Other than them forgetting about us in the restaurant for over 1 hour at lunch time on 25th Oct, the stay was fine. I got a bottle of wine as compensation for the delay and the manager offered his apologies. Beyond that the hotel is nice, central and the club floor is good.
Friendly, professional & very nice welcome by the reception & hotel staff! Getting a room with faced twin tower view will not disappoint you. Overall very satisfied, can do better on the cleanliness (1 of the bath towel with dirt/blood stain), replace in 10mins after call. The hotel guests can take the buggy car to Suria KLCC for free, which schedule every 5-10mins except raining, the service will temporarily stop. Compliment car parking subject to availability. Lastly, the breakfast is really Great, both quality & varieties, the best ever hotel breakfast I had, heard it is the best in town!

We had a reasonably good experience however we had to wait very long before we could check in to our room. As we were coming in to just stay one night so the whole one day experience was very important to us. But we were expected to wait almost 2 hours in the Traders Lounge due to the delay in cleaning both the suites. By the way we booked 2 suites much in advance (almost a month or 3 weeks in advance). I think when you already know the guest has booked in advance, there must be a contingency plan to make sure the room is available at 2 pm (assuming normal check in time in most hotels) regardless whatever issues the hotel was having. Great drinks at the bar, decent prices. Location isn't that near to public transport but it is connected to KLCC which has a link bridge to the monorail and pavilion shopping mall which are respectively around a 10 and 15 minute walk away.
The hotel ambience, location and facilities were good. I do enjoy the stay. However I would strongly encourage receptionist staff to be trained on customer service skills. I was attended by a female staff (think her name is Tracy if I didn t recalled wrongly) for check in on 6 Nov. She wasn t that friendly as she didn t greet nor wished me well. On the other hand, the male staff (Fauzie) greeted me and wished me well on the day I checked out on 8 Nov. Thumbs up to Fauzie.
Very cool. Cool view of the towers. Breakfast was not taken, I can not evaluate. The only negative is that when registering, they block the deposit on the card, then return within 3-4 weeks, but they do not warn about it.
One of the best hotels located in Kuala Lumpur if it is the best in all respects, views, breakfast, place and treatment and there are rooms overlooking other features vip of the place of the coffee and tea is open and the time of the afternoon cocktail eating and eating Kvayev in the round 32 very, very excellent. The employee Idris Khalouk and Khaddoum speaks Arabic in the hotel ..

Petronas has a location where you can see the towers from the most beautiful place. Hotel price cheaper than moderate turkiyede. Do not hesitate to book here without hesitation. Don't take breakfast because at the price of the hotel you are making the same breakfast at a price of 4 te 1 at the bottom of the hotel.

Located in KLCC Park, all rooms have twin towers. All guests are welcome to use the 32nd floor lounge free of charge, and the lounge features simple breads, snacks and sodas and coffee. It is close to the train, the view is good and the breakfast is delicious. Especially the fruit juice that you change is good.
Located in the middle of the city, walking distant to KLCC. It's a convenient place to stay with good facilities & hospitality if u are looking forward to explore the KL city. Taxi is also easy to get.

Here s a 3 star rating for a 5 star hotel that s a little below expectations. Let s start with my first meal at their dining area, Gobo Chit Chat. I ordered at 2pm after peak hours. It took half hour for a simple club sandwich to arrive and my iced-water 5 minutes later. That s 35 minutes for plain iced-water and only after I asked to speak to the manager. And they have the nerve to tell me they mixed up my order with room service.
The buffet on the other hand is quite good with a huge variety of dishes. Seafood seems to be their strong point as there s always a few different style of fish dishes and they are quite well prepared. See the photos I included.
The meeting they turned off the air-cond midway through my meeting! It wasn t turned down. It was totally shut off! There s really no reason to completely shut off the air-cond!
They have the smallest toilets and if you re at one of their meeting rooms on the 31st floor, pity you: you gotta walk down the corridor to get to the lift, get to your room to use the toilet, then back to the lift (which takes its own sweet time to arrive) So much time wasted. Otherwise, they tell you to go up to 5th floor for another narrow toilet experience. Another toilet at the business centre has a toilet that can fit only 2 people at a time.
When you arrive to check-in, there s no reception at the lobby. You ll have check-in on the 5th floor to check-in.
Now there s the issue about the staff performance. I had a presentation at 5.30pm but they only begin setup at 5.20pm. So of course they didn t manage to get my setup ready on time. By 6pm they said they need to go look for the projector s remote! That s 30 minutes past my presentation time and they are off to another floor trying to locate the projector s remote.

