Just wanted to leave a review about our experience here, post Covid-19 outbreak. We're here right now ( August 27th 2020) and these are some of the shortest lines I've ever experienced at any of the parks. And yes, social distancing and masks are being highly adhered to... Rides are sat every other row, staff is constantly wiping and sanitizing, and I haven't seen a single person without a mask (they have designated, isolated places where you can go in, one group at a time, and take off your masks to have a breather). I was apprehensive about things but have been very at ease the whole time here. The only thing I didn't understand / get to use was the virtual line feature - I couldn't figure out how it works. But like I said, it wasn't necessary since the lines were super short - seriously, have you ever gotten on The Hulk in 25 minutes?!

Went to both Universal and Islands of Adventure. You must have both parks to get the entire Harry Potter/ HOGWARTS experience. This particular section was the most crowded with ride wait times between 1.5 to 2 hours during OFF season of February. I can t imagine and wouldn t recommend going during the summer months. The ride wait times outside of this area were not nearly as bad. 15 minutes to an hour depending on the ride. If you need to choose a park, I enjoyed the Universal side better and probably a great choice for adults and small children. I think Islands is more suited for adolescents. The food is great. Expensive as hell but very good. We ate in Diagon Alley. And The Mummy is absolutely my favorite ride! You MUST go on it! Everything is ridiculously priced though. Be prepared to spend $30 to park and a frickin cookie is $6. One single cookie. Crazy!

We took 40 kids to Universal and had a wonderful experience. Aimee in one of the Harry Potter shops went above and beyond to take us to the shop where we could find the shirt a kid wanted and couldn't find. She made that child's day and we truly appreciated it!!!

This place is amazing. The rides were exciting and the park was fun to walk around. The Harry Potter experience was top quality and you could feel like you're in the wizarding world. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vacation spot to visit. Everything was quite expensive though.

In spite of the times we're living in, Universal is doing a great job making vacations memorable!

If you come from out of town, stay on site at one of the hotels that include Express with your room. It's SO WORTH IT! You don't have to worry about making a reservation to get into the park like ~other local parks~ either; you can just walk right on in!

If you're a Harry Potter fan, you NEED to visit Universal Orlando! There's so much to see and do in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade alone, you'll need at least 2-3 days to do them all!

Don't miss the shows! Yes, SHOWS!!! Blues Brothers are great; Bourne Stuntacular is mind-blowing; Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees are stunning; Horror Makeup is funny!

Second time here, first time I was here by myself, this time I came with my family. The amusement park is mesmerizing, with a lot of stuff to do and many attractions to ride. The normal ticket is expensive but worth every penny. You had the option to get the express pass but it will double (or even more) the original ticket price. Is highly recommended to the the 2 park ticket, if you going to be there for more than two days there s and option: 4-Day, 2-Park Base: Buy 2 Days, Get 2 Days Free where you can save even more that s around $250 per person. The lines some times got really crowded and you have to wait for an hour(sometimes more) for a 10-15 min ride. Besides that you have to be early and ready to walk a lot, when I say a lot is a lot, because of the amount of attraction and the crowded. Is always a good idea to bring water bottles. My recommendation is what we did, bringing 5 small water bottles and 2 extra T-shirts( we were there in July, extremely hot and moist)

An amazing place with tons of great places to eat and drink. Lots of live shows everywhere. The parks are kept clean and are well maintained. Fans of almost every Universal franchise will find something here. A bit pricey, but it's a must have experience at least once in your life! You gotta ride the Hulk!

The Harry Potter attractions do not disappoint and are an exceptional sensory experience. This also means it gets packed very quickly so the early entry and fast pass are invaluable ways to see it before the huge crowds and to not wait forever in lines. The rest of the park didn t hold a candle to the Harry Potter experience but my kids enjoyed the water rides at the Island of Adventure. Still worth every penny for how awe struck they were.

Went for the Harry Potter experience one big tip American Express gives you a discount and they have a lounge you can get snacks and waters definitely worth using if you re not gonna be using the meal plans, recommend having the express passes no matter what definitely saves you a lot of time in the park in allows you to get through all the rides even in the busy season of July we were able to ride all the rides at island adventure and Universal Studios had a great time!!!!

Very fun place and lots of great rides and attractoins. They are very good about getting people on the rides quickly, though we did have fast passes so I can not speak for those who did not. They do have free water at most of the restaurants in the park. Some of the themes restaurants are a little low in food quality, with the exception of the Krusty Burger, which had very good burgers and pizza. Many of the bar type restaurants were just fine to eat at if you do not want to take a risk with the park theme restaurants. The only reason I give 5 stars is the speed and friendliness within the park restaurants. Disney world does a great job of both in their on site restaurants. The workers are very informal and in such a hurry and they slow the whole process down. Hopefully they can rehearse the food operation and get that straightned out. The rest of the park is great and you will have a good time.

