Kind of smells run down compared to other hotels in area I've walked through. Power outage first night and people said it happens often. Very basic rooms and bedding.

THE GAME PLAY WAS GOOD, ATMOSPHERE WAS GOOD, AND THE WEATHER WAS GOOD.
THE CASINO IS AGED AS I REMEMBER, YET CLEAN..
WILL RETURN ON OUR NEXT TRIP OUT WEST.
The room was hot, the ac was blowing hot air, never got fresh towels even after calling the front desk several times, the front desk lady was nice. Would not stay here again.
Great Casino in Laughlin good gambling, great restaurant and Buffet
Forced into a smoking rooms so that sucks but everything else is great.
Rate 2 stars due to the cleanliness of the room. It looked like nothing was ever wiped down as long as it was there, dried gunk and dust mounds on everything, didn t want to sit anything on the furniture. The bathroom floor and counter were covered in hair when we got into the room, had to wipe everything down. Trash on the floor in every corner of the room like it s never seen a vacuum (paintbrush, beads, bottle cap wrappers, pregnancy test box top, etc.). Had to move the bedside table and unplug the alarm to find an outlet in a useful area, umm disgusting, that s all I ll say! A little disappointing that the pool is in an area that gets absolutely no sun after 1:30pm.
The casino is really nice. The restaurants average, and the rooms marginal. The elevators are from hell, and the pool is substandard.
Had a ball at a discount. Nice place. Very good service big bang for the buck.
My family and I decided to stay in Laughlin for my mother's birthday as it is one of our favorite quick getaway destinations outside of Vegas. We went to the Tropicana where we were having a great time playing 3 card poker, one of my favorite games, which we were teaching my parents to play. The first dealer was nice enough to help explain a hand or 2 for my parents to understand the gist. Unfortunately the dealers switched soon after we sat down. Enrique was the name of the new dealer. We all said hello to him and made small talk where he then completely ignored us. My family and I shrugged it off and continued to play. I asked Enrique a question and he just shrugged his shoulders. At this point I realized that he was only going to deal us cards and not much else. So be it. My mom and dad still being new to the game would ask us questions and we of course help them, They are my PARENTS! Enrique then FINALLY decided to be vocal and tell us we can't show cards or talk about the them, grabbed the sign with the rules and stuck it in front of us, in the rudest manner possible. We said ok no problem and continued to play. He dealt us another hand, we despite Enriques nasty disposition, were having a great time, my parents were winning, they were happy. My husband had his hand, he wasn't hiding it but wasn't showing it to anyone either, Enrique then called the pit boss over and said, I told these people that can't do this or that and they aren't listening.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? first of all, we did NOTHING WRONG, secondly NO OTHER DEALERS have ever made an issue about hiding your cards. We stopped showing them anyway my husband was NOT showing us his cards! I DON'T come out and spend a lot of money with my family ON MY MOTHER'S BIRTHDAY to be talked down to and berated like I'm a small child or beneath him! This man has NO BUSINESS working with the public as he is rude and has NO PEOPLE SKILLS AT ALL! I am an adult, my parents are senior citizens and deserve to be regarded with RESPECT! My parents were upset, I was angry. They guy treated us like we were trash that walked in off the street! We are far from it and regardless, a patron is a patron. This man needs some serious training on how to deal with and speak to people who are there to have a great time and spend money in their establishment! My family and I immediately let our dissatisfaction be known and left the entire hotel. That man chased off an entire table of paying/playing patrons!!! We will not be returning!
Horrible experience from the beginning. Started by double booking us and had to change rooms. Confusion over the reservations all with a bad attitude twords us.
Good restaurants great steakhouse find entertainment all you need in one place
Not worth it. A very low bar. Look for a nicer place. Can't believe this anyone would credit this hotel with more than 2 stars. On par with a cheap moe moe. The air conditioner was good. The bed is very low quality. Furniture out dated old. Take your money elsewhere.
