Hammonton Nursing and Rehab Center Review

Do not, I repeat DO NOT send your love one there. We signed mom out as soon as we could. If I could rate this facility a negative # I would!! Cold food, attention by staff horrible, fly infested!!!!!! Mom called it a Hell Hole.

This facility is disgusting. My husband wasn't even in there for 24 hours and I removed him. They were in such a hurry to get rid of him that they left his PICC line in. After they realize what they did they kept calling me and telling me to take him to a hospital to have it out. today, I couldn't believe it. police officers from my town knocked on my door and told me that they filed a complaint saying that we left with a PICC line in! I laughed. I said how dare they! They are the incompetent ones that left the PICC line in. Then when I called them they demanded to know who took the pic line out. I wouldn't even leave my dog in this place.
the pictures that they post online look nothing like the place inside all the wood and the paint is chipped and you can wait forever to just get a drink of water. And don't even ask about the food. I don't know how this place is shut down.

I find it odd that they would go to the depths of calling the police because they left the PICC line in my husband's arm.
I guess somebody's job was on the line.
They were just scared because they're so unprofessional there.

My mother had a surgery done and while in another hospital she got covid 19 so I had to make a decision on where she could go for recovery and because of her having covid my options where limited so after some online research I picked this place cause it had 4 stars and good reviews and let me tell you I was so wrong..from day one I had issues I could not get any nurse or doctor or anyone to tell me how she was for a week after calling at least 10 times a day. The front desk lady told me that this is a issues and they never pick up the phones..so I did get a call back from the social worker and she could only help me so much but just to find out how she was doing was a nightmare. they lost some of her belongings which has still not been resolved and I've had issues with her care and I've called everyone the head guy and still nothing..so thank God she is home now but I'd think twice before sending my loved one here..

This place is one of the worst places I've ever worked in my 20 years as a nurse. The meals they prepare for the residents are the worst I've ever seen and the quality of care and attentiveness to the residents needs well-being and their staff is deplorable . I honestly don't know how there doors are open .

When you come in...the security is very nice and sweet...the place is clean in the main floor...employees are nice and sweet as well

Had my grandfather there and his stay was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this place.

THE ONE STAR IS FOR MAYBE TWO PEOPLE THAT WERE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL.....I AGREE WITH SO MANY OF THE ONE STAR REVIEWS....TRUST ME THEY ARE NOT EXAGGERATING....THE NEWSPAPER OR STATE SHOULD GET INVOLVED....

The Hammonton Center Staff has been wonderful with my Grandmother. They are extremely helpful and always there to answer my questions and provide assistance when needed.

The most horrific place to be they neglect patients. They don t answer call bells. They are very disrespectful and room C108 has bed bugs

I love this Facility the staff is excellent took very good care of my brother...... The very attentive the staff actually cares they answered all my Questions and concerns they also have an amazing physical therapy team. The administrator it s very nice Don and the whole nursing staff Highly recommended For your love ones

If I could give a zero I would! The night crew is very attentive. The day crew has left my dad sit in his own feces and urine for over three hours and refused to help him get into bed for over four hours after he just had surgery. You re supposed to feel that your loved one is under the best care as they are getting better from a surgery. Our family regrets this move. Our father, grandfather, uncle, and friend has only been here for the past four days, I feel for those who are admitted for longer periods of time! On their answering service they indicate that they treat every patient with respect and dignity. My fathers a three time Purple Heart Veteran! If they treat him like this what do they do for other patients? I thank the night shift for trying to combat the problems caused by the day shift! Think twice before sending your loved one here.

This is a careless establishment whose employees do unprofessional things/and who knows what else.

Worst facility I ever worked as a CNA...No structure or organization what so ever...The place is not clean, employees are even worse...i feel bad for the residents...the place needs to be reported...JUST HORRIBLE DESERVE NO STARS

Hammonton Center is a nice clean home for someone requiring rehab. My grandfather was only there for a short period but I was very impressed with the care and support provided. The rehab team is superb and the administration is top notch. I highly recommend this rehab.

This is the worst place I ever worked as a CNA. They never give you enough linen to clean the residents. I feel bad for the residents that live there because they are the ones who suffer. Most of the staff are unprofessional and lazy. They never have your check right. If I could give this place -5 stars I would. They don't even deserve that one star! They deserve no stars! They are disorganized and rude!

