Having stayed with many property management companies over the years, I can say with confidence TVR is an exceptionally well run operation that clearly cares about us as guests.
The house (The Doc House) was very clean and well maintained. The check in process was simple and check out process even better. The house was well appointed and the staff was super helpful and nice. Great company with great properties

We have been using Tybee Vacation Rental for years and will continue to do so in the future. Many of the properties my family have tried have keypad entries which make for easy check in and check out process. On the rare occasion we found a maintenance issue, they were quick to respond. Using my cell phone to check out with one click on a text TVR sent, helps them get units ready quickly for the next person coming in. Thanks!

Who I go thru for renting a place to stay every time I visit Savannah and/or Tybee Beach. They are The experts in the area and never let you down!

Home was perfect for our Troop of girls to stay and enjoy Savannah and the island. Was well-appointed for our group, plenty of towels, sheets, spare blankets and pillows, closet space, and just space in general to sprawl. Lovely yard with all sorts of fruit trees and critters and landscaping, shade, screened porch, green house, fire pit, boat house, outdoor seating and table space, gas grill, boat dock. Almost every bedroom had a TV and even its own entry door. 2 KITCHENS made cooking a breeze to cut our eat out budget. 2 living rooms-plenty of place to sprawl for the girls to have afternoon quiet time. 3 baths with showers+the outdoor one made getting everyone ready a time-saving endeavor. I almost don't want to post for fear of the secret of our little hideaway spot getting out! LOL

We had a wonderful 3-day get-away. Worth mentioning are the following: 1) Tybee Island is very nice, with great seafood places, some with water views and live music; 2) the 1-BR condo that we rented was wonderful - oceanfront with amazing views, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean; 3) sitting on the balcony, watching the huge tankers and smaller boats going by (we found a website that gave us the details for each tanker); 4) Tybee Post Theater - very cool; 5) last, but certainly not least, working with Tybee Vacation Rentals - everyone I dealt with was patient, polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would give them 5 stars but there's always room for improvement. The condo that we had was VERY clean and well furnished; from the bedding to the utensils. The necessary items; soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry products, etc. were appreciated.
We felt extremely welcomed and were not burdened by the staff in the least. It was as if it was our home and we were able to totally relax in the carefree environment.

We rented a 5BR/3BA house in Savannah's historic district next to Forsythe Park to accommodate family traveling for my son's wedding. It was so nice having separate living areas and kitchens in both upstairs and downstairs so that everyone could spread out and do their own thing. All the beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and extra linens for the pull out sofas which we did not need after all. There was a nice variety of bedroom sizes and bed sizes to match the guests with. We were there 4 days after a major hurricane hit Savannah and Tybee Island and the response time for clean up was phenomenal. Thankfully the property was undamaged and was perfectly cleaned inside and out. Tybee Vacation Rentals is the best. They completely made a stressful time so much better. The house is situated right on Forsythe Park which was nice to walk along and enjoy the outdoors. There is a coffee shop within a block and a grocery nearby. Three blocks away is 700 Drayton, a restaurant with a rooftop bar overlooking the park. It has a ecclectic, bohemian vibe with fantastic cocktails and food. Only a 15 minute walk to River Street or a $5 Uber. One of the smoke alarm batteries needed replacing and was periodically beeping. We couldn't reach it due to the height of the ceiling, but the property manager sent someone out right away and got it taken care of. All our guests were amazed at how beautiful the home is. I would definitely do this again. A++

We vacationed in Tybee July 2017. We booked a rental through this agency & were given specific check in instructions. Check in was at 4 pm. When we arrived at 4, the parking lot was literally like bumper cars. I went inside & was told my unit wasn't ready. After a 3 hr ride, that wasn't what I wanted to hear. The unit wasn't ready for another hour. When we arrived, we couldn't get in the unit. I had to call the "emergency" number & finally gained access. We were given 1 key for 5 people until the next day. The lock was changed out: on the second night (Sunday) we had a terrible storm. 2 of the 3 lights in the bathroom went out & the exhaust fan stopped working. I called first thing Monday morning, & the bulbs were not replaced until late Tuesday afternoon. I was assured the fan would be replaced Tuesday, but it was never fixed. We paid a lot of money to stay here, & certainly didn't get what we paid for by a long shot. This agency talks a good game & says all the right things but they definitely don't perform.

