The lines were long but it was worth it. The rides are all cool. I still miss the old rides like jaws, back to the future, king Kong, earthquake, and twister. All the new rides are 3-d style.

The VIP tour was a great way to see the park if you have limited time but if you are just wanting to get on rides faster, the express pass would be a much more suitable option.
A few too many virtual reality rides. Really enjoyed the Mummy and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit rides!

Because they close early you are rushing to try and get everything in. My other complaint would be the price of tickets they charge the same for less hours .. it doesn t make any sense especially for people who travel so far. I don t see how COVID effects the time covid doesn t get worse at 5

Good experience. We loved the Jimmy Fallon ride, fast and furious and our daughter loved ET ride. Harry Potter area was amazing too! We got to do alot because of it being so empty. Staff was very good with cleaning everything and social distancing. Just had a hard time finding the rides. I found park complicated to get around.

Universal is always a great place to spend time with family or just your significant other. During non-busy days your average wait time is fairly short, even for the most popular rides and there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite or a nice sit down meal.
My wife and I can't wait for the new addition to open up!

Loved Universal Studios!! We had a 3 day pass so we tried to do all of the things the park had to offer. A bit sad I didn't get to ride on the Hollywood Rip and Rock It ride due to the weather. When it finally opened around 6pm I was already in a line for another ride .
The Mummy was a surprisingly Awesome ride!! The Hollywood Horror makeup show was pretty good.

Best rides in the world! I love volcano bay, I went with my friends and we went on many rides because the lines are not that long! Great experience, overall! I also really liked the rides inside of Island of adventures and universal studios. All staff members did a great job! The food is great and the food service. City walk is another amazing part of Universal Studios in Florida I love all the restaurants( mostly the chocolate factory) Me and my dudes had an amazing time and would defiantly buy annual passes!

Went for passholder day before the public. Universal did a pretty good job with the whole virus going on. Virtual lines were a little buggy today but overall I felt safe when I was there before you get on any ride they give you hand sanziter and clean each ride vehicle. I have fun!

Experience Universal Studios and Island Adventure is amazing. visiting with a day ticket is worthless, because of the virtual line reason. The main and amazing attractions required virtual line pass unless you have express pass, which is hard to get those virtual line pass. At least if you have any passes if not today you may experience on other day.

Other then this if the park reached maximum Capacity the parks will close immediately without any prior notifications. If you are traveling from long distance better not to plan visits for these parks.

Fab rides, except the ride of the Hippogryph which wasn't worth the hour queue for the 30sec ride...... Hagrid's motorcycle adventure is out of this world and is worth the wait {avg. 3hrs wait time}, the other queues are a pain.... Rides good but long waits.

My family and I took a trip to this park during Thanksgiving week in 2019. Our main focus was Harry Potter World. We had a wonderful time overall! We stayed at the Universal's Endless Summer Resort, which was a clean, comfortable stay.

Compared to Disney World, the engineering of the parks and their walking area is little crowded and less intuitive, but didn't hamper our trip too much (which is why I've rated it at a four instead of a five). The park overall had a fair bit to see, a decent quantity and layout of restrooms, plenty of places to eat, and a good variety of rides.

Harry Potter World specifically was fantastic. Very crowded, but that was to be expected! Lines move fairly quickly with the fast pass, and there are decent meals with the meal plan. Being able to stop in and shop or visit Harry Potter hot-spots was fantastic! And the fire-breathing dragon atop the building was something incredible altogether!

Had a great time! Can't wait to go back!
Did not like the price of food and drinks or the quality of the food. I highly recommend the free refill cups that are sold a most drink stands. If you refilled the cup just three times you made some of your money back. Bring your own food. Other than that have fun!!!

We love this place. In 2016 when our son received his Make a Wish of Alabama wish US went above and beyond. We loved Disney but honestly it didn't even compare to Universal Studios. The staff came out to get our son and take him through the ride. They were exceptional. I don't know if we could ever live up to that experience again. However we loved our trip in the fall even without our gold pass. We plan on returning in a few weeks only to visit Volcano Bay which we've never been to. I hope it lives up to all the expectations.

Universal studios is great. My only complaint would be against the Starbucks in the park. This used to be a welcoming place; today rude and exceptionally anti customer. Deliberately making customers wait longer than necessary.

I loved this. Not to mention how excited the kids were. The creativity and the technology used there is mind-blowing. I believe that is what make Universal Studios different from other theme parks (that I have visited). This park has stuff to cater to every crowd. A must see...!!!

So much fun! It was a great day as the crowds were light. If you can do the single rider line, go that route as we were able to get through the lines super fast and most of the time were on the same ride if not sitting next to each other

Absolutely loved both parks! We had a 9 day ticket for both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios during Christmas break so the parks were super busy, but the management was amazing. Everything was super well organized and no chaos.
Even though we went on every single ride and did every possible activity from hopping on the Hogwarts train between the two parks to watching the stunt shows etc, we still could have spent more days there. It s been just nine months from our last visit and we already miss it!

