Anyone will tell you that TXU prices are high. Even though we are all pretty much using the same equipment they feel the need to overcharge. I personally believe that the way they have conducted business during this pandemic goes to show how little TXU truly cares about their customers. I can't say as a whole because it took me a while but I finally found a representative with a soul named Beverly ID#17481 who helped me with a previous arrangement made to me by another gentleman (sorry didn't catch his name). I called back to make my payment for the agreed fee and this horrible supervisor there told me she wouldn't honor it. Told me I had to pay twice as much or there was nothing that could be done. I hope her days are numbered or I feel bad for those struggling through this pandemic because if you let her represent you, she obviously lacks knowledge and doesn't care enough about her customers to thoroughly do her job. May God Bless Beverly though! Thanx you again sweety for turning the heat back on for my babies and for honoring the arrangement that you knew would help me.

Will never recommend TXU. My bill is 350.00 for one month in a 3 bedroom apt. Not only that, they are not willing to work with you at all. My bill is due on the !8th. They would not extend it for two days, so I could pay my bill. And, if you do not call and make arrangements on or before the 15th day...they will shut your service off. They will shut it off even if you haven't used a full month of service. And, if you have children with asthma they will not help you unless you have one of their doctors notes filled out. Worst company ever! Try to speak to a supervisor or manager they just past it to the person next to them. NO help, extremely high energy service. Free nights and weekends...you will never see it! It's all a gimmick!

I thought I had double paid my electric bill and immediately decided to contact a TXU representative to verify. Rep was able to confirm that no payments were made and I requested he/she to stay with me while I made a payment and confirm when payment was made. Rep was prompt, patient, and professional. Awesome!

I have used TXU for a few months and they have great online customer service over chat. I am very happy when I see I can chat with someone instead of always having to call and wait for who knows how long. They help me out with any question I have very professionally.

Had a really good experience working with Allen R to help me switch plans and get one that better fits my needs. I was honestly on the fence of switching to another provider but I've been with TXU so long I figured I just see what options I had available to me before doing a switch. The old plan was horrible and did not work for me and was almost double what I was paying last year.

I've had txu for many years however I recently went solar and due to their solar plans not being as good as others I had to cancel services. In 10 years of loyal services have a never been late but today I had a representative call me about my final bill and asked if I was gonna pay it since it was due today August3rd? Not only had i scheduled this on July 31st which im sure their system showed that but the fact that you felt the need to call and ask me about my payment as if I was EVER late or past due at the moment I'm soo glad I am no longer giving this company my money and I will no longer refer this company to others. I requested a call back regarding my renewable buy back and I've yet to have someone reach out i figured I'd just pay the bill and be done.... quick to call me about money ive already paid sooo disappointed

Great customer service. Anytime I need assistance I can always rely on their great support. Recently I needed assistance on my bill, and Phil from customer service was very patient with me and helped tremendously. He was very kind and reassuring. Great customer service.

Our family has used TXU for our choice of electricity for over 10 years. They have always given us the best plan out there and when our electricity is out, we get a quick response to help get it back on. They use text message and will call us with updates until the lights have been restored. Thank you TXU and employees for being a part of our family. Great services and great rates!

I have been with this company close to 15 years, and I had a situation with my reward card, never received this year, and I been calling trying to find out, what happen to my card, and I went thru, transfer me twice, so I end up speaking with a supervisor, he handle the situation for me, I appreciate him, I received a 25 credit, and they will investigate what happen to the first card was sent, and send me another card, my bill is average, I really like being with this company, I really don't have any complaints, I would recommend T.X.U to my family and friends.

I have loved TXU for years, I have recommended then several times however I just had the most horrid conversation with a few TXU representatives and supervisors. Noah who I originally spoke too could not explain anything to me for me to be able to understand why my final bill was as high as it was. After arguing and asking 5 times to speak to a supervisor I was finally put through to Rebecca who was very sweet and offered me assistance and a credit which I declined because I still was unsatisfied. She then transferred to the rudest most monotone man ever named Anthony. All Anthony could say was "this is a valid charge"and tried to justify my annoyance with his own personal sob story from living in Arizona. I am unsure why he is even in cuatomer service, me as a manager, i would never hire him. I then asked to speak to a supervisor whose name is Tia and she flat out told me there was nothing she can do. It was $73 and to a corporation to lose a long time, 9 year, customer and for me to write a review like this, it is astonishing to me this is the route their supervisors and managers are told to take rather than comply and Make the customer satisfied. TXU is officially on the list with Green Mountain noe as utility companies I will never use again. This is so unfortunate.

My contract came up for renewal in December.When I called they told me i did mot have to do anything as my. Plan would continue.TXU screwed me and put me in one of the most expensive plans and my bills have been out the roof. When I called today i was told i would have to sign another one year contract to get my old plan back.there was no empathy from the customer service rep...it was basically too bad so sad attitude. I have been a loyal customer for the past 20 years off and on with TXU. I am now looking for a new electric company. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AT TXU

Thank you, thank you! As you make know that our country is dealing with a medical crisis and it is affecting many of us financially. To be able to contact my energy company and ask for assistant is truly humbling on so many levels. However, I want it to be known that for the last 10 plus years, TXU has provided me with the best customer service. Everytime that I need to make arrangements and/or ask for an extension, I was given world class customer service from all of your CSR. They are truly the epitome of great service. Once again, thank you for understand the situation and being a top rated company that is willing to assist their customers, no matter the situation. Thank you, thank you and thank you!

The energy plan I have been on has caught me with some surprises with high bills. So when the time arrived to update the plan I desperately sought help. (Too may personal tragedies has been a bit overwhelming for this cowboy, lol.) The experience was so positive and so speedy I am not sure what could have been better. All I know is that we are all struggling with different issues. But I am super thankful for the hard work TXU applies to help us. I am one grateful happy customer and this computer stuff is awesome.

Attempting to end service at one location and transfer to another service location. THAT is when all the trouble started. Seem we could not transfer service because we wanted to have service at both locations for a period of time. We had to set up a new account for our home purchase yet the service was not properly cancelled when apartment vacated. Numerous (5) calls later and I believe the billing has been corrected. Well over an hour on the phone, all together yet still may not be resolved?

Excellent Chat! Jorge A. and Jose A. were my chat reps. They were very helpful with choosing the best plan for me, as well as working out a temporary payment plan for an unexpected high bill. Best of all, their responses were super quick. I just hate waiting for someone to type or check with a superior and leave me sitting in silence while I wait for the chat to pop back up. It was a good experience, and accomplished exactly what I needed.

TXU charges you an extra deposit just for getting extensions they do not work with you and tell you you have to pay over 90% of the bill in order to get an extension TXU is trash customer service is horrible and I will be changing companies

Serious rip off! Seems like they just cheated me and told me that I signed up for average billing when I never bloody did! They kept telling me all these stories of how I did and I know for a fact that I din and they want to charge me around 150 dollars for their average monthly billing policy. NEVER GOING BACK TO TXU! SO DONE WITH THEM !!
