Like most people, if I could give this no stars I ...

Like most people, if I could give this no stars I really would. We were quoted a specific APR rate by our salesman and sure enough, when we got to the finance manager's office he tried to DOUBLE what we were quoted. I understand we are young, but that does not mean we are too naive to understand when someone is trying to take advantage of us. When we asked to go back and speak to our salesman the finance manager says "Well what do you honestly expect? You're first time buyers. This is the best you're going to get. Stop trying to run before you can walk." We finally had to get the manager involved who then helped us get the rate we were originally quoted. The finance manager, Jean Dupont, throws what I can only consider as an adult tantrum the entire time, practically slams on his keyboard like an upset child while he was finishing our paperwork, and got upset that we involved someone else. We get a call Monday, saying that they cannot give us the APR we were quoted and that we had to raise our rate, keep in mind that the papers are already signed and printed. We politely say that we understand and we would just like to give the car back and receive the title of our trade in back, the salesman says it would be no problem and that he understood. We get to the dealership and Jean Dupont REFUSES. He is yelling and cursing at us, saying that we were morons and that he would not give up the title. I have never seen a GROWN MAN act this way. We again, had to get another manager involved and he gave us the title and let us leave. I REGULARLY hear horror stories about this dealership and cannot stress enough that they are not worthy of your business.

I have always been pleased with my service man, Carl. Today, I had my last service maintenance, 20000 miles and they checked on paperwork that the cabin filter was inspected. It was required to be replaced. I returned and it was done immediately, but in my opinion, I do not believe it was even inspected because it was filthy. I then checked my paperwork for 10000 miles and found it was not replaced at that time either. I am very disappointed with whomever worked on my car. I hope my oil was changed and tires rotated.Laurie Omdahl

They secretly add thousands onto the cars price in between the sales-man and the finance department. Do not trust what the sale guy says. He will say the car is cheaper than it is. They reply to bad reviews like they will look into it, but if you contact them they only respond once.

NEVER buy or lease from this dealership!!! 1 year ago I was brought out to Alvin with promises that they could make a deal work for me on a Rav4. I lived an hour and a half away. Once I got there they miraculously had extra fees that they don't include on the online price of the vehicle so I settled for an overpriced Corolla instead. This was my first car purchase with a dealership and man do I regret it every single day. They also neglected to give me a key fob to the car and no spare. Just one single key. I have since tried to ask them to make at least a key fob for me and they promised to make it but kept giving me weird hours to come in when I work from 8am to 5pm like most people. Now I have since moved to Florida and they will not budge about getting a key fob made for me here because it would "cost too much" if you expect me to pay $300 for a new key fob and programming that it should have come with in the first place then I don't see why this is such a big deal. If I could get rid of this car just to never have to deal with Alvin of Toyota ever again I would. They are cheapskates and swindlers. You can literally go anywhere else and get better customer service and deals. Honestly they don't even deserve 1 star but that's the lowest it will let me rate.

Update: The customer service rep that I have been in contact with has since been ignoring my emails and voicemails. I want to come to an agreement on how to get this fixed but I guess when Toyota of Alvin doesn't think you are worth their time anymore they just ignore you.

Scam city. I called and they offered me a Toyota Camry for $17k and it was listed for $19,998. Jeremy also guaranteed me that the car was Toyota Certified.

We get there and sit down to do the paperwork, and they now tell me they are offering to us at $21.9k, because of some hidden addendum "that they are not allowed to post online." On top of that, they tell me that it is not certified.

Don't waste your time or money on these scammers.

Extremely disappointed. They asked me to drive all 2 plus hours after confirming the price and then once Im there they offered multiple offers and finally rejected the agreed amount. Be careful before you purchase from here. They will trick you on price and try to convince many ways. I got an uber to get there since I will have to drive back and lost everything. Extremely disappointed and fake place.

Went to Toyota of Alvin today for an oil change. They did it in a timely fashion. The BIG SURPRISE was when they brought my truck to me. WOW!!!. I couldn't believe how clean it was It looked like the day I bought it. I was so impressed that I walked around the corner and met the lady that is in charge of clean-up. Her name is Margarita What a nice lady. She showed me some of the processes that they use to detail the cars and trucks. I not only got my oil changed . My truck looks brand new and I learned a couple of things. Thanks Toyota of Alvin. And a BIG thank you to Margarita.

