Hotel is nice and clean. Pool is great. Music and bar downstairs is nice. Some rooms can use a touch up.

It's alright if you go with your girlfriend, wife, or side-piece but not a family casino

First time staying here. Not bad would stay here again.

I think it was ok. I did not win this time but my hubby did. It was worth going, to see his face light up each time he got the bonus. Love that guy.

Nice, clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist you. Wonderful experience all around.

On a busy weekend they were very under staffed took 2hrs to get help with luggage and valet was very rude

Great place the only thing I wish they had was a poker room

Service was great and all the patrons utilized safety protocol with the COVID-19 issues.

Not too good so far, have a reservation and standing in line for at least 25 minutes so far.
Came in 2 hrs ago and line was almost out the door, went and played slots for an hour and still was a line. Only 2 people working at a counter where 5 could work. I love casinos but don't need this. Can't wait to see the buffet line!

Horrible Experience
Stayed there at the beginning of May. Woke up to our room completely flooded. Multiple leaks from the ceiling pouring water out everywhere. Water pouring from the light fixture as well. All our electronic items that had been on the dresser next to the TV were flooded and destroyed, luggage was soaked, my kids bed was soaked so they woke up drenched with no dry clothes to put on. I slipped n busted my hip and husband banged his knee trying to get to the door through the soaked floor. Security took a report and said I would be contacted by Monday by someone to replace damaged items, didn't even care that I was hurt, or even offer us lunch. It's now been over 5 weeks and not word from them. They could literally care less about their customers!!!

Very nice rooms awesome casino to gamble in very good places to eat and ice cream.. the staff are very nice and atentative to your concerns , I will always return to the Tropicana ... and don't forget about the nice pool..

Great place we stayed there for the weekend great buffet and the rooms seemed to be newly remodeled so that was a plus

We've been coming to Laughlin for 30+ years and this trip was just off, not as friendly, not as charming, not as much fun as it used to be. Not sure we'll be back here unless we're just passing through.

Ever since it was bought out by El Dorado the many changes have ALL been bad.

If you can't walk very good . It's a long walk to your room's from the Registration desk!!

Great Casino, cleanest rooms ive stayed in on the river.

I slept well but my car was broken into while I slept and it was inside the parking structure. Very personal identification was taken, copyrighted artistic properties and artists supplies.

To begin with, their customer service sucks! We booked the room 5 months early and checked in twice in the weeks prior. They added a resort fee of 6 dollars and change per day on July 1st and informed no one. My booking said I should only pay the price that they have sent me and the manager bluntly said the charge stands and there's nothing she can do, in a really crappy attitude. Come day 2, we had no hot water for 2 days, of course it was fixed before the busy weekend. Just be aware that you are being charged beyond what you are told to pay and customer service is virtually nonexistent!

Didn't have my "guaranteed" room choice, tried to upsell me more room at a higher price or stick me in a handicap room (don't like those) or a smoking room (probably smells like Cypress Hill slept there), the casino floor is 420 scented, my room door looks like it was forced open at one point. I'd pay more and stay somewhere else next time.

Tropicana in not Laughlin Nevada is a good casino really good people there I think that they have a good thing going ! ! !

We live our summers in Laughlin on weekend trips..this hotel is very nice, lively night life with bands at lounge. We always have a great time here..rooms are clean,remodeled and wont stay anywhere else!

I'm curious about the adults only elevators! Great live bands.

Actually, I'm not allowed on the premises, so I really can't admit to my ever even being there. But I still like the place.

Tropicana laughlin is always fun! Great promotional offers and great customer service.

Not nearly as crowded as Vegas. Quiet and peaceful by comparison and all casinos are within a short walk if one another.

Very very unhappy, pool and jacuzzi was closed , italian restaurant was closed, mexican restaurant closed, 7.99 for wifi, a bunch of disappointments! My first timw.in Laughlin too. Terrible customer service, was on hold for 12 minutes to speak to the manager, terrible!

It's OK came down for the river reggata that was fun the float was shorter then I though and the room cost more then it should have on a slow weekend you could get cheap rooms worth the price they try and charge

Only stopped in the casino for a quick visit. Lost about 30 bucks and high tailed out of there.

It's a clean casino, has a lot of different slot machines. Had good places to eat there & IN & OUT BURGER is next to it. Walking distance to other places if you like to walk.

Had a great time at the Tropicana went over there to gamble didn't win but had a great time. The food was absolutely great I'd recommend all the restaurants.

My husband & I LOVE it here, the Caboose Cafe is the best place to get Prime Rib, we travel from Palmdale, CA. just for an overnight stay for their dinner & their jacuzzi rooms are to LIVE for, our room overlooks the pool, the staff here is wonderful, and you meet great & informative people here too

Place is crazy busy during winter with snow birds. They're considerate of vets.

