Eurostar London-Paris canceled 30 minutes before. 1 short announcement: "The Eurostar at 2:22 pm is canceled. There is no more space in the following ones, we cannot exchange your tickets at the station, you are invited to book by yourself for a departure on another day. " At the counter a Eurostar agent who asks the police to drive back travelers looking for information .... a bad dream. The dedicated Eurostar line to exchange the ticket does not respond and does not give waiting time. Finally saved by the good old Sncf number which answers and reserves 5 tickets for the next day. The next day total chaos in the queue, contradictory instructions from the staff, 1h30 of queue and forced to run at the end to get the train ... in short, big no matter what.

The staff was so unprofessional and RUDE to us from security to the passport agents. I was even smiling and friendly and they still looked at us like we were Inconveniencing them. We had never been out of the USA, we dont have international trains so we didnt know what to expect but don't bother asking because they were so rude to my family. If there was any other way to go I will definitely take it next time.

A beautiful modern station with its department stores, in the heart of a sublime architecture and history.
The train station is divided between international station, national station and subway hub.

Easily accessible from the four corners of London and central for tourists since in zone 1.
Very clean and secure .. this station is well above the French SNCF standards.
His twin French "Gare du Nord" seems to be a joke in bad taste, and well below on all criteria.

Taking a break before heading to your rental for your stay will not be stressful as in Paris, if you are just passing through.

Really good station. Easy to navigate, loads of shopping, really beautiful with a mix of modern and old. The tube station is great with loads of lines, and you can go straight to King's Cross if you want to. But if you are using Thameslink, don't go up to the usual platforms. Thameslink trains go from some special platforms that are underground, but there are signs showing you where to go.

Very modern and clean rail station in London. The process from the self-kiosk to boarding the trains is a very smooth one. Customs and border protection are very nice and helpful which is very uncommon.

The station of St. Pancras International is easily accessible and well signposted.
Skip-lines are set up according to train departure times, however, you must be sure to be ahead to cross the security and customs, the affluence is rather strong.
Overall the staff is nice.

I went for a Eurostar ride.
Since it is an international station, there are passport controls and baggage checks as well as the international airport.

I had to spend a night here in order to catch my Eurostar train to Paris at 4 am. There is only 1 toilet (1 cabin) available in the station during the night, lots of air flow, fortunately 2 coffee shops are opened 24/24h.

Great station, restored with consideration and taste. Plenty of high quality shopping options here, some people come here for the day. Outside in the local area and Coal Drops Yard, there are plenty of great bars, restaurants and shops. An amazing destination.

Great station but so easy to get lost. Amazing place but confusing on multi levels. Large shopping precinct and plenty of food outlets. National and international destinations. Eurostar and high speed trains to kent as well as trains to other destinations. Hotel above. A number of underground lines. Next door to King's Cross station.

I have been trying to book a trai and hoted deal today. I have spent one hour over the phone without any answer, the online chat does not worg and if you use Tweet you do not get any answer too. Even id the exuse id the industrial action in France, why not putting uo notices on the website informing that you do not accept booking? This is terrible customer service.

Arriving on Eurostar from France, St Pancras International Station is pure joy! Well organised and set up, clean and lavish! The timber floor in the arrivals hall is a fantastic example of the brilliant restoration work carried out at this fine Victorian station. The modern shops and facilities are spot on, with branded food shops and retail outlets. The station is well signposted to allow you to find and catch the tube and the outside of the station in it's magnificence is totally centrally located and it is easily accessed and disembarked from by black cabs, over line trains and buses!

Cool mix of old and modern.
Eurostar area is well managed and stress free. Check in, passport control and boarding ask excellent.
Shame the Paris side of this is not so

Good service and facilities most of the time. Delays and hiccups in train operation usually caused by the train companies not the station.

Only problem is that a the ticket machines are often broken and that doesn't help when the station is busy.

The first thing I look at while entering a station is the cleanliness: it definitely is the case with this Station. A nice variety of shops, cafe's and restaurants. You won't get bored if you need to wait there for your train.

We were denied boarding / checkin for our train to Brussels because we were at the checkin "only" 27 minutes before the trains departure.
Eurostar says 30 minutes is required - OK. We then queued to get our tickets changed - loads of people with the same problem, some said they were there 40 minutes before - still weren't allowed to board.
Eurostar finally charged 30 Pounds per person to get the next train - in our case 2 hours later. While we were waiting we saw the same story happen all over again for an Eurostar to Paris -
around 20 people who were in time for departure not allowed to board and queuing in front of the ticket office.