Came in because of the great reviews left here and as a first time buyer, couldn t be more thankful for Matt Sportini for making a stressful purchase anything but stressful! Matt is very transparent and offered many options based on my liking. He explained all the different features, reason behind the prices, and when asked gave his professional option which I found very helpful not knowing so much about cars. He definitely helped me find a car with all my desires and with great prices to start with. High recommend Matt Sportini!!

SERVICE UPDATE: I bought a car from this place. Sales Service was great. Issues with the tint. Took it back once and was told a manager need to approve the work order. No call from Amber as I was told would call once the approval was given. Today 10/5 I went in after getting a call from the service department 2 months later for 8 am on the previous Friday 10/2. Okay I was there only to be told by Amber the flaws in the rear window tint was due to a car seat strap. Really....after explaining the multiple flaws when I purchased but okay whatever! After asking someone higher up it was approved as well as 2 other windows. My outside of the car was dirty but I expected the service team to run it through the wash to make sure there's no other issues as they washed it when I brought it the first time. There are still flaws. I waited 4 hrs only to have the service guy who wasn't involved in the transaction hand me my keys and say your car is done. Any time I have had any service done especially a complaint a service manager or someone walked me out to see that the work was done and satisfactorily. Nope not even a one of them took the time to do that. Sales is fine but Service sucks and I will make sure to take my business elsewhere. And yeah that 5 Star review on Google will be deleted! Quality service didn't end after the purchase!!

Bought a car for my daughter on Saturday July 18. Purchased a 2020 Toyota Corolla SE. The salesman Victor, William in Finance, and Kat in Delivery were very professional in this entire process. Their service was great. Pack your patience as Saturdays are busy at least on that Saturday. I have read a lot of reviews good and bad but everyone's experience will probably be different. I can say I didn't experience any issues when I went. Thanks to the team!

So, there have been a lot of major changes to a once amazing dealership. My wife and I have bought 4 cars there in the last 3 years. I gave Toyota of Alvin 2 stars because there are some good people there. My biggest issue with them is the dishonest employees in service. My wife has a car with 26k miles on it. I know a thing or two about cars and typically an air filter doesn't go bad that quickly unless you drive in a dusty environment daily. I too have a 2018 Toyota with 32k miles and I drive a dirt road to work every day. So, I checked my filter which had very little dirt/ debris. They got my wife 2 weeks ago for $100 for the air filter and cabin filters. So, today i had my oil changed, but before I went in I pulled my air filter and took a picture of it. When I showed up to pick up my car I was advised my air and cabin filters were dirty and needed to be changed. I very quickly advised the service writer he was wrong. You can't treat people this way. People talk. Word gets out! Be honest!

Update: I never really thought customer reviews mattered to big business. My concern was to warn others. However, I was wrong in this instance. I submitted my original review and within 5 minutes I recieved a call from the service manager Mr. Smith. He was genuinely concerned to know what occurred and thanked me for my honest review. He also thanked me for giving him the ability to create a learning moment for his team. Employees everywhere need guidance and training to succeed. Sometimes they need to be shown the correct path to success, and it takes a leader to accomplish this. Thank you for the call and your level of professionalism was appreciated.

No, I was not asked to update my review. My satisfaction warranted the update to tell the whole story. Due to the level of professionalism and timely response to this issue I have elected to change my point of view with a 4 star.

I would like to share my experience while purchasing a 2019 4Runner. My sales guy Brandon Budet went above and beyond for me. I started messaging my 1 whole week before heading out to the dealer. He took his time explaining everything to me with details I didn t even know the vehicle had. Then we meet Eric Rosenman he also came and explained a few things to me and my husband. Very kind and helpful information. Not to mention the amenities the dealer offers while you wait . I had both my 10 year old and my 15 year old and they felt very comfortable. Finally Brian Perez the finance manager very professional and polite explained everything with details. Finally Amanda Key came and she was extremely nice very kind explained the last steps to my purchase we a really enjoyed the entire team of Toyota in Alvin. I would recommend anyone going to Toyota in Alvin. I felt very satisfied and everyone I interacted with with very transparent with me. Over all best experience I ever had.

