We went with Make-a-wish and we cant explain how awesome the staff, parks and experience was. Ten times better than disney and all of our children are under 7! Universal, thanks for all you did! Amazing park and staff!

Lockers were required for almost every ride. The seats on most rides were not accommodating to heavy set people (Universal's Islands of Adventure were much better) and I couldn't ride the Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster because I was too big (290 lbs). Many others couldn't ride as well but they gave us express passes to make it less of a bummer.

I love this park. Great family vacation. Wish they had longer hours throughout the week so i could accomplish more. Thank you Universal for the wonderful job you are doing fighting Covid 19. They were constantly cleaning, forcing hand sanitation and inforcing social distancing. I felt safe while enjoying my day.

I went to the park to do a simple upgrade to my annual passes, which took me a total of 3 hours. After giving me a price for the upgrade and completing the transaction for my husband and myself for the Premier Annual Pass, the manager would not honor the price for my 3 young children's premier annual passes. The difference in price was over $130/child. They claimed they made a mistake and the associates weren't "properly trained". The price was given to me at 2 different guest relations desks (City Walk and Islands of Adventure) and also over the phone with guest relations, and they still would not honor it for me; Keep in mind, I dealt with multiple managers. The solution they gave me was to pay all 3 kids passes off in full and they would be willing to help. How convenient.

I've never had an experience like this at Disney, that's for sure!

I will say that the folks I had interactions with were phenomenal! We ate at Bob Marley's and Josh and the staff there were very nice. I will say I was disappointed to see folks were not wearing mask once sitting at tables even though not eating or drinking. Next we came across the Leaky Cauldron thanks to security fella Michael whom lead the way just being a pleasure. Once inside, Kenneth and Daniela were truly amazing and friendly. I gave low score because I do feel that the overall sanitizing doesn't feel like it's happening. I feel that there are too many folks allowed in even though it is very upsetting that an annual pass premier pass holder can't get in. Maybe put something out to pass holders to "reserve" a slot instead of them being turned away.

Most of the rides are worth doing it. Kids had fun in minion, transformers. Shrek was okay but less wait time. Universal pass is not that fast, it s around 40-50% of the normal wait time. Minion is super busy, do early morning or late night. Harry Potter is always busy with 1-2 hours of wait time. Parking is easy and covered.

Great place for the family, but I don't like that on top of paying for parking as well as 200 per person for the day to get into both parks. They also want you for fork over another 85 dollars per person in your family for a Express pass to skip long lines. The restaurants on city walk are great. But the ones inside the parks are lacking.

Fun for everyone, lots of places to eat and the did quality/selection has gotten better over the years. The new Harry Potter rides are fun but the wait times not so much 3+ hours in some cases. The train ride is a memory maker for sure. I did find that the express pass option was a huge waste of money as most of not all of the newer rides do not accept them. Plan on spending $150ish per day for two on snacks and locker rental for larger bags.

I love that the last half of the wait for most rides was covered or indoors with related decor to enjoy and even a water fountain along the way. It definitely improves the wait.
Hagrid's may be the best ride I've ever been on.

A fun place for the family. However, there is much room for improvement. Rides get delayed often (especially the rollercoasters), temp staff could be more helpful and the app has a few bugs. I would suggest coming in the Autumn to get fully immersed in the Harry Potter experience. Make sure your backpack is small enough to fit in the free lockers or you will be paying 2$ for almost every ride.

Loved universal just a bit disappointing when you have travelled half way round the world for specific ride to find it was closed 3/4 of the day for private video recording of some sort to be undertaken. However there was nothing on the website either to allow you to plan your time around it.

WOW WOW WOW Universal is by far the best theampark I have ever visited by far. It has something for everyone and best of all for most of the rides you don't have to queue for hours (apart from Hagrid's ride). You will be hard pressed not to fall in love this place.

This place was absolutely crazy compared to disney the last time we went there. I ve never seen such crowds at Disney before! It was a bit hectic for this reason. Wait times for rides were awful. But we did get a lot in during each day. I wish there were more rides for smaller kids. Since the last time I d been this place has expanded insanely! And they are still expanding more! There s a ton to do and see and the restaurants and snack spots are all tasty, prices are high as to be expected. But it s a very well kept, and relevant place to go for entertainment!

Great place. Great atmosphere. Wonderful helpful staff. There are many rides and shows. Easily you can soon one full day. If you like the rides, it is highly recommended to have the Express pass, if you want to ride the same rides it is highly recommended the unlimited Express pass. The best rides are the rock it, the mummy, the Harry Potter. Transformer, fast and furious, and Simpson's are fine.

Great attractions. Much Better than Magic Kingdom and Epcott if you have older children. Fast Pass is ridiculously priced at these parks but how long do you really want to stand in line. That is the question. It's between 1 and 2 hours per ride down to 30 to 15 minutes. We went during high season where it was shoulder to shoulder just to walk through the Hearty Potter attraction. Good time though!