The worst casino in Laughlin Nevada.
Not once did I see anyone wipe the machines down.

My wife called the buffet and asked on the phone if they were still doing the loyal locals promotion tonight (Thursday) and was told by the buffet that they were. Instead of doing the 2-4-1 deal at the Avi, we drove to the Trop. Swiped our cards, nope, no promotion. Guess the loyalty is not the Trop to locals, but locals to the Trop. Saved us cash because we always hit the slots after we eat. Wished we had driven south to the Avi.

Great lunch/ breakfast for wife and I. Games where good to us.

We have been going to the trp for over 25 years and have enjoyed our stays. Im sorry to say the is much poorer with the exception of the prime rib. The biscuits and gravy was great
No more no sausage just plain tastless ggravy. I could go on not to mention the tight machies. We left $1500 in two days. We are goig to another hot
el the next time. gravy were the best on the river. However thats cha nged also.

I go to the Tropicana all the time and while it doesn't look great on the outside the rooms are pretty nice

Worst stay anywhere ever. My sons bed had crumbs in it and there was food on the floor. Complained 3 times they supposedly cleaned the room but there were crumbs between the sheets the second night. Guests were made to line up for elevators because,"people were crowding them." However later we discovered they weren't functioning correctly. My son, daughter and daughter in law were in an elevator that the doors shut twice with no movement , then they shut only because a "security guard" shoved on one. The doors abruptly shut on my son as he was leaving the elevator and he shoved them open so my daughter and daughter-in-law could exit. As he let go they then slammed shut again.
Next night at around 11:30 an alarm goes off and they gave no instructions on what to do for about ten minutes and in that time people began crowding the stairwells. A woman had a seizure in the hallway because of the flashing light and a staff member called security, her mom had to call 911.
The hotels answer to these problems was to lock the stairwells. I don't think that is even legal. They were locked the next day when we left. They refused to refund any money for this stay. Dirty is one thing dangerous is another!

Sucks period. The rooms are cheap and you get what you pay for. The Carnegie restaurant has Terrible service too. Don't recommend staying here at all. They gouge for Wifi too if you are a guest.

We really liked the hotel, clean, plenty of employees , great vacation.

Very clean, quiet, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, everything was white and stained free. My sister and I enjoyed our room. Downstairs was really fun

Friday night seafood buffet was fresh and awesome.

Very disappinted with Tropicanas dishonesty! We checked in and the staff failed to tell us that the pool is closed and the water cannot be consumed. According to the Las Vegas Water District you shouldn't shower, wash your hands or drink the water. This is an issue for almost all of Laughlin, so I understand it's out of the Tropicanas control. However, the Tropicana was very sneaky and dishonest by not informing us about the problems before we checked in. Because we weren't aware until after we checked in the Tropicana would not let us out of our reservation without financial penalty. So now we are stuck here at least for tonight 6/24/18, we are not able to shower and are having to brush our teeth and wash our hands with bottled water. This is a family trip for us (with kids) and the whole trip was planned around the pool. Harrahs pool is working and we would have gone there, however, as I stated Tropicana won't let us out of our reservation, so we're stuck for tonight.

It's ugly, run down, stinks like cigarets everywhere you go, and there's way way way way way too many kids. and the pool needs a lot of updating

Loved it! Everyone has gone out of their way to give us superior service. Buffet is excellent and they have wonderful Bands at night. Will be back.

Rooms are nice and clean. Casino is lots of fun. Great vacation spot.

It was good times with my kiddos fir the night! Went swimming all day and the pool was clean too.

Decor was cute. Front desk staff I dealt with was friendly. Took more than half an hour to wait for my deposit back so I would recommend using a card. The pool was closed most of our stay so our kids were bored. The bright color in the casino was nice compared to all the ones in the area that are usually dark. Seafood buffet was really good.

The Tropicana is always a great experience! The rooms are very comfortable and extremely well maintained. There is a wide variety of excellent dining choices available at a very reasonable price. The gaming choices and comps are outstanding. The hotel has recently added free in-room wifi, which is a big bonus!!

This place is awesome! I seem to be able to win a little bit more gambling here. Nice variety of restaurants to choose from.

Room is a bit worn down, but it has decent living quarters.

ME & MY WIFE STAYED THERE FOR 3 DAYS. OUR FIRST ROOM STINKED AN WAS FALLING APART. OUR SECOND ROOM THE BATTERY DIED ON THE DOOR AN THERE WAS A BAT IN OUR ROOM. I STAFF WAS NOT VERY FRIENDLY.

Not a fan of casinos but as casinos go, this one is relatively comfortable. Came mostly because The Steakhouse used to be very good and we wanted a return visit. It's still good but not as stellar as it was a decade ago.

It's a great place and the staff was very great to deal with especially the girls at rhe front desk!
