Our condo had black mold on the bedroom ceiling. We notified the Tybee vacation rentals, and received a pleasant "so sorry". The washing machine was installed improperly so the hot water intake was connected to the cold. It boiled all my delicate clothes. The response; "so sorry, we are not responsible for maintenance issues." Can you at least do a walk thru before doing a rental and check that things work right and there is no black mold visible. Afterwards, they said management would get in touch with us. As you can guess...no call.