Will ruin your stay by nickel and diming basic amenities. For example, if you are staying 5 nights, expect to receive 5 coffee filters, no sugar, cooking oil, 1 ply toilet paper and paper towels, no cleaning supplies, no hand soap, one single use detergent, no extra blankets etc.

BUYER BEWARE! This company will cheat you out of money without thinking about it. This whole pandemic thing has thrown a wrench in everyone s plans, I get it. That said, I took the extra step of ensuring I would be refunded if I had to cancel. I read the contract, I ll gladly share it with anyone ahead of time, and there was no mention of any fees if cancellation and rebooking was obtained during a certain time. I cancelled, they rebooked, and then charged me a cancellation fee. Even though the
contract does not mention a standard cancellation fee as being applicable to my dates. It states it as being applicable to other dates but there is no mention of it, in any section, for the dates my trip was booked. Their website has no mention of it. Basically, they are practicing deceptive marketing, lying, or failing to honor a signed contract. Either way, I d refrain from doing business with them if possible. I ve reported them to the Better Business Bureau, I don t think it will matter, but as a consumer, you re pretty limited when a company wants to steal $175 from you.

Check in and out process was fast and convenient. TVR contacted us after we left to say we had left behind a camera and offered to ship it. This honesty and level of service is rare and appreciated!

TVR makes us feel like we are their only home owners! Very responsive and thoughtful. Their treat our home as it is theirs.

We had a last minute change because the unit on the South side of the island had a problem with the AC. We were relocated to the North side of the island to a similar unit. So glad we got this unit! It was a short walk to the North side beaches which are quieter and much more to our liking. The south side is fun with lots of activity but we found the north side to be so quiet and pleasant. The island is only 3 miles across so getting to the south side or Savannah was very easy. My only criticism is that they do not provide beach towels or chairs. This would be a much welcome amenity as we were coming in from the West coast and beach towels take up a lot of room in a suitcase. Otherwise it was perfect. Would definitely rent with Tybee Vacation Rentals again.

I am so glad I found them! This is a awesome rental company, and everyone I either spoke to or talk to in person was very sweet and polite. I will rent from them again for sure!

Easy to use. Rented out two houses. I was in charge of planning a family reunion, we needed two large places, close together, for only 5 nights and allowed pets. Tybee Vacation Rentals was able to accommodate this request! Both places were clean and ready to use. Check in and out was easy. My only issue, our family would have been better at recycling if there was a container inside the units to collect recyclable items. Other than that the places were clean.

My best friend of 40 years and I came to Tybee on my Spring Break (my son told me I needed to get out of the house). We pulled into the Agency right at 6pm and thankfully someone was still there to give us the "key". We drove up to the cottage and were immediately pleased with the "beachy" look. As we walked up the steps, the top porch was so inviting with its colorful chairs and swing. Upon entering the cottage we were pleasantly surprised by the neat and comfortable furnishings. Everything was very relaxing. The decor was as cute as it could be - very beachy with pops of color throughout. We were only 3 blocks from the beach and could even hear the ocean from the back deck. The cottage had everything we needed - plenty of towels, dishes, and hot water!! Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place to stay! I will definitely be back next spring break and will use Tybee Vacation Rentals to book my stay!!

From beginning to end the Tybee folks were extremely helpful. The property we rented was in great condition as promised. We will definitely use TBV again when we travel to the Savannah area.

Tybee Vacation Rentals were very helpful when I was choosing a place right on the beach for my family.

We loved our "Little House". It was about a half a block from the beach and very comfortable. There were two bed rooms and a pull out sofa bed. The entire house was decorated so sweetly and there are pictures of the family who owns the house. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely no complaints about Tybee Vacation Rentals. My pup and I stayed at Salty Paws April 12-18 2019 and loved it. The cottage was exactly as advertised. The staff was very pleasant. They gave us lots of information on Tybee and Savannah. Loved both and can't wait to go back. Hope to stay at Salty Paws again.

The maintenance staff was hostile about parking and rude/confrontational towards my guests.

