Amazing Kids Parties ran a fantastic birthday party for our daughter. Our 7 year old was thrilled to be pampered with her friends and Janet was lovely and so great with the girls. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services and staff was really kind and helpful at Ultima Function Centre.
Lovely staff, food and beautiful venue. I attended an engagement party back in February. I'm very happy with how the venue looks like now and you can see there is more renovations still to be done and very excited for the outcome.
The good thing about this venue is plenty of parking, separate entrances and you get the privacy.
My experience at Ultima has been pleasant and I am most definitely recommending, once restrictions are eased most keen to host a family night.
We would rate ultima reception center as one of the best Wedding venues of Melbourne ,totally based on our experience of hosting 2 functions .The top three key factors which we loved and after doing comparison in the market that the staff were very Warm , its renovated and very reasonable priced . I would say its a venue with all whistles and bells but still is a budget .
We hosted the event here on 2.Feb .2020 and we were just over 500 guests and everything was more than a flawless . I just wanted to thank all the staff on the perfect wedding and reception for my son and his new wife. Everything was perfect! All our family and friends complemented on the great food, service and how organized everything was. I would highly recommend this venue!
We recently used Ultima Receptions for a Wake and felt it was quite perfect. The room was lovely and light, staff friendly but not obtrusive, and the food, including the gluten free options, tasty and plentiful. Organising everything was very easily done through George. I would highly recommend Ultima.
Iv been at ultima few years back and attending my friends wedding few weeks back wow what a incredible difference.
Venue is look fresh, sharp and wonderful vibe wonderful food and a massive thank you to Stella and her team they were very approachable and they were happy to accommodate on last min changes.

Recent upgrades are making this venue bringing back to its original glory of being Numero Uno!
The venue is centrally located and easily accessible from anywhere due to close proximity to the airport.
Rooms are generously sized and there is plenty of parking, there are plenty of choices for suppliers serving the venue.

This venue was a recommendation through a very close friend for my brother s reception and after a close look, we would have never backed out. This place just possessed so many pros that we were amazed at what all it had to offer; from spacious rooms, decor (recent renos have uplifted the place), spacious parking, close proximity to airport, Hume Freeway etc. and the list just goes on.
Jimmy is an amazing host and we don t have words to describe how friendly and kind hearted he is. The journey that we were on with him right until after the event is truly remarkable in nature as he not only took our event seriously but helped us stay on track for our special event with inclusions to budget, decor, arrangements etc. He also went above and beyond his job description to organise a few suppliers as per our requirements.
Jimmy has an amazing team of chefs and staff that are friendly, cooperative and stay focussed with their communication. Not to forget the exceptional mouth watering food that was presented for the evening. Jimmy had promised us to serve our Indian cuisine menu but with a twist and he sure did live up to the mark. So, thank you for doing that as it really got our guests talking and they will be doing that for a long time (shout out to Stella who was also managing the evening that night).
Looking forward to hosting many more events in the near future, highly recommend.

We have had a couple of event shows at Ultima, food was always great, service was great and the staff always went above and beyond for us. Kim and Stella were amazing to deal with and we look forward to coming back for another event!

I've just been reading about the backlash you received to the screening of the film Red Pill. I just want to say congratulations and admire your steadfastness. I am posting this to show solidarity with you and your family. Good luck but remember, they are just idiots.
I commend the Ultima Function Centre for their courage and steadfastness in the face of outlandish and irrational backlash. An organisation with such a high level of honour and integrity is bound, by nature, to do its utmost to provide the best possible service to all its customers. Thus, I will recommend Ultima willingly to one and all in the future.
Very Very disappointed with the way we were Treated. We had our daughter's wedding planned here. The manager Mr. George was really rude, non cooperative and was not ready to wok with the us. We had difficult time asking the staff to help us.
Got a bill for the drinks which does not have any particulars as to how many bottles of wine or how many bottles of beer. Just a $ value to pay.
Will surely not recommend this place to any of our friends and family.
Unfortunately had a poor experience here.
The place is in major need of a facelift(perhaps even just a great cost of paint,) and has been left largely original with damaged fittings, dirty walls. However it has its advantages as the ballroom as has a nice dual layer table set up so everyone can see the dance floor.
The food was a larger let down, we didn't get sick or anything but we didn't enjoy it. For the the price I know our hosts paid there are other tried and proven receptions in the area.
Time to put a bit of money into this tired old bird and bring her back to life.

