Traders Hotels Review

As always, Traders Hotel KL has once again maintained its excellent service, especially the attentiveness and alertness of the staff. It is the little things that people usually take for granted but Traders Hotel Kl has performed well, as always.

This hotel is right in the heart of KL with views of the Petronas Towers and KLCC park.

The rooms were really big and were to a high standard, large windows and comfortable beds.

Staff were all really friendly.

Awesome amenities. I find the lobby design a bit weird though..

We purchased the Trader Club package. Overall, good rooms, lounge with a view, good breakfast variety. The shuttle driver (that buggies to KLCC) is very rude though. Not on just one occasion but we realised on both days.

Best view in KL from Sky Bar

Nice hotel. Great service. And the bar at the top was very chilled on the Sunday evening I stayed - UK DJ playing. I think it was a little expensive if you were not staying at the hotel to go to the Sky Bar though but that might have been to cover the cost of the DJ.

You get almost a 240 degree view of all the high spots of KL including the Petronas Towers. I would recommend skipping going to the Towers and just go to Sky Bar as you do not get that high up the Towers.

Good place to have drink at 33rd floor Sky Bar. It's like a nightclub at late night. Pool during the day.
Gym is nice.

Had a generally comfortable stay at this hotel.

Great location by the KLCC park.

Appreciate having access to the Business Centre which I have used on my stays at this hotel.
Friendly and sevice minded staff.
Had to stand in line and wait on check-out.
Rooms and public spaces start to feel a bit dated and could do with some modernization.

Staff services and accommodation was great except for parking services. Reserved lots should be provided for in-house guests like any other hotels which i had frequent in kl however, lots were also provided for others especially during festive seasons. The inconvenience of having to ran to and fro to conceige for assistance.

But am really disappointed as nothing change over 1. Year and my bathroom door was broken
Also i have ever seen some one knock the door asking the gust that do you want to extend your stay or i will help to pack your bags .
Even if i stay longer than expected time to check out i should recive a call , i was sleeping but ring a guest over the phone will be much better approach.

Great hotel, but wrongly overcharged me and it took 6 weeks to have money returned.

At first glance, the fire. They took from the view of the Petronas towers. The room is clean. Paid and ordered from Russia. Excellent hotel.

The hotel rooms themselves were nice in that the room were semi spacious, presentable and clean. If you are lucky enough to get a room with a view of the Petronas towers that is quite nice too. The hotel itself doesn't seem very fancy as when you go in it has somewhat extreme security in comparison to nicer hotels in the area and the reception is up on a different floor. So you essentially enter a lobby area first and have to walk through a metal detector type device. If it wasn't for the nice rooms I would probably lower my rating to a 3. They offer a golf cart buggy service to KLCC which is nice.

Except traders lounge floor 32, there is no place for seating a coffee and friend meetings. If exists still I do not know and must be informative labels.

My suggestion, Kind of the food and beverages needs to increase in traders lounge (for example rise and pasta would be daily standard) and better to expend service times +/- 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, staff and hotel cleaning was perfect. For my next visit to KL, again I will stay in Traders. Thank you.

easy and smooth check in - we were just about about to go to the room but the receptionist catch us and told us that there was a fireworks in about 5 minutes time. We value that and got a chance to see the fireworks.
Lounge staffs are customer oriented and focus to meet customers expectations. two thumbs up.
Wifi speed is good.
Check out at Lounge also very good.
Room is spacious and clean.
The breakfast menu is good. And the taste of the Indian food is excellent.

Very excellent and sophisticated, and the view is pleasant towards KLCC

Terrible hotel, not deserving the 5 stars it advertises. Staying for 1 night while in transit on the 20th floor. Big room with wood panels but facing some condominium projects. The lobby is poor, staff don't acknowledge you. Not a welcoming reception desk either, but the staff were polite. The hotel is very dark and gloomy. The room is terrible.... Very very dirty. Hair EVERYWHERE in the room! Look at the photos, its honestly disturbing. Things are not taken care of. Room was definitely not cleaned properly. There are holes in the walls. There are dust everywhere. Scuffs. And scrapes on the chairs. The Mirrors have stains. It looks like a ghost house. There are even stains on the seating. The room has a musky smell from the carpets. I am not sure why this is a 5*hotel. I will never come here again.