Tybee Vacation Rentals is the best vacation rental company in Savannah and Tybee Island. The properties are clean and updated with all the luxury features and best of all, the staff is friendly and responsive. Rent from TVR and you will not be disappointed!

It was so easy to rent from Tybee Vacation rentals. Sandy Souls was perfect for our extended family and loved that we could bring our dogs. I would absolutely stay again!

This was the worst experience of all our trips to Tybee Island and we've been coming here for over six years. Can't get into our room, two nights in a row with in adequate service. Spare yourself and find somewhere else to rent from during your stay.

RENTER BEWARE!!!!!
Looking for a vacation rental company that's out to screw you the minute your vacation is over? Well, this is the one! This company is nothing but a bunch of low- down, crooked, corrupt scumbags who will find any reason to steal money from you. ADHERE TO ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE MINE- DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. Seven girlfriends and myself rented a beautiful home in Savannah, GA to celebrate our good friends impending nuptials. We found the property to be a great spot and had only one minor problem, which was the discovery of dirty sheets on two separate beds. While we believe the sheets were clean, there were many and very obvious old blood stains on these said sheets and we merely wrote that in our comments upon leaving the house, with no intention of seeking retribution or the like. We were then met with a bill a week later for nearly $200.00 claiming we had broken the box spring on the king size bed in one of the bedrooms. The two girls who shared that bed are both a mere 120 lbs at best. There was no possible way the supposed damage could have been from us. When we challenged this accusation looking for further proof and explanation of the costs, we received nothing. Nothing, but an unauthorized charge to our credit card. After we had called the manager, Kay, several times on several occasions we never received a phone call back. When we pointed out that we had dirty sheets, we were called liars, told we were the ones who had probably done it (still waiting for the bill on those too). We were never given an invoice, a work order or any definitive proof of the damage done to the super expensive split box spring, well except for some low grade pathetic pictures which gave us no indication as to what was exactly wrong. Save yourself the trouble and hassle of returning from vacation only to receive a bill for a broken dishwasher, couch, chair, shower or bed, as I suspect this isn t the first time they have pulled this scam. Glad to know we were able to bankroll some new furniture for them.

Our vacation booked through Tybee Vacation Rentals was awesome. Tybee was everything it was advertised to be. The condo was clean and recently redone. Neighbors were quiet and considerate. Very clean areas and all the amenities. The advertisement for the condo mentioned a gas grill that was not there, however. Took several calls and Facebook messages to get one delivered, though it was the 4th of July weekend. You could tell that the weekend was short staffed and they were trying to make it right after initially getting the listing slightly wrong. Otherwise a great trip, friendly service, and a guarantee I will be back!

Outstanding property management! Tremendous people that bend over backwards to make both guest and owner completely satisfied with their experiences. Happily entering my 3rd year and I wouldn't use anyone else to book or list a vacation rental on Tybee Island, GA!

From our first call to TVR with Amber B., the process was very easy and professional. Amber explained everything to us and we immediately booked the Splash Inn . It was perfect for two families as the house is separated into two apartments. The only thing I would suggest, is possibly new appliances and more utensils for cooking. We cooked dinner every night and it was a little rough missing some essential utensils or very very worn utensils. The pool was perfect, the location was phenomenal. We were a quick walk to grocery, downtown and the beach. We could have asked for more in a place. We loved it and would recommend Tybee Vacation Rentals to anyone looking for a location for multiple families and/or kids.

We stayed at the Sea Biscuit and absolutely LOVED it!! It was perfect for our 20 year anniversary celebration as it was just the two of us. It was clean and charming and quiet. We enjoyed our walk to the beach everyday and our walk to AJs several nights for dinner, dessert and/or drinks. The location was perfect! The Tybee Vacation Rental Staff was super friendly. We stopped in one day to ask about the Sea Biscuit and to also get details about potential future visits!!! They were wonderful to work with. We are planning on booking another rental next summer and bringing our kids!!! Thank you TVR for providing such an amazing retreat for us to celebrate!!!

Check in time is 4:00 house is just now getting cleaned. Maybe get it by 5:30. After an 11 hour drive, I'm not happy

They would not rent to us because our son is attending prom in Richmond Hill, Ga. No connection between either event, but they insisted. I would absolutely never use this company.

