Top hotel in Torrance. Staff is very helpful. Tea Tree cafe offers great breakfast options. Convenient location across from street from a big shopping mall.

Good location, clean, free parking, pleasant staff; room had a slightly musty smell and hotel doesn't honor gold perks unless booked directly through Hilton

Used the DoubleTree in Torrance for the hotel block for my guests for my wedding, as well as where I booked the suite for me and my bridesmaids to get ready and for the wedding night. The rooms were all newly renovated and the suite was the size of two rooms. All of my guests had a good time staying here and liked the convenience of having the mall across the street.

Hotel is going through renovation, Executive Lounge isn't available. Construction begin hammering at 8:30am. Room is smaller then expected, otherwise new, clean and excellent staffs. Oh.. Don't forget the excellent cookies.

Great for families to stay here. Very near to Delamall, a big supermarket, Walmart, Toys R us and many more.

Residential area on the outskirts of LA. It seems that there are a large number of Japanese residents and branches of Japanese companies. Twin, bath towel fluffy. Breakfast is so so.

I am a business traveler & stay at this place every week since last 10 months. I love this place. Staff is excellent. They go out of the way to help you out. They offer good corporate rate. The executive lounge is now being improved. Looks like a new business center is soon coming at the executive floor. The best thing is , last December my family joined for a vacation & this hotel offered me a suite, which was excellent. Manager gave bunch of coupons for my family to be used in the restaurant. They really made my vacation a real pleasure. A very big Thanks to Dobletree's excellent staff & management team.

Updated, clean, and friendly. Great breakfast. Got a free upgrade to a suite that was very spacious and comfortable.

Had a school banquet at the hotel. The food and service was subpar. During the event noise from the kitchen was a distraction.

Nice and clean place. Walking distance to Del amo shopping center.

So the folks that work here are nice, the rooms are nice, and so on. I am very unhappy to report that this is, WITHOUT QUESTION, one of the loudest hotels at which you will ever stay. There is a slamming door reverberating through the building every minute for 16 hours every day. I work nights- kinda nice to have a quiet hotel during the day but you won't get that here. Nor will you be able to go to sleep early in the evening.

Management: pad the door frames, adjust the door-closing mechanisms so they shut QUIETLY, and for god's sake make sure your house keeping staff use door stops instead of deadbolts to keep doors from locking.

Everything was just outstanding: the room, the service, the location.

Cuerto was not very clean. The bathroom door did not close completely.

The room I visited very nice, and many of the amenities seemed modern, but the AC unit in the room was old and noisy.

Everything was great just stopped by to visit the front desk they were friendly

We stayed there this weekend for my husband's birthday (this is Gina writing) and let me tell you it was fantastic. Clean room, amazing size, comfortable, and the staff and their hospitality was beyond amazing. Thank you so much Doubletree for these amazing memories, we will come back again.

Good hotel, clean, great service but rooms need to be remodeled.

Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Breakfast includes hot items: eggs, usually scrambled and also mixed with peppers, etc, and eggs made to order, sausage, and oatmeal, and cold items: fruit, juices, breads, and cereals.
Drawback as with all Hilton properties is use of obnoxious computer operating system. It doesn't allow cur and paste, up or downloading, and won't even open a few company websites. It makes the Business Office almost useless. Complaining is worthless, Hilton prefers this.
No shuttle to or from airport as hotel is 15-20 minutes away. Staff will call a cab for you.

My partner and I came here to try as much of the food as possible. Every single thing we tried was amazing, so much so we had to come back another day on our short break to la.

Amazing! We stayed here for our honeymoon on saturday. Also my mum and her friend have just stayed there for 2 nights. The rooms were a little small but had all the necessary facilities. My mother works at a leisure centre and she mentioned that the swimming pool was very dirty but that was her only complaint. The reception staff were well mannered and very helpful.

Lovely hotel, comfortable bed, and attentive staff. Nice continental breakfast is served. Highly recommended!