8-minute walk from KL Twin Tower, the hotel also provides buggy service.
1. Arrived at 12pm for check in, no room available. Fine because it supposed to be at 2pm. Counter said will give a call when ready, how ever no call received until I went back to counter at 5pm. Only then they said, oh ya room is ready .
2. Staff at the check in counter told that they will combine the twin bed into one king size since no king bed room available. Once entered the room, it still the same twin bed apart instead of the combined.
3. Room 11xx was smelly, musty and not comfortable to breath. Went down again to counter and request for room change. Too bad they said no room available, however will send an air purifier to remove the bad smell. Room change only possible in the next day :( I have to sleep uncomfortably the whole night since the air purifier not really helping.
I m not happy and expecting a better quality and service from Traders Hotel.
Super conveniently located right next to KLCC hall 1. They offers buggy service to Suria KLCC (shopping mall with fashion stores, groceries, restaurants etc). The suite room is spacious with tv in both living room and bedroom. Walk in closet also has a separate dressing table (nice touch). Bath salt is available too. Breakfast selection is limited but they offers a wide variety of fresh juices (water melon, apples, carrot etc). Highly recommended for people who needs easy access to KLCC.

Spend the weekend over here. Rooms wasnt up the expectation. It has a strong dirty odour to it. However the reception and buffet was good. Overall falls below the 5 star expectation.

Lovely hotel, located in a wonderful position in KLCC relative to Petronas Towers. Room was clean and spacious, and we were looked after on our honeymoon. It is a little annoying having to go through metal scanners each time we entered the building, however the hotel rooms and friendliness of staff made up for that.

I only stay at Traders when the Shangri-La is fully booked. Because the service, food and rooms are sub-standard at Traders. I used the Mobile app to book, check-in and check-out this stay. On arrival there was no one at the Mobile check in desk in the lobby to give me my room key, so I had to go to the reception desk to get my key anyway; strike one. My room was poorly maintained, one of the dresser drawers would not stay closed so I used a piece of furniture to block it closed. One of the closed doors would also not stay latched making the inside light stay on, so I unfastened the light bulb so I could sleep. And inside the second closet a electrical transformer of some type constantly made a very loud humming sound. No solution there. I also tried to order scrambled eggs in the lounge for breakfast, but they looked so grey and dirty, like they were made in a dirty pan, that I just got up and left. Then I made my final mistake by using mobile check-out and indicated to send me my hotel bill by email. Of course I have not received my bill. So I called the Golden Circle help desk who advised me the hotel would have to be contacted again and then they would send me my receipt. I'm still waiting for that. I also asked to speak with the help desk manager, but was told she was not there. I made that call at 12:15pm this Saturday.
You need to get on top of the situation at Traders, a couple of the people I met in the very slow elevators also had their complaints.
I remain a constant patron at Shangri-la because of the exceptional service at your other properties, and I am saddened to see a keystone property like the Traders KL being run down and poorly managed.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We reached much early than expected, and got an early check in which was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. However, not sure why we were given only 1 room key and 1 electricity key. It became inconvenient when I wanted to split ways with my friend.
As part of our family holiday to Borneo we stayed in Kuala Lumpur on our return back to the UK and we couldn't have stayed in a better location as the views of the Twin Towers were stunning from the hotel room along with the park and dancing fountains which came to life in the evening. The staff were all really friendly and the buggy service to KLCC was a nice touch for hotel guests. We had one night in the hotel and the Sky Bar was a must with excellent views over KL enjoying a cocktail next to the pool.
if we are back in KL we would definitely stay at the Traders again.

Having said all that, the pool is pointless, inappropriate and should simply be removed. We did enjoy a day at the Shangri La pool though. Ultimately, if ever developing the hotel, be ambitious and build a pool deck out over the top of the adjacent conference centre! Also, I am beyond bars like the skybar. Why waste the resource that is the Traders Lounge though? It could easily be provided with a cash bar without losing the club evening drinks and canapes session so that there was somewhere more convivial to meet for a drink and relax. NB if you ever did this - no silly prices. Even your promo prices in the skybar are daft.
Very comfortable, located right in the center of KL, adjoining the park and a very short walk across the park to KLCC and the Petronas Towers. The staff were very friendly, and despite arriving past 1 am, upgraded me to a room with a king-size bed (I previously was booked on my own in a room with two singles) with an amazing view of the Towers. The bed was very comfortable, shower was hot and powerful and the towels were soft. I didn't have the breakfast but made good use of the small gym. They had a problem with me walking on the treadmill in my sandals until I contacted the gym manager and there were no light weights for walking. The swimming pool had a nice view but could do with being open air (it was way too hot and humid in there). Minor points, however, I had a great stay.
Why is it necessary to have piped music everywhere in the hotel at a volume level just above irritating.?
I suggest to get get a professional in to advise you on your selection of the back round noise - as well as the volume level