The staff at Tybee Vacation Rentals are polite, professional, and welcoming. They were more than willing to work with me through the cancellation during the hurricane last year and provided a wonderful experience this year during our stay. Their constant effort to support a great experience for us was very appreciated and showed quality in service and business practice. I would recommend Tybee Vacation Rentals to anyone looking to visit coastal Georgia!

Booked a house via Homeaway/VRBO, but quote came from Tybee Vacation Rentals. Just be aware that they will fee you to death if you go thru homeaway. Original quote on Homeaway was 3 nights at $219.97 per, total $657.91. Then you get homeaway's fee of $113. Then Tybee Vacation Rentals will add in Housecleaning fee of $150 (reasonable), Guest Services Fee of $60 (what "services" I have no idea) and Reservation Fee of $52.09. So all fees add up to $375, so just be aware. They did offer to remove the Reservation Fee, but first added it into the rent, so when they deducted, they didn't lose anything.

Not professional. You get the sense the staff is under-paid so they are young, not well trained, and high turn-over. Will not book with them again. I suggest trying one of the smaller property management companies on the island.

Luv this house!!! Have the best views of sunrise, sunset, moonlight; & walks to the beach!
P. S. Only wish there was a hot tub for the freezing weather...

I highly recommend NOT using this company. House was NOT ready for rentors and I spent a good bit of the weekend calling the main office to complain and get things corrected, not how I wanted to spend my vacation. When I asked for compensation, highlights from the contract where things weren't covered as well as a rebuttal to my complaints along with $100.00 to return to thier property next time wasn't what I had in mind. Ten years renting from different company with NO problems on Tybee Island. This was my First time with Tybee Vacation rentals and it was a horrible experience it will be my last time. I know I am a stranger to you all, but trust me when I tell you.. this place sucked.

Great experience with this company. We alway book with the "pink" rental agency on Tybee. They have a ton of properties and love how you can filter through the available rentals online. We will always book here in the future.

We had a good experience with Tybee Vacation Rentals. We had a trip planned the week after Hurricane Matthew hit the area and I was nervous our trip would be canceled. TVR stayed in contact with us through daily emails and then a call to let us know our specific rental was not damaged and our trip was a go. The unit was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Our only complaint is that the Internet was very poor and was out more than it was connected.

I am a new owner working with TVR. I am a long time visitor and owner on Tybee. I switched my property from another management company on Tybee to TVR. I have been extremely impressed with all the professionals at TVR. They made the transition very smooth and efficient . I am really exited about being part of the TVR family as they have the best properties , best service and provide the best experience for the money on Tybee. The TVR employees are dedicated , experienced and know what they are doing. They will do an excellent job of taking care of you and your family !

Quaint, peaceful property at Captain Quarters B was perfect for couples get away!! Only 4 blocks from the north shore which made trips to the beach easy. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to make it back to stay with TVR next year!!

we had a wonderful time at the little house. small but very comfortable for two people. close to the beach and perfect for watching sunrises and going for long walks. entertainment and good food close by if you don't want to drive.

Tybee vacation rentals were so helpful and accommodating as we planned our trip to the island. Our condos were perfectly located and beautiful! Duneside Terraces were super clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this rental group to others and will certiainly utilize them again should we look to return to Tybee Island for a future vacation destination.

This company has a complete and total disregard for Airbnb policies. Airbnb clearly states in their handbook that a host may not discriminate for any reason. They are in a complete violation of Airbnb free market policies, and it is very concerning. Airbnb should remove them immediately.

TVR has a great staff who cares about our property while managing to have it booked solid in the Summer months. Highly recommend!

We rented a great condo from them on the beach with a nice pool. It came with nearly everything we needed for our stay.

This was above my expectations. Very clean, very organized, and lots of amenities. This was our first visit to Tybee and glad we chose Tybee Vacation Rentals. We will not stay anywhere else. It felt like home.

