I had a recent trip to the Emergency room at tomball and the clinical staff was amazing. I was taken back and treated fast and the nurses taking care of me were so sweet and attentive. It was early around 5:30 am so i didn t get their names but I truly appreciate them and the doctor as well. Registration was also fast and respectful. All around great staff !

My initial stay at the hospital facility was great. The staff from the front to the back was very attentive and polite. My only issue was the hospital time for my scheduled procedure. They could not let me know what time to be there for my procedure until the day before. That put a burden for me to find someone to be there and take me home because I was given a seditive and someone had to take me home. Asking someone the day before is complicated at last minute because most people work during the day. Try earlier notifications. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband is a diabetic & the "nutrition" department has yet in the 2 weeks plus has yet to get what he puts on menu! Have gone to supervisor for that department so they come up to take his food order to balance sugar & carbs & he doesn't get it he gets a substitute! Bacon, orange juice, potatoes, whole milk, cereal (which is stated he can NOT have) real sugar & what they call omelet (which precisely stated he did NOT want,he's been given most every breakfast!) Anyone with half a brain knows this is NOT a diabetic diet! When he called them their excuse was they didn't know how to enter his diet!!?? Is this not their job? one poor man was being forced to drink Boost even though he's allergic to milk & it was making him be sick! But the Real Kicker is when u see them bring a substitute meal my dog wouldn't want & U go down to restaurant after they serve lunch & see the staff come out with the best food (Which I know for sure my husband ordered that day) & here them say "I've got me some real food I put it back for me!" THAT DO NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS OR ARE THEY TRYING TO DO THEM IN?! I tried to be nice & went through the proper channels BUT didn't work! Waiting on call back from patient safety person now! WHAT IT SEEMS LIKE IS THE PEOPLE THAT LOAD THE CARTS & DELIVER MEALS JUST DON'T GIVE A FLYING FLIP &THEY LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS CRAP!!! Don't they know this is medical malpractice?? Making a diabetics shoot up over a 100 points is harmful!
1 star rating was for the nurses & Drs who care & did their jobs well!

My experience was amazing here, I fell down the stairs at my apartments with my 18 month old in my arms, I was taken in by ambulance and the minute I walked it they treated me well, my son was treated like royalty and the nurse Elisabeth made everything better with her jokes, although I was in pain the hospital stay was quick and easy, I stayed at max 1 hr &1/2. They cleaned my wounds and x rayed me in minutes upon arriving regardless of how busy they were, the doctor was phenomenal explained my after care plan. I thought my ankle was broken but it ended up just being sprained, my son is okay and very happy, the nurses gave him applesauce, jello and juice. I highly recommend this hospital.

I had excellent care at the HCA Tomball Surgery center. The hospital surgery rooms from waiting room reception to the individual pre-op rooms were clean, every one of the nurses and techs were amazing. My recovery is progressing, slower than i had expected but every day is better. I highly recommend this hospital.

I edited my original review of the hospital itself, because after reading my complaint they did everything possible to make it right. I have to say that I would give them another chance and that they new administration truly seems to care that they deliver quality care.

WOW, Just WOW. Best place ever. My Family member was admitted and the care of everyone, Nurses, Dr, Caseworker, even the cleaning crew was OUTSTANDING!!!! thank you to everyone who is taking care of my family member.

This ER was certainly the right choice for me. I chose this place because the doctors there seem to have good social skills. I don't want any doctor assisting me or my family who won't say hi or have no compassion. We walked in on a Friday morning (December 15, 2017) with no wait! We were greeted by everyone with a smile, the Nurse Practitioner was passing us by to do something else and noticed us and asked if we were going to a room. We said yes and she turned around to follow us. That's putting the patient first! She introduced herself and asked questions about my daughter's injury. I was pleased with the dimmed lightening which is soothing for sick and or hurting people, the quietness of the area, and cleanliness. The air smelled fresh and clean. The housekeeper was working nearby and even greeted us. We were discharged with clean legible papers and a nurse to explain them to us. All the staff took good care of my daughter and made us both comfortable. Keep up the good work!

The two guys(dr and nurse Roy) took amazing care of me last night. They took their time to explain the issue I am going through and did everything they could to make sure it goes smoothly and pain free. Even though it s a drive for me, I would go back there because of the care I received from them.

I was very please how fast they got me in the room and started testing and gave me something to relieve my swelling and pain. Only complaint was when she stuck me with the Iv it continue to hurt and she didn't seem concern and when they came in the room they bent my arm and made it the tube to bleed and it was still uncomfortable and she said it wasn't bleeding. I was glad when she took it out.

Tomball Regional Medical weaseled me in saying that they would price match a competitors price. They also told me that I could set up a payment plan to pay off my remainder. After services were given they told me that the offer was not valid because I did not pay off the lump sum all at once. This was scamming and absolute neglect to be honest with the consumer. I would not go here again and for anyone considering coming here and if they offer any type of price matching make sure you have the exact terms and conditions down in writing !!

