room was very clean, it was more a 4 star hotel experience

Well run hotel upscale serves flight crews. Couldn't connect to WiFi, air conditioner efficient but loud. Plentiful hot water. Nice place to stay if you can afford it.

He's old, but still has the quality of a DoubleTree

Breakfast, American standards. Clean, mediocre six. The staff is making a lot of noise and talking loudly even shouting in the corridors. Reception, very professional. The location is very good.

Clean but no housekeeping and was there for a week. Room service was limited and served in disposable containers. Sign of the times I guess.

My coffee wasn t hot enough . Friendly staff, I would stay there again .

Fantastic location in Torrance, right opposite Del Amo Mall. Most of the rooms were upgraded recently so you can expect very nice products. The bar at the reception serves pretty good food and has a wide selection of drinks on tap. If you feel like eating out there are many restaurants in the vicinity. Great place to serve as a base to explore the LA area. Many parking lots are available and are free for guests. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Nice Doubletree hotel. Looks like the bathroom has been upgraded. Just watch out you do not pinch your fingers in the sliding door. Little noice noticable from the street so quiet enough to go to sleep comfortably. Nice restaurant and bar on the premises and many near by also. Nordstrom's accross the street. A lot of shopping near by.

I'm a Diamond Member, because I travel 75% of the month. Yet, I don't understand why the Hilton Superchain hotels are so different. The newer more modernized hotels (Embassy Suites, Home 2 Suites, Homewood Suites, and the TRU Hotels) are less expensive and more up to date than the Hilton, and the DoubleTree Hotel's. Those hotels have everything that you need in your room to truly enjoy your stay, such as Microwave's, HD Slim TV's, and Full Refrigerator's. I most definitely would rather stay in one of those in the future.

Very clean and good beds. Coffee and tea machine in the room. Very helpful and helpful staff. Good location in Torrance right next to a big premium mall.

Housekeeping amazing even though most didn't speak English. Nice staff!

Friendly service and very clean rooms with a Lysol seal on the door for your protection that when you open the door the seal breaks. I had a great experience.

Check-in was great, very quick and friendly. They even give you a warm cookie. The room is ok -- walls are a bit thin. Can hear into hallways and other rooms/floors very easily. Beds are a bit too firm. Other than that, everything is very clean and well maintained.

We stayed for a Christmas Party and the room was not as clean as it should have been. I will attach photos of the remote control. I picked it up to use it and it felt very gritty/dirty. At check out I took the remote with what is posted and gave this to the front desk attendent..all she said was "sorry about that". No compensation..

Incredible beautiful, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, FRIENDLY Hotel. I will definitely come back. I stayed on the honors floor, really pleased. The breakfast in the morning was great. It had an omelette station. I had an egg white omelette. Excellent location, 10 minutes to beach or freeway, walking distance to mall. I have only good things to say about this establishment. I worked for 13 years at a Ritz Carlton, I know quality. Job well done, GM !!!!!!

As we pulled up to this hotel, I had the thought that this looked like an airport hotel and was expecting a similar feeling upon entering. I was pleasantly surprised upon entry to not find the drab environment of hotels used to many short term visitors, but a beautiful new world. The cafe and outside patio area was full of foreign flight attendants and pilots, and the ambiance of the entire space had a feel as if I stepped into a European country. I found myself sitting at the cafe with coffee and bagel, watching the fish swim in their two aquariums that provide a line of separation between the cafe and the lobby. The outside patio area had several cascading waterfalls, bikes for rent, and a decent sized pool in the central courtyard style building. Talking with the friendly hotel staff, I found out that they also have a hundred bicycles they rent primarily because of the demand from their European flight staff visitors.

The room itself was comfortable, as most DoubleTrees are. Since I travel often for work, I've determined that what makes or breaks a trip for me boils down to a few key things, I normally don't mind ambiance when I am travelling for work, but felt it was important to mention it for this location in particular. Here are my key items along with my ratings from my stay:
- Clean room: very clean room
- Comfortable bed: very comfortable bed
- Comfortable pillows: very comfortable pillows
- Good shower pressure/shower head: very good water pressure and a shower head that was high enough for me to stand fully under
- Friendly and helpful staff: absolutely nothing but a good experience with staff. Check-in was smooth, cookie was good, and staff throughout the hotel were very personable and clearly cared about my experience.

Overall 5 out of 5 experience. I would highly recommend staying here. Just be aware that weekday traffic has to be factored in if you are travelling from or to LAX.

Was there for holiday company party. Very nice place. The food was good. We went to hotel bar afterwards. It's small but the drinks and service was great!

