I called TXU today to ask about ways to lower my electric bill. Stuart D responded to my questions. He was so helpful giving me information about ways to cut costs as well as a web site for more information. He also gave me 211 information which will be helpful. I could tell through web chatting that he was kind and compassionate. Should I ever need TXU again, I hope he answers my question!

Thruout my time in the State of Texas, hailing originally from Washington, DC and State of Maryland, I've been pleased being a participant of TXU. They seem to operate in the manner of PEPCO (DC) and Maryland Utiities. TXU seems like a fair company in their daily customer dealings as well as showing respect and courtesy to those in need of help, advice and problem solving. Many times my bill is higher than I'm happy about. I do call the TXU members and receive careful explanations along with suggestions for future us habits. It's nice to know there is time to spare for those TXU depends on.

Just decided to switch, this company has very very poor customer service! Needed a 4 day extension on a bill and they refused even after I told them if they could not help me after being with them for over 10 years then I would switch companies and the Customer service rep said "ok".. if this is how you treat your customers than I can no longer be a customer! P.s. someone broke my truck window and stole my wallet so my new card would be on it's way around the time my bill was due.
Havent had an issue in the longest withtxu however when i do it is resolved immediately

Excellent Customer service! Each time I have contacted TXU for account and products/services information, I have always had wonderful agents to assist me. I would recommend TXU to anyone, the customer service agents pay close attention to the customer's needs. They go over and beyond to provide the customer with excellent service!
