I took my car because ofba recall and Omar was very helpful and friendly and my car was ready sooner than I expected which was great!
When I took my truck in for service they wanted to charge me almost double the price of an oil change then what Michelle told me over the phone. After driving out there and wasting my morning I decided to do it myself for a third of the price.
Don't waste your time at HB Toyota and go elsewhere. Plenty of honest places outhere.

I've been taking my 2015 Sequoia here for 2 years for my twice a year maintenance. Each time the team at HB Toyota has done a great job, everything done properly and in a timeof manner. Great experience each time I have taken in my car!
If you read one review, let it be mine, please. It will save you time and money. These people will act like they are your best friend, put a price online, change it as you walk in. They will say they approved you, promise you false things, overcharge you and pile on a bunch of unnecessary packages, then call you a week later to return the car.
Don't go here. They are the worst people. They will threaten you and break promises they should not have made in the first place.
Shady shady shady! Kam Foo is a fraud. So is Alex, their closer. So is Matt Sloan. But the worst one is Andrew. He is their so called manager. He will take your money, cash it, not approve you, hold your money and invest it in stocks for 10 days, then threaten to repo you.
The last conversation I had with them, I wanted them to write me an email so I had proof of something. That email took 5 hours. Twice they tried to creatively write themselves out of trouble. Luckily, I knew them by then.
Please go somewhere else. I beg of you. I have already reported these crooks to the BBB and the attorney general. Save yourselves the trouble.
I was family as soon as I stepped on the lot. There is no gimmicks just great service.
They met all expectations except time, 2 hours and 15 minutes for an oil change/filter/ and inspection was a little much. They were busy but not for the amount of time taken. I guess it's my fault for going on on Friday at noon. Otherwise I had a good experience and would recommend them .
If you have a Toyota , Huntington Beach Toyota is where you need to be. Ask for Steve he is a cool guy.
Just bought a 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4X4 last Friday. Kenny was my salesman along with Alex Rosa. I have had bad experiences at car dealerships in the past, but Toyota of HB was the best experience my family and I have had purchasing a vehicle. I felt comfortable and never pressured. They gave me a great deal on my new truck and honored my Veteran status. I recommend anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle to give this place a shot. I went to have my car serviced, made an appointment, and showed up on time. They were pretty busy while I was there, but assured me my car would be ready by the time they closed. After a few hours, I realized that I had given them the wrong number, so I called, left a message, and headed back.
They were absolutely amazing! Not only did they call me back promptly, but they had my car ready, serviced, and they even were able to replace two recalled components that it initially seemed they didn't have time for. They were polite enough to hang around just a couple minutes after closing so that I could pay my bill and get my car. They were clear, honest, and extremely helpful. I will definitely be using them to have my car serviced in the future.
I have been getting my Prius serviced here since 2015 and each time it's a great experience.
Get there right at 6 to drop vehicle off for service and Ben still wrote it up and took care of it.
They service my car and always act professionally and make me feel secure they did a good job.
I found a great internet deal at Toyota of Huntington Beach on the used I was shopping for. After seeing the car and going on a test drive I agreed to the posted internet price. After working together with sales manager and finance department we left with a great deal.
My car serviced here about once a month. I drive for Uber and Lyft.they've always given me great service at a reasonable price.

Last time I took my car there it was damaged.....they had it painted and fixed.....yesterday, Multiple gouges on the same bumper they just fixed last time.....so proof the damage was already there, AGAIN......left a note and a voicemail for cesar the service manager, NO CALL BACK and they have been open for well over 5 hrs.......they could care less about their customers... dont bother going to this toyota!
A salesman just called me asking if it s true that I m looking for a new tundra, told him I m busy and I would call back, the dude hung up on my face, one star!!!! On my way to yelp too.
After being very frustrated with car shopping we finally found a car we liked on their website called before we got there they said yes car is still available. 10 mins later we show up and we ask for the salemen who i spoke with on the phone and he says unfortunatly the one we called about has sold. Go figure classic bait and switch because they just so happen to have another one. Well, we go to sit down and i have never been so insulted in my life. Sales guy Eduardo was horrible. Had to leave 3 seperate times, he told my wife that she didnt need me to make the deal happen and that my trade in was a mistake to even own that car. Anyways after having a huge argument we finally came to terms financially that made sense that took 2 hrs to do all while I had a 2yr old son who was becoming impatient. Well we have since had the car for about a month and now i got a notice from the dmv saying the smog wasnt done so transfer of ownership is incomplete. Not only is it illegal to sell a car that hasnt been smogged now i wonder if the safety was even completed. They did say they just got in on a trade in so they just wanted to sell a car without even making sure it was ready to sell. Way to go Toyota of huntington beach.
On a side not our original salemen Patrick D. Was fantastic but some how we got stuck with a total ahole who i mentioned previously.