We were at Lighthouse Point 8C, a third floor condo on the north end of Tybee. It was a perfect fit for our short family vacation. 8C was beautifully appointed with an excellent kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, and a comfortable living room. The sunsets from the back balcony were spectacular. The only issue was the TV - it seemed to randomly respond to the power button and it was pretty confusing. (we are tech savvy folks, so we were not expecting this to be an issue) That was our only complaint, and we would happily rent this excellent condo again. The complex itself looks a little older, but the pools were clean and well kept, and beach access was a breeze. If you're up for riding bikes, there are bike rental services that will deliver and pick up - it's a great option for getting around without paying for parking on the island. You won't regret a stay in condo 8C!

My entire experience was wonderful the property was beautifully maintained. The staff could not have been more friendly and the gifts left for us was welcoming. This was one of my best condo experiences. We stayed in Sandpiper 303 it was a beautiful condo with an ocean view everything was within walking distance and our vacation was wonderful.

We have utilized TVR for over ten years and we have always been satisfied with their customer service, and the properties they maintain. We can heartily recommend this management group for Tybee vacations. Check-in and check-out are seamless and we are very satisfied, and we will continue to do business with TVR.

So disappointed. Booked trip in January, prior to COVID and have called twice to cancel or even re-book for a future date and was denied both times. One of our travelers is high risk and cases in the area are rising. Our only option is cancel with the potential of losing $1,200 if it doesn't re-book. Another of our travelers was furloughed and isn't in the position to lose so much money for nothing. I wish they would take consideration of these extenuating circumstances and show compassion for their customer. Was so looking forward to this trip but am truly disheartened that this is how they would treat someone. They're offering to re-book/cancel for individuals who booked after COVID hit, which doesn't make much sense to me. I suppose they have their reasons.

We always have a great experience with Tybee Vacation Rentals. They make the whole process painless & allow for a truly stress-free, relaxing beach vacation. So many of the extras are automatically included, making it an exceptional value. Check in & check out procedures are a breeze. It s the only rental company we use.

This was not what I had expected. Yes. It was clean. And sat right on the beach. However, when reserving the condo, we were under the impression we could walk directly out onto the beach... sadly we were on the second floor, and the stairs going down to the beach were broken. It ended up raining the entire time we were there, no fault of the rental company, but the patio had no covering, so sitting in the inside and staring out onto the beach was the only option for us. The beds in this two bedroom condo were a nightmare. They were extremely hard and falling asleep was something we all dredded doing on this vacation. Not to mention our check out was at 10 am in the morning! Who does that?! So on our last night we had to stay up to pack to leave on time that morning. Total cost was about 800 for three nights. Very overpriced for what was returned. We will not rent from them again. But hope others have a better and more clear understanding of what they are paying for. Make sure you note that the rental property and said office for this property are two different places so you are not out wondering around forever until finding someone who can help you! If you get their late, the property managers don't answer the phones!!(All photos were the morning of check out! And only from a distance.)

Tybee Vacation Rentals is great! They helped my family find the perfect house ("Three Sisters") for our vacation and it did not disappoint! TVR kept me up to date with emails after booking and provided me with a link to an app before I arrived. The app answered lots of questions about the property, check in and out procedures as well as suggestions for food and activities to do in Tybee and Savannah. I strongly recommend TVR when bookings vacation!

The whole rental experience from start to finish was so awesome! We had a scam issue through a third party website (booking.com) and quickly decided to book straight through a rental agency. The website was easy to navigate, and the customer service was incredible. We didn t want to book online due to the precious incident with the other company, so I called to book the property we loved online. It took less than 10 minutes and there was constant communication from the day of the booking til the checkout time. No need to look back through emails or texts, updates were sent often.

The actual property was STUNNING! We stayed at Captains Watch 8. Perfect location, perfect size, clean, updated..... all the things! The condo had anything you could possibly need. All cooking and cleaning supplies, lots of seating, open, lots of windows! We will definitely be staying at this property in the future! Thanks TVR!!!

We stayed in the most beautiful home! It was nice and clean when we got there. No noisy neighbors and only steps from the beach! Everything from checking in to checking out was easy and wonderful! Thank you for making our vacation one to remember!

Recently stayed at the grimball Chapman B home and it was absolutely beautiful! The only con to this rental is that there is no full bath on the first level. My grandmother had a fall trying to get upstairs with the stair rail being a little shaky but other than that, My family and I had a great experience with TVR and enjoyed how close we were to everything. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting the Savannah area.

