No extra blankets when we requested them. Food service personnel in the Mexican restaurant was not very pleasant. Other staff was helpful and friendly at the check in desk. Concert venue was not bad for the ticket price (The Midnighters). Nothing really too bad for us not to return.
Cozy friendly place, the buffet has gradually gone down hill, but I still patronize it. I stay here at least once yearly, enjoy the experience.
The only casino in Laughlin not facing the river. The rooms are older and dated. Avoid the buffet.
So let me explain my 5 star rating and what brought me to this. I had booked 2 rooms for a few nights on a promotion that was mailed to me - great, free rooms! A day before our trip, I had to cancel my room but my wife was still going to attend because she was meeting some family members there. I called in to the reservations desk and a kind woman by the name of Yolanda answered. Let me tell you, Yolanda provided the BEST customer service experience ever. Between cancelling one room, updating payment info and simply just taking care of us as guests, she went above and beyond. Extremely kind, patient and willing to help as best as she can. If you're lucky enough, Yolanda will answer your call and take great care of you. This is what my review is primarily based on.
The hotel itself isn't bad. I've stayed there in the past and have had an amazing time. From the food to the actual gaming selection, it was all great. Most would agree that Laughlin falls in comparison to the likes of Vegas, but that's the cool thing - slower pace, not as busy or crowded, and all in all, much more enjoyable.
We stayed there for 3 days the room was clean and in the Gambling Hall the machines were very tight. We did not see anyone winning anything at all. I would not go back there to gamble again.
Nice, if you've been to the one in vegas there is no comparing of course.
Dirty, dingy, stinky rooms. Waited in line for over an hour to check in. 2 people only working front desk. The only fun room/arcade for kids was a joke. Half the games didn't work and the other half stole their money and the games froze up. The beverage service in the casino is non-existent. Whole sections of the parking garage were filled with construction equipment and materials. Definitely not staying here again.
This is our go to place to stay when we come to Laughlin. Nice rooms, great place to play.
Rooms are dirty and old furniture, hairs on bathroom floors, spend the extra money and get an updated room somewhere else

Won t be staying here anymore. Was playing blackjack at a 5.00 table. In the middle of playing they raised it to a 10.00 table. Everywhere else you re grandfathered in if you were at the table. Not here! They can keep this place
Good room with a nice view. We reserved a non smoking room but they only had smoking when we got there.
Great place lots of fun. Try the Italian restaurant. Yummy!

The steak restaurant was horrible when we told the management of the steak house it even got worst ...lack of caring attitude was every where in that restaurant been coming here for 4 years next year we will try a different hotel tired of the attitude we get here and we've been coming here for over 4 years for super bowl weekend
A million times better than Vegas, only a 105 dollars an that's on a weekend with a 30 dollar deposit, rooms are huge an clean, way to go Laughlin Tropicana, plus you don't need a major credit card, it's like being in a 5 star hotel, Tropicana in Laughlin you are the best. The machines are frustrating when it comes to pressing the number pad to enter pin # for player account.they definitely need to be looked at and also the genre of live music is usually blues or rock..not much else.

Trop is the only casino my husband and I will play at. The machines are great. They have the best perks etc.
However if you go on a weekday, dont accpect a drink anytime soon. Thats the only reason I give them 4 stars.

The staff was okay. The parking was too far from the hotel and the only way to get a luggage cart was to use the valet. But the worst thing about the hotel was that it was filthy. The toilet was dirty, the carpet was torn and hadn't been vacuumed, it was so dusty and I found a pen inside the sheets, so obviously the sheets weren't changed from the previous guests. Way overpriced. Very disappointed.

The stay is wonderful and the food and slot machines are great.
We arrived Friday evening, or toilet backed up Saturday morning, took two calls to the front desk and two hours for a man to show up with a plunger, I had to ask for house keeping to come and clean the bathroom as the toilet had over flowed, Sunday it happens again, same man comes in with a plunger says he will have housekeeping come up, housekeeping showed up, picked up the towels on the bathroom floor leaves clean towels and leaves. Never cleaned the mess in the bathroom so we went and bought stuff to clean the bathroom. At check out on Monday I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not available so the young lady asked me what the problem was, I explained it to her and all she said was I'm sorry is that all? Really?

Went for the river regatta. Check in and out went quick. Nice pre regatta party on Friday night. Bus to event was clean and well organized. Rooms are decent. 2 of the 3 tables I gambled at friendly dealers. Would stay again.

This was a nice casino in a good location. Room was clean and you can tell they had been renovated in the last couple years. Bed was comfy and everything was in there and operated as you'd expect. The Italian restaurant in there had some of the best pizza I've ever had and the salad bar was nice and cheap. Casino floor was lively and roomy. Parking was more than adequate. Overall it was a great experience and I'd highly recommend.

Live it here, everyone is so nice, the pool is great, I don't gamble but it's clean around the floors. The hotel rooms are clean and don't smell their was a time I stayed and the bed was wet but they promptly fixed the problem I just called the front desk. No one will deliver pizza I found out (lol) the restaurants in and around are great! Try the buffet!

Tropicana has forgotten its roots its roots are real Americans veterans now all they play is Mexican music hip hop nobody wants to hear that garbage the people who come to Tropicana are usually over 70 they want to hear country do you have to take a poll to know this
The deluxe rooms could be a little nicer considering they didn't seem very deluxe at all and add more towels in the bathrooms.
Cheap room rate, king size bed, but no mini fridge, weak water pressure, no coffee maker,.... Over all good experience with the hotel staff and room cleanliness.
Very warm, need to turn A.C. down... Wasn't too much of a difference from inside and outside. Had to leave with it being warm.
