Love Universal and Harry Potter World. Wish Jurassic Park ride wasn't closed tho :(
I ve never had a bad experience and I love universal but I went yesterday and the lady that was scanning tickets thought I was using someone else s ID because my hair is longer in my ID than right now. She was being a Karen about it and it honestly ruined my mood before I even walked in the park. Disappointed and don t know if I ll be coming back next year
This was my first time ever to visit Universal Studios. I was blow away with all of the things you can look at. I would of been perfectly happy just walking around all day looking at all the little details. I did go on as many rides as possible and had a blast on just about everything it did. I loved Harry Potter World and will be going back to see what's new when completed.
Not like it used to be. NO studio tour to take you into the movies.
My husband and I take our children to Florida at least once a year. Universal Studios and Island of Adventures will always be on our list. We have a blast each and every time. My children loves Seuss Land. So many colors and super kid friendly attractions. Hulk, Diagon Alley, Spider Man, Jurassic Park etc. Parades, We love both parks. Not to mention the restaurants in City Walk. Can t get enough. I can go on and on because it s so much to do. The staff is always friendly and happy. Will be returning 2021
We love Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. The park is really awesome when transformed. Definately recommend this to others!
Had a great time on our honeymoon
Amazing restaurant mythos restaurant was fantastic!! A d the chocolate factory was delicious!!
The rides were great. Lockers a pain all of them different methods. But a small price to pay. Can't wait to come back with the kids.
Always like coming to Universal. The rides make the experience. Looking forward to new stuff the next time I come.
Wow, must see attraction. you cannot miss harry Potter world. we enjoyed better than Disney world
Great day in the parks. Masks and social distancing required, but that's perfectly okay with me. The revenge of the tooth fairy haunted house was pretty cool!
Truly enjoyable. My daughter is only 2 yr 4 mo old.I thought it will be little difficult with her since Universal rides have height requirements. But child swap option is very well organized. We enjoyed a lot .
Nothing to say, just feel. One of the greatest experiences of my life... amazing time with family, so much love and fun!!!
I love Florida the weather, all around and there is much to know and have fun. Excellent vacations
Worse theme park in Orlando. Two hour waits. Rides breaking down. Parking $38 first and last time . Disney or sea world much better.
You have got to go to the two haunted houses near the Jimmy Fallon ride! So much to do!!!
Love the attention to detail! Clean park and friendly staff. Get in early and the lines are low; wait till the after lunch, and wait for hours (often literally). Harry Potter rocks, yet the big coaster (Rip Ride Rocket) is even better! There are other good show rides too, though a couple are definitely not worth your time (i.e., Fast & Furious)!
My wife and I go almost every other Wednesday and always have a good time. Wish the drinks were cheaper but what do you expect.
My time at the park was fun but I did have some down falls .I understand that we are at a time with COVID-19 but the fact that some rides I could not get on really did aggravate me. I was not aware of the fact that They were doing virtual lines and I could not get on rides without having done that or had a fast pass. Well when I went to go purchase a fast pass they where sold out. How do you sell out of fast passes. But besides that I did have a great time I just know now that I do need to purchase them before hand.
It was a lot of fun, but for it being COVID I was surprised to see how packed the park was, at one point the Escape from Gringotts ride had a 150 min wait, besides the social distancing, the park felt as packed as ever.
It's an awesome place. If going it is so worth getting the express pass.
Just switched from being a Disney Pass family to Universal. Closer to our home no parking issues, more suitable rides as our kids have gotten older 8 and 5. All of the virtual rides are awesome. Everything Harry Potter is unmatched. You have to see it to believe it.
The immersive experience of Wizarding World of Harry Potter is amazing. All of rides and experiences are really fun. As long as your kid is ar least 44 inches tall, there is plenty to do.
Awesome experience for kids and adults. You need at least 3 days to cover 2 parks, 5 days is a better choice. Their guest services were extremely professional and helpful. The rides are fun and thrilling. All the family had fun and found the right levels of rides.