Great executive hotel. Great location. Excellent service. Always smiling staffs. Food choices are very good. Must visit sky bar and the pool.

Location is very ideal for those intending to shop at KLCC. However, traffic in and out of that area is kind of heavy during peak hours.

The view from your room is fascinating. You can definitely enjoy it.

Nice view to twin tower, walking distance to Suria klcc, good food

The hotel is beautiful and elegant and the location is a summit in magnificence and in the center near all the services and a fantastic view on the two towers

Highlight is the top floor bar with photo perfect view of the Petronas towers

Our room was great - well appointed and perfect outlook. Parts of it may be a bit worn out (Bathroom) but otherwise was very comfortable. The common areas were well appointed. Breakfast was fine - occasionally ran out of some options. Roof bar and swimming pool was a great area with wonderful views. We had one dinner in the upstairs restaurant which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this class. Staff in the restaurant were over-run and under pressure resulting in delays, a few errors and forgetful. Food was reasonably good but nothing that was a standout. The location of the hotel was perfect and the service from staff was really great. We were surprised with the security at the entrance.

I have a great stay , even is one night, but your warm welcome and hospitality service is great, from the reception to housekeeping. A small feedback, is better for those walk to the guestroom , to wear hand glove especially during this panademic period. It will give more peace of mind. Thank you

This is what we call an excellent hotel! I was very satisfied with the services. Really worth the money. Lounge is very luxurious, friendly staff, room was gorgeous, food was astounding, wide selection of delicacies, easy access to shopping mall, beutiful scenery at night. Really looking foward to come back here in the future.

The rooms were of a very good size. The reception service was efficient and friendly. It's a great location overall and staff are well trained.

Great views but expensive drinks. Prices are what you expect for a place like this though.

The first room i was checked into smelled horribly of smoke.
The second room was a little bit better but still smelled dinghy.
The hallways also smelled of smoke.
Please improve the air circulation and freshness. It gave me a headache during my stay.

the view from the bar on the 33rd floor and from the tower view rooms is sublime!!!! expensive for drinks but go have a couple and enjoy that view!

Lovely hotel with a great view of the Petronas Towers. Well looked after and great amenities. Pool was closed whilst we were there. We did not have breakfast (75RM ???) Staff were great and helpful and let us use the spa to have a shower before having a late flight.

Good overall experience. The room card have failed to work in the elevator occasionally.

Traders was nice and central. Can walk to malls and park. Rooms are good and view is superb. The only thing I didn't like was the pool, because it's inside the bar it doesn't really feel like a relaxing pool to chill at. Otherwise good hotel.

Have good experience here compare to other places visited.. staff really nice & friendly except the indian guy poolguard.. the chinese one not so bold like him

Great views from the roof pool and terrace, would recommend this hotel for location in central Kuala Lumpur, for amenities and shopping.

I would to complement Sina, the manager of the club lounge floor. He was very helpfull, knowledgeable. Appreciate how the staff made us feel very welcome during our stay ;)

I was disappointed that my first room (2803) didnt have a desk, just what looked like a shelving unit with wheels. Upon request I was moved to 2917 in order to have a usable desk - only to be kept awake until 3am with music from the bar. I was disappointed as I really like staying at your hotel.

Magnificent!... Food is awesome.. So much variety...
Just because we brought our kids along so they were a bit frustrated as there is no kids pool provided...
Another thing about cleanliness, our room's curtain a bit dusty.. I hope your housekeeping services could be improved in future...
Overall we really had a good time stay in your hotel with grand view!!