Dr. Honeycutt is one of the worst people I have ever encountered with a "miss-placed sense of self-importance"

As a physician with more than 20 years experience in Critical Care, his efforts to avoid me at all costs were transparent. His excuses for my brothers condition did not hold water.

As a result, we lost any chance for progress for the 7-days that he was on service as the "Intensivist" .... frankly, calling him an "Intensivist" or even "Doctor" is a huge insult to the medical profession. He is nothing but a self-centered pompous prima-donna who has absolutely zero respect for patients or their family.

At no time has a physician spoken to my brothers wife, she tells me. He has been in CCU for 2-weeks on ventilator after a cardiac bypass graft (3 vessels) surgery.

She cannot drive. Lives 90 minutes away. Now I have to fly to Texas, get her, take her to a hotel near hospital, and speND maybe a week or more in his room (never leaving) to be sure he gets the care he needs... or till he dies... because of ineffective care, refusal to communicate honestly, and so much more.

Very disappointed, after promising my brother that he would be okay.

My experience at the Tomball Emergency Room was great! I was seen fast and Doctor Damien Berry was AWESOME! He made sure to keep me in good spirits considering what pain I was having. The nurses were AWESOME as well, they were very attentive and caring. I would recommend this Emergency Room to anyone.

I was a wonderful experience.

I was a wonderful experience.
The therapy helped me tremendously. seems to me, that because of it
pain is remarkably more bearable

The worst hospital I have ever been to they almost left me blind for my first visit now my second visit was a broken arm was basically not taken care of for almost 4 hours one told him to be seen immediately and afterwords basically made fun of for my injury as well as not completely treated or given proper prescriptions to treat for my pain doctor Mark was OK the nurse cannot stand him somebody needs to smack some sense Into that child.

Had a baby there and they didnt give discharge instructions for his circumcision. He had to go back because they put the gauze to tight. I had an arguement w a nurse who was mishandling him as well while we were there. Has a second baby there and they dont bother removing the umbilical clamp. Her stump came off early and she now has an exposed hole where her umbilical cord is. I would not have children there if you can avoid it. Also they dismissed my complaint when i contacted them for said incidents.

From the moment I was admitted via the Emergency Room until the time I was discharged I had the best care of any medical facility I have ever been in and I, unfortunately, have been in many. The staff was professional but kind and loving. My only disappointment was that this hospital does not have more funding to update as the hospital looks tired inside and so did my room. However, the care sure made up for the appearance and I would rate have great care and kindness any day. Thank you all so much.

First time there was Wednesday due to umbilical hernia I've had issues with for a while, the staff was amazing and took good care of me, ended up getting admitted and had surgery Friday morning. The ER docs meh they were ok and wish they would've listened to me when I told them not to mess with the hernia, if they would've actually read the CT scan report they wouldn't have tried to push it back in and make it worse...but once I was in my room on the fourth floor the RN's were amazing, I believe one of them her name was Dee, by far the best. My surgeon Dr. Jantzen Thorns did an awesome job fixing my hernia. The pre-op staff was great and made it comfortable for me, my first surgery and was nervous and freaking out but they took good care of me. Overall hands down my best hospital experience. Great work

Day after Labor Day bp very low, call ambulance and I told them I didn t want to go to Tomball hospital. Oh no it s changed it s not Tomball hospital anymore it s HCA and they re so much more better now. I was checked in at 1:54 released at 3:09 was slightly comatose I guess like I m just not awake the problem was I took too much melatonin my blood pressure was low. So I log onto the portal after calling the hospital because I haven t received a bill I thought I ll call any way. I figured the bill to be 5000 to 8000 tops I called $21,000 and for what ?? They did A CT scan of my head and EKG checked my blood sugar and drew blood twice. Saw a doctor being generous and giving of maybe 15 minutes within the timeframe nurses of course did the blood draw the urinalysis and sent for the CT scan. Was told they thought there was some infection was worried they may give me IV drip and an anabiotic but the second blood draw showed nothing and that is where they released me to go home because there was nothing wrong. My back is gone paid $1000 cash for an MRI they laid the discharge papers on the bed did not help me up did not help me out did not offer a wheelchair let me lean against the wall still groggy and when they asked me if I was OK I said I just need to get to the waiting room and they pointed to the double doors. A young lady called to check on my experience and I told her I guess that s the going rate for not having insurance you re politely just drop kicked out the door. If I have my way I will never ever go back to that hospital again this is not the first time but it is certainly going to be the very last time. I can vouch for confusion going on also because after the EKG was done another nurse comes in and proceeds to start to do an EKG until they realize that one had been done it had been taken care of so if I get an itemized bill would say is I m not charged twice. Furious that s the only word I can think of absolutely positively furious. And by the way I am a certified medical assistant don t know it all but I do know a little bit and I know that this experience was the saddest experience I have recently had.

