"DEVISTATING" This place is terrible, terrible enough for me to write my first review of an establishment. Upon check in there was a line that was 10-15 people trying to check in which isn't excessive. What made the situation bad was the fact that there were two receptionists and one assistant manager available to check people in; instead of processing the incoming guests, the assistant manager was busy instructing one of the receptionists through an administrative hiccup with a pretty angry tone for the entire thirty minutes that I waited in line. Her verbal berating of the junior receptionist not only lengthened the wait time, it caused a call build up that was never dealt with. When I opened the door to my room there were multiple stains on the ground, the smell of mold and possibly past medical emergencies. The linens were of the lowest quality possible, resembling a hospice bed. The shower leaked all night and had a little clump of hair for me to dodge while I bathed. The toilet required multiple flushes to get a square of toilet paper to go down. The below window air conditioner unit roared through the night struggling to maintain below 73 degrees in the room, and finally the wifi is no where close to cheap. I went down stairs for a drink and watched the bar tender pass me by for 20 minutes before I gave up and walked away. The food was below the level of quality expected for human consumption. I'm in the military and I've eaten dinner in multiple austere training environments, this food was 100 times worse. Finally, I checked out of my room yesterday morning and fond out today that I was never checked out. This place deserves to go the way of blockbuster, taxi cabs, and dinosaurs. It's a terrible money grab that is run by an understaffed group of disgruntled workers. DO NOT STAY HERE. A personal note to the Tropicana Laughlin- You're literally the worst hotel ever. I'm saying this in the most sincere and non joking manner ever. I hope your hotel fails.