Just brilliant... an amazing experience. There's a range of stuff to do regardless of age and thats what has really impressed me. I went in a family of ages ranging from 11-48 and there was fun for everybody. The rides are just magnificent, I have never witnessed anything quite like it before! ET ride was my favourite, no CGI or anything, brought back a lot of fond memories, great for the older generation.

It s properly managed comparing the number of guests it serves daily. It s a lifetime experience and one should visit atleast once. Rides are really a fun. Especially Harry potter and Simpsons ride. Don t think Simpsons ride is a easy one. You will like it for sure and remember it always.

I really dislike that they make you use lockers. I know it may seem like and apples to oranges comparison but Disney World has no rides that require locker use. Also the food in park is not very good just eat a city walk much better food.

Had a great time at Universal Studios but feel unable to award to 5 stars due to the value for money factor. I might be in the minority on this, but it is REALLY expensive when you consider without the express pass, you ll be spending most of your day in a queue, especially at peak times.

With the express pass (when we visited in Feb), you can have done everything comfortably by 2pm.

The quality of the food available was average at very high prices but it is very good that they allow you to take in your own snacks. I d also advise taking refillable water bottles. Water stations are plentiful which is important in the Florida heat.

The Horror Show was well worth watching, very entertaining.

All the staff were all super helpful and upbeat.

Rather than take one big back pack, if you re a family, take a few smaller packs so that you can fit them in the free lockers for the rides (rather than the paid large lockers).

Queues were managed well throughout, from the entrance, to the food courts to the rides.

My son looked forward to going to this park for a long time, our experience from a customer service standpoint to downed rides was unacceptable. Best advice, go to Six Flags or Disney world. There's a no refund policy for bad experiences here. Birthdays also do not matter to this company.

This rating may surprise you. It surprised me. W...

This rating may surprise you. It surprised me. We're Disney people, so finding Universal this enjoyable was unexpected. We've been to Universal before and of course, always compared it to DisneyWorld. Previously, we said that the customer service here didn't compare, nor did the atmosphere, but the rides actually were better than Disney's.

Now, everything seems better than Disney, having recently been there as well. This park was ultraclean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the precautions they were taking for COVID couldn't be beat. With the exception of just a few rides being closed (Hagrid's and King Kong) we rode everything we wanted to. Multiple times for some.

The crowds were smaller, so lines were shorter and staff was continually scrubbing everything down. My wife even commented on how clean the bathrooms are. Maybe it's just our ages, but those things seem to matter to us. Every ride you get onto, a staff member gives you a squirt of hand sanitizer. Then they mop everything up between riders anyway. Not impossible to get an infection here, but I'm thinking it's pretty improbable.

If there was any one negative, it might be the spacing requirements as dictated by taped lines in the queues. Occasionally they are so far apart that the nearest group in front of you is easily 20', or they are around the corner where you can't see and you find yourself struggling to know when to move. Then sometimes, the line moves quickly and you try to catch up as it stops suddenly and you find yourself in between markers. Kind of like musical chairs. Good thing they don't throw you out at that point.

Finally, for Florida residents, the deal right now is astounding. For the price of a one day ticket, residents can return to the parks for free as often as they like, right up to Dec. 24. Truly, this is amazing, considering Disney isn't even selling annual passes right now. This is the cheapest deal you'll find to visit parks and with the offerings at Universal, is a pretty good option.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it s too expensive for what you get. The park is tiny compared to Disney Parks. I would say it may be smaller than Hollywood Studios. The rides are nice for children. The mummy ride was dope. I got here when it opened at 8am and was done with the park in an hour and a half. I rode everything once, little to no wait time. This was on a Wednesday. The fast & furious ride was the most disappointing thing I ever experienced.

I absolutely love Universal and Islands of Adventure. I wish we got to Volcano Bay but, next time for sure. The prices have increased substantially but that's to be expected a bit. In my opinion, this place blows Disney out of the water. I can't wait for some of the upcoming additions they are making. We lucked out with the crowds and avoided buying Express passes because that with a ticket comes with a hefty price. We would have done it if the lines were ridiculous but luckily, we picked a good time to go. Really miss the Dueling Dragons ride but excited to see what's in store for that plot of land. Nice job, Universal.

Universal Studios is AMAZING! Something for everyone in my family! I love the area for the kids Dr. Seuss park area was so appropriate for my 6 year old. Plus it was so much for her to do in that one area. For my 17 and 18-year-old, the whole part was beyond our imagination. The rides were just unreal. People think Orlando is all about Disney but they are so wrong Universal studios is the place to visit!

