Front desk service was unfortunate from the moment we checked in but we felt stuck to have to stay because, apparently it was the only room left. I said we'd go somewhere else, it wasn't a problem for us if the room available was near a high trafficked area like a fitness centre - we prefer to sleep. The front desk guy said it's close but we should be fine since it closes at 10pm.

It turned out that the room was right next to the gym AND the pool. At 11pm we started hearing loud voices, laughs, and banging from the room next door - the gym! Guests were running on the treadmills. We called the front desk letting them know and we were told, by another front desk person, that the gym is actually available for 24 hours.

Not being upfront and keeping us stuck is what made the experience the worst. They would not check us out and offer a refund even though it was the first front desk guy that mislead us from the beginning. Not impressed Hilton!

We were staying on the 9th floor for two nights, our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff at the front desk very friendly. Complimentary bottles of water was a bonus and I love their warm complimentary chocolate chip cookies.

We we're here for husband's 50th Hugh school reunion. Had a newly remodeled room, which was beautiful! A bit difficult for applying makeup with the lighting in the bathroom, though. Room was small, but had everything you need, including plenty of charging outlets, plugs, safe, coffee service, iron and ironing board, which we used. Lovely grounds, nice little breakfast bar, but it wasn't open on the weekend. We appreciated the bar in the shower, and didn't use, but noticed the lifts for the pool and hot tub outside. I'm sure those are appreciated by those who need them, and I appreciate that it gives access to people who could not use those amenities otherwise. Kudos to Double Tree for that! That's BIG!

Actually not a bad hotel. Comfortable rooms and standard breakfast.

Great place for families and friends. Nice pool, good restaurant, staff is amazing. Near everything, mall across street. Plenty of places to eat that are really close by you can walk to. Beach not to far away.

This hotel would have gotten a much better score from me if not for four things. First the Hiltonhonors lounge was under renovation as well as the HH floors. The guest laundry was also under renovation. Hiltonhonors free premium Wi-Fi was slow as molasses and difficult to stay connected to. The lack of a microwave in the room to warm up leftovers was a huge negative. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and room decor attractive. Parking was free and the hotel is in a great location. The restaurants were above average. Also the lobby is beautiful and adorned with live orchids. If the hotel had informed me that there were renovations going on I would not have had so many complaints.

I would call it the most COMFORTABLE hotel in Cali during COVID-19 times: all the rules are preserved, yet without pressure, stuff is not telling you what to do on each step or restricting your every move. Music and food at the restaurant are simply amazing! All in all our stay was very pleasant. Recommended.

By far the Best hotel in Torrance. Great location. Excellent staff. Great rooms.

Terrible experience, years ago, I still have not forgotten. I brought my parents to Redondo Beach, it was the our last trip together before they passed away, and I wanted to make it very special. I chose the Hilton because I thought we would get QUALITY, but was I wrong! The bed from hell, terrible mattress and lopsided bed, I did not get a minute of sleep, and when I reported to the management, they could not have cared less. I was offered NOTHING in compensation. I went back to Oregon but I have never forgotten.

Went here for a holiday party. Hotel was decorated nicely, staff were friendly.

The cookies were amazing and the hotel room was great! The view from the balcony was very nice.

Good, clean hotel. Very nice area nearby with shopping and restaurants, at least when our economy is not shut down. Staff is great to us flight crew members especially during this C19 nonsense.

The view from the penthouse is wonderful. Our Club holds an annual event here, and the food is good.

Very friendly staff. Great value. Unfortunately there were significant renovations happening while we were there (not advised beforehand) so constant noise and a constant stream of workman.

Nice clean spacious rooms. Happy hour at the bar was nice. Good food, good price and great service. Thank you Dave for taking care of me during my stay. Ohh and nice gym also. Didn't make it to the pool but it looked beautiful. Maybe next time

I came here for an interview. The interior of the conference room is very nice and clean, and guest services were polite and informative.

