Rooms were very nice and clean. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant called The Poolside Cafe has absolutely the best bagels I've ever eaten! The jalapeno cheese bagel with the jalapeno bacon cream cheese was FANTASTIC!
The only complaint I have is that beverage service is scant and the casino was lacking air conditioning.

Book the trip for my family. My sons had their own room and we had ours. We hadn t booked our own personal room for the second night and wanted to the evening before because we had an 8 am appointment to pick up our boat rental. They said we would have to wait till 9 am to speak with someone about our players points and to book a room so we wait till 9am and get told to call a phone number that they can t handle on site? The phone number said we would be on hold for at least 30 minutes. So out of frustration we ended up paying twice the price of the night before for the same room. I say always book on Hotels.com for way better rates. And I checked into the COVID restrictions and closures. They said all restaurants were open except the steak house. Nope, only the cafe & coffee shop snack counter was open. The arcade was closed as well.
If we could have been helped onsite for the room and the restaurants & arcade would have been opened as said on their website it would have been a much better experience for my family.

Great place to meet friends. We have been visiting here for more than 20 years. Everyone working there delivers 5 star service and a lot of them go out of their way to do even more. We love staying.

Me and my family stayed here for two nights and had seven rooms Wed-Fri this past week. Customer service by staff was horrendous, very rude and unfriendly. If it wasn't for the river we wouldn't have came. Never again will we stay at the Tropicana @Laughlin

The Tropicana was easy to spot pulling into town as it is sitting away from the other hotels. The parking situation was good. Check in was slow, but consistent with other hotels. The room I selected was a king with a view. The room was nice but the view was of the other Tropicana building. The Casino was nice with plenty of room to gamble. There are plenty of amenities on site or in close proximity to the hotel. Weather was inclement while we stayed so, so we were uhh unable to use the pool, but we had a nuce view of it from the room and it appeared to be nice. We had a great time and would return. The only reasons this was not a 5 star trip was because of some minor cleaning or housekeeping issues I we noticed onsite. Nothing to get into extreme detail about, but we spotted dirt where we expected to see clean surfaces a few times. We also did not enjoy the dinner we ordered at the 24 hour restaurant on location, but the desert was great. Overall I enjoyed this place and I plan to return and will be looking for the 5 star experience.

Rooms were good except for the green lights shining through the windows. It made it hard to fall asleep. Seriously, who puts green flood lights shining directly into the windows of the guests? Staff were friendly.

If this hotel was a car it would be one step below a Yugo. This is actually the worst hotel/casino I ve been in. I went to one in Alabama that had more class. I was told on the phone that the rooms in my tower had been renovated. Must have been done back in the 90 s. The chewing gum in the carpet looks ten years old. I was in the military for 23 and never stayed in a hotel this run down. The beds didn t even have bed spreads on it. Just sheets. Peeled paint and old cracked fixtures must be some kind of retro design that I m not hip to. And please don t look behind the nightstand. Must be 15 years of dust and lost scraps of paper, hair and god knows what else that was. Rooms are a total thumbs down.
Getting on the elevator on the second day. Several nice liquified piles of dog poop awaited me as the doors open.
No place to get a quick bite to eat. Just sit down restaurants. And don t think about eating at Carnegie s Cafe for dinner. The food is good but the staff is slow, rude, clueless, and just plain awful. Breakfast service was good.
My advice...stay anywhere else!

UPON CHECKING IN THE DESK CLERK WAS NOT FRIENDLY OR NICE! THE ROOM WAS A NICE SIZE AND CLEAN. WE STAYED 5 NIGHTS AND THE SHEETS WERE NEVER CHANGED! THE DINING WAS VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE. WE ATE AT THE BUFFET, THE FOOD WAS NOT VERY GOOD AND THE PRICE FOR LUNCH FOR 2 PEOPLE WAS $40. WE ATE IN THE CAFE AND AT HOME IN YUMA, AZ WE COULD HAVE HAD A STEAK AND LOBSTER FINE DINING DINNER FOR THE AMOUNT WE PAID FOR 2 SANDWICHES AND A SOFT DRINK.

WE HAVE BEEN GOING TO LAUGHLIN FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND THIS WAS THE WORST TRIP WE HAVE EVER HAD. THE PRICE FOR THE ROOM WAS $80 PER NIGHT! WE WILL CONTINUE GOING TO LAUGHLIN BUT WILL NOT BE STAYING AT THE TROPICANA. WE CHECKED AROUND AND THERE ARE OTHER HOTELS THAT ARE MUCH CHEAPER. WE ATE AT OTHER HOTELS AND THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL AND ABOUT HALF THE PRICE!

UPON ARRIVING HOME WE HAD RECEIVED TWO CARDS IN THE MAIL FROM THE EDGEWATER HOTEL AND THE GOLDEN NUGGET BOTH OFFERING US FREE ROOMS. ONE OF THOSE IS WHERE WE WILL BE STAYING ON OUR NEXT VISIT TO LAUGHLIN!

I have no negative say about resort or casino. I do enjoy the bands. Food is good at the poolside. Just some the staffing doesn't make you feel welcome. Or get the feeling y oi u like tonwork with them.

This is the only place I stay when I go to Laughlin. The riverside hotels are housings for the bro and their bro hoe douchbags. Lifted trucks, board shorts, tank tops and Sun glasses...Thats what you see at those hotels. Rude moronic people. At the Tropicana you get the older crowd. Clean, low noise, quiet nights, relaxing. They have nice restaurants and clean gambling areas. I recommend this place over any other.

We have stayed at just about every hotel in Laughlin, and finally gave Tropicana a try. What a mistake! Old casino with boring games. Outdated rooms and accommodations. The food places were not even good! To many uphill parts getting to your room and garage to your car. The check in staff were not welcoming at all! And denied us of our $10.00 breakfast voucher too! I mean come on Tropicana, honor what you advertise as a room package, without calling your guests liar's! In closing, stay at Aquarius, we will never stay in another hotel, the Aquarius has it all, so spend the extra 20 or so bucks and stay in style, don't settle for Tropicana's low rate, it's not worth it!

Fun energized environment always have something going on between Bingo and Free Live music at Tangos lounge. Can grab a quick bite to eat at the Poolside cafe right next to it or dine in at Carnegies cafe located just on the other side.

I got double charged both on the card I made the reservation with and once I got to the hotel to check in. Both cards were charged full price for 2 rooms plus cleaning deposits. I am having a heck of a time trying to sort it out between my bank, Tropicana, and my credit card company. Tropicana front desk is very hard to get a hold of, disorganized and did not even attempt to help me sort it out. They just kept saying, call your bank, it's not us. Well turns out it was Tropicana, and now I have had to cancel debit cards, contest charges, spend hours on the was over charged for my rooms but they reversed the charges. Took a few weeks but they took care of it. Thank Tropicana staff, you guys are amazing!

Best hotel in Laughlin in my opinion. Extremely clean. Various options for restaurants. Clean pool. The rooms in the adult tower we're recently remodeled I recommend asking for the adult tower.

Not sure how to rate this hotel, the room I stayed at was acceptable but others in my party were not. They had food available 24/7 but it definitely wasn t the best. We actually went to other casinos for their food. But over all it was as expected from Laughlin.
