Very nice atmosphere, nice beds, delicious breakfast

Nice bird park and playground. Delicious eaten in the evening with live cooking. Lots of different types of meat fish and other delicious things.

Made the cruise. Beautiful views along the way. Great food and friendly staff.

Quiet spacious terrace, friendly staff, good food, normal prices

Amazing place for family going out. You can easily spend there 5-hours. The birds are very beautiful. The bird show is spectacular! The playground is huge, so you can take a breath while your kids are playing:)

Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. The family room was okay. Except that when you climb the stairs you will see a lot of dust in different places. Similarly on the bed downstairs. Furthermore, the bed had no headboard which was annoying because you have nothing to lean against, there is just a hole behind you. At 8 o'clock we were alarmed. And to top it off, I take a bite from my mini currant bun that was at breakfast. And there is just a stone in it. And no little one I still feel choose. No it was really disappointing. This is not what I am used to from a van der falcon hotel. Don't think we'll be back.

A special location in combination with Avifauna. 1 star less due to the use of narrow (+/- 1 meter) blankets by the hotel.

Nice and cozy family park and good to combine with e.g. lunch or dinner with your family or friends

I have not been in a room myself and have not stayed overnight but was at the restaurant. The snacks and drinks were definitely recommended

Interesting bird park. Great for a family visit. Birds and other animals seemed healthy. Restaurant closed for a wedding so only cafe food available that day which was a nuisance.

Nice even in winter. Just a pity that there is a lot of smoking.

This place is much improved since my first stay about two years ago. This is due to a major refurbishment that was on going when I visited. The rooms are really nice and modern now. The Breakfast was good with a wide selection buffet.

If you like birds then you will like the mornings when The aviary will be a delight. One thing is that the pool is not actually at the hotel but at a local leisure centre so beware.

Lots of special animals, nice design and well maintained. Restaurant also fine.

Breakfast is not so varied, but other meals are excellent and the food is delicious.

Fun for the children, but also nice that you can still walk around the park two hours after closing time.

You cannot play at your leisure here with continuous people watching you and waiting for your closet to be filled

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. The food was delicious

Very nice hotel. Clean and big rooms with fridge and a bathroom with bath and shower. The breakfast is very extensive such as scrambled eggs. There is a fully automatic coffee machine with all coffee specialties (milk coffee, cappuccino etz.) The equipment of the breakfast room loads with heavy comfortable chairs very much to stay.
Also the dinner is served there and is special. For the main course ice cream is a small side dish and for the whole table a plate with salad, fries, potatoes and vegetables, which can all parts and which is filled up for free. All in all a great stay. Also the bird park adjoining the hotel can be visited free of charge. There are macaws, nanu, and many more exotic animals

Very good rooms with nice view (if you are on the Avifauna side).
Beds are a bit hard but good enough to sleep.
Restaurant is good but if it is crowded, the staff gets easily overwhelmed by the numbers.
Depending on the room, you get free entrance to Avifauna.