Overall a bad situation made a lot better with very competent Doctors and Nurses, other staff taking care of me if there is any weak point in staff is with some of the tech's CNA's they can do there job Ok but it's not patient care. On the other hand some techs are like angels. I would recommend TRH to anyone

I received excellent attention from HCA for my recent and past visits. From the immediate greeting at the door, through preparation, information and follow up on these procedures. Administration, nursing and medical staff were coordinated and communicated well. I will not hesitate to return in the future.

The only reason this establishment would get even one star is for the nurses and other health care workers that I have worked with there. They have always been caring and wonderful at their jobs; however, the establishment is extremely overpriced. Fees for procedures range over 300% from market price for the area and billing is nebulous and dubious. If you require a procedure or hospitalization - and money is no object - then by all means TRMC's health workers are great; otherwise, I would highly advise getting some competitive costs from other facilities before undergoing anything here.

Recently I had an HCA facility call my emergency contact before calling me, the primary person. The concerning thing is that this happened to another person I knew: A different office affiliated with HCA contacted the emergency contact before calling the primary person. I would really like to see this resolved. Luckily the facility that had the mix up with me resolved the issue.

Took my son to the er on Monday night. He was having severe headaches and vomiting. The first thing went wrong when they didn't even check my son in. He's 7 years old crying in the waiting room and they didn't even check him into the system. Should have been a huge red flag then. We finally get into the back and thankfully my son did start to perk up a little. Again severe headache with vomiting, they didn't run any tests on him just basically did a little exam that he would have gotten at his doctors office. Said it could be a throat infection because his throat was red... well hello of course it's red, he's been throwing up. Anyways, waisted time, still worried, and no answers. Who doesn't want to scan and test a 7 year old? His pediatrician was furious they didn't do anything. Luckily we have an appointment with a neurologist coming up.

Spent 2+ hours in ER waiting room while the Tomball Hospital billboard on 2920 flashed average 14 minute wait and I'm guessing at the time the ads in the movie theater were running purporting that a customer/patient would be seen within 30 minutes. Once in the ER treatment/examining room waited 30+ minutes. Sadly, the staff in the ER waiting room presented themselves as non-caring and not interested in engaging themselves with the patient's issues.

I can only speak for the L&D, nursery, and postpartum departments. I have delivered three babies over a span of six years at this location. I've received great care all three times and it was great to recognize some of the same nurses from delivery to delivery. The first two deliveries were under Tomball Regional and this most recent one was under HCA Tomball. There were some small changes that we noticed from when it was Tomball Regional to HCA Tomball and we felt they were changes for the best. Thank you to all the amazing nurses, anesthesiologist, and staff members who cared for us over the years.

Went to Er today 12/28/18 and as usual service was great. Dr. Jordan is one of the best Drs this hospital has. Dr. Berry also. I have a few medical issues and everytime I come I always get treated great. Chelsea Allison Jacques James and Yolonda are some of the sweetest nurses. Night nurses and Drs are the best. Always very attentive and actually care if your feeling better. Keep up the great job guys...

They don't care about their patients. I have overheard doctors nurses and registration staff in a few departments speaking openly about patients. They think people who are sick are weak and beneath them. There's no compassion or heart when they roll their eyes at every complaint. They'll make people wait longer in the ER on purpose if they're a frequent flyer or have something they don't want to deal with. Not caring that it might be 5am and their PCP isn't open. Witnessed a PA doing more work than the doctor on duty. No one's there cause they want to be, Tomball pays good and that's it.
If you can stand it, drive to a urgent Care or the next hospital down. Avoid at all costs. This place takes your money, lies to you and does not care about your actual health.
(My review is based off of a few occasions in which I was unable to go anywhere else and had to come to the ER and have tests in outpatient area's. I as a patient witnessed drama and overheard the way the staff talks about its patients because I was sat in a hallway bed outside of the registration office adjacent to the doctors station.)

Emergency room personnel were great. Efficient, caring and knowledgeable. Cath lab people were the same, especially the cardiologist on call. Most likely saved my life. CCU nurses and technicians were great also. Quality of care when moved to a regular room was also good. My suggestions for improvement are as follows: updates badly needed with new tv s, remove carpeting from hallways , some updating in bathrooms and food quality was hit and miss. Some good food, some awful food.

I went in to the labs for some non-emergency tests my Dr. had prescribed. I was greeted at the door, answered a few brief questions and seated. In less than five minutes someone took me, asked insurance questions, and passed me on to the labs person who did a quick painless blood draw, took some other samples and it was done. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Very good for non emergency work.

