Is always a Great place to take the family. There is something for everyone. The Universal Studios side has a lot of Virtual Reality rides. One very crazy fast Roller Coaster. With your choice of music playing while you ride. Lots of games and prizes for all ages.
We went primarily for Harry Potter Land, but enjoyed some of the other attractions as well. We enjoyed the Macy's Christmas Parade as well as some of the rides and eneltertainers.
Universal Studios is always a lot of fun. Eight now with covid restrictions they're doing a bang-up job keeping everyone safe. From the marked off lines to the specing on the rides and the hand sanitizer before getting on each ride. The team members are doing fantastic to keep the guests coming back for more. Yes, the hours are less, the capacity filled this weekend and not everything is open yet, but they're doing great for what they can.
I m not a Harry Potter fan but that section of the park was neat. Our kids enjoyed the entire experience.
We had a blast, fun for all ages. Next trip we will do the islands of adventure. Memories waiting to be made!

Yes it can be a little expensive, but god is it ever worth it! Even as a grown man you can feel like a kid again.

Stunning theme park! There are many different zones inspired in movies with a great atmosphere. People of all ages can enjoy it. It can be very crowded in summer so buy various days tickets is a must if you go during the busiest months. At Universal there is so much to see that in a given moment you will probably forget about the rides. % recommended.
A lot of 3D and 4D rides but not many coasters. Also very much maskholes. They make you use hand sanitizer at every ride and have surveillance everywhere to make sure you are wear your mask and not wiping the sanitizer off but when it comes to social distancing they are lacking. I don't mind it though because I think they are over doing everything.
The demographic of teen age college age will LOVE this. But, you can find something for anyone too.
Had a great time. Park opens at 8 AM. Enjoyed the shows and all the rides. Great way to spend time with the family. There is a lot to do.
Great rides, love that each one has the staff for it dressed to theme.
The "single riders" line is amazing since it's used to fill the empty spots in the carts left by bigger parties and gets gets you through the line in minutes. Just don't expect to be seated around whoever you came with.

Cool rides. However, it was too expensive for what it was. And the customer service was the worst. Teens that clearly had somewhere better to be. So happy I did a one day pass to get a feel for it, cause I was getting ready to drop money for a week long experience with the family and now thanks to this, I wont be waisting that money.
This is one of my favorite places on earth! I feel like such a happy kid whenever I'm there. Recently I got to see their holiday parade and it was so much fun. I'm an annual pass holder and it's been worth every penny so far.
They handle covid precautions WONDERFULLY. They have sanitizer everywhere, even TMs have sanitizer throughout rides. Everyone is friendly and talks about social distancing and wear mask properly with kindness. I've been back twice and already plan to return again next weekend ..... with the kids too
Everything was great. Had some hiccups along the way, Emily at customer service was amazing. Our 1st time there and will definitely be back. Great rides and very good policies for Covid. Everything was extra clean and even when busy still time to do a lot. Bourne Stunt show is AMAZING!!! One of the top 3 things we did.

