Every time I come here, I am never disappointed! They rides are so much fun and they put in SO much effort to make the attractions as realistic as possible. The new Harry Potter areas are just unbelievable!

Great time off season. Didn't purchase the quick lane / fast pass. Went in late January. A lot of interaction from characters throughout park. Shows in universal studios park were great. Ride times were often less than 20 minutes, never waited over an hour. Hogwarts was very crowded.
Would definitely purchase the quick pass deal if visiting during summer months. Have drinks in your hotel room because a Coors light is 9$ in the park, and that's the cheapest adult beverage.

It s not bad BUT terribly overpriced. I know, I know, it s a theme park, of COURSE it s going to be overpriced! And you can get sweet deals if you check out their website, but... you have to stay at least 4-7 nights in order to really get a good deal. And my issue is I feel like there just isn t enough to do to stay 4-7 nights. I ve been to universal several times and I m not really a big thrill seeker, so I can do the entire park in a single day (maybe two). I feel like if I was a Florida resident I would enjoy it a lot more. But a single day here is almost the same price as a 2-3 day stay at Disney... and there s more to do there for me in terms of more tame attractions. That being said, I have never EVER regretted coming to Universal, it s a lot of fun! Especially if you are a Harry Potter fan. It s worth a trip at least once in your life.

I don't know why but Universal is fascinated about 3D and 4D attractions. With how much Disney lacks in the thrilling coasters, you'd think that Universal would invest in bigger and better coasters to gain those hungry Annual Pass buyers. But no, they have 8 - 10 attractions that feature 3D/4D all based on the Spider-Man technology. This needs to change.

Tip: When you get hand sanitizer from the park or an employee, clap your hands. It works better when applying it on.

I do though have to say, unlike Disney the food at Universal has a lot more variety and it doesn't "taste" or look cheap. Although some food is a bit ridiculous like charging $6.99 for a side salad that has 3 pieces of lettuce and some food due to COVID can lead to some food being cold and not made to order.

One downside is that everything needs lockers compared to Disney they don't need them. It would be nice if Universal invested some RND money to make a Magic Band like device where we can put it on our watch or wrists (like Volcano Bay). This so that we don't have to carry around the paper temporary locker tickets or a phone.

We came here around the 14th of November and all the Christmas decorations and music was playing at the park. We all loved it.

Even though it's not located in this park the "The Lost Continent" section where Poseidon's Fury is located needs to be removed. They either need to expand this area to include more Harry Potter stuff like bringing back Dueling Dragons/Dragon Challenge or introducing more coasters.

We massively enjoyed our time here, the Christmas parade was great but the odd rope holder we spotted clearly didn t want to be there and that made it even more funnier haha. I used single rider ques where possible and the waits were not long at all. We did walk out of the live stunt show when they started messing around with animals and sea life...not for us

We Visit Universal Studios and Island of adventure...

We Visit Universal Studios and Island of adventure for the Labor Day weekend. I have to said I love these park, but the experience Thai weekend was catastrophic. They didn t do any arrangements to get a control over the amount of people inside the park. They were saying that they were working at 50 percent capacity, people that was a lie. Is not fair with your customers to be treated like that. No one inform us at the entrance that most of the rides were closed. Minimum waiting time for ride was not less than 100 minutes ( my Gosh even the E.T ride has 60 minutes waiting, really!!!!) that incredible line to buy water, beer and food it was too much. Then when we tried to cross from universal to Island is adventure we went to the Howard s express train and guest what...... 140 minutes of waiting time. At this point I was so upset I spoke to the attendant and told him that I want to walked instead and he told me it was impossible because the park were already close ( we are talking here that it was 3 pm in the afternoon) and they won t allow for us to walked from park to park. Really!!! Finally we were able to only do 2 rights that only ones that we could get a virtual line, and even with the Virtual line we did like 60 minutes regular line. Harry Potter ride (our favorite) it was unavailable unless that you got Virtual (which was not available) for me that was no security for COVID people we all stuck together in this huge lines with no proper social distance waiting for hours. Please don t do this to us we are you regular customers. Thanks to us you have business. I felt so unfair to be threatened like that. And Universal studios I am comparing you with other parks they are serving their guest during this situation way better than you are.

