Was disappointed that this casino only had 2 blackjack tables open in the late evening. Had to wander around until a spot opened up.

Lost all my money. But the place is really nice. Slow cocktail waitress'. But where can you go to find a fast one? They don't exist...
First room we checked into had blood all over the kitchen counter, pretty gross, but we called the front desk and they moved us immediately to another room. Pretty good service and a nice place, pool gets too full though.
Room wa's excalent service good drunk hosts can be a little more cheerful they look so crabby and honorey like you made their day bad but otherwise very nice staff even security pass you and smile or ask how your doing and stI'll look very professional koodles to tropicana security also very professional but help full to customers I would recommend tropicana anytime for a n>ce relaxing stay
This casino treats the veterans great! Thank you Trop, you're the greatest when it comes to veteran giveaways.
Tropicana is a great getaway spot. The restaurants and buffet are very tasty and well prepared. The casino area is large with a variety of tables and slots. They also offer a bingo room. The hotel rooms are nicely decorated but not upscale. They are comfortable. The adult tower is very near the casino and the other rooms are a short walk to the main areas. They do offer valet parking or a large self service parking garage. They offer a good rewards program for the gamblers.
Stopped in for the brunch buffet and was sadly disappointed. It's small in size with very limited selections and very understaffed.
Awesome rewards with players card! Great promotions every week.
This place was nice going in the cashier's where helpful and friendly. Service with a smile. On the other hand they where short staffed on waitresses when I asked for a drink, a waitress snapped at me. She told me get my own drink and that she wasn't working my area anyways. As I walked up to the bar there was a supervisor there as I waited to order my drink she changed her attitude and called me honey and fakly asked if there was anything she could get me. I laughed and asked her where did she leave all that attitude? She looked at him then at me with the meanest look. I said No thank you for your service honey but here's a tip have a drink on me. Ppl if you don't like the job you work at then don't work there!!! Get that Money service with a smile and good customer service is a huge start! Needless to say I cashed out and took my money else where.
Nice Casino staff. But my Lord it's hard to get a drink at the bar.
Casino is nice but the champagne brunch was disgusting. Food was not fresh. Breads were hard. Bacon tasted like it was scraped from the bottom of a dirty fryer. Hot items were luke warm at best. Not much variety. Very disappointed in the meal.
Best rooms and more comps at this place than any other in Laughlin.
Was given different info when setting reservations for this weekend but not a big deal. Facility is clean but old and really starting to show it. Was there 2 yrs ago for the same event and the rooms showed a change since then. Overall it was a good stay.
Went to the pizza / Italian restaurant, hungry for their endless bowl of pasta. Menu includes salad, soup and bread sticks.
Reasonable prices for a sit down and be served restaurant.
Good place for a long weekend get away can't wait to book my next weekend here be back soon I hope
states free wifi then you get to your room and states 7.99 a day. wasnt able to use their wifi. good thing i had my verizon hot spot. they stated they were open yet all gaming tables closed. made no sense cant play cards yet pool was over filled. now throw in 1 1/2 to check in... last time im there
Rooms smell. I know it's a smoking room so it should have that hint of smoking room but it's pretty bad.
My wife and I used to love staying at the Tropicana. Unfortunately this time it was not pleasant nor did we feel accommodated. We had told the front desk that something seemed to be wrong with the toilet. Of course, the next morning the toilet backed up and started overflowing. Water reached the carpet and started going out into the hallway. Luckily I knew to shut the water valve off at the toilet to help matters. as we called the front desk it took nearly 15 minutes for a guy to show up but just a plunger. The problem was in the handle NOT something that had been flushed. Can you turn the water back down I proceeded to leave quickly saying have a nice day. my wife stopped him and asked us where are we supposed to do we're not staying in a room with wet carpets. He told us to call the front desk in which we did and they changed his rooms. we were thankful of that until we got to the next room in a non-smoking area that smelled like smoke and once again the toilet and sink were broke. Myanmar to the front desk to let them know about our issue and nothing was taken care of so we went to check out to go to a hotel room where we would not be flooded out and we could stay for the night with no worries. She informed us if we checked out early on a prepaid two-day stay they were going to charge us $50! What a freaking joke. They never offered anything as far as maybe a free meal, drink, free play, coffee, nada. Just okay here ya go and don't forget to come back tomorrow to check out or you'll be charged. There are 29 hotels in the area to have to deal with this again. And this was a special trip with the family after a marriage we're very disappointed. Hopefully the man has been at Tropicana can fix this and it hasn't happened to anybody else.
Very limited on restaurant choices. We were limited to just one or two.
The casino has the cigarette stench. Rooms are pretty basic, and have tiny windows. But I paid $30 for the room so you get what you pay for. Not luxury but it's clean and is good enough for a stay over.
I come to hear band.they never start on time . Never play whole set. Breaks are 30 40 minutes long .sometimes way to loud. I have been here since 3 and it's 6:10 and still not playing.sound .Man just sits there and not say a word.other casinos play music. NOT HAPPY
Where to begin... how about check-in? At about 7 pm on a friday. 10 registers, 2 attendants, and about 50 - 75 people in line. The attendants were nice enough, but the wait was outrageous.