The only thing good about these parks are the Harry Potter themed areas. It's incredibly overpriced. And if you are overweight, don't expect to get on the rides within the Harry Potter areas.
It's a great place, we love the Harry Potter village and the rides. My only complaint is the cost of the food and snacks. Its very pricey and there isn't really a cheap option in the park.
The attractions were a lot of fun, but be prepared to over pay for anything & everything. $25 for parking was just the start. Eat a good breakfast before you go, and find somewhere to eat after you leave.
Great visit. This is my second day of my Orlando trip. I planned on visiting one more day. Staff was fantastic
This was their best experience of my life and i love universal studios. Disneyland comapared to this is like comparing me to you (me being Disneyland) i am sorry that everyone likes Disneyland as your theme park is the best ever.
Thank you for being better than Disneyland
Ps. I hope Disneyland shuts down
Expensive for what you get, especially compared to Magic Kingdom. Experience was good and people were pleasant and helpful. It was a fun time.
Our experience here could not have been more spectacular! On our first morning, we happened to meet some of the Universal Execs (even Bill Davis himself!), and they could not have been nicer! Upon learning that it was my and my friend's first time to Wizarding World of Harry Potter, they offered free Butterbeer, and even set up lunch for us at the Leaky Cauldron!
My friend and I were so starstruck and grateful, we could barely speak. My only regret is that we didn't get a picture with Mr. Davis, that would have been really cool.
Even without that happening, the trip would have been fantastic. There wasn't much in the way of crowds, so you didn't have to wait long. All of the staff were so nice and helpful, especially the gentleman running Madam Malkin's in the afternoon of Friday, 08/28. I feel so bad that I can't remember his name to thank him personally, but he was absolutely amazing!
All of the staff members and crew at the parks were also very careful about observing safety protocols with COVID-19, which was very appreciated! You guys rock, and I can't wait to come back!
Best regards,
Brittney Annabel Stewart
That's to do lots of fun!!! Take advantage of all the promotions available and now with the park running a 50% all the lines are much faster
Been almost 20 years as a Florida resident since I set foot back in at Universal Orlando, I haven't seen this park since I was 19. Thanks to the current reasonable Florida resident ticket that's gets me in till December, regular prices aren't worth coming with crowds. An the 20 minute waits during weekday was nice , I just wish tickets were more affordable for me to brought my 5 kids. Line waits should be like this year round if people pay these expensive prices for passes. But still aren't. It was fun. Universal should consider stronger security from covid, way to many people in smoking areas. Yet the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute shops had good price on 4 mask.
From a stand point, I would consider coming back if Universal looked to stop over crowding to reduce line wait times. If I'm a season pass holder I shouldn't have to pay 90 bucks for a speed pass. Speed passes I get are for the paying people,, but they are a big part why i haven't been back for so long. Maybe consider lowering the parks Maximum capacity so people get their moneys worth, I also feel over crowding is dangerous. Food prices are a bit steep, especially 3 times as much in park for a coke which is $1.79 outside the park.
I think more affordable prices would draw in customers year round. We really need to get back to looking at the family fun over anything. This Florida resident offer is nice. An thats coming from someone who hasn't been back in almost 20 years. Just imagine the 5 kids I have would been more profit if things were more affordable like this and all those family who cant afford it are lost revenue.
Rude employees. Lied to me and told me I could only use a card to pay for food until I told them I only had cash and if they wanted money they would have to take it, so they did. Came all the way from Tennessee for my kid's 16th birthday. Park to park passes for 5. Not impressed at all. I understand the coronavirus procedures are stressful for all, but don't take it out on your guests or they won't come back!
Great place to spend time with friends and family. The rides are awesome here.
Great fun for the whole family. Kids will have a lot of fun here. Adults will have moderate to high levels of fun, depending upon how much of a kid you are on the inside.
