to then picking up my car Jack was incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He kept in touch with updates on when my car was expected to be ready and on collection day couldn't have done more to ensure everything went smoothly. Huge thanks to Jack as well as Mehmet, Peter and Andy who all made an effort to assist and offer any future support and guidance if I need it. Finally, to top off an already positive experience, I absolutely love my new car so these are 5 well-deserved stars!

Very disappointing service.

Very disappointing service.
Had to order two new keys, paid by Amex, then return and have the keys programmed. After waiting 1 1/2 hours I was asked for the security code. Not being informed this was needed, I had to return home to retrieve and hastily told if I was not back within 20 minutes I would have to reschedule as they were very busy.
Thankfully I returned on time and waited another hour. Once the programming was completed I offered my Amex card to complete the transaction, only to be told they don't take Amex because they get charged. Adamant, I was then told I can't leave without paying the bill!
Fortunately I had another card on me that I was able to transfer money to and pay the bill.
Needless to say I won't be buying Vauxhall again!

Response: Scott, your sugar coated explanation does nothing to change my opinion of your company or your poorly trained staff.

Took my mum to pick up her Motability car. Andy has been dealing with the these vehicles for so many years, incredibly helpful and knows his stuff. This is the third Vauxhall we ve had as they make it so easy.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Terrible service.

Car was left unlocked and back door was left open for anyone to get in and have a good old rummage.

Worst still car had scratch, reported to reception. Didn't give a damn.

Receptionist replied saying they were not responsible for any damages/scratches. receptionist admitted car should have been left locked and secure.

Asked to speak to the manager, of course no one available!!! Not one manager in such a big place. Asked for manager to call me.

NO ONE BOTHERED.

Keep well away.

Well done Chingford, you just lost a customer.

My vehicle went in for a service and came out with scratches to the left hand side of the vehicle. After the admitting it was their responsibility to resolve what was damaged in their store some 6 months later the SMART repair was poor quality (orange peel damage with paint job). I subsequently had to wait a further 4 months until they took the vehicle is to repair the poor job they had undertaken.

The service is not consistent numerous calls left with different staff members and customer service department were never made a priority for store manager to resolve in a given period. Would be interested in knowing their SLA's.

Couldn t have asked for a more pleasant experienc...

Couldn t have asked for a more pleasant experience when taking my car for the dreaded yearly MOT & Service earlier today. Staff are attentive , profesional and most importantly Friendly. By 11am I had a video from the mechanic giving me an update on the health check which had been carried out. I ve never received this elsewhere so was extremely impressed when this came through!

Will definitely be returning shortly as my car is due an upgrade.

I initially booked with Vauxhall Basildon to fix a Vauxhall Ampera and had to pay for a cab home and back and then was told they couldn't fix it. Vauxhall customer service centre was very helpful and connected me to Bristol Motors. On the 12th December, I called to make sure it would be ready before Christmas. I was told on the phone that it would take around 2-3 business days to do the work. I brought my car on the 13th December after making an appointment and then got a phone call the same day to tell me the job was going to take now 2 weeks because of Christmas holidays.

I was then told the parts provider in Germany was on holiday until 6th January.

It's now 12th January. Still no car.