Best theme park I visted in Florida last year. Would definitely recommend getting the fast track passes. They are quite expensive but well worth it as you can beat the really long queues. You will end up queuing for the really popular rides but the lines will still move way quicker. You should also get the pass that allows you to switch between the two parks so you get to see everything. I thought the Harry Potter rides and areas were particularly amazing but there is lots to do for everyone regardless of your interests.
It s universal! What can I say that s negative?! There are so many rides and venues to chose from and I always have a blast whenever I go. However, the lines can get a bit long so I recommend getting the fast passes. They are around $100 but it s 100% worth it in my opinion. Some hotels with even give you the fast passes for free! It s definitely one of the best theme parks in the nation!!!
One of the top reasons people visit Florida (seriously). This park has massive roller coasters (The Hulk and Rock it are personal favorites). Lots of "little" thematic areas like the Simpsons and Harry Potter's Diagon Alley and Howard's (You really feel like you are part of the movies, so, potter heads you must visit this place). Overall this place is amazing, sure there is fun for all the family, but I think teenagers and young adults will enjoy even more. As of right now I am an annual passholder, so I can tell you it is really worth it.
Super hot...lines long! Aren't we in a pandemic? What are ALL these people doing here?!? We left by 12pm and hung out by the hotel pool. Less people and much cooler.
I am a Florida resident and have been to Universal 10 or so times. My daughter and i decided to take a day trip. We were a little nervous about the current situation. Dont be. The staff was great, the park is very clean. Plenty of distance between people. We had a great time.
Highly recommended if you enjoy how movies are made and what happens behind the scenes. Even as an adult, it brings a set of child-like emotions with all the nostalgia with the attractions, shows and rides. Note, these were taken pre-COVID!
Our family was visiting from North Carolina and we truly enjoyed our visit half of my family came to Universal studios and the other half went to Disney world we all had soooooooo much fun it was truly amazing and we are already planning our next visit to come back for the Holidays really looking forward for the next visit
I can't wait to come back! The rides here are seriously from the future! I loved all of the themes and all of the heart they put into everything. Even the stores were really cool. It's my dream to go here on my honeymoon. Yes. You heard me right. This is the most fun place on Earth! It's truly different from Disney. I would say the rides are better. Here as an adult you feel like you have more to do and it's seriously just a blast. If my boyfriend wants to marry me he will just have to accept the fact that this is where we'll be having our honeymoon.
Came down on a sister's trip. We had a blast! The rides are great and crowds were quite manageable in February. Diagon Alley is a must for Potter fans. The details throughout the entire park are incredible! Great for families or groups of friends.
Universal studios is amazing. If your looking for a little more thrill than Disney for the bigger little ones Universal is the place to go. Rides that feature a little more action and for the fan of scariness Halloween Horror nights is the best. Universal is right up there as one of my favorite theme parks. Great place to go on a date for a day and the tickets are fairly affordable. The Harry Potter and The Simpsons portions of the park are probably the best in my opinion. My girlfriend and I also really enjoyed the Popeye water raft ride. I can't wait to go back and spend more time here.
There is no reason to go anywhere else (other than Islands of Adventure)!!! We love this place!
I spend perfect time. Very good park perfect attractions perfect ambiance perfect movie studios My words not enough to tell this place better I recommend everyone to there. One day is not enough minimum 2 or 3 day you must stay there and see all in the park.
They make you wait in line an hour to be told you have to leave they re at capacity. Great job guys
I really didn't want to give a one star review, but I had to because there was a technological glitch at one of the locker stations that resulted in strangers gaining access to my items even though the locker was locked and the items were not in the locker for longer than the rental period. I was very lucky my items were turned into the lost and found instead of being stolen (I also commend the supervisor who gave them back to me). Needless to say that's not okay.
Very nice place, the crew members make you feel pretty welcomed, the food is also pretty good as well, definitely will be coming here a lot!
Great fun but truthfully everything is so over priced. If you're eating there plan on spending 100.00 per person on simple foods like a slice of pizza. The bathrooms were kept clean and the people were helpful which I am grateful for.
Universal is a great place to go with family and friends. If you are looking for more simulated rides, I would suggest universal. But if you like more roller coasters, islands of adventure is the place to go. Very expensive, usually $100 per person
My favorite park in the world. My experience here was nothing short of spectacular. The rides, the attractions, and the people were all out of this world. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is magical. It s literally a world full of magic and wonders. I can t wait to go back. You should def take the train between the parks there for a taste of Harry Potter too.
Staff at Universal is doing a great job with safety and social distancing. They politely remind visitors of masks and spacing.
Awesome place... It has plenty of activities and Rides, tons of food courts, so variety for all tastes. You can eat "Simpson style" . The rides are for all ages so even small kids will have fun. A big issue is to plan your trip and the rides un advance so you can visit as many amenities as possible.and if theres a slight chance of rain make sure to bring a poncho as Florida weather is vrazy sometimes.
It's the Walmart version of Disneyland. To reserve a virtual time at some rides then to have to wait an hour once you get there is ridiculous. Shortest times on any ride was 45 min for kiddie rides.
I always enjoy Universal. Even tho it was freezing last night everyone was super friendly and helped in any way they could to make our night great! Thank you Universal Studios and all your staff.
Love coming to Universal! My favorite part is of course The Wizading World of Harry Potter. Both sides are absolutely amazing! Both the Gringotts and Hogwarts Castle ride are fabulous. You will need a park hopper pass to use the Hogwarts Express to travel between the two parks. I highly reccomend doing these rides first thing in the morning and at night as these will be the times when the wait is the least. The light show on Hogwarts castle is great but only about 5 minutes long. This also unfortunately occurs at the same time as the water show at the other park. Also be careful when entering the address into the GPS because it will most likely try to take you to an employee parking lot.
It s a nice place. It s very kid friendly and the views you get are nice. The rides here are for the experience not the thrill. The food is very expensive. But nice place place