It Was a best decision to choose Ultima Function centre keilor park venue and catering from Tandoori flames.Venue was beautifully decorated so everyone likes it andJimmy veer organised the party very well as we have special requirements of strictly vegetarian food. The staff was awesome and served the meals to everyone on their tables without any delay. Presentation of the food was mesmerised and taste was so delicious. Myself and my wife are thankful to Jimmy veer and his team who made our big day so special with their great efforts.

Celebrated a 21st birthday in the Glass house hall. Ultima Function Centre is the epitome of food quality and service. Have visited various other venues in the past however nothing comes as close as Ultima with Jimmy's management skills. Everyone that had experienced the venue's aura that night, to this day they compliment it .
Great location and inside is very convenient and large. Fit for weddings, gatherings, ceremonies and cultural traditions. Very grand place. People enjoy being here with awesome customer service and you're treated very well there. Easy to book a room and ask questions since they're very nice and are open to answer all of your questions. They deserve all five stars in my books.

Great place with plenty of parking. Prices are excellent and they are very accommodating with your preferences. Only negative was the in house photographer who peddled $10 prints even though we had a photographer.
Had my baby's Christening and 1st bday here. Perfection is another word for Ultima Function centre. From customer service to delivery everything was top level. The owner Jimmy ensures he met every one of our expectations if anything much more. Did not have any dissatisfaction at any point of time. The best reception venue I have seen so far especially with their services and what they offered. Their food was beyond words. Absolutely amaazing. It was worth every penny. Our guests are still speaking about the function. It's not just a venue, guests went back with an experience. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in March. We were very disappointed with the service that Ultima provided.
They misplaced our bonbonnieres for the bridal party and I had to ask them multiple times to find them and place them on the table.
The food was served randomly, some tables didn t get enough, if any. Our total guest numbers were less than what we had told Ultima we were expecting, so they should have had more than enough food.
They were out of some soft drinks and juices at the start of the evening around 6.30pm.
Guests were being told to pay for drinks at the bar which was supposed to be included in what we had paid for.
Guests got told by wait staff to get their own cutlery from the kitchen.
Meals were served late.
Upon my arrival, the manager told me how stressed out she was about our function and that she had a few staff that had called in sick. Why would you say that to the bride?!
Dessert wasn t served til 11pm and our wedding cake was not cut and served at all.
We asked for our wedding cake to be packed so we could take it with us. They gave us a bag full of foam tiers with no actual cake, which we did not realise until after we got home. To this day, we still have no idea what happened to our cake.
Following this disastrous evening, my father in law contacted the owner of Ultima via phone and email multiple times to discuss our disappointment. It s been 5 months and the owner still has not returned any correspondence to my father in law.
I would not recommend Ultima to anyone!

Had my wedding here in February 2020. Lucky bride who made it before covid. We were surprised how venue has turned out the time we booked to time we got it . COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION. Everything was perfect! Kim & Ruby were very helpful through the whole process. The venue is GORGEOUS!!!! It completely fits my romantic theme. An Absolutely stunning venue everyone was very impressed with. HIGHLY recommended .
Very nice establishment. The setting is spacious enough that you don't have someone's elbow in your food, but small enough to lend some intimacy to your occasion. The staff are friendly and efficient, but the food was mildly disappointing - the chicken was dry and the dessert looked better than it tasted but edible nonetheless.