Great. We loved it why more then Disney. Has a lot areas for the little ones. You can do all the ride in the two parks in a day maybe make a few shows. If you to catch everything I would say 2 days. If you want to do the water park I would say 3 days. You don't really need more then that. It's not as big as Disney, but I still found it way better.

I went to universal for the second time this year, on a friday, saturday, and sunday, on the weekend the wait times went up to the point the parks closed due to capacity, many rides therefore switched over to virtual lines. The rides were great but my one complaint would be is that hagrids (over at islands of adventure) has a very restricting ride to the point where it was uncomfortable, Hagrid would not even be able to ride it. Very crowded on the week ends.

I honestly can t say enough good things about this park. Actually both parks. We never felt crowded, it is remarkable how well they are able to keep the social distancing but make it feel as normal as possible. The parks were so clean and everyone was there to help make the day better. Great job Universal franchise. Such an enjoyable day!

Best day this year so far! We went yesterday, 9/6/...

Best day this year so far! We went yesterday, 9/6/2020. I took my 14 year old son, 6 year old daughter, and 3 year old son. This was their first time. We all had an equally great time. My little guy even got to ride 10 rides which I didn t think was possible at Universal Studios, and loved every one especially Harry Potter. All my kids in unison said it s way better than Disney! Posted wait times were overstated. We never waited for any ride for more than 25 minutes and it goes by so fast. One of my concerns was that we would not be able to ride the Harry Potter ride which was part of the Virtual Line rides, and we didn t have express passes. I kept checking throughout the day for times to return to no avail. I already gave up on riding it, and was really disappointed, and we were getting ready to leave when they opened up the stand by queue!!! I was SO HAPPY even though the wait was close to 2 hours long. I didn t care. I was sure it was worth it. However we didn t have to wait even 5 minutes because we were one of the lucky few that got pulled out of the line by a Harry Potter angel named MIRANDA and taken right up to the ride by a secret passage with an elevator, and when we got to the boarding area we were the first and only ones there and at my daughters request got to ride in the first row! I cannot in words describe the gratitude I felt and actually cried after we got off the ride because I was so touched by Miranda s actions and her interactions with my kids. She said she s taking us a secret way because my 3 year old had the cutest mask on and kept it on the whole time with no complaints. I will forever be grateful for this experience that not only made my whole day, but our whole trip! Because of this we still had time to ride the minions ride and shop at gift shops. The only reason for 4 stars is because our dining experience was less than perfect. We got to the Krusty Burger at 2pm and did not get our food until 3:43pm. And that was after sitting down at our assigned table with a number for over 20 minutes, at which point I had to ask an associate more than once to please check on our order which was placed over and hour ago. With 2 young kids that act like they haven t eaten in months, while watching everyone around them eat, it was not a pleasant and relaxing lunch that I anticipated. And upon arriving at Krusty Burger, first thing we did was use the Universal FL mobile app to place our order, however, it did not seem to make a difference. Other than, 5 stars all the way!! I am now seriously considering season passes as we live in Palm Beach County and I can totally see coming here at least once a month, and definitely for special events.

My honeybun works for Comcast and he left his work phone with the email confirmation for our tickets in Atlanta, GA where we're from. After being told by a couple of employees that there was nothing they could do, an angel by the name Dana approached us and asked if she could help. After a few moments, she printed out our tickets and told us not to worry and to have an amazing day. It was Halloween and because of her, we did exactly that! An awesome day full of wonderful memories is what we left with. We can't wait to come back next year. HUGE thanks to Dana! Oh, and Loews Royal Pacific was the jam, we will most definitely patronize again, happily!

I visited Universal Studios Florida during the last week of August for my birthday! I had such a great time, it was definitely worth it to buy the tickets for both parks! I m a huge Harry Potter fan and riding the Hogwarts Express between parks was really great. It was also after the peak of tourist season was over so the park was very easy to get through and we got on nearly every ride we wanted! So much fun! Hope to go back again maybe during the cooler months of the year there though cause of course as someone not accustomed to high humidity, air conditioning in the rides was my best friend!

I have not visited Universal Studios in maybe, 10 years. I had never seen the new attractions because I only went to Halloween Horror Nights.
Well, I had the best time ever!! The Harry Potter attraction is worth it all. The rides made me and my best friend laugh so hard that I do believe I will be purchasing an annual pass now that I have someone to go with!
Walking around and looking at all of the buildings and walking thru all of them made me want to watch the movies all over again!
They also have a Dr. Suess themed area that I can not wait to take my granddaughters to. There's entertainment for every age group and if you don't feel young going into the park, you will when you walk out!
If you are purchasing tickets, make sure you purchase for Islands of adventure as well.