The first manager offered a 18k for unit price without tax the finance manager charged for 34k ! without notice and he lied he is giving some free options to me he said they all are free i asked the price with and without them he said there is no two different payment for with and without them and they all are free and said the high payment you paying is all about the high interest and said believe me and trust me and we did but when we saw the contract again at home we saw he has sold us about 28k without finance 34with finance jus 3k more for jus unit price changed and 9k stuff that he had said they were free even when i called him again and again saying these items are not free he hang up on me. When asking how much is my interests he said i don t know! He always was jus pushing us not letting us to read documents saying i have a lot of works. After calling everyday and they holding me jus on hold and going there in person for 5 times their head said we found the mistake and will take care of you right now but every time i called they said same thing for a long time and they never were doing it. After about a month i jus supposed to get about 5k of it back but not all of it. Im telling you they sold an item for 2.5k and they saying its free and they never canceled it when i read on the its reviews sb bought it for 20$ and 90percent of reviews said its not even working good. So he first said we don t cancel it because we don t know where we had out the item in your car then he said I m not gonna cancel it because its already transferred to you but even i haven t sign up for it. It took about a month they told me how much I m paying! They even didn t tel me this car doesn t have two keys after i bought it they said if it didn t come with two keys so this is what it is and went to buy another one for 400$. If they re not giving it to me they should decrease the price. Even buying a gum you never get charged for any penny more and at least you would know how much is the price with or without items! Im telling you do not deal with them if you dont want get in trouble.I would never go back there to buy a car again even if they are the only one dealership in the world and i would walk instead!

I arrived around 7:45 am to be early for their 8am opening time to have my car serviced. They were already accepting customers even before the opening. Free coffee and water, people were social distancing and wearing masks as well.

Got in and out in 40mins. Overall a great experience.

I have been buying vehicles with your location since early 2000's. my latest visit was this past Saturday for general maintenance and service. I have always had very good service until this past Saturday. I am so disappointed at how the visit went. The young service guy that is at your desk was very very rude, wanted to argue with me, very unprofessional speaking, acting and not neat and clean at all. did not greet me with a smile and a hello instead just looked at me and said "what do you need" I do not understand were the good customer service has gone, after arguing with your service guy I then went and found someone else to help me that just so happened was the man that sold me my truck a year ago... Bruno. I explained to him what had taken place and he said he would call me today or have a manager call me... I have yet had a call from Ron Carter in Alvin apologizing or even calling to ask me about what happened. I guess after you spend your hard earned money on a vehicle with you all the customer service and kindness goes out the window since the money has already been made.

I brought my tacoma in because the ac stopped blowing cold. They also got the fuel pump recall taken care and an oil change. It took a little longer than expected due to delays in parts arriving for the ac, but Carl (my service advisor) did an amazing job at keeping me updated through out the process. I always hear horror stories of dealerships, but Keating definitely hasn't fallen into that category in the 2 1/2 years since I bought the truck from them.

However, was disappointed that they charge extra 3% fee if you use credit card and no one was wearing masks or acting concerned at all about the ongoing pandemic. I only saw one sales person in the whole building with a mask and it was around their neck not covering anything. No hand sanitizer in sight.

I ve always had good experiences at this dealership and today was no exception. Carl the asst service manager is friendly, genuine, and competent. The service for my car was fast (for someone like me who didn t have an appt), done properly, and I feel confident that pricing was fair. I was offered a free lift home but I chose to wait. I was able to get some work done on my laptop in the ample waiting area, customer WiFi was fast and free, there were free danishes in the morning and fresh/free popcorn for those waiting by noon, free coffee all day. I should also mention that the women's restrooms there are always sparkling clean, which is a nice touch that some places overlook. All of the sales people, service people, and other staff are so friendly and efficient at this place. I saw them treating other customers just as well as they treated me. I hate having to spend money on car repair but when I have to, this is the only place I ll go anymore bc they consistently provide excellent, trustworthy customer service. Thanks again for a great experience.