Waste of time even with express passes . Rides are fun but you pay to stand in line for 130+ minutes per ride. From open to close you are lucky enough to get on 8 rides . Wouldn't recommend if you hate lines still Wouldn't recommend with express pass
There is a big line for the bathrooms and a long wait time for any food and beverage place
The rides, the attractions and the parades were top notch. Everything is kept up to date, clean and neat. However, everything is over priced. I wondered about families that could not afford to go. We were there during Thanksgiving week and the lines were very long with with up to two to three hour waits. You might only be able to get into three rides or attractions.
Some of the rides and attractions were truly fun and amazing! On one of the days we had a great guide, entered the employees back entrance and used a short line. He was able to schedule our time and get us to the things of which we were most interested. We were able to do 8 or 9 rides, simulations or attractions that day. We will never forget the Avatar simulation were you wear 3D glasses and ride a banshee!
I would suggest that you do not go during holiday time
Great place to visit with family. Like most Minnesotans we also look forward to visiting warm places to escape the winter arrest. Spring break 2019 went very well. Wish rides and attractions were more updated than what they are. Last time we visited was 7 years ago however some rides are still the same. Go for Express pass to skips long line and consider Express Unlimited if your budget allows it.
Very clean, tons of stuff to do! I attended the Orlando Informer event and there were basically 0 lines. The food was also very tasty. I can't wait to go back!
Harry Potter areas were truly amazing.
Very fun and clean place but the virtual line thing doesn t work for anything. Personally I think it s a stupid concept being that some of the other rides don t have it and the line run just fine.
It's been 20 years since we've been here! So different.
Always a wonderful experience. The rides are thrilling and well done. The Citywalk has a good selection of restaurants and shops. Clearly a lot of effort is put into making this a nice experience for everyone. The on-site hotels (most notably Cabana Bay) are fairly priced and are of high quality. I've seen a lot of negative reviews regarding food options, but honestly I thought the food was pretty good. While it isn't necessarily cheap, none of the dining options seemed like an obvious rip-off (except for maybe the butterbeer. That being said, the butterbeer is delicious). Overall, Universal is always very fun and much more wallet-friendly than Disney. Highly recommended!
Great vacation for the family. Food was above average as well... only negative is too many fast pass people on Saturday. Most rides were 2 to 3 hours per ride.
It is a truly magical place expensive but if you dont need to shop it is magical and I'm 56 and my brother's 63. He braved the hulk ride and we both went on 3, 3d rides king Kong was the best.
Awesome I love this place I felt like a kid again. My family and I had a ball the rides are amazing! The experience is amazing uts so much to do and see! We was able to meet the Avengers!! Its a must do again
I loved this park just as much if not more than Disneyworld. The rides are so much fun, lots of great food choices! I loved the shopping as well and I'm not a big shopper. I spent all day in the Wizarding World on one of the days. I actually felt like I was there. I would just sit in the sun and take it all in. The frozen Butter Beer is top notch! Also, they have free lockers for small bags for when you want to go on a ride that may flip upside down which is great!
Was great but even though we were staying at a universal hotel we couldn't get in once the park reached capacity.
Lots of fun and friendly staff. My only recommendation is to find a way to streamline the train between the two parks. Lines seem to get backed up easily and the machines to clear entry into the parks slow. Other than that had a great day.
Awesome. Social distancing was well done and everything was sterilized
Fun time! A lot more to do than I thought, kid friendly.
Always great fun and terrific rides! Food is great and much more reasonable than Disney; better taste and freshly prepared. Alot of rides and fun exhibits for the whole family. Crew is great and very helpful.
Great family fun !Love the Hogwarts experience, made me feel like a kid again! Can t wait to return for Hagrid s new ride!
Had a great time with my son. They did try it keep people 6 feet apart, but as we know a lot people just don't fallow directions.
