What a nice hotel. We had a nice room and bath in the bathroom.
Everything was clean except for cobweb.
What was really nice balcony with the room and view of the park.
Cozy cafe in hotel. Good atmosphere .
Enjoy breakfast on the terrace of a restaurant.
The breakfast was well taken care of. We can heartily recommend this hotel and restaurant, and certainly also the park.
I had read another revieuw and thought we would see. Well no stale rooms at all.
You can smell the bird park a bit, but I think the wind is right.
but yes that is normal if you are so close to it.

Beautiful park with lots to see and do. I particularly loved the wild bird show. The playground for kids caters for the very young and for older, more adventurous kids who may navigate their own boats, scale high towers and drive small electric cars.

Neat hotel. A bath in the room ... what a luxury! Mirror in the bathroom was not completely clean. It became painfully clear in a fogged mirror. That the catering industry is closed thanks to corona is simply the case. Nobody can do anything about that.

Nice park, as a resident of the municipality of Alphen nice discount. My children (4 & 5 years old) particularly like the playground. Atraction band costs 2. The kids can go wild!

Nice little hotel. Room just not quite as clean as you might expect. And the casino that comes with it is completely full of semi-professional gamblers. So you can forget a nice evening there. Furthermore, very much enjoyed so still 3 stars.

Wonderfully organized with beautiful birds. Especially early in the morning an experience because the birds are very active.

Room was fine. Nice decor. The only point is that it might be more convenient to also place a toilet on the ground floor in the family room. In short, had a lot of fun and did many nice things. Thank you Van der Valk Avifauna

They have a zoo!!! Just watch your kids when they can see lemurs anytime your stay. The hotel, breakfast is also alright.

The wait staff had some trouble the evening of visit. It took a long time before someone from the ministry and rule was able to take the order, and only after several times there was waved for attention. The order, only drinks and a cocktail board, was not that difficult. The cocktail board took quite a while. Only after asking did the order arrive. Not very thoughtful.

Nice to walk around among the birds was nicely renovated and looked better than before. Free parking was an advantage

Lovely, clean hotel, spacious and comfortable room. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very good restaurant in the hotel. Near the hotel there is a writer and other restaurants. But obviously the highlight is the Aviapone episode. Bird park, zoo with huge playground and amazing with lovely facilities for children. We spent all day with him and we did not exhaust. The park is beautiful and interesting. We really really enjoyed it.

The bird park next to hotel is amazing. Beautiful to walk around morning and night. Restaurant is great. Accommodation was very comfortable and very friendly staff.

On arrival used the sanitary facilities, because we went to Avifauna. The toilet was clean.

Greatly enjoyed the stay during the corona quarantine, better half an egg than an empty shell !!!

Dated hotel, could be more luxurious. Restaurant is separate from hotel, which is a bummer for me.

Delicious lunch here. Very varied food and excellent service and hospitality. And you can see how naturally the birds look.

Not what I expected from a falcon, I normally think a falcon hotel is good, but with this falcon they can really make some changes here and there.
The wait staff could not smile, took a long time before you got the attention when it was really not busy, a hot chocolate order and that was lukewarm, no cookie while the other one did. The food wasn't that great either, I had a chicken satay myself and it was dry and the fries were not tasty.

We had a delicious dinner, but the breakfast was not worthy of Van der Valk.

This complex is very spacious. Suitable for children. The rooms in the hotel are neat and clean and the menu has something for everyone, it is served buffet style. If the weather cooperates, it is of course even more interesting, as in the bird park is much to see.

For families / families of 5 people, the family / business room on the 2nd floor is recommended. What a nicely decorated room / apartment on the 2 floors below and above. Upstairs 1 large room for 3 people and a spacious bathroom. Downstairs a double bed, nice pantry and 2 seats. As a family you have enough privacy because of this fun attitude.

I visit the hotel frequently and I have never been disappointed with anything there

Near to the station. As Italian guy I can say that the restaurant is quite good.

You can have a delicious brunch there and also delicious food, and there is also the beautiful Vondelpark.
