I've been coming here for over 20 years. I love the place, no need to pick it apart. Even better for dessert.

Best place to eat, shame they are closing and moving.
Nice staff. Decent prices. Parking may be a bit difficult due to sharing the same lot with in n out burgers- but there's also street parking if you're willing to walk.
Been coming here since ot was a drive in. So sad to see thr seats and carpet so worn and tired. Onion rings didnt hold up, breading all fell off. Smelled funny inside. Wont be back.
Their service is always great. I like their Napa omelette, it's quite tasty.
Iconic establishment, usually a great meal, however in it's last week I was very disappointed. I'm sure they forgot season the beef in my burger. They forgot to bring a lemonade several times and when we finally got it. It was super sour.
I love Twohey's so glad they reopened in South Pasadena. Food is always tasty and I'm glad there is a cocktail menu now. Staff is very friendly and be sure to get the sundae you won't regret it.
Wonderful Twoheys! The onion rings are the best. Service is good. Didn't really like the potato salad but everything else was good.
I love the atmosphere and the servers are very nice
A traditional place for breakfast, the best selection of Ice cream and Shakes, Hamburgers and my favorite Lobster benedict.
Love this place Cynthia is the best!!! Will definitely return.
A good variety of All American foods and a very good old American Family Restaurant.
This is a favorite place.
We've been coming here for years.
Great food friendly service....onion rings are legendary, burgers are huge and tasty.
Lobster Fest is amazing.
Love you, Twohey's
Wonderful as always. They're opening in South Pasadena on Jan. 6.
Sad they are closing down Alhambra location. Happy for Pasadena location
Came here for the unlimited ribs and it was more than I could handle. It's better to get the ribs without sauce and just add sauce to your liking. I didn't want to eat ribs for months after this.
So glad they finally opened my favorite part is the staff.
American food is great--BBQ baby back ribs, chili burgers, and Hot chocolate bitter sweet sundae are the bombs. But cant get use to ckam chowder with hint of curry. Been eating there for past 36 years. but they are leaving current location for Sout Pas soon
An an old school diner gem in Alhambra, yummy diner style food but nicer, large menu from burgers and fries to dinner plates like fried Chicken and meatloaf, must place to stop by for great American diner food.
Twohey's is like a diner. I've been going there for over 40 Years. Great food and friendly employees. The only problem is the parking situation is bad. I will miss them when they close at end of January.
My family has been coming to this spot for years, yet somehow I'd never made it to this location! Traveling through town with a stop at my brother's place, we went with his family for Saturday breakfast. My brother tells me this location will be closing soon (although that has been announced for almost a year!) so I'm glad we went. They have a nice menu, some different items you don't see anywhere else. I tried the Tri Tip Skillet, and it was yummy. The decor and ambiance was old-style diner, which I love. Service was ok, but it was quite busy. We didn't have any wait as we were early, but there was a good line when we left. Enjoyed our breakfast, and will be sure to check out the new location once they have moved!
The restaurant has a good atmosphere, good food, and the service is friendly and fast enough. Opened in 1943, it seems that the business has made money and is still open today. Heard that less people move to a new place on the fair oaks.
The current news that Twohey's is closing is devastating. Twohey's has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
The rumors that the restaurant may be moving to a new location is exciting, but unconfirmed, news.
My boyfriend and I had dinner at Twohey's. We enjoyed ourselves. The dinner was great and the service was wonderful. The hot fudge sundae put the icing on a beautiful evening.
We all ordered breakfast and it was delicious. Setup was Covid responsible and super nice. Will go again soon.
First time dining here! Loved it
Great food and service!
We have always enjoyed eating at Twohey's. Looking forward to their new place. The onion rings are still the best!!
Good Food and we were Lucky that the Waitress was Hispanic herself but very Noticeable RACISM all around That PLACE can't Believe we Still have to be DEALING with that Kind of Treatment this Time of Year
I normally would not write a negative review but I have to write this. I ordered 2 fish and chips. On line the price is 15.95, when I picked it up the price increased. The young lady says next time I call to verify cost. I wanted fish and chips so we paid the price. I'm sorry but the coating on the fish was so thick and I have no idea what kind of fish was inside all of that coating but it was the worst tasting fish and chips I ever tasted. Sorry, but I was so disappointed.
Their outdoor dining is set up very well. Plenty of parking. Most importantly, delicious comfort food!!
Curry clam chowder! A San Marino/ SGV tradition. Apparently moving location soon.
Food is OK but good service today! ! Soup is tasty but became too salty when take it with the crackers.
Cute diner atmosphere friendly service. Good root beer float
Good american food but some times food takes to long
Had a great lunch at Twoheys in their outdoor patio. Great to have them back open. We are longtime customers & the Prime Rib Dip hit the spot!
