One of the Best institution in India..nice campus,education and culture..

I came here for the Inter-Nit, first impression was nice but many basic facilities are not available in the hostels like water, the mess was also not nice.

Best NIT.. one of the best institution in this part of the world.. located on NH .. CONNECTIVITY is not an issue.. great place to learn.. campus is good but if it has more trees or fully grown trees, it would be great.. love to be here.. as an outsider, I feel it would be great to study here.. students are good.. They are helpful.. Pragyan is a annual fest here. Festember is also a fest.. Pragyan is one of the best in India.

One of the best national technical institutes in India (top 15). There is excellent student camaraderie and mediocre living facilities. Class sizes are too large, Reserach done isn't up to par for international standards and lab facilities are lacking but it has excellent placements. Admin is a bit slow and corrupt. However many other famous Indian institutes fare much worse. This institution shines mainly because of its exceptional cream of the crop students (and alumni).

Graduated from here in 1973. Received a solid education to be able to go to Princeton for a PhD in chemical engineering. Have visited a few times. Still one of the best institutions in the country, with highly dedicated faculty and admin. Facilities could be better.

All opportunities are available here to learn.superb institute.. politics needs to be removed..

I'm 2015 batch alumnus. Visited campus after 4 years. Good to see there is a continuous upgradation in infrastructure (Placement cell, Entrepreneurship cell, Incubation centre in collaboration with ISRO to name a few). Retaining No.1 position among NITs and one among top 10 engineering colleges in the country as per NIRF ranking is a testimony to students and faculty's strength.

Most disgusting place ever!!!
It feels like we were in a very lonely place.
It's dead from inside.The reason i gave it 1 star is because it has good mess food, other than that everything sucks.

The prestigious national technical institute, National Institute if Technology, Tiruchirapalli. Its located at about 17 kms from the Trichy city on Tanjore road. Its one of the best NITs of the nation.
It was established on 1963.
They offer B.tech in 9 branches and three departments of science such as Chemistry, department and mathematics also functioning here. they offer management, humanities and doctoral studies also.

Great experience to study here in the middle of the south. College is awesome in all aspects. Keep it up NITT.

Institute of national importance , established in 1960's. It is a autonomous institute and technically vibrant in Tamilnadu.

Not a promising place to pursue M.Sc Physics. Central Universities have better faculties to teach Physics. Also, very limited books in the library related to PG Physics.

A very nice campus to spend your four years of Bachelor's degree.The 800 acre campus is majorly occupied by bare lands. But, more and more infrastructures are growing in high paces.

Nit trichy group s--
The two very popular computing groups are the Delta Force and Spider. The Delta Force is an active group of developers and programmers who are responsible for the maintenance of the institute website and the development, administration and updation of most of the content on the institute intranet. The Spider group offers various services such as organizing various courses (c language,web designing etc.), blog hosting, providing short message services and now even the facility to check train reservation status

It's a National institution under a control of government of India. The campus was very clean and maintaining the eco friendly atmosphere.