Super clean, lots to do. But one thing to mention, if you go with a group of people, don't walk in a horizontal row, you cause traffic flow, and it's a busy place. Lots to do, a lot of fun and they helped us sign up for passholders. Can't wait to come back.

Just wonderful ! So our kids are 11 and 7, and loved every single bit of it! We got the early pass and we were there around 8 am. We walked to the back of the park to do the Harry Potter ride because it was one of the couple rides that were open that early . I highly recommend the early access because we were able to do ALL the rides AND the Harry Potter ride in the park by the end if the day only because we started early. Almost all the rides/shows there are simulated perfectly and are 4D with all the effects. The Jimmy Fallon ride was awesome as were all the others. It was a 100 degrees bit we still loved our day and will go back anytime we can!!

For food, there were no long lines and plenty of options. We still took some sandwiches with us which came in handy and helped save some time. Water and juice bottles were a must for us. Only three rides could use a virtual line in the Universal app but we ended up not using the virtual line and just showed up. But the app was very useful for comparison of the wait times of all rides so we always chose the one with the less wait time if we could. There were also free lockers at several places like one near the Harry Potter ride, one near MIB etc.

Universal Studios is a great destination for all a...

Universal Studios is a great destination for all ages. The themed streets are full of characters for photo ops and seemingly endless shops and eateries. Many rides have restrictions including height and medical conditions. Also beware that you will have to take your hat off for many of the rides.

Universal is decorated nicely for the holidays. Guest services is available to meet all of your needs and answer all your questions. Stroller rental is easy and located just past the entrance inside the park.

If your kids drink milk it is a bit challenging to find so plan accordingly.

Download and use the Universal app to access the interactive map to see wait times and set alerts for wait times for your favorite rides. It works very well to order food as well. This is very helpful for families!

The Curious George area is really fun for younger kids and includes a fun splash park and a huge two-story ball fun zone.

The place it's self was very nice. The customer service is another thing. The people there are rude. The park opened an hour early so that's when I showed up. But became clear real quick that the early open was only for VIP quests. There wasn't anything on the website that showed this. And instead of explaining this to the people the just blocked off every area and had guards (workers) preventing the rest of us from passing the lines. That would have been fine but the way the workers acted towards us was unnecessary. The service once allowed to enjoy the park was no better. The servers at the restaurants were just as rude. This surprised me. My family had a great time despite the rudeness but it was surprising to be treated like this. I normally go every year and this was the first time that I have experienced this. I would go back but not for the people but for the fun.

Universal Florida is our go to vacation destination. This year will be no different in that aspect however we had 9 days booked at one of their resorts that they shut down. We had to find out from news on the internet. They stated they were putting everyone booked at other hotels BUT that was only if you wanted to pay an excessive amount to get a room. The room prices are through the roof at this time.

We recently experienced of the first day Universal was re-opened and subsequently a three night vacation at the AVentura hotel. We really appreciate the fact that Universal went through the trouble of getting their parks and hotels back open! As an annual passholder to both Universal and Disney, I want to share our great experience at the Universal Resort so that people from around the Country will feel comfortable coming back to the parks ASAP. Universal did a great job at getting their rides up and running and they are hotels open. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of with any requests and you could tell that they were happy to be back to work. Great job Universal!!!

Your virtual pass system really need an overhaul. I literally could not ride these rides because even when I could select the rides it wouldn t work.

Update: Their customer service team did a really good job of remedying the problem. They gave us several passes to make up for it. We went back and the park was just as packed as before, there system still did not work, but the passes allowed us to have a better day.

Amazing day here with friends. I wasn t really excited to go but didn t regret it. Better to buy the premium pass to not queue too long for some entertainments. Absolutely mind blowing, totally sensory overload. Super busy, but that's to be expected. The staff cycle people through this park and the ride with amazing efficiently and are firm but polite enough that you don't really mind being told what to do. The Harry Potter attractions (the main reason for our visit) were even better than I could have imagined, I felt like I was actually walking through the wizard world. Definitely will visit again at some point in my life.

I absolutely love the Universal Studios Orlando as much as I loved the one in California. My favourite area is the Harry Potter. I had the Express Ticket to skip all the queues and it was totally worth it. I took the Hogwarts Express to go from one part to another and it was so much fun. All the rides are similar with the park in California and if you have the express pass it is so good and you save so much time.

Always a good time at theme parks!~ Hogwarts was amazing, especially the Hogwarts express going in between Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios! Also, it was fun getting an interactive wand to cast spells all around Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. We were lucky that we didn't have too long of wait times except for the most popular ones.