Oh..my god...this place is amazing! Literal fire breathing dragon on a building. Magic wands from harry potter that interact with shops, lights, lamps, doors! The whole experience here is shocking and amazing. If you like Harry Potter, welcome to your dream world! I was not a big Harry Potter fan but I guess I am now. Easy to go broke here and nearly impossible to see everything in 1 trip. Wildlife on the park are also so use to humans that they will pop down inches from you, be it on your table or foot it was so much fun.
Bucket List Place !!!
This is leaving your fantasy (movie/tv) life in closest to real. I couldn t have imagined this to be so amazing and I regret not coming here earlier.
You have special rides for everyone, be it 4D/5D, rollercoaster, relaxing and with kids.
There is a lot going on around here and I would recommend one day each park but if you want to to enjoy the Hogwards train then you have to take the single day 2 park ticket but it is really worth it.
I did both the journeys ... King Cross to Hogsmeade and return. Both are different and lovely.
I like the attention to details they have done in all the Harry Potter setups.
Had a awesome time with my son and friend can't wait to come again.
First time visit to this theme park, for me and the kids. Fun rides. Cool entrainment and shows. Harry Potter and Diagon Alley area was totally immersive with great ride. Didn't see it all today, going back tomorrow. Totally excited about 2nd visit.
I went on a Monday... waited 3 plus hours until I was available to get on the first ride... waited one hour for a certain ride. Just for it to shut down right when we got to the front.... some rides you have to make virtual appointments for (in which they had no appointments available) .... a complete waste of money... don t go while COVID is still going on.
I love Universal Studios! Lots of great ride and restaurants. Harry Potter is great and very immersive. Parking is expensive though which is the reason why I removed 1 star.
We visited Disney s Magic Kingdom on Friday, August 21st. We felt safe and the park did everything right.
We visited Universal Island of Adventure and Universal Studios on Saturday, August 22. Universal was a vast difference compared to Disney. Universal has a veil of safety pulled over our eyes. Maybe I wouldn t have noticed if I didn t visit Disney the day before and have a comparison to hold them to. Universal is a waste of money and I wish I could get my 800 back. We ended up leaving right before 2 pm due to the massive crowds of people and the inability to rides any rides. They have a virtual ticket system that is a complete joke. We sat on a bench refreshing the Universal app over and over trying to get in these virtual lines.... which were so full that we NEVER got in. The rides that you could get in a regular line for, their waits were all over 90 - 120 minutes. Compared to Disney s 20 minute ride times. The Universal pass would have been an additional 600 dollars for my party, so that wasn t an option.
The sanitizing stations are far from each other and you will more than likely find them empty. We had a wonderful day at Disney, but Universal was a waste of money and time. Universal is not limiting park capacity. I don t care what anyone says because I experienced it first hand and have visited this park many times in the past. There wasn t any difference for our safety, other than the terribly planned virtual lines.
Don t risk your health at Universal parks. And a blanket response about the CDC that has been given prior is complete hogwash. I was at Disney the day before and saw how easily this park could do better. Do better for your guest that support you during a pandemic. Shame on you Universal.
What a awesome place. Lots of walking. Plenty of things to do. Need two days to do everything here.
It s a great place to be. Do not miss this if there s an opportunity. If you ask me why you have to go to Universal Studios then I would say it s the attention to detail . Everything has a place and everything is in the place it needs to be. The rides are beyond words. It ll take you into the world of its own. I don t want to give anything out about Harry Potter world more so if you are a fan because words feel short. There s a good selection of restaurants based with varied price and cuisines. There are good shows to enjoy as well. If you stay there after sunset then there s a different kind of entertainment with lights and sound. Trust me you wouldn t want to miss.
It was an awesome experience. Definitely a must do. The new Harry Potter world is an amazing experience.
We are annual pass holders and visit numerous times a year. We absolutely love Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure! Halloween Horror Nights and Mardi Gras are our favorite times to go but the Christmas decorations are fun as well. Always plenty to see and do and of course we love the rides (The Mummy is our favorite). It has special meaning to us as I proposed here and it is definitely our happy place.