We are going to universal studios on a regular basis. We always have the best time. My 18 year old son has severe autism and universal is one of the few places he really enjoys himself. He does not get judged. And he has made many friends within the team member family. We are sincerely thankful

I truly do not understand the reasoning behind the 9am line up in a massive group with NO distancing at all to watch the little show by the horror makeup for rope drop. This does not need to happen at all. Also, lockers were down for 1.5 hours this morning so couldnt go on any rides. One ride told me it was down, and didnt say it was all around the park, so I walked to two other rides before finally a worker said it was down all around. There should of been a general announcement and workers should say it is park wide down so people do not get confused. Also, a worker at Forbidden Journey pointed me to a seat and then said "ugh, sitting in the wrong one but thats okay" Just rude workers all around. Not fun today at all.

Theme park on steroids. Get in early and you'll find most of the rides are walk on. We spent most of our time in the Harry Potter themed area and loved it. Universal is not cheap but it's like the old saying, "you pay for what you get". Highly recommended.

I'm not overly sure what you can say about how wonderful Universal Studios is. Imagine Disney, but so so so much better. All the staff in all of the different parts of the park are friendly and helpful. The food and drinks aren't cheap, but they aren't horrific (by theme park standards anyway), and it just doesn't feel anywhere near as commercial as Disney. Disney always feels like they want to take your money, whereas i always felt Universal just wanted you to have a good time!

The amusement park to go to. Make sure that you pay the extra for the Express Pass or stay in a hotel that has it included. Best way to get to the City Walk to go to the land parks is by the boat. We walked to the Sapphire and got to and from alot faster and was not crammed into a bus that has no air conditioning.

We went to Halloween Horror Nights and as always it was a blast. Only downfall is every year it is becoming more and more packed and ride or haunted house (and sometimes food stands) no matter the time you get there, the lines are ridiculously long. The rides at Universal are fun, the single rider line is a god send, and there is always so much picture worthy places (even at night) to look at.

What a great place to take your family, Me and my wife of 22 years just spent the day at both parks and had a great time. Great staff, from guest services to the janitorial staff, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. After 25 years i am able to walk around parks and ride roller coasters, we had a blast. I highly recommend the Harry Potter section, and you must try the butter beer....yummy.

Great place to have fun and bring the kids along, I recommend this trip with kids after 5 years old, not less, if you bring 'em with less that 5, either of the two won't enjoy the park to the fullest.

Also, during October near the Halloween, the parks shifts the decoration to Halloween, this is a really nice view to see.

Definitely, very nice experience for the whole family.

I believe that the park so far is doing good with this transition though these tough times and will still need a bit of adjustments but over all I was quite impressed to see how well everyone followed the six feet apart rule and that everyone was wearing a mask and not breaking the rules. I do agree however that the employee's are not the most helpful and do disagree with the online sign up for certain rides so universal you should fix that.

Spent a fun afternoon and evening at Universal Orlando in January 2020. Tuesday afternoon was a good time to visit as the crowds weren t heavy. There s a Starbucks when you fist enter ! So much to see. We were there mainly to see Harry Potter World which we enjoyed. A highlight of the day was a performance in an outdoor theater by animal actors and birds amazing and very fun. At the end of the day, there was a parade down Main Street which was awesome. Many restaurants we ate dinner at Bubba Gumps. The food was delicious and the service very good. I recommend visiting Universal

Just bought an annual pass. Reviewed to see if there were restrictions because of covid. None stated when purchasing pass. Get to the park to pick up the pass and was told can t get in. Need to state covid policy upfront not have people show up and get turned away. Spent the entire week at Disney which states you need a reservation was not a problem. Universal advertises you don t need a reservation like Disney but then you show up to the park and have a problem. Very unprofessional practice.

Review update. spoke with guest services on 9/15/20 the gentleman was very polite and professional. He offered there is now a hotline to see if the park is at capacity which does not resolve the potential for this to occur again. His solution of a resolution was a less than adequate response for the amount of time driving to the park and home without being able to enter.. We could have made a reservation to visit Disney and not have encountered this disappointment of wasting a trip to Universal. It is clearly apparent universal does not care about their guests satisfaction. If there is someone higher up in management that would like a second attempt at trying to resolve my dissatisfaction my case number is GC1526876

Universal use to be my favorite park. After spending $680 for my small group for both parks, we were only able to ride 6 rides in the day we went. Virtual Lines are bs. If you get lucky and find a time to get on a ride, after you wait for your time to come up, you stand in line still for over an hour before you get on. Most rides we didn't even get a chance to get a spot to ride them. Park capacity was full. Express passes were sold out. Ride wait times were all over 100 minutes. I have put a lot of money into Universal. And unless things improve, I'm not sure I will keep going anymore.