They didnt even stink like a public toilet which are ferral enough...the stench was so intense every single guest was warning every single other guest bout the smell

This was the first venue we chose to check out when deciding on a wedding venue. After meeting Jimmy seeing the venue we knew we didn't need to look elsewhere. All the staff were beautiful warm people who were so amazingly kind and sweet throughout the whole planning process. Our wedding day was made perfect with every vision we had executed amazingly. The staff were so professional, friendly and attentive. The food was perfect and the venue looked stunning.
Biggest thanks to Jimmy and the team for their assistance and efforts in making our wedding reception a memorable one. The waiting staff were on the ball. Had a birthday celebration here which went beyond all our expectations. The decorations were elegent, table service was well organised and ambience was just perfect. Jimmy and his team certainly made it an event to remember, would highly recomnend.

Had my wedding in November 2020. Only 150 people allow because of COVID-19. We have to follow so many rules, such as hand sanitising all the time, temperature check, wearing mask, no sacking hand and etc. However, with the help of the staff members from the Altima Function and especially Kim, everything was perfect. The venue is GORGEOUS!!!! The food is very nice HIGHLY recommended .

Called in three days prior to event to explain dietary restrictions of dairy and onion. Didn't want a fuss made but those ingredients left out. Obviously an inconvenience to the grumpy old man I spoke to. One the day served food covered in both dairy and onion which could have easily been avoided if they cared. Lucky for them I wasn't anaphylatic but still ended up very sick. Karma awaits...

From the day we enquired about booking our Wedding Reception, until the moment it was time for bed on the day. Nothing was ever too much for ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. We couldn t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. Ultima was the first venue that we viewed, and we left with such excitement knowing that it was the venue that we wanted to have our Reception at; It really did exceed all exceptions of how the venue looked on the day, and how the day came together.
All of our guests had a wonderful time and couldn t praise the venue enough.
The food was People still talk about how delicious the food was, cooked to an absolute perfection, presentation was at the peak and most importantly the taste, it was mind blowing. Thank you to you and your team for the most perfect day.

Probably back in the 80s was a hit, but place looks very tired and in need of a facelift!
Was not delivered what was promised on our special day. Promised the world but delivered very little. Tables didnt get their food, they forgot to turn on ballroom chandelier, they ran out of softdrinks early into the night for a wedding! They charge money for alchol we paid for as apart of the function to our guests, they nissed mutiple tavles getting their food,tables who got their food complained it was cold. After the night i tried to reach out to the owner Jimmy, he dodged my calls for weeks and never called back, didnt have that problem while organising the wedding ofcorse. Do yourselves a farvor and avoid at all costs!!!!
One of the worst place to ever go for a reception. Nothing against the service or food but the chairs are just horrible to sit on. My very expensive dress got ripped due to the terrible quality of the chairs and i found out that other people s outfits were ripped as well. Never ever going there for sure. If you are planning to use this venue please think about your guests before booking.
We had our little one's first at Ultima Function Ctr at the beginning of June 2019. Jimmy was cooperative throughout, food was great and presentation was impeccable. Highly recommended

Jimmy and Kim are the great hosts. One of the best you can get in the industry. The new transformation to this old gem has bought such a massive difference to this venue that now it is more in upmarket space and absolutely beautiful. Food is top notch and there are great variety of options.
Literally ruined the wedding.
After organising almost everything for the wedding, we get a phone call from reception saying they've accidentally booked someone else in for our date. We've had to cancel/postpone everything for a further 3 months.

Lovely reception centre. The staff were very good as was the service. The only shame was having to pay for wine that no-one drank but we couldn't take with us despite being charged for it.

Ultima Reception was 1st class both from a service and food quality perspective during my fathers recent wake. Everything organised and promised was delivered by Kim /Stella and indeed by the entire Ultima Reception team without a hitch .It was pure precision without any stress.

We had our Bub's first birthday celebration at Ultima function centre last week. We can't thank Jimmy enough for organizing everything. He was supportive throughout the planning process, highly responsive to all our queries and gave us his valuable suggestions. Coming out of Covid restrictions, it was quite hard to find a venue, however with Ultima all our requirements were full filled under one roof including photographer, decorations, food and we had an amazing party. Staff is warm, welcoming, and my guest can't stop talking about amazing food service. My guests were so happy with everything that one of them ended up organizing another party at the same venue. Special thanks to Jimmy, Geri, Stella, Inder and all the support staff.