I'm impressed with the room. I felt comfortable with the room right away. I just came back from a wedding yesterday and slept like a baby at 8:30 PM. I haven't slept in peace in weeks. There's a complimentary cookies on the table which is a plus. The service is great at the breakfast restaurant. I would definitely come back again. :)

The lobby is beautiful! I was attending an event on the penthouse floor which had a wonderful breakfast included! breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely.

Been there for business,kind of away from downtown and main city attractions but all in all lovely place to stay.not distracted with noise.

It is a permanent noise, so clairaudient and loud, impossible to find rest. The staff seems disinterested.

I am A member of Phillips Temple CME church. I accompanied the president of our NS Curry Scholarship Club to mAke arrangements to have our 60th anniversary luncheon at this venue. We had our luncheon on June 30 2019. Our servers were great. The food was tasty. The setup was wonderful. The management was very accommodating. All the attendees had an enjoyable time. I will go back on my own with friends for the champagne Sunday brunch. I am looking forward to it.

Went in for a company Christmas party with 200+ I'm the roster. The event space was large enough to accommodate all of us with room to spare! The food was good and the service was excellent. Over all the main lobby, event space, bar, and men's restroom were very clean. The lobby was well decorated and the desk staff was helpful. The bartender was nice and pored a good drink.

Nice Motel.... Reasonable prices based on Motel... Everything is available.. Nicw and clean rooms open spaces

I don't know why I live in the back of the house. I look at the 2 swimming pool at night.

Didn't stay as a guest only used one of the event rooms. The staff was very courteous and the event room was clean and functional.

Didn't stay at this hotel but went to there buffet instead. The food wasn't too great and made me full quick. Usually with buffets you would take advantage of getting more than 2 plates full of food. I ended up stopping on my second plate. If you like unlimited mimosas like my girlfriend does then this is the place to be if you live around the area.

Stayed 6 nights while on business in Nov. and had a great stay,friendly staff and quiet rooms!

Restaurant staff is friendly and very attentive. Rooms are wonderful and Clean. Stay so far is outstanding. The pool area is gorgeous.

I stayed at the newly renovated part of the hotel. I loved the views from my room which also had a balcony. I stayed in room 818 which faced the pool. Also the room had a nice size balcony. One recomendation would be to have a couple of chairs and a small table in the balcony. I would have loved to sit there for 15 to 20 minutes before I start my day or in the evening.

Also, the concierge was extremely helpful in answering my questions and giving me recomendations on places to have dinner.

The greens were awesome, chicken wing were good, however, they could've used a little more time on the grill. Other than that, the food was good for my first time visiting.

Got in late, bit still had our room. Older property, but very well kept. Would stay there again.

I asked front desk employee Maria to light the fire nearby the pool. She declined my offer. We were sitting 5 guests keeping the 6 feet social distance because of the covid-19 but she offered sitting together as an excuse. She was not looking at my face even i was takling. She was very rude and if i were an american citizen my offer would be accepted and i dont want to believe this.

This hotel is great for what you pay. It is very clean and well updated. It has a nice relaxing pool and hot tub area. There is a bar and restaurant. You'll definitely enjoy your stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well.

Location was easy to find. People establish review at the entrance and there were very attentive at all times.
In my case I attended a professional event and the conference room was well cared in neat conditions and room temperature was just rite. ( which to me is important when you're sharing the room with other 30 people attending to the same conference as I was). It can be very discomforting having to feel too cold or too hot it's difficult to concentrate anyways in general it was a very satisfying experience for attending to this hotel.

What an elegant hotel !! Such Class. With all the warm and friendly faces from staff it makes your stay more enjoyable and pleasure.I felt positive and motivated when waking up to a clean room that was designed very professionally. Everything was thought of with care. I will definitely be looking forward to my next stay.

Quiet, discreet hotel with well appointed rooms. The bathrooms have been recently renovated and functional.

The fireplace by the pool side is a great idea to pass an evening with friends.

A better breakfast service would earn this hotel another star in my book, although there are many food outlets within a quick 5 min walk.

This place shows signs of wear and tear. Upper levels are being renovated and may be done in 2018. Lower level rooms are currently at two star motel level. Do not expect too much from the room. Location is nice. Staff service is mixedm

Decided to stay at this hotel even though it is a good distance from Pasadena. The hotel was under construction and we received a very good Hilton Honors members points exchange. The Hotel is in a good area close to a mall. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and upgraded us to a larger room. Great stay and would definitely stay again.
