My wife and I used to love staying at the Tropican...

My wife and I used to love staying at the Tropicana. Unfortunately this time it was not pleasant nor did we feel accommodated. We had told the front desk that something seemed to be wrong with the toilet. Of course, the next morning the toilet backed up and started overflowing. Water reached the carpet and started going out into the hallway. Luckily I knew to shut the water valve off at the toilet to help matters. as we called the front desk it took nearly 15 minutes for a guy to show up but just a plunger. The problem was in the handle NOT something that had been flushed. Can you turn the water back down I proceeded to leave quickly saying have a nice day. my wife stopped him and asked us where are we supposed to do we're not staying in a room with wet carpets. He told us to call the front desk in which we did and they changed his rooms. we were thankful of that until we got to the next room in a non-smoking area that smelled like smoke and once again the toilet and sink were broke. Myanmar to the front desk to let them know about our issue and nothing was taken care of so we went to check out to go to a hotel room where we would not be flooded out and we could stay for the night with no worries. She informed us if we checked out early on a prepaid two-day stay they were going to charge us $50! What a freaking joke. They never offered anything as far as maybe a free meal, drink, free play, coffee, nada. Just okay here ya go and don't forget to come back tomorrow to check out or you'll be charged. There are 29 hotels in the area to have to deal with this again. And this was a special trip with the family after a marriage we're very disappointed. Hopefully the man has been at Tropicana can fix this and it hasn't happened to anybody else.