Old and dirty rooms, huge line by checking in, grumpy employees and bad service towards customers
My stay at the Tropicana is pleasent I have a nice view of the water, room is clean and the food is good. Will come back again
Great view awesome service good atmosphere parking elevators are kinda junky but other than that it was great.
Had the best time. Rented a Cabana at the pool and totally worth it. Great breakfast at the carnigee.
Food in cafe was horrible and overpriced. Room was run down, stained carpet, broken vanity, filthy bathroom. Asked maid for extra coffee was told I had to call housekeeping for anything from shampoo to clean linens even though she had everything on her cart. I had three free days I left without staying even one. Rather pay a fair price for a nice place then stay free in a dump!
We stayed one night while passing through town. The room was clean and the needs were comfortable, nothing special. However, the woman who checked us in was rude to my husband when he confirmed that we were getting a non-smoking room.
The hotel of hell! Made reservations for a non-smoking room due to my Asthma- they didn't care they didn't accomodate - response is # at bottom of disclaimer it states not guaranteed. So sad bc I have and they weren't willing to assist with find a new hotel. Had to stay and use my emergency inhaler - got to the room- flushed the toilet and the pipes had a whistle like sound- tub clogged up and to top it off fire alarm went off- worst experience
Great location to the river and other hotels. Right in the middle. Overall casino is nice, but don't expect Vegas. Rooms in Promenade Tower were large and clean. Pool is small. Checking in was quick, despite long lines and interaction with staff was good.
Casino feels dated (faded carpet, musty smoke smell, dirty walls/old wallpaper, etc) time for some TLC and updates. With that said the prices are reasonable and the amenities aren't bad. The pool side cafe was a nice place for doughnuts and coffee. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the rooms are a bit noisy from other tenants. The blackout curtains did work exceptionally well, lol. The pool is small and not well heated for winter swims.
Not a bad place for a cheap casino trip in Laughlin, just don't expect a modern well maintained facility.
Comps and staff are a clear level below that of Harrahs down the road. I've tried to play here a few times and it's just not as engaging or fun, and the food options are poor.
Was nice. Would stay again, but know there are updates needed within the rooms. For the cost, the rooms were very underwelming. The casino was fun. The live music at the bar was nice. We ate breakfast at the buffet and also just okay. Nothing wowed us here, but we would stay again.
I love the hotel. The staff (room, valet, bell) was great. Front desk personnel need some retraining. The lounge is fantastic like always, the steakhouse and Italian restaurant is phenomenal..
Very clean nice view of the river from the 23rd floor
Don't eat at the "Loading Dock". Over priced, tasteless food and poor service.
It's a nice place to go and have fun with friends and family
I stay there often, wish they'd upgrade their rooms and let us win a little .
The Tropicana is not right on the river walk; it's across the street from the river. The nicest thing about this hotel is that if you stay in the front, East, Adults only tower you can get to the restaurants or gaming with only a very short walk from your hotel room. As I have often traveled with my elderly parent, and a disabled husband, this short walk allowed us to come to Laughlin when it would have been impossible with the longer walks necessary in the other hotels. The staff here has always been very kind about accommodating my special needs people. I appreciate their kindness.
Nice place, was only there to check it out for the next time we're looking for a place to stay.
Nice place! Good restaurant. I mainly go for the Laughlin International Film Festival which has this hotel as home base every year
Lively casino. Snack foods and both buffet and restaurants ..Rooms also offered.
We love our hotel stay and all staff members are great and know us from coming to your hotel ..we also love the bingo hall and staff ...can't wait for new bingo hall to open...the cafe has great food and fried zucchini.. The bagel store is great too and friendly..we love your rooms and staff members ..bingo at the tropicana is my Disneyland ...thank you for giving us great offers...one thing buffet could be a little better and cheaper during lunch...its a poor selection for the price...but we love Tropicana family
Went here on vacation with family. Had the best time. Definitely will come back for more
Didn't stay here, just went in for drinks and gambling. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Stopped in to go to Barley Brothers pub. First thing that kinda made me unhappy was they had ONE beer by Barley Brothers and 15 or so other beers from around the country on tap. I have had there beers before at lake Havasue location and was looking forward to those very good beers......had to settle for others.