Buying the car was easy breezy. It was everything that came after that drives my frustration.

So apparently they want you to come in before your oil change to check your tires or something, and THAT'S the date they put on the sticker, not the actual date an oil change is needed. NO ONE informed me of this. Imagine my surprise to find out I'd been getting twice as many oil changes than my car actually needed. Pissed. When I complained they gave me a 10% off oil change coupon. Gee thanks

Also, 6 months after I got my I car, they started calling me to sell my car back. Why tf would I sell my brand new car back?! I've repeatedly requested to be removed from the call list, yet they call every month with the same crap. I bought my car in 2012 by the way. It used to make me really mad that you all wouldn't listen and just remove me from your list, but at this point, I'm honestly just tired of being harassed.

Save your money, time, and that long ass drive.

- To the NEW "owners": my oil was actually changed every time. Furthermore, there is no part of me that wishes to reconnect with Toyota of Alvin in the future. And I'm still on your telemarketing list, a month later. No improvement...

Let me start off by saying that my experience with Toyota of Alvin was nothing short of EXCELLENCE.
As your average every day consumer the thought of setting foot in any dealership brings up anxiety, apprehension and the dread of having to deal with overbearing Let s get the deal done salesmen.
My salesman was Lee Ward. Lee, was very respectful, professional and personable from the very start. The experience with Lee was like no other in the fact that he let me browse the different Tundras at my own pace and was there with me throughout the whole process to answer any questions. Let me also say that it was a HOT 95 degrees with 90% humidity Texas afternoon and Lee was by my side sweating like a pig in a BBQ joint. I test drove several Tundra s on day one without coming to a decision. Lee was not at all, let me reiterate Lee was NOT at all pushy about getting a sale done on day one and respectfully gave me his business card and told me that I could call or text him with any questions. Of course I went home and did my due diligence in researching several dealerships in the surrounding Houston area for a better deal. After placing several calls and speaking with other salesmen the anxiety once again arose in my gut & I just said NO!
I gave Lee a call on day 2 and told him I d like to see more Tundra s & he was there waiting with a cold bottle of water ready to put up with my obsessive questions in the Texas heat.
I ended up getting a 2019 Toyota Tundra Platinum edition at a price that I couldn t pass up.

If I could reach out to the powers at be I would ask them to elevate Lee Ward to a position of Leadership because he exudes qualities of a true leader. I want to give Lee Ward mega KUDOS for my experience with Toyota of Alvin.

Lee Ward defines what the Toyota Experience is all about > EXCELLENCE!!!

I just bought a used vehicle from here and I was impressed the minute I drove up. Maurice was already waiting for us and he greeted us right away. I told him what I was looking for and he was on it. I looked a couple of vehicles and found and test drove the one I wanted. Originally, I was going to finance through my bank but they had alot of requirements that I could not meet. Maurice was determined to get me into a vehicle today. He spoke to his boss and the finance department and they worked out a really good deal which discounted the price of the vehicle. He even used some of his discount priveleges to help me. It brought me to tears when he showed me the new price, I had such a bad expierence with another dealership that I wasnt sure that I would have better luck with another one. Maurice's customer service was 100%, he knew his stuff and I trust him. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I will be back again guaranteed!!

If I could I would give them -5. (actually a -100). This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, everyone from salesman, finance manager and general manager are complete and total liars. They tell you one thing then when they fail to keep their promises they refuse to take or return your calls, THIS EVEN APPLIES TO THE GENERAL MANAGER MR. JONES. Check with the BBB and you will find out that they are not accredited and do not respond to the complaints filed against them. I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO DO SOME INVESTIGATION BEFORE EVEN CONTACTING THEM.

Outstanding customer service from Lydia the saleswoman, she got us into a car we could afford and car that we still liked. Her outstanding customer service is second to none. She didn t hassle us instead worked with with us!! And a big shout out to Adam the finance director for working with us on our monthly payments and meeting us half way on the deal. Awesome job everyone, keep up the great work!!
