Twohey's Restaurant is one of the oldest Diner in Los Angeles, that people seemed to drive past it every now and again but after last night We all really took notice! Gogobotters were surprised to hear that they have their own catering company called, Three's Sisters Catering, there higher end right arm! Who knew that a diner can dish out such elegance and class. Chef Lalo spoiled us rotten! We were treated to turkey meatballs, tuna poke in a crispy pastry cup, fried risotto truffle balls and that was just the start, the truffle butter which accompanied the bread rolls was the talk of the town. From the autumn mixed green salad to the Risotto con Zucca with the main course of New Zealand lamb Chops or Tenderloin Medallions, the beautifully finished off with spiced pumpkin and walnut liquor panna cotta! Needless to say, Gogobotters had a lot to be Thankful for. They were even treated to beer and wine from the general manager, Bill, and the coordinator, Jennifer was an amazing host!

Comfortable old-school coffee shop feel. Courteous, friendly staff. Best burger I've had in a long time, and the french fries don't go leathery and tough after 5 min, like most other joints do.

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the food. I give this place 5 stars because I come for the one of a kind bitter sweet sundaes. These are the best and will bring me back time and again. I just wish these things were good for me and then I could eat them guilt free!

This place is no Hofs Hut. The burgers are small for 9 dollars. They tasted good yes yet for 9 dollars they need to. I asked if I could get half fries, half onion rings, the waitress said yes for 5 dollars extra. I asked her well how much for a order of onion rings alone. She said 5 dollars. That needed me up. Half for 5 dollars and regular order for 5 dollars. Got it. Nope they suck.....

I haven't been in over a year which was when they remodeled the restaurant. I miss the photos of the Rose Parade queens and court as well as some of the great old art. The new look is reminiscent of googie architecture. The music is sixties and the artwork is car culture meets Pasadena area history. Lots of old photographs of the Rose Bowl under construction, the old train ride up Mount Lowe as well as model trains and sports memorabilia from football played at the Rose Bowl. A lot of nods to the Rose Parade. Food is delicious and the service was great.

They remodeled a few years ago, and they thought they were losing the lease so they let their seats get kinda shabby. But the lease renewed at the last minute, so the seats are pretty worn but the food is still fantastic!

Twohey's is an institution, serving good food for decades now. Parking can sometimes be a challenge due to the In-N-Out next door, but it's usually not to bad in the morning during breakfast.

Life is short. Pair a classic Stinko burger with garlic fries and wash them both down with a chocolate malt. No, don't order a salad. C'mon! You'll never remember a SALAD, but a Stinko burger...they stay with you.

Local staple that s a big piece of nostalgia for my entire family. Strongly suggest the curry clam chowder if it s available. Onion rings are also a must! Entree s are usually big servings, so if you have room, the hot fudge sundaes will make you crave a return visit.

Food was great but we sat on the patio and they had the music blasting Pitbull and we asked twice for them to lower the volume and they couldn t figure it out somehow. It was just too much for a morning breakfast to have the music blasting. The speakers on patio are poorly positioned.

Giving a 5 for covid-19 readiness. Great outdoor space design that will be used a lot. Heat lamps abound. The outdoors doesn't feel like you are in a parking lot. Very clean modern feel. Service and food is still the same from the old location. Gets busy as not many places in South Pasadena have figured covid-19 dining like they have.

Good selection of food. Deserts are wonderful. Unique curry clam chowder. It used to be the place to go after events. However, the management has become less friendly and accommodating over time.

We had my daughter's 11th birthday party here with a few friends. Staff was great, food is awesome! Reminds me of the old 50's style diners, which I love. They do more than burgers and fries, check their menu! Just a nice vibe here, very casual and fun. My daughter and her friends loved the food, which is amazing in itself! You can't go wrong here!

I went there recently and loved their outdoor dining quality! They made sure all the table were more than 6 feet away but maintained the quality of the dine in experience. Also, unlike many restaurants they were completely fine with dog, which I really appreciated! Food is a tad bit on the expensive side, but they make up for it with good quality and big portions!

I've been going to this restaurant since I was a kid, over 40 years. The restaurant has been in its current location for 75 years. Unfortunately the landlord's new lease terms are too expensive for the restaurant to stay in its current location. So it will be closing by the end of January. But this place has always had good food and great sundaes, though I would admit that the food used to be a better quality, that is also true of every single restaurant I've been to in the last 20 years. I've also never had a bad customer service experience with its wait staff. If you have the chance to get to visit before they close at the end of January 2018, do so. They do have a Tavern that they recently opened in Pasadena and are currently looking for another location for their main restaurant. Stay tuned!