Love this place it's perfect for all ages, and brilliant for anyone who loves films. Rides for all ages, and areas for all ages. Shops everywhere and food areas everywhere, you cant get bored so much to do I had to do it over 2 days to be able to see everything. Brilliant would recommend to anyone.
My home away from home, love this place great dining, drinks and entertainment.
We visited the park on a Wednesday, hoping to avoid long lines without relying on express passes. Luckily, we did not have to wait more than 10-15 minutes for any ride, thus making this visit a good value.
The park is, as the name suggests, is themed around Universal s movies. There are some roller coaster rides but most attractions were high end 4D experiences. We did enjoy most of them (minions, Simpson s and ET was good, while Man In Black was just a ride with sharp turns).
Park also has designated areas imitating different cities, one part was just for the Harry Potter movie, it s like you re actually in the movie set.
No restaurants inside the park, just fast food. You need to go back out if you want to dine in properly.
Size-wise, compared to Disney s Magic Kingdom, it s much smaller. Takes less than a day to explore everything the park has to offer. However, it s a very different type of experience and it s definitely worthy of a visit.
Even thou it was pack & the express tickets was sold out it was great & clean
First time had tons of fun with much variety in the rides and attractions. If you like the thing that universal media offer needless to say you should enjoy yourself
I really love this place it s one of my favorite places to go! It s family-friendly and fun at the same time. Harry Potter world is a dream to Harry Potter fans (also me) I love how they included basically everything from the book/movie. Plus the Harry Potter rides are just perfect!
If you're in Florida, you better visit this place! :)
Best park ever. All the staff is super friendly. Great fun. Lines move quick. Overall love it
Rides and the park were great. However, be careful as there were many people today who refuse to follow distancing or mask rules while waiting in the long lines and staff does not make the effort to enforce these rules.
I love universal! Halloween horror nights is the best tho!
An unmissable park to visit. Lots of attractions to see and do and lots and lots of fun. The park is a sight to behold in how it is set out and spotlessly clean. The themed rides are brilliant in how they are combined roller coaster and animation with special effects that put you in the ride. A park not to miss out on.
Love the park, all the rides are amazing. Great experience. Every rides and shows have great staff and very helpful.
Only reason I didn't give 5 star is because at almost all food stalls the staff were grumpy and rude. Happened multiple times in 2 days we spent here.
Wonderful park for the family and kids, great rides that include Harry Potter, Simpsons, Transformers & the Minions everyone is catered for. Nice places to eat & drink and some great character interactions and shows.
Uh...maze...ing... Had such a great time with friends Love the rides. Haggard's motorcycle ride is phenomenal. The Rockstar roller coaster is fantastic. Both of those roller coasters have a good length of time of being honor roller coaster. All the other ones are super fun I was extremely surprised with the Jimmy Fallon race... Good stuff. Fast and furious can use a little love but overall such a great experience.
These guys do a great job taking care of their customers. For families with special health care needs family members they will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and make your vacation easier. They have trained their team members well to recognize and assist families with challenges. I thought Disney was the only ones that really did this, but these guys went a step above Disney to help us out. I was very impressed. We will be back!
Had an absolute blast at both parks for my birthday! Loved all the rides. Food and drinks are way over priced as the shopping is also. I would recommend bringing your own stuff if you go. You can wait in the lines for a long time also (Harry Potter was at 85 minutes at one point) so if you can afford the Express pass that may be good but its $$.
Came back to Universal Studios for the first time as an adult. It was just as much fun as when I was a child. They have a lot of fun ride that are themed around a lot of iconic movies like Transformers, Jurassic Park, and of course, Harry Potter. Definitely recommend this for families of all ages, but I think parents with teenagers would enjoy this park the most.
Best theme park ever. Worth every penny. Disney is loads of fun but in a kiddy way. Universal is fun for teens and adults.
