I was locked out of my account and twitter mentioned to get it back, I need to use smartphone to unlock it. In doing so, you will need to send them your phone number to them. Last time I give my phone number to another social media, I get more telemarketer spam call. The help center is non-responsive and there is no way to get your account back thru other means.
