It's been around 20 years since my last visit and I am very impressed. I'm not even a Harry Potter fan and I was very impressed with the Harry Potter land. The detail is crazy. The castle is great looking. The train is cool. Employees were also friendly and engaging. Also, the entire Simpson area is great. I'm a huge fan.
Mi love going there better than Disney. Can t believe I am saying it. It is so much easier crowd wise.
Universal Studios is incredibly fun! We went this Spring with the whole family. My husband and I have been here before (including our honeymoon!), but this time we had my brother-in-law along to ride the best rides with me! (Some of the rides can be intense and my husband gets a little queasy.) I'm a crazy Harry Potter fan and I loved being able to share that with my bro! We ALL had such a magical and unforgettable time!
Pandemic made it not very much fun. You pay same price for half the hours it used to be open.
Went for Halloween Horror Nights. We had a blast except for waiting in the lines. We decided not to buy the fast pass. Depending who was working the lines to let people through determined the wait times. The wait time posted was pretty accurate for all the haunted houses except for "Stranger Things". There was a guy that would let 50-100 people with fast passes through and then 10-15 w/o the pass. I told him this system wasn't working and he just walked off (great customer service). When I spoke to another employee she said it was on a ratio but she couldn't disclose what that ratio was. The guy that let so many people with fast passes through couldn't tell how many people he sent through because he was to busy talking with his coworkers that were all standing around doing nothing. We knew it was going to be a 75 min wait (what they posted) but it ended up taking over 2 hours. When a girl with a fast pass stated, "that wasn't bad that only took 15 mins", it set several people off.
Don't get me wrong if you want to pay the extra $100-$300 + for a fast pass I believe you should get in quicker than the others but a 50-100 fast pass people to 10 of the other was a bit extreme.....especially when it was not scary at all.
Other than that WE HAD A BLAST!!!
You have to go here at some point in your life. It's some of the best fun you'll have as an adult or kid. Simply amazing!

I used to wonder why these amusement parks cost so much money.... After visiting this Park I can kind of understand... I only visited one portion of the park and it was an amazing day. Everything was geared towards movie stuff and I can only imagine how much money this stuff cost to produce. The price that I paid to get into the one Park somehow seemed worth every penny. The staff here were all amazing! the only recommendation I would make is if you are going for Harry Potter stuff make sure to get a ticket to both parks.... I don't really think they have much Harry Potter themed stuff at the water park so that one is not necessary. I would have loved to take the Hogwarts Express to the other Park and seen more.
We went to Halloween horror nights at universal studios Florida had a great time lines were very long when we first got here but by the end of the night no lines at all we got through all the haunted houses with in 1 hour. Yes it was a sunday night but still from about 10:30 till it closed at 2 am was the best time. Check bn out some of the pictures I took down there. Enjoy
Diagon Alley was awesome. Did early admission from Hard Rock and it wasn't crowded at all. Great time for pictures.
Excellent customer service from everyone in the parks! Awesome rides, great ambiance, decent prices on food and merchandise. We had a wonderful time!!!
Not so Horror, expectations were definitely not met. After reading the hype online about how scary this event is it fell very short on frights. I applaud the effort but the haunted houses seem to be the same ideas just different themes and they rush you through so you pretty much know what's going to happen before it does.
Every staff member was friendly and as u walked passed said good morning have a good day or they could offer any assistance in line where are you had the fast pass or not they would direct you to the right line. Very fun day with my son.
Harry Potter worlds are unbelievable. The Bourne Stunt show is great. So is the Rockit Coaster.
Crowded but amazing! One of the BEST theme parks you will EVER go to! Worth every penny.
Fun times for sure at this park! Loved the Harry Potter bank attraction, best one we rode! Mummy was good too. Don t bother going to the Fast and Furious ride, not worth it at all. Rip Ride Rockit coaster was closed due to strong winds, we were disappointed not to get on this one. Great park overall.

Being from Houston TX, we travel to universal studios a lot! We do the VIP no private and private tours often! Such a great way to know more about the parks and ride a bunch of rides (yes.. A BUNCH! 30-40 rides (re-rides) easy!
We are here for 3 days during the COVID 19 phase opening and I gotta day, they re doing a great job! Pretty cool and historic to be taking pics with a mask on !
An absolutely amazing theme park! One of my favorite places to visit as a Florida native and they have adapted surprisingly well to COVID-19 restrictions. Going out is definitely still a risk but they do a lot to prevent any spread and it is greatly appreciated. It is a great place to visit and I will always recommend the 2 park ticket to enjoy the Hogwarts express train.
Harry Potter world was the most amazing theme park I have ever been to. The details are exceptional, the food was outstanding, the frozen butter beers were delicious. I recommend entering from the Universal Studios Island, start with Diagon Alley. It literally took my breath away. The waiting in line was even enjoyable because there is so much to look at while you wait. An absolute must for any witch or wizard friend of Harry, Hermione and Ron.
So much fun for those who want something more than crying kids at Disney. The Hulk coaster is a must! Something for everyone here!