It was an amazing adventure and I am looking forward to many more visits!

This place is pretty great but compared to Disney, which is only a couple minutes away, it doesn t hold up. To begin, I must say that this place has many cool rides and lots of good food and merchandise. The themes and buildings are really cool. Sadly when I visited this place I had 3 rides come to stop with me in them. One of them stopped twice! Most of the stops lasted 5 mins+. On top of this the single rider lines were almost constantly closed. The baby swap program they do requires you to maneuver a stroller through tight spaces all the way to the front unlike Disney which allows you to do it at the beginning. The express pass is extremely expensive unlike Disney s which is free to all guests. There are just too many things that I feel Disney does way better than universal. That being said, their butter beer is really good. In my opinion I d pick Disney world over Universal Studios.

We have been coming to this park since our kids were teenagers and 11 years later we still come as a family along with our seven-year-old granddaughter. The most popular part of Universal is definitely the Harry Potter theme area. It gets busy fast so head there first if you are interested. I don t have any interest in Harry Potter but it was still really cool to go into this area. We missed the entrance to this so pay attention to the map. When you enter, you are in a whole different world. You feel like you are actually in the books\movies. Make sure to try some butterbeer (we prefer frozen) and ride Harry Potter and the escape from Gringotts!
If you re a fan of The Simpsons, there are rides, restaurant, and a whole section dedicated to the show.
The rip rocket is a fun roller coaster and you get to pick the music you want to listen to while on it.
The Men in Black ride is another favorite and if you go in as a single rider instead of a group, you get on quicker and avoid the longer lines. If you are in a wheelchair, you can ride this.
Universal studios has 3-D / 4-D attractions that I was able to go into with my wheelchair. They include the Despicable Me Minion Mayham, Shrek, and The Jimmy Fallon ride.
There are other rides and shows that will help fill up your day also. We usually spend the shorter day at Universal and we will spend a longer day at Islands of adventure. There s no way we could ever do both parks in a day with our whole family so we always get the 2 day 2 park pass.
We always make sure to catch the Halloween horror make up show and The Animal Actors on location. Both are great for all ages and very entertaining. The animal show uses rescue animals and showcases their different talents! Some of them have even been in movies or TV shows. My husband is a big Blues Brothers fan and they have a cool little show with actors singing songs from the movie. The universal superstar parade is also worth checking out while characters from different movies and shows dance and sing.
There are several different theme restaurants to check out. They are not cheap when it comes to their meals. However, they have a family meal deal and a refillable cup deal. The refillable cup deal is great and definitely saves money on drinks! You are allowed to bring in bottled water, sandwiches, bags of chips, etc. (full details on website). This is definitely a money saver.

Outstanding and so much fun. This and Disney World Florida are the two best places to visit. The rides are outstanding and there is not a dull part of Universal. You must come visit because barely anyone will leave unsatisfied.
The shows are also amazing to watch and the whole family will be happy. Everyone is so friendly and it is one of the best experiences of your lifetime.

Previously we were disney fans until we came to universal this week! Eventhough we are from Ohio and had never been to universal, we purchased season passes; thankfully because we loved just except the ratio of express ticket holders to regular ticket holders! On most rides we personally witnessed the express pass members literally ride the ride 3x to our 1x in 20 /30 minutes; which is absolutely ridiculous and the ratio needs to be adjusted accordingly! Luckily we still have 2 days left out of or 6 day trip; hopefully we will get to experience the rides we have previously not gotten to ride!

In closing ,universal please retrain staff on ratios;! I understand they pay to get to cut line but seriously the same people shouldn't be able to ride the ride 3x to our once in 30 minutes! Also there should be some type of limit placed on how many times one can cut line in a day!

I expected better compliance with social distancin...

I expected better compliance with social distancing and cleaning. The park was very busy and there was minimal attention to spacing (even in the lines) or cleaning. In fact, the entire time we were there, we saw 1 person "cleaning" and she half sprayed her cleaning solution once and then "cleaned" an entire rides worth of handrails (basically, she dry dusted them). To be fair, the restaurants we went to, did a good job at both cleaning and distancing (Three Broomsticks and Bubba Gump's).
Not to mention, your DAS policy is a joke and feels like it was designed to discourage disabled people from visiting your parks instead of enabling them. "Oh, you have RA and bad hips and can't stand for long periods? Well, here, come back at a later time...and then STAND for 30 minutes in this line with all of the fast pass people...oh, and you won't be able to bring your scooter... But we'll provide broken wheelchairs (which aren't bariatric friendly (like most of your rides)) that won't go over our uneven paths, so that you can further embarrass yourself. Paid all of that money and I never got to ride anything because I was unable to stand in the reserve lines. We left halfway through the day and went to Disney. Very disheartening. Almost certainly won't be back.