We had an excellent experience when renting a cottage through Tubes Vacation Rentals for 1 week during June 2015.

Overall good experience. Location is convenient and easily accessible. Great place for vacationing families. Beach is not overcrowded and is family friendly.

We had a bad experience which we posted further down in the reviews. The response from Tybee Rentals was "We will be in touch with you" I just wanted to post a follow up. 3 weeks later. . NO follow up. NO call or txt or call. This is what to expect if things go wrong. We had a black stain on our ceiling from a leak (they said it was not mold) and the washing machine intake was hooked to the hot water. Boiled our clothes. You acknowledged the problems. AND you'll Fix them for the NEXT customer. There are plenty of places to rent from, this is NOT customer service.

This was my 2nd time booking a home in Tybee Island Beach with Tybee Vacation Rentals and i am glad i trusted them once again. They have good rates and great homes/condos.

My bubble was burst!
I was so excited to return to Tybee vacation rentals to book my summer getaway. I had rented from them last year and had a wonderful experience. After last years vacation I was sent an offer to return and receive $50 off my next rental! Happily this year I call to book the salty paws house and was told it was only available in my time frame for 2 nights. I accept as it worked for the amount of time I had, but was told I could not use my $50 off because I was not renting for enough time! Even though it wasn't available for any longer they would not adjust and give me even a portion of the offered discount! I was told that they they weren't going to because they would have any problem renting it out to someone else! I was floored! Bad customer service!
Needless to say I decided not to rent the place, a few hours later I get an email with a rental agreement and realize my card that they had on file from last year had been charged $150 deposit! I call and speak to a manager who tells me they have no idea how this happened and offers me a $25 gift certificate for dinner if I keep the reservation.... Too little too late...
So disappointed! They lost what could have been a lifelong customer!

We've been staying here for the last 3 years.

Booking was very easy and afterward a represetative called me to make sure everything was like I expected. She gave me some good advice about Tybee Island and the Savannah area.
The property was exactly what was shown on the VRBO listing. The backyard grill was fairly new, clean and in good working order. We really enjoyed staying on Tybee Island and will come back again.

We needed a place for a small family wedding on short notice due to covid and family medical issues. TVR found us the perfect beach front home for our needs and the celebration was a huge success. TVR listened to our needs and responded immediately with the perfect solution.

First working with this organization and must say it was an enjoyable experience all around. Will be using them as our go to the next time we plan/book a vacation to Tybee island.

I wish I could give zero stars. I ve used many rentals across the country and in Europe and have never experienced what we did while staying at a Tybee Island Vacations property that we booked through air bnb. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment described as charming and historic. The photos and reviews are very misleading. It pictured cute outdoor furniture in the porch of the building and when we arrived we found not that furniture but rusty peeling metal chairs. The porch was dirty - inside smelled moldy and the windows didn t open. Only four houses from a beach you would expect beach towels ( we traveled from other states by plane) and for some odd reason dishwasher pods were offered but there s no dishwasher. There were crumbs or sand in the bed and the floor felt gritty. We stayed the first night but after being in Savannah the second day we returned around 10 pm and turned on the light in the apartment to be met by two very large cockroaches crawling on the floor. After trying to kill them we found another one running across the floor in the bathroom. Needless to say we were upset and called the property after -hours number to be told to go buy bug spray or leave. We were not willing to sleep on a futon and in a tiny space where giant palmettos ( which by the way IS a cockroach despite what this management company says) were crawling around. Clearly this building had not been sprayed. We were forced to drive back to Savannah and rent a hotel room. Nobody ever returned our calls from this terrible property company and even air bnb was no help because apparently you have to photograph very fast cockroaches running across the floor and under furniture and cupboards. So - if you want to stay in this not so charming Tybee Island property be armed with bug spray - and your camera.

Tybee Vacation Rentals is a wonderful company to help with your vacation rental. They made everything easy. They are very attentive and check in and check out for the home we chose was simple and fast. I highly recommend their company. The rental we chose was as advertised and we loved it as well! Thank you for making our vacation so easy!