My fiance and I went yesterday and had a blast! The price of getting the fast pass is definitely worth the money! We were very impressed with city walk and also Universal Studios. We only went to Universal but it was pretty cool! This park in my opinion is better if you want to ride without waiting. Of course you have to pay extra but it was worth it! We ate at Margaritaville and we loved the food.
Good social distancing. Lines were long. Great food at Corsai cafe.
Loved this place, so glad we took the time to go here we had a amazing and truly magical time. Harry Potter and the Transformers where the big attractions for us. The food was great the scenery was amazing you could imagine yourself actually in the movie. If you can afford the Express Pass I highly recommend getting them they are pricey but well worth it if you don't want to stand in line literally for hours to ride 1 ride. The only detractors I would give to this is the price it is high. Just for the day for only the 2 of us we easily went through $1,500. 1/ 2 of that was just the Express passes to both parks. The other 1/2 was lunch, dinner, drinks and souvenirs. Is it worth it? That would depend on how big a fan you are. The really breathtaking rides are not for small children. We however loved it as part of our honeymoon.
Fun/cool park, but wish there were more rides for little kids. Mostly geared towards teens/adults. Harry Potter world is awesome, but to see all of it you have to buy a park to park pass and spend twice as much. Long wait times on newer rides and they don't do the free fast pass (jump to the front of the line) like Disney. If you have little kids, go to Disney.
What can I say?? It's the best of the best.. So much fun! They are doing a great job with the covid-19 Protocols. I feel save. Of course you have to do your part as well. Thank you @Universal Studios Florida. You guys ROCK!!
Disney World has been one of my best trips ever, since we went there with a family's friend. It was in 2011. I wasn't tall enough to go on the Harry Potter ride, so my mom did a trick for me, lol. I felt bad for an old friend cuz she couldn't go on it, since she's younger than me. I also would love to go back there with my family, bf, or friends
Love Universal, but it's been crazy lately due to the Covid-19. We got there around 11am and the parks were at full capacity, so we had to wait for more than one hour to get in. Other than that, is a wonderful place to spend time with family.
Worth every cent! Our family had a great time to say the very least. One day at Universal and day 2 at Islands of Adventure. Perfect combo!
It was great and extremely competitive to Disney World. We took my granddaughter there for her graduation. I had has much fun as she did. Harry Potter theme and rides were amazing. We will go b back soon.
Always a good time when visiting Orlando. Way better place than Disney in my opinion. Not crowded and the kids love it. They may need to update more rides soon but still a favorite destination to visit.
I was excited to spend time with my sister and visit universal studios. They advertised the jurassic park attraction but to our dismay was under construction or repair. I guess merchandise is considered an attraction. We walked across to the water ride, waited in line, they let the people in front of us get on then turned us away due to a malfunction with the loading dock. Then on to harry potter. Again we waited in line and we hear over the loud speaker that the ride was malfunctioning. What the hell. After harry potter is pesidon fury. It was closed off and shut down. I'm not happy. We complained and simply asked for access to the other park because clearly this park needs maintenance. They of course said I'm sorry we can't.. I asked for a rain check so I could come back when all the rides are working. They said no.. I'm so disappointed. I understand that we got really unlucky with all the malfunctioning rides but that's not our fault..

Always liked Universal. Lots of stuff packed into a very small area. I get Disney passes every year because there are more parks to take in. More variety.
Due to COVID a lot of things have changed we have to stand 6 feet apart in line. Wear masks outside. My family and I are annual pass holders. We loved coming here but due to COVID we probably will not renew until we don t have to wear masks. It s not the same