One of the nice places to go to when you're free and don't know where to do. The positive vibes and energy the place give you a boost to enjoy your day, change your mode, and break your sit on the couch routine. Even if you just go to the city walk and walk, it's a way to enjoy your time and not spend much on tickets etc. All you'd have to pay is for parking. Great place to take your guests who are coming from out of town, and have different tastes on where to go or what to eat.

I found this park fun but enjoyed Island's of Adventure more. I went with a few friends of mine during June.

Key Notes:
- Rain is bound to happen so bring a poncho, raincoat or umbrella.
- We bought our tickets on our way down at a local ticket stand, it was a last minute decision.
- There are riders here but I fell Island's of Adventure had more.
- This park seemed more like it was about the studio side.
- There is lots to do that could be done within a few days, week at max.
- Plenty to eat while you're there.
- It's a great place for kids that have outgrown Disney or if Disney isn't their thing.
- The Harry Potter area is pretty awesome! It was my favorite part.

Overall, it's a good place to visit and you will have fun!

Great place just be prepare to spend quiet a bit of money. If you plan to visit make sure you pack a lunch and drinks because everything is so expensive, also if you want to buy souvenirs from the park than you are better of buying the stuff online. Also it helps a lot to buy the speed pass, it helps a lot going thru the lines for the rides.

I've been going to Universal since IOA opened in 99. It's my favorite park to go to. The rides are a lot of fun and the staff is generally really nice. People get into character especially at the WWOHP. There's a variety of different foods and places to shop at. I've also started collecting the pennies at the machines they have there, and this past time was my birthday, so I rode ET for the first time. Which was definitely an experience considering the age of the ride. Universal will always be my home. As an attendee and a one time employee I thoroughly enjoy these parks. Just hoping I can try volcano bay some day.

I m coming back to Orlando for Universal Studios Florida. That should tell you something about how I love this place. This was the first Universal Studios I went to. It was a special place that made me feel that much closer to film. Amazing how you can feel so close to Hollywood when in Orlando, Florida.

Man, what can you really say, this place is amazing. We went specifically to see Harry Potter world, and that was absolutely incredible, but the whole park was an absolute blast. There is so much to see and do, you could probably spend a week just taking everything in. I definitely recommend going to both parks, as there is plenty to do in both, and especially if you want to see Harry Potter world, as it goes between both sides of the park.

Want fun with lots of adventure? Check out Universal Studios Orlando. Great fun for all ages. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing because you will do a lot of walking. It can get crowded depending on the time of year that you go. The staff working in the park are friendly. The food selections are great. This time for tried a loaded potato jacket from The London cart. For a potato it was pretty good. The attendant working the cart was slammed with customers and a little slow in preparing the orders but accurate. We caught a few minutes of The Blues Brother show while waiting to go inside Race Through New York with Jimmy Fallon. If you are a bit curvy or plus size, some of their rides are uncomfortable or you may not be able to ride them. But there are several other attractions to take in. All and all great fun for everyone.

No complaints about anything at Universal Studios!!! Best ride is at Island of Adventure, the Hagrid Motorbike!!! WORTH THE WAIT! The one ride that disappointed us was Fast and the Furious, couldn't believe how slow and underwhelming it was. Return of the Mummy was a great ride too! We also did an interactive meet and greet with Shrek, the Donkey, and Fiona; which was HILARIOUS!!!

I've been going to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure for 21 years! I live in Florida and have had Annual Passes for those 21 years. Most times we stay at one of the onsite hotels for 1 or 2 nights. By doing that your hotel card key becomes an Express Pass to most of the attractions which cuts your wait time to under 15 minutes! It will make your park experience 1000 times better. My son and I just visited for the day this week and bought Express passes for $70 each. We were able to hit all the rides we wanted in both parks in under 5 hours! Best theme park in the world!

We had an absolute blast on our visit. As we made an effort to visit during peak low times, line time was minimal and the park did not feel crowded at all. We purchased a park hopper pass which was ideal; honestly a visit to just one park would feel too small. The only thing we could consider to be genuinely suboptimal is the price of parking, but I suppose that's par for the course. These parks are awesome for families, couples... Pretty much people of all ages (and we certainly saw people of all ages having a blast, which is half the fun). Would definitely recommend.

Universal Studios is not simply a theme park, it is an experience. The park is beautifully decorated year round, the staff at every single location has been nice. Food choices are amazing, from City Walk to the depths of Harry Potter you can find something for everyone.

The best part about Universal Studios is being a grown man and getting to feel like a kid again when you walk around the corner and see Shaggy and Scooby, or Homer Simpson.

I have visited every month (sometimes more frequently) for about 8 months and I still enjoy every visit. I reccomend checking out the Christmas celebration, however if you like to visit in the summer it is just as fabulous. Whether you like thrilling roller coasters or just browsing through some of the many shops you won't be disappointed.