This would all be understandable if the 30 minutes were an actual requirement. However, passing through security and passport control two hours later
took us not more than 10 minutes, people were boarding the train up to 5 minutes before it left. We could have easily reached our earlier train. Eurostar's boarding policy and its enforcement at St. Pancras is thus clearly a ripoff. 60 Pounds and two hours wasted for pure bureaucracy. Not recommended.

A bit of a moan. Was getting the train to Nottingham this afternoon.
Many of the electronic notice boards only state EMR. They then leave a blank where the platform number should be. So i sat waiting for it to update ... but it didn t. Almost missed my train.

So please can you make it clearer for those of us who don t travel by train very much. Thanks

I took 2 trips (1 from London to Brussels and the other from Paris to London). The 1st trip was not as comfortable as expected, given the huge price I had to pay to travel. The wifi never worked throughout the journey and it was frustrating trying to get it to work. I had a table seat that was against the direction of the train so perhaps that was why it wasn t comfortable.
The cleanliness also wasn t the best, with crumbs around the seats which was quite disgusting.

2nd trip was far more enjoyable, and cleaner. The lounge at Gare Du Nord was nice and comfortable and the check in and immigration process far smoother. Overall it did what it was supposed to do, which is take you from point A to point B quickly.

Beautiful train station superbly renovated a few years ago, on your arrival in London you will be amazed by the beautiful roof dating from the Victorian era.
If you are traveling on Eurostar, do not forget to buy something to eat before the security checks because unfortunately you will not find anything extraordinary past these.

Really impressive and fast to move around train station. The building outside is beautiful and might be one of the most impressive buildings in London. The station inside is efficient and full of live. Taking the train from London to Paris is a short way to link two different cultures and places.

Appalling customer service - i have spent hours trying to speak to someone they really need to sort this out and also the the routes advertised but you are not able to book on line "London to Dusseldorf" you can only do this by phone but if you are unable to get someone to answer the phone you are unable to make the booking.

St. Pancras station fascinates at first sight with its stunning architecture. In addition to this aesthetics, it is an impressive place with the number of alternatives it creates inside. It is like a large shopping center with many eating and drinking spots, souvenir shops, bookstores and supermarkets. There is even Le Pain Quotidien inside, which many of us love.
On the other hand, Eurostar's London - Paris line, which passes under the English Channel, connects here. Worth a visit for its extraordinary architecture, if not for travel.

Really fast train service from St Pancras International to Stratford International using Southeastern trains - journey time only 6 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff and Stratford is a must to visit for a great shopping experience and generally looking around. Lovely location to visit but best off peak as can be busy.

Something that we wanted to do on our vacation to London a few years ago was to go to Paris via the bullet train. Unfortunately, we weren't able to, so this time around we made it a point to do it.

It's pricey, but still cheaper (and more convenient) then flying to Paris and back. We purchased the nonrefundable fares as a backup in the event our plans would change. What's great is that we were able to pick out our seats with power-ports on them (cars 5 and 16 have them). Since we were going to be relying on our phones to get around Paris, this was a huge plus to make sure we had a full charge getting there and enough to get us home.

Getting to and through London St. Pancras station was easy and the staff was very friendly. Once you clear security, there's a large nice waiting area with some food and shopping options.

Boarding the train was simple and quick, each train car is labeled on the ground. The trains were clean and rather spacious (better than being in an airplane). The unfortunate part is that there was no way of telling which way the seats would be facing, so I took a gamble and lost as we were facing backwards, but it really didn't matter.

The train left right on the dot and we were on our way. The seats were comfortable, but it was getting hot in the train, sometimes the air would come through but it was borderline uncomfortable at times. The lavatories were decent, but of course you get typical slobs that just leave it in dirty conditions. There is also a food car, where you can buy food, drinks, snacks and tickets for attractions.

The credit card terminal that they use accepts non-chip and pins cards BUT for security purposes, transactions are only allowed up to $50. Make sure you have cash or a chip and pin card if you plan on spending more than $50.

Other than that, the staff was very friendly the entire time and we had a pleasant experience. Definitely plan on using them again sometime in the future.