Still just a fun place to visit, wander, and enjoy. Diagona Alley never ceases to amaze. A park hopper pass is a must if you're there less than 2days. That way you can take the Hogwarts Express between parks.
DO NOT BUY AN EXPRESS PASS!
The place is good and not that crowded compared to Disney but it is a sacm in the sense you don't only have to pay for your express RIDES (bypass the long line) , but also not every ride is an express. You would think that you would be able to bypass the line for the longest queue (the New Harry Potter) but no, you can't, so don't waste your money on an express pass, as it is not going to matter in the actual rides that need it, how stupid.
I stayed for three days, two nights and had so much to do the entire time that it was amazing. The fact that the park is tailored for adults as well as children is absolutely fabulous. I enjoyed my entire stay at the park and resort. The Halloween event at night was pretty spectacular too. I would highly recommend getting an express pass for the haunted houses as this was the only way to effectively get through the lines while still hitting them all before the park closes. Only complaint was how pricey it can get, and quick (roughly $1,500 for two). Overall was a superb experience and would definitely do it again.
Extremely over priced. Express pass is a complete scam. Paid $298 for 2 people to have express unlimited passes. There only 4 rides worth riding in the whole park. Everything else is 3D shows or "rides" would not recommend to people seeking a thrilling adventure. Also there's not much to do. We went for a full day and literally walked all the way around the park 5 times and left out of boredom. Also they have to be paying people for 5 star reviews. There's no way that many people didn't have the same issues as us.
If you re a fan of adventure and thrill this is the place for you! Not a fan of Disney? This is the best alternative there is and has some of the worlds best entertainment. From Harry Potter to Jurassic Park you ll experience a little bit of some of the best well-known IP s to date.

I was very happy to go to this particular theme park when the economy started open up. It felt good to ride and people watch.
One of the best theme parks in the world. Everyone should come and visit this place. It's worth the money. I highly recommend to come early in the morning and go on all the Harry Potter rides first or else the wait time will grow to 4+ hours in the afternoon. Come during the weekdays and not the weekends. The butter beer is a must try even though it's not pricey. One small problem I had about the flash pass thing was it doesn't work on the best ride which is Hagrid. Overall a good place to visit.
So much to do! Great park for any age. There s a new water park, and plenty of roller coasters and other rides. Had a great time!

Great place, would love to go again. This is not so much an amusement park as it is an example or how aesthetics really bring life to a place like this. It's a beautiful park and exploring the scenery is almost as enjoyable as going on the multitude of rides they have there. Also, the new Hagrid's motorbike adventure coaster is incredible and I have rode it every day I was there.

An experience to remake with family...
Always a blast! The staff were very contentious about keeping everything clean. Everyone is giving hand sanitizer before going on a ride. Space is given between riders on attractions. Overall for my first time back since COVID-19, I was impressed with how Universal is handling the new CDC guidelines.
Fun times! Pretty expensive to see one park. We went during the weekday and it was not as busy. Lines were about 15 minutes long. We brought our own lunch to save money. Universal studios is about experience rides, then they have an up sell to the other parks. I recommend looking before you go to see any specials or discounts on tickets.
Really enjoyed Halloween Horror Nights. Stranger Things line was way to long, so hopefully this attraction will be available next year.

1 park ticket is 120 and to add both parts it s 170 plus tax. Both parks are about the size of one normal theme park. They sell so many fast passes at 125-150 per pass that you will be waiting forever regardless of the line length. So bottomline $320 before it s worth coming. You get way more for your money at Disney. Don t waste your time!
Universal is just Magic. Each person will have their own experience but every time we go it feels like we are home! Love it.
This place is great for family fun. The many different parks and themes are so fun for the whole family. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, Minions, Bart Simpson, or even cartoons and alien robots this place is for you. There is something for everyone. Make sure to block off several days so you can visit each park. There are three to include a water park for those hot days when you need to cool off. Download the Universal Studios app. It helps plan your day to keep it organized.

As a small child there was probably nothing bigger for me than amusement parks. That changed over the years and now I have to say it doesn't knock me off my feet anymore. It's fun for a while, but somehow you're too old for it.
It was good and we had a great time for our first time going. Nothing like what we expected or what you see on tv, but still a great place for a little fun.
Happy place, amazing rides and wonderful parade. You have to pay a lot of money though, but it s to keep it up with other theme parks in the area. Overall, a magical expensive experience!