We got to our room, opened the door and were hit in the face with a sour smell that was stronger than the cigarette and booze filled haze of the casino. The room was freezing and bare bones. By bare bones I mean we had to call the front desk to have a blanket brought up - which we had to sign for! I guess it's just crazy to assume a hotel room comes with a blanket?! The bedside lamp was burnt out and you couldn't really light up the room unless it was daytime and you open the blinds. Lampshades were in disrepair, but at least it looked like it had been vacuumed and the sheets had been changed.
The bathroom was another sad sight. Let's just say the entire ambience made sure you were wearing sandals at all times - no bare feet around here. The light in the bathroom was on the fritz, so it was exciting to hear my wife scream when she was in the restroom and it went pitch black sporadically. I would not have taken a bath in the tub for money, it had mold under a no slip mat that was permanently affixed. The water poorly drained and within a minute there were 2 inches of water backed up from the drain and god knows what else down the drain. I had to stand at the back of the shower and lean forward to keep from standing in the gross water.
I had read reviews that this was a decent place to stay for the price, but I my input is that unless you literally need just a place to sleep, you'd be better off staying home than paying to stay here. I would never bring my kids here, ever, and I won't be back.
Piss poor customer service at the VIP level, the poor minimum wage workers all do fine. I recommend staying elsewhere . The rooms are noisy and very dated.
Prime location on the strip. Some guest service associates don't appear to care, others can be really helpful and pleasant to speak with. Rooms are decent, though there are areas that need to be addressed (shower heads, for example). The dining experience is average.
I felt really bored there. Servers were barely walking around. I was gambling for 20 minutes and they all walked by me. I was ready to tip but hey there lose and my gain because I did win a little bit of money and LEFT.
I will never stay there again. The service was cool but the rest was horrible. We had to pay extra for WiFi per device, 1 restaurant was open while two others was closed for 2 out of the 3 days of stay. The toilet had a loud terrible noise when you flushed it. It sounded like an airplane taking off. Couldn't get no natural light in the room because it was boarded off, but still had shutters on the wall which made no sense. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.
Great selection of slots the bartenders are top notch great staff
Pretty shot out casino. Not worth the walk across the street.
Tropicana is a great, fairly inexpensive casino to visit and stay at. The rooms are nice, clean and aren't to far from the casino itself. The tropicana has more than justs slots, they also have tables and a bingo hall .The Tropicana offers multiple dining options , there restaurant an Italian restaurant, cafe and a buffet. They're players club offers various promotions like free play, slot tournaments, comps, rooms, and more. This casino has a swimming pool, arcade, and a gift shop.
Nice Hotel but food, liquor & smoked were greatly overpriced. Buy your food etc. elsewhere.
Have gone there for years. Love all the people there. Especially Gilda Perez.
Meh. Mostly every bad stereotype of the bad stuff you think of Laughlin was represented.. Bad cocktail service on a Friday night.
Easy check in, not overpriced, clean, easy check out.
Everybody is so helpful and nice, I had a great time. I'm in a wheelchair, I have no problems getting around to in my suite, bathroom very big, and clean, bed was very comfortable.
This place emits such horrible light pollution. On dark and cloudy nights you can tell where the casino is by the bright green glow in the sky miles away.
Stopped here for a night on our way to LA due to a temporary road closure. Nothing to call home about, nothing to complain about either. Decent place to stay for a night.
Everything . you can take the whole family and have a wonderful vacations
Awesome experience. Great gaming Great staff. Everything you want at a resort
One of my favorite places to stay in Laughlin! Great staff and usually open availability for rooms. Clean, family friendly and great prices.
Good place... Great service. All the employees. Amazing price for a vacation
Reasonable drink prices. Clean casino. Good selection of slot machines. Bar had a live band that played some good music. Visited family members room and it seemed nice and was clean. I would definitely stay at the Tropicana some time.
My room was not the same as pictures. Although clean, they are out dated, worn down and in need of remodel; my bed was slightly lopsided. Casino was small, so smoky everywhere due to tight compactness. The entertainment was good, service slow, and overall OK. One and done for me.
Never stayed there, but the place has always treated me well wene I stopped on by.
One of the few casinos on the strip that doesn't allow children to (linger) while passing thru the casino! Cleaner gaming area around slots!
My only problem is with the Carnegie Cafe. I noticed problems after they remodeled about one year ago. Now, the food is double the price, the service is half as good as it once was, and the staff literally does not seem to care about their service. Yesterday (10/14/19) I ordered take out (a club sandwich). After 30 minutes of waiting, I went and complained that it was taking too long. The server finally went to the back and brought out the food. I would not have minded so much if it was busy or if the server had apologized or told me why it took so long. I will continue to stay there, but I will make sure I go somewhere else for food.
First of all we paid extra to get the room with the jacuzzi. It was very old and outdated. I went To the bathroom and there was blood smeared all over the walls!! The room was FILTHY!! Then we got in the bed and there was people trash still in the bed as if the maid just made up the bed didn t change sheets. It was horrible !!! The Maids just randomly come in your room. It was just all bad. Save your money. Go somewhere else ! Tropicana be ashamed of your nasty room. !!!!
We were checked into a suite inwhich someone had been using the bed...? And had used the bathroom... It was around midnight, no other suites available to be switched to... Front desk sent a member of housekeeping to the room yet failed to inform this housekeeper of the issue which we found odd...?
So Nostalgic a place! Calm, lay back atmosphere! No tension, great off season deals! A must!