NOW as for the food there and the service they were FANTASTIC. Fast well prepared and very impressive plating. Get those BB beers here on tap and heck I'll plan more trips here besides the bike run.
Stop in try the flatbread pizza it's freaking awesome.
Great experience here over the weekend. The hotel shuttle picked us up at airport and dropped us off as well as picking us up and dropping us off at the Kid Rock concert. Check in and check out took about 5 minutes or less. All the staff was very courteous and helpful with recommendations. Room was spacious and clean with a view of the pool and casinos. This location is centrally located we were able to walk to the trails to hike and6 enjoy all the surrounding casinos.
We didn't gamble here, we just came in to look inside. Actually, I think it's one of the cleanest casino's in Laughlin. I'd come back and spend more time in it next time.
I absolutely love this hotel. The buffet is amazing and even though the casino is small it has many great slots. The hotel is also quiet and relaxing.
Great variety of penny slots. Good speed with cocktails on the casino floor. Many food options!
Nice, clean hotel. We watched March Madness at the Brew Brother's to grab some drinks. Air circulation isn't very good and the area was stuffy. We had good service and we're taken care of nicely.
Clean, friendly, and excellent service. Asked for change of room due to bad back. They immediately changed rooms for us
Stayed for two nights, the rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, check in was quick and maid service was fast and effiecent.
Nice and clean beds are comfortable and the pillows were just right.
# nice clean place good service , gamers be advise , there video games or set to be Very stingy !
The rooms were very cheerful and bright.the beds were comfortable there is a great selection of dining choices here.be sure to try "taqueria del rio" for the best posole in town this is my favorite place to stay in Laughlin
Avoid on Saturdays, no winning machines noted during this visit and tables were tight too. Dropped $350 in less than an hour:(
Good food at buffet and at the little restaurant next to it. Fun active casino.
Las Vegas for the older generation. It is horrible loud inside the hotel and casino. Everywhere is a disgusting smell of cigarette smoke.
Nice casino. Friendly and clean. Winds this time of year can be a challenge for RVers with slide covers. Take care one of mine was torn by high winds before I could close the slide.
Terrible service. Employees are not american, Can't speak english, or they can, but not happy working for the terrible pay the non americans have forced them to except . Casinos for got about service.
Went to Carnegie Cafe for breakfast. Asked for water with no ice and coffee, with my meal. Got the coffee and water full of ice. Asked again for water with no ice, which never came. After considerable time, noticed that only a couple of tables in the cafe, which was relatively full, had food. Figured we'd have a long wait, so paid for the coffee and left.
OK rooms. No wifi. Very crowded but was expected on July 4th. Lack of wifi causes one star to be missing. It's 2018 wifi should be free everywhere.
The atmosphere is different more enjoyable, the crowd of people seemed to have swayed in a better way since the pandemic perhaps.Sweet Jesus
The rooms were run down and did not get enough attention when it came to housekeeping. Their steakhouse was awful. Food was cold, no flavor and the service was nonexistent. Will never go back.
This Casino has all the amenities available like others on Casio drive in Laughlin, NV except it is situated on the east side by itself, has parking right adjacent to the Casino and the rooms are in the tower just a short distance from the elevators of the parking structure, Ample parking for Jet Ski's and boats.
Very convenient for a elederly persons or persons with disabilities or anyone with a lot of luggage etc.
The best part of the Casino is the area of the bar where there is live band which plays very good music and therefore is a social gathering places for locals and visitors.
There is also live music on the outside of the Casino where the in-house Casino train stops are located facing Casino Drive.
Their Buffett is good and well priced and also have a few good dine in restaurants.
The gift shop has good variety and decent price.
Overall a good place to visit or stay.
We went to have crab legs at the buffet and they were closed We asked a worker about it and he told us they will not reopen because the new owners dont want to. They had the best crab leg buffet in any of the Casino's and the cheapest too.