Go in early December and queue times are minimal. Love it here. So much more for adults to do than at Disney! The Harry Potter areas at either side of the Hogwarts Express are particularly incredible. - The only downside is that all the new rides are those 3D-type rides. The first ones of those were excellent because they were so different. But now they're all like it, and probably exactly the same movements and tracks etc. just with a different 'show'. I enjoy original roller coasters but they are few and far between at this park.

Absolutely love universal after our Disney trip which was a complete nightmare I hesitated making another trip to another amusement park like this. However our time there was so amazing we ended up getting annual passes. They have a little bit to work out still opening since the shut down but overall they ve handled things very well. Stay very professional. Parks are always clean. 98% of the staff are always friendly and helpful. We love universal. We even had a ton of fun with my toddler. Which I was worried about.
But they have so much to do for all ages

I feel after reading some other recent reviews I should add some more info. I visited in June and again in August at the bringing of the reopening and further in. Both times I stayed on site. Staff was always informative and helpful. Even those who do not know an answer will help get you one. Everyone had masks. Rarely did I see anyone with it even below their nose. Which they staff stayed on top of to a rather annoying extent if you ask some. If you properly use their app you have no issues with any rides being virtual aside from the new ride which should be expected anywhere.

Had an awesome time. We're Disney passholders and this was a great break for us. Planning out next trip as we speak. Staying on site and utilizing the resort provided express passes made for an amazing trip. We were able to ride everything at both parks each day. We told ourselves going in we weren't going to compare it to Disney. By the end of the trip we were comparing Disney to Universal. There were so many things we liked about it that Disney doesn't provide. We had just an amazing time.

This is so much more fun for the boys than Disney. Simpson's ride, the new Jimmy Fallon is fun. Transformers is the best video coaster. The classics like the mummy are tons of fun. And if you really like roller coasters they have one up front where you play cool music as you ride. I also enjoyed the new fast and furious, not too intense but good fun.

I went during the weekend during the pandemic and I do not recommend to tourist to come since most of the locals are around and come and it gets packed. If it's on a weekday then it is much better, shorter wait time, more space to walk around, great merch, and good customer service. Wear your masks y'all.

Memories that will last a lifetime. I can't imagine a more perfect vacation that caters to kids and adults alike. Well done Universal Studios - we will be back! We did the VIP Experience and it was worth every penny. The kids (teenagers) were in awe, had a constant blast, and were exhausted by the time we got back to our room. The adults liked all the different food and drink choices, the history behind everything, the "magic" of behind the scenes. Brian our guide was amazing simply a wealth of knowledge. We had 10 in our family - my mom in a wheel chair and every age range from 73 down to 8, and Brian made sure everyone of us had a great time. Hands down the best vacation we have ever had. Thank Brian and everyone at Universal for all you do - loved it!

Universal studio is fun, my favorite part was Diagon Alley. It was designed very detailed and it actually felt like you are in Wizarding world. It also have a cool ride (escape from the gringotts). In general the rides are just like basic. I didn't really like minion or Shrek but surprisingly I really enjoyed Jimmy Fallon ride. I didn't know what to expect but it turned out really fun. Fast and furious was very lame, and my least favorite ride was men in black. Overall its a fun day but if i have to choose between universal studio and island of adventure, I would definitely choose island of adventure.

I havent been here in a longtime, I was blessed to take my family there, and did we ever enjoy it, there is so much too do it's a weekend thing. Be prepared to spend money, it is kind of expensive, unless you find a deal online. But we had so much fun and the memories that will be shared for years to come is well worth the cost.

I can't imagine being packed in like sardines like the pre-Covid days after visiting the park with all the Covid restrictions in place! Great use of cleaning methods, social distancing and limiting attendance. Great ride options for all family members, good variety of shops and dining open and read to help you. Would highly recommend going during Covid restrictions, probably not as high of reccomendation during non-Covid times unless you planned really well and got a smoking hot deal on express passes.

There's no doubt that both of Universal Theme parks are extraordinary and well made, but it still doesn't justify the excessive amount they charge for the entrance. One day two parks $174/person on a weekday in February ($90 extra for express pass) + tax - that's a rip-off (especially if you just want to experience the parks without rides).

We pretty much like Universal but not the lines. I have to say every time we did visit there was some attraction or more that was not operating. This time we were in line for the Men in Black ride and it had to shut down for a long period of time. It did finally come up. I would say if you and your family haven't been then yes check it out because it is a good experience. Maybe go in May before school gets out or in September to avoid the lines otherwise it could get brutal. We have been multiple times like before our son was born, that was great and after our son was born, twice and those were great. Just research and have a good plan.