They had BBQ, but took forever. Place is dated but they're moving to new location.
Twoheys has been a favorite place for great desserts and incredible dishes. Nice size sandwiches and the large sundae will fill anyone's craving. Sad to say after 75 years they will be closing February 2nd, 2018. Thanks Twoheys for the great memories.
So sad it's closing one of my favorite places in San Gabriel Valley for a old fashion burger and fries. Hopefully they find a new home to open in.
Chocolate sundae yummy and delicious good food is a great I miss it two heey.
Ordered to-go before before his Chemotherapy, delicious milkshake, less than impressive onion rings, friendly staff, really expensive.
Fairly solid place for American dinner-style comfort food. Lots of options from appetizers, entrees, dessert, and drinks.
We usually come for the fried chicken as our go to dish, but some reason today it really wasn't as good. We did make mention to it server so hopefully this is remediated down the road.
The lobster rolls are pretty solid too from previous experience and is one the few places that actually serve those in the sgv area.
Way overpriced for average food. The portions are good, but still not worth the price. A $5 mimosa that's about the size of a double shot tequila shotglass, three sips and you're literally done with it.
This restaurant is an LA favorite and tried and true destination unfortunately on February 2nd 2018 it will be closing forever. The owner of the land could not come to an agreement with the owner of the restaurant so they are closing we will miss this place.
Great retro type Diner with good food. Parking can be a challenge. If the lot is full park on a side street.
Love Twoheys and have been going there for years but au gratin potatoes made me sick. I said nothing but when I went to pay the manager was extremely rude!!!
I've wanted to visit Twohey's for a while based on their amazing vintage neon sign! It's fantastic! The inside was also very nice. It is a much larger place than it looks because there a second large room in the back. The service was excellent! Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and even the other folks who work here are very nice and attentive.
At first glance of the menu (which is HUGE) you are overwhelmed by all they offer! In a good way! I wanted to try everything!!! Sadly, the food itself wasn't very good. My fries were literally drenched in oil. I just ate here about an hour ago and I'm still not feeling wonderful. It was similar for the people with me. it all tasted pretty good (other than my fries that I couldn't finish). But nothing out of this world.
Service - 5 Stars
Ambience - 4.5 Stars
Neon Sign - 5 Stars
Food - 2 stars
Overall - 3 stars. Go at least once to check out the inside... maybe just for dessert which we didn't have, but I hear is really good! And maybe if you have dinner you'll disagree and discover it was something rare that happened with us. Because again... great folks here. I just wish the food was better.
Great view of the san gabriel mountains. The hamburger was delicious.
Delicious food and great customer service. Definitely recommend!
Love the garlic fries. Only complaint is with parking. In-&-Out Burger takes up way to much parking leaving it dangerous and challenging to park for Twohey's.
Love this place, great service, great food and good prices.
Waited 7 minutes at the counter with no service. I left. Bad experience
Cute little retro restaraunt. The food was fantastic! The service was far below par. Our waitress was rude, dismissive and generally unpleasant. We will try again in hopes of a nice experience next time because of the tasty yumminess.
The food is excellent and so is the service. Parking is a challenge but that will be solved when they move to their new location in South Pasadena sometime in the Spring of 2019.
It was iconic when I first started going about 40 years ago up until about 10 years ago. The prices skyrocketed and the service became less and less notable. Sad to see such a wonderful place fall to pieces in the end. Thanks for the memories.
Our family eats there almost every week. We like the variety of kids meals.
I've been dining here since I was 6...it's a local hangout
Having Twohey s for the first time on New Year s day. The corn hash was tasty, but a bit salty. Glad I tried this place before it closes next month.
Great food, friendly staff and out of this world desserts
New place is super cute. Sad that with the pandemic, only outdoor seating was available. It looks incredible inside. Seems that the place has new things on their menu as compared to the old building.
Old time soad a shope great food sundaes malts and ice cream floats
Food was great , service was a bit slow but overall good
This is consider the oldest restaurant in Alhambra. Old school style feel like you walk into 50 and 60's here. Staff are friendly and has traditional american food.
The restaurant is pretty big but parking lot is not great since it share with IN N Out. However there's pretty of parking on the street
Good fun, good food, attentive staff, lots of great memories over the years. Glad they're back!
You can get the best hot fudge sundaes with homemade whipped cream, served with milk or dark chocolate fudge! I always ask for a side of their raspberry sauce!
For breakfast, the prices haven risen considerably and the portions are skimpy. For what you are paying it isn't the best value. The food is just okay. Overall, I don't recommend this place for breakfast. Nice restaurant though.