My Grandmom was at this facility for her rehab and the staff was amazing! So warm and treated her like family

Since I have b|n here I personally have seen some individuals that work here from nursing to the aids that have a wonderful heart for those who need that. When I was crying at my bedside a aid named Brittney sat with me and comforted me from her heart! Richard my nurse truly extended himself to make sure I ate because my jaw was broken. Giovanni, Shenise and Harder are very exemption Al aids who care about the patients.

Current resident, left alone in my room for hours. Nurses don't answer my call bell. Kitchen neglects to make a tray for me EVERY MEAL. Yet to get a tray. Meds are hours late on a regular basis... This place is neglecting me. No one cares. It's a total joke here, been in nicer jails...

Hammonton center 5 star rating because of the workers of the building! Keeping light at the end of the tunnel for any individual who wants to be better

This place is abusive to patients i came for rehab sent from doctor and hospital and when i arrived place refused to give me my physical therapy ordered by my doctor and i contacted an advocate for the state and got pt for the first time and then the pt was stopped wo no advance notice. No staff member would help me so i went back to my doctor who demanded again for me to have pt however their staff would not follow my doctors orders a well respected doctor from rothman. My two doctors advised me to leave when i did try to leave the staff tried to hold me against my will i called 911 to get out. Very scary place aids never wanted to work or do their jobs help with shower or even change bed linens food horrible and made us sick big theft problem all the time from staff from our medicine to personal items everything got stolen even our dentures got out with only the clothes on my back i would never go back very scary place reported abuse to state. Do not go to this place and other patients told me of physical abuse to them.

This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. If you'd like your loved one to starve, get pneumonia, or sit in a dirty diaper all day, then please send them here! The second I walk into this place, I want to throw up. My grandmother was here for REHABILITATION after a car accident. Not long term care like the other patients with dementia and Alzheimers. I witnessed my grandmothers roommate repeatedly calling for the nurse because she had to use the bathroom. They leave the patients in the same dirty diaper in the same spot in the hallway for HOURS. They let the patients toe nails grow a foot long. Not only are the nurses RUDE and ABUSIVE, but they ignore you. If you ask for a cup of ICE, they say "ok" and never come back. This place needs to be shut down AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I think the news needs to be called because not even the person that runs the place will do anything.

The staff is wonderful and you can tell they truly care about the residents! My uncle has been there almost a year now and I am so thankful we found this center. He is well taken care of and absolutely loves it here! He loves his new friends and all the activities they have. He looks forward to the music entertainment every Friday and even gets to do some singing!

Very bad place my father has been there for almost 2 months n ive only gotten thru the nurse once.. Ive left a whole bunch of messages for Helen n still havent heard from her.. Mind you my dad is cant talk has a traq collar n cant move his left side.. Anyone can recommend me a better place.. When he was in the hospital atleast i was able to face time him.. N his dr would call me everyday.. He has a loving family that hasnt heatd from him.. He is a father grandfather n great grandfather.. If anyone else has had a bad experience n found a better place please inbox me..

The Doctor I had laughed at me, refused to give me Ensure. He said I did not need it. I drank one every day before coming to this HELL HOLE. When I asked for something to drink, I was told by one of the attendants that why I had water. Hammonton water is full of chloride. I could smell it and found I could not drink it. On January 10th my rehab was done. They would not let me out of the place to January 31st. Even though I had a room ready for me to go to. My doctor said, " I did not know you were ready to leave." Really? There were a lot of other things.

Hammonton Center is a great place to work. I just recently started and love being apart of the team !

A+ for sure. From the administrative staff to the nursing staff and in between. Very attentive to all of our needs and very helpful throughout the admissions process as well.

My 86 year old mother was there for rehab. The staff was very professional and caring. They always responded quickly to her calls. They answered all of my questions. The place was neat and clean, it just needed a little face lift. The heater was old and made a rattle noise. And the room phone did not work. And I had to bring in a cozy blanket from home. I called Hammonton Center regarding my wife s Grandfather who required a home to live at with extra care to be attended to for his medical conditions. The staff couldn t have been nicer and easier to deal with. We did a walk through of the facility and it was extremely clean and well taken care of. The residents we spoke to were all very happy and pleased with their care. I m very happy and excited my family found this facility. Thank you!

Michelle McDowell is a phenomenal person to talk too if you have questions and concerns. We were looking to have some family members that needed a rehab center and she was kind respectful and didn t force anything upon us while visiting. She was so helpful and I would come here again! 10/10!!

I have found the staff here is very caring and helpful. Plenty of activities. The hallways and rooms are kept clean and residents are well taken care of.

I m proud to say that I have been an employee here for over 5 years. Our rehabilitation is excellent and we have a phenomenal team!
