This hotel does all the basics really well. Friendly staff at the front desk (cookies are a plus), nice cafe breakfast options on-site, on-site restaurant offers a good selection at reasonable hotel prices, rooms well appointed and comfortable beds!

My family rented the hall room for a large birthday party. Everything was fine but the dance floor was a bit small. Had a good time

Loved staying here on our recent So Cal visit for Christmas holidays. Not only is this hotel located close to major touristy locations in walking distance, but the customer service is par excellent. Hotel rooms look upgraded and clean. The views from the balcony looked fantastic.

Staff was very friendly. They notified me of the remodel and made sure everything was ok

We had a very poor experience. For the price, I am sure you can find somewhere better. This place has an unpleasant odor in the halls and rooms. The rooms are rather small, and the bed quality horrible. Another reviewer said they are in the process of remodelling rooms; they should adjust the rate in the meantime. I've stayed at a nicer Motel 6!

Excellent location with many stores and Restaurants in neighborhood. Parking free available and staff very friendly. Breakfast Buffet to avoid, nothing special and expensive.

Great Breakfast buffet!!!!! The front desk remembers past visitors and this hotel does not charge for parking!!!!

Hands down, nicest lobby of any of the Hilton properties I've stayed at during this trip, as it was all decked out for Christmas... and I mean ALL DECKED OUT!

I took a few photos, but most came out with a yellowish tint, as I took them while blurry-eyed, at 11pm, after spin class with Dana.

This stay was mostly a blur, as I was hardly at the hotel, but if its the one I'm thinking of, this was the first and only of the Hilton properties to use a proximity room card. No more swiping the mag stripe backwards or upside-down. Just hold the key to the door lock, and whallah!

Went just to put up some centerpieces for a friend's daughter Sweet 16 but the service was amazing

Very exquisite hotel with character. Top rated staff, friendly and helpful. Clean hotel and room. Excellent buffet breakfast in designated room for Rose Bowl Parade group.

Reason for not rating 5 Star is we had (1) body bath towel when we got to the room, one of the shower doors was dragging on the bottom and very hard to open & close, vanity mirror was loose and wouldn't stay in place (tried tightening), couldn't figure out how to set alarm clock to proper time and couldn't plug phone chargers into several outlets.

After calling front desk, additional towels we're sent to room and maintenance reset clock to correct time by taking off a screw to remove top and setting to correct time in a matter of minutes. Shower door was fixed next day.

Realize most of minor room issues wouldn't be taken care of unless hotel is notified. Other group members had no issues. Would stay here again amd recommend to others.

We have ate at andres bar. Worst food ever .we ordered nachos and buffalo wings.both came very late and ice cold.its just flat bread they call nachos

Beautiful hotel, centrally located, spacious and up to date rooms, friendly staff and delicious breakfast buffet with magnificent views of the city and mountains + all rooms have balconies

The rooms were taken care of well and the front desk was very friendly. The hot tub and pool could have been cleaner, but it worked out okay. In pretty close proximity to a large mall and food options.

I have stayed at this property so often that staff recognizes me. It is an excellent location for business or pleasure. Feeling safe is never an issue. You can trust cleanliness together with exceptional hospitality. I always feel warmly received and accommodated in every sense of the word. All staff go the extra mile for me to support my special needs whenever possible. I am familiar with the community and have stayed extensively elsewhere. Can't say enough good about this property.

cute lobby and common spaces. comfortable room and bed. classic restaurant, not so many option for breakfast but the taste is quite delicious. it has direct view to the pool and garden. friendly staff, especially the guy at the lobby who take care of the laundry.

THE HOTEL WAS GREAT!!! Some of the things I liked about the hotel are it had a balcony and it had a AMAZING VIEW!!! The rooms are easy to get into with a card and I had no problems getting into my room.Also the rooms are very cozy and cute, but the beds are a little small if you have two people sleeping in one :( The T.V had a GREAT selection of channel's to choose from, the WI-FI is very responsive and fast, the pool outside is very relaxing and beautiful!!! The breakfast on the other hand was a different issue, it's a little expensive but it is also good at the same time.But other than that, I rate this hotel a 4 out of 5 stars due to the beds and the breakfast.I definitely recommend going here if your traveling and need some where to stay!!! Hope this helped! :)

Good looking venue, however the servers (all ~10 of them) disappeared during a wedding reception when the host asked for the lights to be turned down. A guest had to go flag someone down to get it done. The servers while they were present were nice and accommodating, the bar tenders were friendly as well.

Very enjoyable place to stay. Customer service was amazing. Every worker greeted us Everytime we walked in and ask us if we needed help. The place and the room was very nice and pleasant

Nothing special. Nice hotel but not reasonable. Our mini frig wouldn't sit level because of a hole in the shelf. I guess buying a piece of 1/8 " plywood is too difficult.

I went to the penthouse for a birthday party and it was nice. Not the best hotel I've been to but it was good for the occasion.

Great area and service is great! If we ever needed anything they were at our room within five minutes. Pool area is also a huge plus.

I was at the hotel for a conference on top floor. Did not stay overnight. Very nice facilities for guests. Pool deck and updated gym looked great.

Customer services is ok the food at the breakfast was horrible for the price we payed for the ticket the danish was the hard I could have used it as a hockey puck.

Probably the best place to stay on a reasonable budget that is south of LAX but in a great, safe area loaded with restaurants within walking distance!

Friendly and forthcoming staff. Rooms are renovated. But the building is a bit outdated. But still worth staying!

Great Hotel.... Updated. You can tell they maintain it. In 59 years if staying in hotels by far the smallest room. I felt like I was in a submarine.. They took it a little to far

Nice hotel with every comfort!
The colors in the rooms of the carpet and interior are not mine at all. That is very subjective, because otherwise there is actually nothing to complain about. If I hadn't been billeted here by my company, I wouldn't be paying over $ 200 for it. However, everything is there what the typical LA tourist needs.

Great hotel with nice bathrooms... the TVs just cant get over they since they do stand out but what was weird was that apparently the executive lounge had been close for a while and front desk agent who checked me in still advised me to eat breakfast there... couldn't find the executive lounge on the 11th floor so I'm guessing it had been closed. The breakfast buffet was weak and lacked creativity it was very standard or maybe look very poorly maintained... its complimentary so cant complain. Will try again in the near future and hopefully can get the executive lounge upgrade and this time theres actually a lounge...

I went to the DoubleTree last night for the Online Trading Academy's free power trading Workshop. I was running a bit later than I wanted but r just barely right on time, so i was hurrying to make it when i arrived at the hotel!! This DoubleTree is in a good location just off of Hawthorne Blvd, easy to find. I had no problem parking, there was a large lot directly in front and i noticed the normal valet service available if you drive right up to the front door basically! Aside from that, i had no other reason than interaction to report regarding the hotel. I did use the restroom a couple times while i was there and they were good... bright, clean, etc. Same way i would describe the entire hotel as a whole!! (as far as the little bit i observed) So I'm giving it 3 stars because i didn't see or interact with the place enough to be able to properly rate it

Beds were comfortable and appreciated the service. They were kind enough to address to our satisfaction all concerns we had during our stay.