Missing old times with open buffet. Soon everything is gonna be allright. Fireplace is awsome.

Was given one of their newly renovated rooms and it is great. Amazing shower/bathroom.

The food was cold and dry. Service was minimal but the ballroom was nice.

Unimpressed. The staff was great, the breakfast buffet was great, the pool is cool. The rooms were tiny! The beds were small and not the most comfortable. Not going to likely stay there again.

Check in was very easy, the staff has been very kind. The rooms have been updated, some of the finishes are a little rough, but the beds are comfy!

One of my favorite hotels to stay at when I am in Torrance. Last year I was there it was being renovated and it is beautiful now. Rooms have plenty of outlets now. Yeah...

Every employee we met was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with iron & ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator, etc. Good breakfast buffet in the dining room.....and I cannot imagine anyone who does not love those warm DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies!

This hotel is very beautiful I slept very well I ventured like 2 hours in the yacusi agusto well relaxed

The decor of this hotel is very fresh. I was surprised because the outside looks very common.

Great hotel staff, excellent rooms. The breakfast restaurant staff does not seem to care about the same error in their equipment that I have been pointing out for over a year.

Nice rooms and location. Easy access to beach cities and local shopping, restaurants, and more. Nice views from the high floors.

Lovely common areas, gorgeous landscaping, comfy room, fresh food, very attentive staff. Bonus points for free parking & of course the cookies. Great experience!

The renovated rooms in the tower are a big improvement. Convenient location. Executive lounge is still closed. Consolation is free breakfast at the restaurant.

Guest service agent (name started with a 'C') was pleasant and greeted us with a smile. And since my fiance and I shared some of our hotel stories with her - since we used to work at a hotel - she would have been happy to give us an upgrade if one had been available. All staff was pleasant and greeted both of us. Food and bar/restaurant staff were kind and portions were always generous. Great stay!

Fantastic stay! Breakfast was complimentary. Great very safe parking! What else can I say but to say thank you for a wonderful stay.

Had to stay here 3 weeks due to a house fire. Stressful time during the Christmas season. Derek, Ian and Alan at the front desk were very helpful and friendly at all times! The manager, Masoot, was beyond helpful, friendly, and cares about his property . The housekeeping staff is diligent everyday to clean and restock the rooms. My kids really enjoyed the free breakfast. The facility was clean and they loved the waffle maker everyday. I enjoyed the toast and hard boiled eggs....and endless coffee all day! This was the only hotel in our area that had 2 king beds in a room which was so great for the time we spent here. A big thanks to the front desk guys and the manager!!

We were there for a wedding reception and it was lovely. It was a sit-down dinner in the Crystal Ball Room. The food was good and the service was great. The staff worked really hard to get everyone served in a timely fashion. I would recommend them for a big affair.

A quiet hotel. It has a nice pool, breakfast is successful. Employees eh. It is nice to be within walking distance of Del Amo shopping center. There are known places such as Denny's, Habit, Panda Express, Chipotle, Subway, Marshall's, Wallmart.

The location of the hotel is superb - just across the Del Amo mall. This area is very quiet and safe, and a great starting point to the rest of the LA area. Free large parking (one must have car in the US) and walking distance to restaurants nearby ... and one of the US largest mall.
For "Norwegians" this hotel is totally in keeping with quality and cleanliness I mean. Book executive room ... then you come up to the height. Nice and small pool area.

Great place but the pool was dirty it had some white filmy stuff floating in the entrance of the pool so we dove into the deep end to avoid it. The suites are nice and roomy. They give you chocolate chip cookies when you check in.

Rooms are really small and walls are very thin. You can hear every door closing, it was very distracting, but the employees were all very professional and friendly.

The room was nice and the price was great. The staff was very curtious and helpful.

I really liked this hotel, it was clean, staff was very nice, despite us checking in at 1am. They give you cookies and water, plus a voucher for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.
