While Twitter is a great site, they fail to respond to support requests by tweet, email, or otherwise.
I called their phone, randomly picked an extension and thought I had reached them, I think it was 2104 or 2105, and whatever it was and it was an extension number close to that, instead I got McDonalds, and when I tried to explain the problem and was wanting to know what was going on the peson said 'Do you want fries with that? (Oddly, I had just had two McDonalds burgers within 20 minutes of this). Asked for a manager so I could alert her to the snafu, the employee hung up on me instead.
So this company does not care whether it lives or dies. If they don't keep their phone system in order an don't answer phones or emails, why promote yourself by paying them to promote a twet?
Other things I got were two private residences, etc.
Issue described was resolved 1/17/18 but only for some tweets and not others, but on 1/20/18, the tweet propagation and organic impressions counters failed again at roughly noon MST or slightly after. Tweeting @TwitterSupport does not work, no response whatsoever. Additionally, a Better Business Bureau complaint was filed late this week as well.
Problems recurred 1/28 abd lasted 24 hours then all normal until midday 1/29, then recurred before noon PST 1/29 and is currently ongoing. , up to an hour normally. phones there all screwed up and have been set to forwardd to random private residences and other businesses. 2102 did that just now (1/30)
Star rating for Twitter HQ appears to have been manipulated by online 'reputation managers' so it is well above what the true star rating is.