Loved it. This theme(s) park can supply about three days of enjoyment and is enjoyable for kids and adults. Important to mention that the universal hotel nearby lets you get to the park earlier than the opening hour, but only to the Harry Potter section if I m not mistaken, which gives a huge advantage because this section is filled with people and getting their early lets you really enjoy the rides. Some of its sections are the Harry Potter section, Jurassic park/world (not sure), marvel superheroes, dr. Seuss, and some rides based off some of universal s most recognizable movies (despicable me, of course), and more to enjoy.

Add Universal Studios Florida to your bucket list! The Harry Potter Castle is amazing to see in person. The ride is a bonus. The Kong Skull Island ride was killer! My tickets are good for only one Universal park at a time. So far I have only been to one of the two parks but already that is enough experience to give 5 stars!

Amazing place .... loved the rides, fast pass and photo pass. Great restaurant, live shows and lively parade. They have all your favorite movies like fast and furious, despicable me, transformers, avengers, even some surprises from the 50s - blues brothers, Marilyn Monroe. They have an unlimited drinks cup which was totally worth it and stays as a keepsake too

Excellent place to vacation.

Excellent place to vacation.

the staff a second to none and will do anything to assist you. (As a registered disabled customer) I truly value how much they want to help you.

Amazing Rides, some of the best in the world as you may well already know, but the water rides are incredible... as an enthusiast seeing a rapids ride like bilgerat barges on full soak for lack of better words just makes me happy!

Food offerings are varied and of a reasonable price for where you are, fast serve and sit down are available.

Cant wait to visit again soon.

So much fun grate rides so much to see and do lot of food and drink. A must do in Florida. Only negative was that the person on the gates that sold us our tickets had no idea about the parks and what happens in each, so we missed the parade which my daughter wanted to see.

Don't buy a drink from fat Tuesdays if you are leaving the park. You won't be able to leave with it. Security says there is a sign. I think the server should ask and bring to the attention of the guest. Lots of rides closed. Doing much work. Looks like new ride coming.

I can see you he appeal. But the cost is outrageous for what you get. They are making a killing off of the Harry Potter name. You will do well to go early and get some rides done before the the crowd puses the cue times to 3 hours. Yes you will see those times even in the off season. It is still a fun place to look around but the crowds can be overwhelming and make for some a less than enjoyable experience.

During COVID19 I felt they were very organized and I felt at easy. When you enter they take your temperature and of course they have the metal detectors. This is placed at the parking area before you get to City Walk. It was great to not have to deal with the long lines and not have to deal with everyone on top of each other. They have the 6 foot distance at every ride and before you get on the rides, the employees come around to give you hand sanitizer. They have hand sanitizer stands at the end of each ride. If you ve never been you ll miss some of the parts that make the rides a little more interesting. Everything felt more clean than usual. The new Stuntacular of Bourne was SUPER cool. The Gringotts was out of this world, AMAZING!

Really clean park. Had a good time. Was alot smaller than I thought it would be. We went in an off peak time so the longest line for any ride was about 30 min. Most had no lines at all. The layout and decoration of the park was really nice. The staff was very friendly. Alot of the little shows put on by characters were really good. I wish they had more actual rollercoasters it seems most of the rides were 4d simulators built off the movies like fast and furious, the mummy, Transformers, men in black were all simulator style rides.

Universal is beyond amazing as far as park experiences go. Complete immersion everywhere you go. No cracks in the seems no matter where you wander. Cast and crew members were extremely helpful in every aspect; from accommodating our food allergies when dining to helping with tracking down lost property. I've never once had anything even resembling a negative experience anywhere on universal property and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy themselves.

I love amusement parks but I m disappointed that they haven t lowered prices much that I have seen due to COVID, especially considering their hours are cut in half. Also I ve been here plenty of times, probably over 8 and I swear every single time they have a ride closed due to technical difficulties for the entire day?? I also miss back to the future ): I love the Simpson s but just expand or get rid of MIB or something because back to the future is a classic!!

Id recommend arriving as soon as the gates open and head to Harry Potter, this area gets super busy in the afternoon. Also a little dashing around in the morning will save the queue time around the park. Download the app and you can check queue times where ever you are.