The rides are good, plenty of places to shop and to eat. BUT the prices have gotten out of control. A slice of pizza costs $12. And unless you pay another $85 on top of your $150 ticket don't expect to get on many rides. UPDATE Added a star because they comp'd us a dozen one use express passes. That really helped! But FYI guest services is molasses slow.

Universal is great. They are complying with CDC recommendations as well as they can during the weekdays. On weekends thats a different story. Parks are crowded and social distancing is ignored.

Hand sanitizer was readily available and you are made to use their variation before getting on a ride. People are consistently cleaning commonly touched areas like railings and queue chains. Employees are there to help, and remind people to keep masks on at all times.

For your convenience there are areas throughout both parks for you to be able to rest without a mask on, and of course they are not needed if you are eating or drinking.

The only way Universal could do any better is implement the Disney like reservation system to guarantee desired capacities in the park.

The food is not bad for a theme park and the prices are competitive. They do have dining and drinking package options. They also have the option to buy their reusable cup and get free refills the rest of the day.

I recommend if you plan on going to avoid the weekends and head there on a Monday or Tuesday.

Way way better than Disney's Animal kingdom.
So much to see and do.
We were only able to do a couple of the rides, but that was due to our poking in every corner to take in all of the sites there are.
A little on the expensive side, but we found it to be worth the money.

First and foremost going into the park I saw a lot of people asking about carrying when they have a permit and there weren't many answers; going in they had metal detectors for everyone and were even not going to let mutt daughter in with a mask for her eyes (a little to extreme). The lines weren't to bad which is refreshing as it is only a couple days after Christmas. The employees are very nice and accommodating. Pretty good experience overall and happy with the day.

Awesome experiences! Most aattraction rides are 3D and they uses ALL the actual characters from your favorite movies. Will definitely do it again and bring the family. Also, going alone (single rider of rides), has the SAME benefit as paying to cut-the-line feature WITHOUT having to pay extra.

Universal Studios Orlando is a dream come true. The park is massive with so much to do and see. All the Harry Potter features in the parks make this place so magical. From hogsmead to diagon alley to the castle and BUTTERBEER!

10/10 would recommend. I paid $600 for a two day park hopper for two adults. Expensive yes, but well worth it.

I've had a dozen great experiences here! But now.... This is an absolute ship-show. Save yourself the money, they're charging full price for half a park and the daily changing of policy and rules with no notification is insane. Just close until you can offer an experience that isn't a 0 star experience.

I could NOT regret renewing my annual pass more than I do right now. I feel like the biggest idiot on the planet.

Honestly have a great time every time I'm here, I'm a season passholder and I try to come at least 5-6 times a year to make it worth it. It's quick to get in and get to where you need to go. Single rider lines are the best because it eliminates almost all the time!

Back at Universal Studios with the social distancing and masks. Little uncomfortable with the heat and masks but they're trying to make it work with rest areas to take them off.

Other then the overpriced food and drinks Universal is the best theme park in Orlando. Parking costs about a million dollars but that s how they can afford to have you pay once and come back free the rest of the year. You can park at the Del Taco down the road and take an Uber or Lyft there for much cheaper then the parking fee.

While some of the stuff was very cool, I do not recommend for families with small children or special needs. We went with my 12 year old autistic daughter who usually loves amusement parks, hated how 98% virtual rides that were SUPER loud. There were very few rides for my 5 year old.. and honestly for the price we could have been at Disney for 2days for the price of one day here.. side note we only went to the main park, I don't know what the other 2are like, but overall not wort the price at all. Visited during COVID times on the 5th & 6th November 2020.
Park was reasonably quiet with wait times averaging 20-30 mins on a few popular attractions like the Minions or Shrek 4D and the Harry Potter rides.
However we walked straight on the Rock and Rollercoaster and the Mummy ride and only a few mins on the Hulk Coaster.
The Bourne Stuntacular is a must. Great show and one of a kind. Kids and adults were left amazed at the action, very well done. Get there early if you want to catch it though as it fills up quick before each show.
Got round most rides on day 1 and completed both parks by 1pm Day 2.

The park itself is great. The lines weren t too bad. It was exceptionally clean - more than Disney even. The rides were great. I have zero complaints about the park itself.

The complaints I have are about the people who come to the park. If you re here and it s even remotely busy, you re going to have people shoving you. If you have small children, people will walk over them. Nobody watches their kids and for me at least, the crowds make it not worth the price of admission.

Again, this isn t anything bad about the park itself, it s more of an indictment against society as a whole. You ll see the absolute worst of society here.