I purchase 4 one day two parks every year for universal, and have done so for the past several years. I've also visited their Volcan Bay Park several times as well, and even attended Halloween Horror Nights a few times. However, this year I wasn't able to utilize my tickets before they expired in lue of the pandemic which closed the park for several months. I tried to extend the tickets due to the current pandemic situation, and the park refuses to do so wasting hundreds of dollars of my hard earned money. Guest services basically told me to kick rocks after debating back and forth over these circumstances. I'm completely disappointed and disgusted with the lack of compassion and understanding displayed by universal, and will never return to any of their theme parks again. They have lost a loyal and consistent customer for life.
Awesome trip to universal. It is pretty pricey for admission, and I hate that the fast pass is almost required or else you wait in line the whole day for each ride and barely have enough hours to get to every coaster. Even then you will have to pick which rides you want. Overall great visit and park was clean, staff was kind and very generous. Definitely go for more than 1 day if you can.
Diagon Alley is the place to immerse yourself into Harry Potter. Park officials try to stay on top off distancing and face mask. Rip Rockin Rollercoaster is rocking
Super fun and the park team members are handling the whole COVID situation very well. We were required to wear our masks through the entirety of the day unless eating or drinking.
Had a great time. Went as an adult without children to a private event. Food drink and rides were great. Would recommend even going if you had no kids and visited the area. Will be back for a regular day of fun with family in tow. Favorite food was ice cream parlor in Harry Potter land, favorite ride was the Jurassic Park ride, loved ET it brought back memories from going to universal as child 27 years ago!
We recently celebrated 2 birthdays on the same trip to universal and we had an amazing time we got on as many rides as we could which were all great and everyone was so nice but hands down the best service we ever got provided by anyone in any theme park which I ve ever been to was Erick at the time he worked at mels drive in restaurant I swear he is like the embodiment of universal studios best personality great customer service and in my opinion he is a better shaggy for scooby doo than shaggy himself I m writing this review in hopes he gets recognized for his talent and ability to spread a few smiles