When I've made appointments for service I've been satisfied with their promised and fairly short wait times. As for the spacious customer lobby the various media cacophony playing from 3 or 4 devices, in particular the heavy base beat from one, is more than annoying. Bring something for your ears and equanimity if you must wait.
Just got my 4Runner serviced after 10k miles. Was in and out in less than an hour and got a complimentary car wash! Thanks THB!
This place made me waste my time , they called me and assured me the vehicle I was looking at was available . I drove almost 30 minutes before getting a call that it was not available to see, complete waste of time and unprofessional on their part .
I had the pleasure of meeting with Matt Van Waardenburg.
Prior to meeting Matt Van Waardenburg in person, we conversed over the phone and we discussed the written offer from him. The offer was a lease cost of $375/month for a 2020 Rav4 Hybrid LE with $2,000 down payment. When I arrived at the ToyotaHB, I told Matt that I have been to couple of dealership that day where they made similar offer but when I showed up they actually did not have any Rav4 Hybrid and asked me to wait at least 2 more weeks if I still wanted a Hybrid Rav4.
Matt Van Waardenburg kept his promises. Toyota of Huntington Beach not only honored the offer, but also allowed 15,000 miles per year.
My shopping experience of my Corolla was fantastic, good atmosphere, affable treatment and they filled all the expectations that I had.
I had the 20K service package done here. The check-in was efficient, they offered a shuttle service, and the job was completed within a few hours despite being very busy. Everything went as well as it could.
Everyone at HB TOYOTA was very helpful and focused on my needs. I have been to two other dealers in SoCal. Huntington Beach Toyota by far has the the attention to detail I was looking for. Thank you all for getting me into my new Tacoma TRD Off Road. I m loving it!
I drove all the way down here from palmdale (over 2 hrs one way) yesterday, after filling out the forms online and speaking with the rep 3 times. I went to ask my in-laws in Van Nuys to watch my 2 boys because I was guaranteed to drive off the lot with a car,of which they have a selection for me to pick from,pay sign and go.' Mind you 3 times these people called me and told me ALL paperwork was fine, spoke to the finance manager and she said the same thing. 'The down payment and credit and all the paperwork have been reviewed and you can come in' she said. So I made my journey in my car which I had explained to them wan't safe and had to stop to ask my brother to continue to take me down to them from Whittier. Ive had all these people stop what theyre doing, wait another 3 hours for them to show me cars that were very nice and I did approve of only one @13,995 with a back up for 6,995. My credit isn't great and went bad before I could start it, and even in discussing this along with confirming my down payment over the phone they told me to come down. I spoke with Eduardo (very nice guy), which later explained to me 'youre approved, but we need 2500 not 1500 for the car you want. Which is acceptable because it was a newer car but I didn't have it and was told several times 'can't you get it?' and several times I said 'no, I have 2 small boys that I need to have taken care of, i'm not rich but they're safety comes first.' I got that question about 6 times. When I decided to go with the lower priced car since the manager kept saying no to '1500 now and 1000 in 5 days deal', since it was the first or second car they showed me. They told me either way they would need 2500 regardless of the price. Needless to say I went off. I drove over 100 miles asked all these people for their help because I was ASSURED not once but several times that I was ok to come in with my paperwork and my down payment. POOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRR service, customers are the way you make money yes, so you decide to lie to people and treat them any way you can? BAIT N SWITCH IS ILLEGAL IN CALIFORNIA. If that's not bait n switch terms, then I'm not a mom. Good luck buying from these guys. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Thanks for wasting my time and money guys! You're great at that!

From Matt in fleet sales to Ben in Service, I have had excellent experiences with Toyota of Huntington Beach. 5 months after my purchase, Ben texted me to ask if I wanted to set up my appointment to service my car, seeing as how maintenance is included for the first two years. Of course! The process of setting up my appointment was completely done via text in a matter of minutes. The day of my appointment, Ben greeted me and got my car in immediately. He even texted me when the work was done. My car was washed and ready to go in a matter of hours. Who could ask for anything more, and at zero cost?

Moving from a different country I had some rather unique challenges in purchasing a car. The folks at Huntington Beach Toyota were absolutely amazing to work with and very accommodating. Not only were the sales side of the house knowledgable, friendly, and provided great follow up (thanks Dalton - 5 stars alone for this guy!), the entire staff through to finance and management was easy to deal with and understanding. Even the front desk was extremely accommodating despite handling 4 calls at any given time. I would definitely buy a car here again, this review was well earned.

The work was presumably correct however they washed my car but failed to dry it so I had to do it , then and only then, did he assist.

The car we wanted was online for $19k+ and when we were going to do the paperwork automatically went to $24k, salesman said because of dealership repairs.
And when. I asked why they couldn't specify the number he said because they couldn't do that online.
Plus employees don't seem to take coronavirus seriously. It's disappointing to see that they may think in OC the virus doesn't exist anymore.
Even though I bought my 2006 Tundra elsewhere, i get it serviced here due to the outstanding staff .

Horrible sales services. I did not buy my car from them, they had a "typo" on the final contract for an EXTRA $10,000! Disorganized service, kept being passed around to different people. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE.

I've bought many vehicles in my life and was pleasantly surprised by the experience I had with this dealership and my salesperson, Matthew Van Waardenburg. Matt was down to earth, easy to work, efficient, and didn't play games. He respected my time, and did as he said he would do. His efforts saved me much time when I arrived to sign documents before getting my kids from school. The dealership was appealing with a recent remodel and all-around pleasant, for the short time I was there. ;o) I highly recommend!

I brought my car in for a recall. They called and informed me my front tires needed to replaced, but they had to order them and they would arrive the next day. I said ok and then when I called they said I said no. The only reason I left the car overnight was because the tires. Bad communication.

Awesome people!! From sales to service the customer service is great!! Came in for service, had the complimentary shuttle take me to Norns to get breakfast. When I got back my car was ready and they even washed it. How nice of them, I usually go to the carwash next door.