We booked direct with Tybee Vacation Rentals and the service was superb. Very easy, quick and the team are very responsive. The check in and out was slick and easy. The provision of an online system that gives all the information needed is also great.
Brilliant service, would highly recommend.

Our condo had black mold on the bedroom ceiling. We notified the Tybee vacation rentals, and received a pleasant "so sorry". The washing machine was installed improperly so the hot water intake was connected to the cold. It boiled all my delicate clothes. The response; "so sorry, we are not responsible for maintenance issues." Can you at least do a walk thru before doing a rental and check that things work right and there is no black mold visible. Afterwards, they said management would get in touch with us. As you can guess...no call.

We will definitely rent again from Tybee Vacation Rental. The entire process of renting and checking in/out was extremely easy. They also provide you a lot of help information about the area/house. We rented Sandy Souls and were extremely satisfied with the home.

This was an excellent vacation. A fine property, nicely prepared and very comfortable. We will be back.

Disappointed in the communication of Tybee Vacation Rentals. Our rental property had damage that made it unrentable due to Hurricane Matthew (we understand that it was out of their control.) however, we were not made aware of it until 6 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL. The company had continued to take our automatic drafts and even sent all of our confirmation & check in information - only to get a call the next day saying we no longer had a place to stay for our Savannah 1/2 Marathon weekend with 4 other couples. We did receive a full refund, but very disappointed that there was no other help in finding a new place.

TVR did a great job coordinating with Home Owner's Association Management, contractor Rickey Greer (RNR Home Improvements), and TVR design team to create a great vacation property. TVR is doing a wonderful job promoting it and filling it with rental guests.

We loved our condo! Location was awesome! Check out time is too early.

As a property owner, I can say this has been a very poor experience as well. We should have known from the first meeting when their representative did not show and did not answer repeated calls. Needless to say, the only pleasant experience we had with them was from the design team.

They state they have policies in place to guard against parties and too many people at the house. Those policies proved non existent. We also saw personally nine cars pull up and block a street completely. It was their team who were using the property for a company meeting, not at all appropriate and it goes on. They treat owners as if it is owned by TVR.

We also had our house booked by TVR for their use, for which they gave two reasons. One person said night pictures and I'm assuming the other who said someone won a contest was actually telling the truth. No rent paid, just free for them. Beware of putting your property with them.

We also never receive any type of meaningful billing breakdown for design. Again, seems they are their to serve themselves. In addition, we were billed for things never provided. Our pool company provided equipment and TVR put it on the bill as if they had.

We wanted to offer bikes, golf carts, etc to guests. TVR doesn't allow this. It's their way or the highway. We have since learned it is solely their choice. We paid them 26%. You would think they could provide better service. We now pay a larger firm 18% and we may have bikes and golf carts available for guests at no extra cost.

We stayed at our place multiple times and found the cleaning to be subpar. Dirt on the screened in porch siding never cleaned. Garage area was perhaps swept but not much else. No notification if things were broken or missing, for instance we have ping pong table available and paddles were all broken. They don't really seem to care about anything but the almighty dollar they make.

When we finally canceled after a year of learning, they took the site down even though we had a week available to rent. Again, it's all about them. Oh, they will tell you different. We did check references and we were told TVR will nickle and dime you to death. Apparently for things they don't deliver.

When I had asked the current coverage person if they had even been to our house I was told no. I asked they go and view it so we may have a more meaningful conversation. Again the answer was no. Albeit the person was concerned about Covid19 but they could go when nobody was there, right?

I am beyond glad to be done with this self serving firm. We want our guests to have extras. Even when I complained to them that the master didn't have king size pillows, they responded I was the only person to make such a complaint.

We added a neon light to the bar area and I was told that might be taken by a guest and I should remove it. We had already lost a google home. They really only care about themselves. The new company said none of this is an issue for them.

I see some guests complain about garbage. The outside garbage is the city. They don't do a great job. They simply take bags. If anything else is in the can, it stays. The garbage is a city issue but I would expect for their large cut TVR would at least put pressure on the city to do better. I saw cleaning stuff not bagged and food not bagged in the trash. Their cleaning service doesn't care. It's a city job. I bagged it and cleaned it every time I went.

I could go on and on. I think you can get the point. It's the B team.