We spent over $700 on tickets and parking today to celebrate two family birthdays. We greatly appreciated the six feet away social distancing while waiting in lines and all the hand sanitizer available for visitors. Unfortunately, we had several bad experiences with many of the cast members who refused to help us. First of all, since when do express passes sell out?! In addition, when we pay this much money for theme parks, we expect access to all the rides. But due to the new virtual ride system, we were unable to ride several of the new rides. All four members of our party spent hours in the heat refreshing the Universal app to get virtual line access only to be denied. We waited until the park was almost closing and all the lines were completely empty and asked to get in line, only for the incredibly rude teenage employees to refuse us access. As Florida residents who have been coming to these theme parks for years, we were thoroughly unimpressed and probably won t be utilizing the unlimited visits for the rest of the year .
Please be careful if you are planning to visit during pandemic. Staffs were so unprofessional and they don t care where people come from. They have limited capacity so if you are planning to visit and buy tickets up front they won t let you do that. They don t care they will straight tell you to go back it doesn t matter where you came from. There s no such a information on website that if you can t buy ticket front gate anymore and they only let go people who bought tickets from online. I usually buy tickets from online but this I didn t because of unpredictable weather.
i had a really fun time but the only downside of the park is Harry Potter i went and i was so excited i drove 10 hours to go. To see the dragon but we waited 45 minutes and it never breathed fire also the people there were very rude while i was trying to take a video they said you need to move you can t be blocking the way very upset.
I love this place and you will love it too there's no place like Universal.
They have a lot of cool rides here. I would not suggest bringing small children; the rides are pretty intense.
We love Universal Studios, I remember it before Islands of Adventure. We went that summer, and have gone many times over the years. My kids have grown up going to Universal Studios we love it.
More family friendly than Disney. Characters are way more interactive then any of the Disney characters. Employees are super friendly and super helpful. The lines do have things for the children to do. Videos to watch. Pop quizzes. Makes the wait seem less. Stricter on line jumping. Entering the park was simple with small kids. Children did not have to be fingerprinted ( Disney required this and it never worked for our youngest child) so the lines moved quickly . The characters arrive with flair in small parades and then take photos with your kids. Lots of areas to sit if you want. Threw beads from the Mardi Gras floats and it seemed everyone that wanted one got one. We had extras and could not find any kids to give them to. Bathroom lines were reasonable unlike Disney where my kid asked if there was a fast pass for bathrooms. Overall universal was a great experience that I would do again
This park was fun. Lots of rides most are virtual and well done. This park has plenty to see and do. We went early and the lines were not to bad.
I have only seen videos of this place and I really want to go but me and my parents don't have the money to go. If the owner sees this, could you please let me and my family have one free trip to Universal studios for my birthday? My birthday is November 2 and I really want to go for the week of my birthday. All seven days if it's possible.
This is an amazing theme park. I cannot even begin to imagine the money and time that was put into creating the amazing environmental and atmosphere that universal creates. My favorite area is Hogwarts. The Harry Potter rides and areas are amazing and were built with such attention to detail.
Keep in mind, this is a theme park. A good one at that. That being said, the wait times for rides and attractions are ridiculously long. You could easily wait 2-3 hours to ride a 2 minute ride. Spend the extra money and get fast passes. Your experience will be much better for it.
Fast pass buy a must. Expensive but worth the line skipping and no wait.
Iconic park for the area, good food, good rides worth the trip to go out and see. You can stay on the property or there is plenty of hotels outside the park with free busses traveling in and out of the park all day. Great place to go if traveling in large groups or 1 other person they have something for everyone.
It was super hot ..wearing face mask made it super hotter..several places weren't open...and staff all just didn't have any cares of guest..disappointed..
Excellent excellent excellent place to go with friends and family. There is stuff to do and things to see for all ages. I recommend staying on one of their many onsite hotels. It makes the days a lot easier. Also, you need at least 2 days to enjoy everything or 3 days if you re going to do the water park too. Highly recommend you going here at least once! You won t regret it. Harry Potter section is the best.
I love Universal!! The rides are great for older kids and adults. We enjoyed staying on property and having the extra hours!! You should purchase the photo package, it was a lot of fun!
My husband and I are pass holders we try to convince everyone to come here. We spend 1500 on just the passes. We stay at the resorts 3 times a year, for 5-12 days at a time..... we Got married here!!! Never had a problem until we brought my mother who is handicapped. HANDICAPPED!! The process we had to go through to get a wheel chair for her was not acceptable. DONT EXPECT to get a wheelchair from the hotel/ city walk/ parks for your convenience. Getting a chair from the hotel to go to city walk is a lot of work BE AWARE.

Has a huge Harry Potter section. And it s truly magical! Once you go through the gate, you re in a whole new world with magic, dragons and what not.
Best rides: Transformers, the Mummy, Harry Potter.

Very strict with masks and hand sanitizer. It gets HOT!! don't forget to hydrate, comfy shoes and a hat! Mummy's ride is always packed but I recommend!
It is already so difficult to bring yourself to go to a public place with so many people in one place. The challenge I had today was the non-compliance of mask wearing by some patrons and the lack of authority by park employees to ask them to comply. So, ya know those people who wear their mask as a chin strap? Yeah, those are the people you will be standing next to in line. Politely ask for them to wear their mask and brace yourself for a drunken tirade.
All Im asking for is more enforcement from Universal Studios (like the enforcement you hear about at Disney).
Love universal and IOA but hope the mask thing soon to be in the past fingers CROSSED
I visited the park after hours for a work event and had the time of my life. The Mummy, Transformers and Jimmy Fallon rides were great. I also enjoyed the Blues Brothers.
What a superb place. I love going to Florida and this is one of the major highlights for me. The parks are huge with so much to offer from Harry Potter to Jurassic Park and Marvel too. There s rides for all ages here. All the food and drink we had whilst visiting the park was just as good as you d expect park food to be. I can t wait to go back in the future to see the new expansions taking place.

