Large national and international train station.

Large national and international train station.
Great building, partly historical, very spacious with numerous opportunities to buy food and drink. Ticket shop on the ground floor with separate terminals to print out pre-booked tickets.
Traveled with EastMidland Trains. It is advisable to book first class in advance. If you book about 2 months in advance it only costs a few pounds more. But then you have access to the First Class Lounge on platforms 1-4. There are a few refreshments and snacks to snack on. Toilet is also available. But be careful while Bank Holidays is closed. No first class service on the train either. You can get refreshments and snacks yourself free of charge. The station is completely handicapped accessible. Lifts available. Connection to the city with underground very well signposted. However, the lift situation for reaching the Platformem of the Northern Line is very bad.

One young man was just playing piano in the hall, his beautiful playing just helped me release my trip tense so well. The most welcoming experience in the transportation centres during our European trip.

Central station from where trains depart to Gatwick airport, many cities in the United Kingdom and even to Paris or Brussels.
It has a multitude of shops and restaurants, as well as several areas to sit comfortably waiting for the train.

This is a thank you to Maria who runs the AMT Coffee stand on the upper level of platforms from where the trains leave for Dover and beyond.
Although Maria was busy and I was frantically rushing to catch a train with two minutes to spare, she soothed my nerves, was professional, friendly and made me the best cappuccino I have drunk in years. She even took the care to run round from behind her stand and help as she could see my bag had been left open and my purse was about to drop out.
Well done St Pancras for employing this young woman - she's a treasure and should be cherished and suitably rewarded.

Mr Crane Thanks for your attitude!
I hope a lot of people can see that and congrats you.

This is a misleading address. I almost missed my train to Paris as the Eurostar station is at St Pancrass International - 10 min walk from this place. Google should correct this address immediately

A big train station but very chaotic and poorly organised, get there early or you'll miss your train. Security is identical to going through an airport apart from being able to take liquid through. The food on the other side of security isn't very good so get yourself to Marks and Spencer beforehand and get better food for a cheaper price.

Eurostar has a long way on becoming value for money. The newer modern trains help, but you still see things like: last minute seat & train changes, their online services are a bit dated, long queues while boarding.

Next to the King's Cross Station. The Eurostar station in London. The building is very huge. The glass ceiling let this station very bright and don't need to turn on too many lights. There are hotel in this station. Some restaurants and many store located here. There are two piano on the ground floor. Sometimes we can listen well music by some player. The underground station King's Cross St. Pancras is a huge station. There are many lines pass this station. There is a big building, connection system in this place. It's so convenient and we can feel there are lots of energy in this place. The security always stay in these places and make sure it's save.

It s an absolute toilet, they know how many people and trains would be here but they make it half the size with half the facilities they need on train-side. Even worse than Stansted or Luton airports, don t think I m train ing again, treated better by Ryanair and easyjet and that is saying something

Very smooth ride. Excellent customer service on the train at the snack shop and from the conductor. They even held the train 15 min because immigration was so slow in Brussels. The key is to book your tickets at least 3 weeks in advance. I got a child ticket and adult ticket for $198 total from London to Brussels. Show up 45 mins BEFORE the train is to depart. Trains had plenty of space in economy, free wifi and a plug for the UK adaptor.

In my opinion one of the better Stations in London. It s clean, modern and bright. I in particular love it at Christmas time when they have all their festive decorations up. Also a number of convenient shops located inside and outside around the station. You can tell its an old historical building but they have made it to look very attractive.

I spent at least 2 hours in this train station. It is amazing and so beautiful. There is a piano inside that anyone who wants to can play and it was so fun listening to people playing amazing music. It was magical which seems crazy for a "train station" There are shops, cafes, restaurants. Lots of history and many wonderful statutes. I honestly loved this place so much. If you're traveling through try to take a little time to appreciate this beautiful place. It was almost torn down and the statute of the man who initiated saving it is there. Bless him. It would have been a travesty to have that place gone. It is so fun now when I watch TV or see movies and am able to identify St. Pancras. I will never forget my time there.

Well, it's a train station ... so great if you like trains or need to get somewhere. Always clean and lots of shops, restaurants and a wonderful pub. Mixture of underground, overground (next door) and Eurostar so it does get very busy. Lots of walking so leave plenty of time to get to your train. Please Like helpful reviews

Really nice lower floor with lots of shops and free toilets. Good interchange between train/international train/tube. However, the top level where the national trains come in is absolutely freezing without said toilet facilities (or at least, if there are loos, they aren't obvious), however an iconic ceiling.

What a fascinating old building transformed into a practical transport hub. Connecting you by rail to Europe as well as other parts of UK. An underground, Kings Cross is adjoining it making travel through London a breeze. It has ample seating area and plenty of info board announcing departure and arrival just like an airport. Plenty of things to do too like shopping and restaurants while you wait for train. Going through immigration is a breeze as well. Friendly staff and service. It can be pretty crowded on peak times.

Probably the prettiest, best-organised and best-resourced station in London... though since Brexit began, it faces an uncertain future. Anyway, while it's still here, enjoy the huge variety of services on offer - including a bewildering array of delicious snacks, pastries, juices and coffee at Source Market, plus custom burgers, upscale cocktails, craft beer, italian food - even a champagne bar upstairs, and a wide range of shopping on the main concourse.

Eurostar's terminal occupies a large chunk of the building, and has its own separate concourse with security checks for people and luggage. It's easy to find and staff are helpful. But you *MUST* arrive at the check-in gate at least 30 minutes prior to departure, or you may be denied boarding. Also, security lines are frequently quite long at popular times or when trains to Disneyland Paris are boarding, so try to allow at least 1 hour. On the other side of security there's a spacious and comfortable waiting room, but not much in the way of food or shopping.

Underground services are easy to access, as is the rejuvenated King's Cross terminal across the road with even more things to potter round (Yes, including the Platform 9 3/4 shop, which managed to turn a kindly kid-friendly running gag by station staff into a serious cash enterprise).

One final tip: if you need to get out of the city for a bit of serious shopping or change to a Greater Anglia service, you can get a 5-minute Javelin express to Stratford International (Olympic Park) station.

The waiting area for international travel is not that good. The trash cans are overcrowded, the aisles are very narrow, and so far I have always had to sit on the dirty floor because there are too few seats. The passport control lines are also very long. You have to bring a lot of time with you. There are always a lot of staff to help you. There are workstations for laptops (crowded), toilets (in good condition), cafes (expensive), a kiosk and a currency exchange. You are called at very short notice, so you have to rush to the train.

The design of St Panrcas Platform A and B looks great, it is clean and modern, but not practical and lacks consideration of realistic situations.
1) There's often travellers who carry large luggages miss the sight of elevator available and end up taking the escalator causing chaos and accidents. There's no staff advising the travellers to take the lift.
2) Entering and exiting the station often results in unpleasant collision with people going to either Platform A or B because of the architecture/interior design. There is no useful guidance or design hint to direct the flows of passengers going up or down, left or right. In rush hour, it's a nightmare.
It is in need of a re-think and re-plan of this lower platform station.

The station is clean, organized, next to the cathedral and close to the metro. From this station there are several lines, one of them via the Eurostar to Paris. There are simple hotels next to this