One of the best theme parks to visit when in Florida. Every single ride there is worth experiencing. The indoor rides are better than outdoor ones like the roller coasters when sun is shining bright. Make sure to go early in the morning like around 10am so that you can cover all the rides till evening. The cues are longer on weekends, I would suggest going on weekdays there so that you won t need to wait for long time. Overall the experience was very good and enjoyable!

All rides were great. Getting there the extra hour before the park opened was key! Only complaint would be staff. Especially in Harry Potter area at universal. Saw 3 -4 staff being extremely rude to us and others. Unfortunate that some really did not play a role and looked very unenthusiastic about working...
Overall, good experience. The kids love it. Would not recommend visiting over holiday season if possible... very crowded and long ride lines.

$550 for 2 children, 2 adults. Masks required. Long lines, lots of rides didn't even have lines. You had to sign up virtually , which most rides were already full. When we would finally find a ride available, we would try to book time. It would just circle & circle for several minutes, then say come back another time. We were next up for Mummy ride, & there was some kind of fire, and everybody had to evacuate the building. Came back couple hours later, in line for at least 45minutes , when there was a mechanical failure, & had to leave, again. Didn't get to ride any of the popular or new rides. Very disappointing and a rip off. But most of the employee's were very nice. Just the technology was lacking.

Food is much better than Disney. The employees really stick to the script. Plus, they are really helpful. We went during Christmas break though & it was REALLY REALLY crowded. I did notice that people in electric scooters were ignored by the crowd, so if you need one.. I wouldn't go. I had a great time though. Harry Potter train wasn't what it could have been, but keep in mind I'm an adult. Kids will love it. If you love exiting rides, Jurassic Park, and Harry Potter, this is the place to be! During our last visit, we used the park-to-park option and were able to go to the Jurassic Park ride, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, The Transformers Ride, and The Minions Ride. We have traveled to these parks in Orlando four times, and I look forward to the fifth!

I visited Universal Studios Orlando last week. I b...

I visited Universal Studios Orlando last week. I bought park to park passes so that I could go to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure on the same day. On top of that, I also bought express passes. I've spent hundreds of dollars at this venue. Being a broke college student, this is a big deal. On my first day at the parks, my boyfriend got motion sickness and couldn't ride anything. I was disappointed because I'd spent an abundant amount of money and it was all wasted now because we couldn't ride anything. I asked a worker passing by if there was a place in the park where we could buy some Dramamine to help with the motion sickness and I was VERY pleased with the kind, caring, and empathetic response we received. The worker escorted us halfway across the park to a medical center where they treated my boyfriend. She then took the time to go through a list of all the parks attractions, detailing which ones may cause motion sickness and which ones may not. Afterwards, she bought my boyfriend a drink to help with the motion sickness, with her own money. Kyra from Event Operations, well done and thank you very much! Someone get her a raise.

The next few days at the park, my boyfriend took motion sickness medicine beforehand and we had a great time. I was very worried about going during COVID-19. I'd been reading reviews leading up to our trip and many of them were awful. People told stories of wait times exceeding three hours, COVID regulations not being followed, etc. If you're like me and are trying to plan a vacation during this pandemic then there's a few things I would personally recommend. First off, buy express passes! They're expensive but they're worth it! We walked on almost every ride. If you do plan on getting an express pass, I would recommend buying them early and online. If you try to buy them in the park on the same day you want to redeem them, they may be sold out because there is a limited number of express passes that can be sold. DO NOT go to the parks on weekends, try to go on weekdays when they will be less busy. I'd also recommend getting to the parks before the gates open. This is the time of day when the parks will be the least crowded. And of course, take medicine if you experience motion sickness and plan on riding the rides. You can avoid a lot of misery if you know what you're walking into. Universal Studios, much like Disney, Sea World, etc. are by definition TOURIST TRAPS. This means everything is going to be overpriced. PLEASE know what you're walking into. Odds are, you're going to spend money here and a lot of it. Be prepared for that, or you won't have a good time.

In terms of COVID regulations, Universal Studios did an amazing job. Mask wearing was enforced, proper PPE was used, and sanitization of surfaces was excellent. If you're seeing boomers without their masks on, don't blame the workers. They can't be everywhere at once to tell inconsiderate individuals to put their masks on. For the most part though, everyone was being respectful and doing their part to keep themselves and others healthy. Again, shoutout to Kyra from Event Operations, you truly made this trip amazing!

Best place to be at if you wanna have a good time with friends and family. Make sure you carry water, electrolytes, fruits, snacks in a small bag pack cause you ll be drained from all the excitement.