Much better than previous stay. The check in process went smoothly and they manange to repair bidet within 30mins. They also keep track my record about my previous experience and provide me the foam pillows. It just would be great if traders can improve welcome fruits to multiple fruits choices instead of apple.

I enjoyed staying in the Traders Hotel; where the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent.

Very clean and efficient hotel with friendly staffs.. Excellent location.. The view facing the KLCC park is amazing at any hour..

Staying at smoking floor/room, beds looks clean and very comfortable. But the furniture-the Luggage table and the sofa looks old and dirty. It has bugs that bites when Friend resting on Long chair. Overall I find that Trader is an average class of hotel that charge like a first class.

This is my 2nd stay at your lovely hotel. I enjoy the rooms, the food and the lovely staff!

Overall stay experience was absolutely amazing.. right from check in until check out .. it was truly marvelous. The view of twin towers from our twin towers view suites was fantastic. Traders lounge facility was too good and view is breathtaking. It was indeed a pleasure dealing with hotel staff during our entire stay who were very courteous especially a pleasure dealing with Mr.Kuzainee during our checkout.. very professional and able.. thanks to the entire team who made our stay very pleasurable and memorable.

The hotel is good. We enjoyed our stay. Location is great. Club lounge access is a nice extra - and the pillows were very comfortable in the room! Great breakfast options and helpful staff.

Some improvements I would recommend are, more frequent buggy rides to KLCC - for some reason when we wanted to go, we had to wait almost 25 minutes (and its only a 2-3 minute buggy ride away). The breakfast area was very cold - the AC was a little too high (on the first floor). When we asked about dining options, we were told the mall (KLCC) would close by 10, but werent told that the Pavillion mall was open with dining options till much later. Would be good to have known that as we arrived to the hotel in the evening.

There is no resident taxi though it is a hotel.
The bar on the TOP floor is the best spot where the night view (twin tower) can be seen beautifully.

It was very convenient as it was adjacent to KLCC Park and Bukibittan. Free buggy to Suria Shopping Mall was convenient and used many times. I was surprised that fireworks struck twice at 21:00 and 24:00 in front of me on Saturday, August xx. I wanted to tell you that fireworks in advance.

Lately perhaps because of high occupancy, we no longer can enjoy the corporate rate. Also, during breakfast, it was too crowded whereby long queue for egg station and some food was not timely replenish.

Expensive parking...had dinner buffet (not so impressed), skybar was nice.

Excellent hotel, very clean and well maintained. The place is historical with it SkyBar rooftop facing the Petronas towers. Not only that but the music programs and party offered are unique and permet you to come back every night. Dont forget to ask for the special cocktails the bartender is creating. Excellent service and nice portions to choose from. Well done

+ Great room and amenities. Love the suitcase packing bench covered by wardrobe doors to hide the clutter.
+ Love the quality and selection of breakfast buffet in Gabo. It's a Shangril-a tradition globally!
+ Location is great, walking distance to Suria KLCC.
- Can improve on the buggy service to ensure consistent pick up at Suria. Sign says 10:00AM to 10:00PM, but nowhere to be found at 8:30PM on X'Mas eve. It was raining earlier, but rain had stopped and the musical fountain show just completed. The Binjai buggy was shuttling residents. So, it cannot be the reason of rain!
- Check-in process can be streamlined to allow for e-check-in, esp for Golden Circle members. The queue and wait was too long... 1/2 hour.

On my 1st night stay, your staff went to my room to clear ALL the beverages as i didnt drop any deposite upon check in. Hahaha. Ingat customer tak mampu ke.

Excellent, beautiful view and breakfast suitable for Arabs

Arrival was marred by the late delivery of my bag to my room. The room was very nice but the bathroom drains emitted odors overnight.

Nice place to stay in KL. Very near to all the big malls and shopping centers. The surrounding is very nice specially the park.

The room is really nice, clean and comfy. You can choose variety of foods for breakfast, but the queue was a bit long. On dining table, the cutlery was not ready. On our table, there were only fork.