Had a great time. Rides were great! Would rate 5 stars but I think all amusement parks are way overpriced. Also, in order to see all of the Harry Potter attractions you need a 2 park pass. That seems like such a money grab. But the park was super fun.
Multiple time passholders and super excited to be back. Great measures have been taken to use social distancing and cleaning. Hand sanitizer at every ride is mandatory and masks are not horrible. To be honest this is awesome because wait times are less. I even observed them cleaning at every ride and escalators walking to city walk. There is always a risk wherever you go so at least I will have fun! You can still get characters but in a more unique selfie kind of way.
I have to start by saying, after my visit (first time at islands of adventure) I was sent a survey, and since I was brought there by my brother,(who is an employee)the survey didnt want to hear how my experience was... and that was a mistake in my opinion... but, I digress.... I ll just say that I was so impressed with a number of things. So much so that I came home and got online to look for available positions at universal studios. Not only was it a fun time, which is hard to come by these days... but the care and planning that it must have took them to make sure my/our visit was safe AND enjoyable was very impressive and appreciated. I was completely comfortable with all the precautions they took to keep the guests and their cast members safe. If you re on the fence about visiting a theme park during this time... go to universal, you ll be glad you did. I can t say it enough, I m so thankful I went. It was a great time... but be sure to get on the new Hagrids motorbike adventure!... best ride I ve been on in years. (Aside from my other faves -mummy, Jurassic, gringotts,) all excellent! Go Go Go!
I have to admit it, this is my second home. Even during this Pandemic the "cast members" go above and beyond. And the only thing that you can love more then the Mouse is Marvel's Island of Adventure. Even with a back injury and requiring "special needs/requirements" this is the best place to spend time with the whole family, they can hit all the rides and I can entertain myself people watching.
This place is great for my family. Something for everyone from roller coasters to very relaxing rides. I love to just rest on their artificial grass by real palm trees while everyone rides the rides. One of my favorite places.
Universal studios was amazing! I'm not a thrill rider and I don't really do roller coasters, but I absolutely loved all the 3D and 4D virtual reality rides! Plus, as a Harry Potter fan it was absolutely stunning seeing the wizarding world of Harry Potter brought to life! An amazing job!
I love this park but I just learned that for the reopening the wearing of the mask is mandatory, I find that it spoils this universe so magical and entertaining !! On the contrary, wearing a mask should be prohibited !! where is the wonder?
Of course this place is magical! The new Harry Potter ride is the most amazing ride ever!! Totally worth the wait. The ride can be down a few times during the day, so make sure to check the app to see when it is back up and running. If you are trying to get to the Hagrid ride first DO NOT try to take the train over to the other park and think you will beat everyone over there. Just start at the front of the park and go straight there when it opens. The aesthetics of all the lines make the wait times feel way less than they actually are. Going on a day when it is raining will definitely improve your wait times.
We did the VIP Tour w/Tour Guide (Mr. Todd) and its was worth EVERY penny! He was so amazing, courteous, and knowledgeable and he worked with us to plan our entire day. Would have NEVER been able to do as much as we did with young children without him. THANK YOU MR. TODD!
It was enjoyable, my grand kids kind of had fun they wished i was able to come on more of the rides with them.
I have tore my meniscus in two places, and stand along time becomes very painful and was wearing a knee stabalizer brace and using a walker and on top of that I have axienty when having to wait in a crowded, closed area and told them that in guest services and was told "well there are lines all threw the park". When i purchased the tickets online though customer service they are the ones who told my to go to guest service and they should accommodate me and my group with a medical assistance pass. Thanks for nothing

I had a wonderful time at universal studios Florida. I went on a VIP tour my first day there and it was wonderful! Our tour guide was wonderful and really made the day special. She took great care in making sure everyone in the group had a special day and were able to visit the rides and places they wanted to.
All of the rides were wonderful and I did almost all of them to really experience everything.
What a day it was and I think I am gonna cherish all the rides in the Universal studios Florida! This is the first time I've ever been on one of the roller coaster rides, albeit the first time it was so scary, I totally loved being on it every single second. Would give a shout out to the Transformers 3D ride and the Simpsons ride! The only sad part was that I didn't get to go to the other parks and could only spend 1 day at the theme park. We are definitely going here and on other theme parks again!!
The review is exclusively about the grilled street corn available as a food option at Halloween Horror Nights 2019. It's the best food item I've ever had a Universal and it's only $5. The flavors are great and it's a little messy but so good and I can't recommend it enough. 1 million stars.
Even with small crowds you cannot see/ride/do everything in one day. My kiddo was mostly interested in all things wizarding (I did manage to get her on a few other rides,) and we still did not have time for a majority of the parks. (We did the 1 day 2 park passes.) It s amazing how much there is to do. We definitely need to go back for a couple days, but she was super happy to visit all the Harry Potter things.
They are doing a good job of keeping everyone distanced and making sure everyone is wearing a mask the proper way. Employees seem to enjoy themselves too.
Buyers remorse, If you are going to get Covid-19 anywhere on this planet, it will likely happen here. Even at 50 percent capacity, the park is still mostly shoulder to shoulder. People are not social distancing.
Universal is such a great experience. Was pleasantly surprised by the Jimmy Fallon ride. Disappointed by the Fast & the Furious and King Kong rides. The Mardi Gras experience was pretty fun.
What I can say about this place other than espectacular! Being there more than 10 times. I bought the fast pass for the entire family (a little bit $$$) but that was the best decision ever! Love Harry Potter!