I always like going to the theme parks, especially Universal Studios Florida. Disney is great and all, but Universal is a bit more adult friendly. There's better coasters, more alcohol, and less walking. In addition, Universal Studios Florida is cheaper and they have Harry Potter! Halloween Horror Nights is way better than Disney's Halloween version as well. Definitely check out Universal Studios Florida for a great KoalaTea time! He he!

Great place other than the lines. Good variety of shows and rides. Mummy and RIP ride are the best. Fast and furious is disappointing. It is way past time to replace the fear factor show.
We were at Universal studios and island of adventure today. I was impressed with both parks covid policies. There were social distancing signs and measurements, every park person I saw was properly wearing masks and regularly requesting non compliant guests to properly wear masks. There were a few places. Harry Potter areas, that there was no way to social distance with the numbers in common areas. I dont know what you could do about that but limite ticket sales. I would have liked more hand sanatizer stations in common areas and later hours. We prefer to go later in the day. All in all. Its been great

Early entrance doesn't mean you can get to the attractions, you need Express Pass. So why do you get "early" to a park you can ride attractions?
"The park next door" treats families with children with disabilities as special guests. They look forward you have the time of your life.
In Universal, you need to pay to have that advantage.
My friends and I had a great time here! We took a lot of cool pictures! Not a Harry Potter fans but I do like the Harry Potter zone! My friends bought some wands and I tried the butter beer. Also, I finally see the dragon blew the fire hahah! Anyway, it was hot but it s really a good place to go with friends and family.

Love it here. There is something for everyone. Its a wonderful family day out. The food is better at Universal when compared to Disney and they also offer a refillable drink option. The entertainment is great and so are the rides and simulators. We love Harry Potter so always spend a lot of time there - my kids love watching the dragon and going to Olivanders, gringotts bank ride is great too. Other favourites include men in black, the simpsons, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. My son loved Curious George's water section and barney and we rode the simpsons alien ride over 10 times! There is literally something for everyone.
Amazing experience for all family. However, if you are an expecting mother or someone with a heart disease, no need to go because you'll not be allowed to all attractions. Express pass is a must if you want to avoid long waiting on each attraction. Unfortunately that pass costs as much as the admission ticket. Food and drinks are available with different cuisines. Parking costs 25 US dollars for each vehicle. All in all, great place.
Not as big as the other big amusement park franchise here in Orlando, but it is my favorite. Lots of fun stuff that you can't do anywhere else, especially Harry Potter world, which is immersive and has great rides.
Got to give it huge kudos for being open during these times so that people can have a life and get out of their home. Have been fortunate enough to take the family here a number of times whether living nearby or across the country. It definitely takes the butt of universal California.

I love this place! Went labor day weekend and it was crowded than expected but very well organized.
Tons of stuff to do. Get season passes and show up early if you can. Too much to do in one day unless maybe you get express pass. Download their app and remember to show season pass for discounts at most places. Also its hot in florida so keep track of easy to get to refill stations. They are invaluable.
How I can describe this. I BLOODY can't! I've gotta say for a teen like myself I honestly think this is utterly extraordinary for everyone. The way it's presented it blows me away. I've just started my holiday here for 4 weeks. 2 in Universal and 2 in Disneyland. I want to say well done to all the people who put their efforts in making it impossible to describe. The staff there are extremely friendly. The food? To die for. The rides? AMAZING. The entire park? A PHENOMENAM. This is what I call hard work and dedication into making this a virtual wonderland. To everyone who works at Universal Studios, I can't say THANK YOU ENOUGH!! WELL DONE GUYS!
Fantastic time spent at Universal Studios, great memories made. We have an autistic daughter which can be challenging at times. But all the staff went above and beyond to assist our family, from guest services to the staff on the rides,which made our time there special. Big thank you to a Lee from Seattle and a Brittany from the Fast Furious, who gave us the extra special treatment, and where superstars with my daughter. Hopefully return again one day. A lot of fun, perfect place to go with family, it s better to book way in advance, be organized, parking are not free of charge, choose a hotel which is a universal partner so you can get the shuttle bus, bring water bottle with you, fast pass is good in the high season, but i hate it, fast pass is a kind of discrimination, everyone should be equal, why don t you have just a flat rate, even if it s higher. Food little pricy inside, it s always sunny in Florida, stay hydrated, bring your sun cream, sunglasses, and more water, enjoy the ice cream.
