Van der Valk Avifauna Review

Excellent hotel, somewhat dated, but excellent service, great food and very customer friendly! Beautiful bird park!

Stayed here on Valentine's Day, hotel is less luxurious than other van der valk hotels where I spent the night. An example is that there is no hot tub in the rooms where this is the case in many other van der valk hotels. Furthermore, the food was really very good and there is little to complain about this night.

As always, everything is fine for each other. Nice location to stay.

Is getting more beautiful. Not very big, perhaps a day out for small children through the playground. For adults you are through it quickly.

Avifauna is a great hotel for a birthday dinner or a great excursion with the family because it also is a animal park

Food is very good, the service has time for the visitors despite the crowds. Food is more than adequate with the option to order.

We have done the boat trip with Captains Dinner and this was perfect! Avifauna visited beforehand, what belonged. Beautiful bird park. We had a great day!

Super nice park. Not too big. Good for young children. They can handle that well.

Sweet staff and good food. Too bad they don't have a vegetarian on the lunch menu, but omitting meat is an option.

What a great park. Everything neat and tidy and lots to see and experience. Entrance tickets are of a reasonable price and you have no parking costs, so completely TOP and highly recommended.

Had dinner in the large restaurant. Good food and allergies were well taken into account. It was very warm inside and it didn't smell particularly fresh with all the smells of the food mixed up. All in all a pleasant evening.

Low prices. Okay room, I found the room a bit smelly, but my girlfriend didn't notice a thing. Friendly personnel and you get lot of food for your money. The target audience seems to be elderly people. Location is right next to Avifauna so that's a huge plus. Especially if your room is next to the ostriches!

Filthy hotel, mold, puke, stains all over the room, even unfamiliar stains on their signboards. WC under the poop of the predecessors, curtain rails which is collapsing with 2 screws. When reporting this, you will be asked if it is necessary for a technician to come, as this must come from home. When that curtain comes to bed I lie in a peephole. The employee did not go any farther than know-how and paper to pass it on, because it would be stuck. In short for van der valk concepts, and the beautiful catalog with the images of a new hotel to be built in Amsterdam Zuidas, far away from the quality of this hotel, would certainly put another cleaning company in here. No chance hotel, this didn't make me happy. Certainly not for van der falcon concepts

Nice van der Valk hotel with very friendly staff. Vogelpark is also a very nice place to visit. There is also a possibility to make a round trip on the inland waterways in the area.

Nice hotel! I thought it was a shame that we had a room with two separate beds, this didn't sleep very well. But otherwise good staff who helped you kindly, advised you and did their best to make the stay enjoyable

Have been for a thank you evening, with a running buffet in the bird restaurant. The service of the drink was formidable. And very friendly staff.

Nice bar, not ordered a whole menu but a drink at the bar with friends. Good to do!

Nice bird park with bird show .. BIG playground for the kids with a vending machine hall .. parrot hall that can be fed there from your hand ... these fly loose here. Too many to mention! Will be a fun day out for you!

Nice trip with nice explanation. Only the catering industry is bad. You have to walk from bottom to top with a full tray. Little choice. White wine not drinkable and made of plastic.

The food was great, but not very special. The setting was very chic. With amazing waiters. But overall it could be a little better, such as a faster service.

Personally, I personally would not choose a second time for this stay, simply because of the different buildings, such as the restaurant (1) .. The reception (2) The bar and rooms (3) and live and cooking in the park restaurant (4 )

The breakfast was smaller compared to many other van der Valk, but that did not make it any less.

Everthing allright. But a bit outdated. Lack of sockets to charge mobile phones and stuff. On the other hand very well.

Hotel in Lodge Style, unfortunately has the best years already behind. Large rooms, unfortunately no air conditioning. Food in the restaurant was great and cheap.