Emily McGehee, PA was fantastic with my son. I missed the opportunity to send back the survey in a timely manner, but I wanted to say that she did a really wonderful job. She was kind, courteous, compassionate and highly professional. I felt very comfortable with her. She was also HIGHLY respectful of my input and feelings around unnecessary procedures and testing. I hope this review makes it to her! She was a fantastic representative of what I am sure Tomball Regional would like to be recognized for.

I got left in a closed part of the emergency room. I was alone and in severe pain. The ultra sound lady took me to my old room (I didn't know that while I was in ultra sound they moved my room) and left me there for three hours unattended. Finally a nurse came in and started yelling at me saying I was in the wrong room. I explained that I had been in that room all night and the ultra sound lady brought me back where she got me. And she didn't even tell my husband I was found. He even told her what room we were in and she didn't bother looking until hours later. I will NEVER go back.

Awesome Customer Service!! Took me right away after complaining that I COULD NOT BREATHE. The Doctor and Nurses Bed side manner was Excellent!!! Would Definitely go Back if I ever have a Major Medical Emergency.

The maternity care I received at HCA was nothing short of VIP care. The lower patient population allows staff to focus more 1:1. My newborn baby even had to be in the NICU. He was the only baby there! Can t find that any where else. There is a lot left to be desired in regards to food service, room furnishings, and patient family centered care as I was there for 6 days. However having a nurse and a tech giving unparalleled care 24/7 on various shifts - I ll take it. During emergent moments, I had up to 3 RNs dedicating care to me and my baby. Thank you so much for taking care of us.

Honestly this hospital is a piece of s#!%.. My best friend just had her baby here and labor and delivery night staff is terrible and rude they don't do carseat check at all, my friends baby started bleeding from her abilington cord .. so my friend asked them why she was bleeding and they try to sit there and say oh well she probably hit it on something like the f@#$ how can she hit it on something and my friend got her from the nicu ...smh.. I would advise people not to come here ....worst place ever

Terrible service!! I waited while the receptionist was chatting with another employee then walked away from the desk. I then saw a sign that said to take a number so I did and took a seat. When the receptionist came back a man had come in and walked up to the desk. She took him right away. Afterwards she said "who's next?" I went up to the desk and told her what I was there for. She got papers together and told me to have a seat in the waiting area. I waited about 30 minutes before I got registered. The receptionist neglected to tell me I was supposed to go through the papers, read them, and initial or sign them. It was then another 40 minutes before I was taken back to get my ultrasound. My ultrasound was scheduled for 10:30 but was not done until 11:10. The receptionist was very cold and indifferent and did not make eye contact or call me by my name. The registration clerk was ok, but not very thorough. I had to request papers that should have been in the packet. The ultrasound technician was the only saving grace. She was polite and friendly and explained everything she was going to do. Had it not been for her I would have rated 1 star instead of 2. I hope I do not have to use this hospital again. Many years ago, when I used them, they were so much better. What a disappointment!! I definitely do not recommend this hospital!!

One of the receptionists from the outpatient lab is EXTREMELY snippy and rude. Orders my doctor sent in were missing, so she told me in a rude tone that they were not sent. While I was waiting I heard her complaining about how my physicians were sending in my orders. I understand if this situation was frustrating, but I can t control how my orders are written and sent. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable due to the rudeness I experienced.

On the other hand, the radiologist in the MRI building was super kind and made me feel comfortable for my long scan.

Awesome experience for my friend Su Verhoeven who was treated like a VIP after surgery on a MRSA infected cyst was in grave need of removal. Surgery was set up by Dr John Gilmore and performed by general surgeon Dr. Patel. **They accommodated Su who flew to the US got this surgery that she couldn't get in the UK! They saved her life!

Nice, professional staff who explained in layman's terms the pre-op preparations and what to expect after surgery. Comfortable environment. Hope to never have need of surgery again but if that's the case I'll request to have it here.

I will never got back to this hospital. I was in the hospital for 9 days and within those nine days I had nurses be completely rude, nurses break and infect my g-tube, and nurses lie to me about contacting the doctor when they really had not. Out of those 9 days i had one good nurse and one good tech, otherwise, they did not take their jobs seriously or at least work respectfully with the patient. I will never go back to this hospital again- i would rather just die- the nursing staff was that bad.

I was sent to the imaging center by an affiliated provider for a CT scan which was listed as stat because they thought I might have had a blockage. I waited for while to be seen but when the technician finally appeared he said loudly to the desk nurse that he didn t care if it s stat because it s not as important as missing (his) ride home . He then walks in my direction to give me the imaging stuff to drink but instead of handing them to me he sets them on the floor, A HOSPITAL FLOOR DURING COVID. Obviously not a great display and plenty reason for me to not go back.

Overall a poor and regrettable visit for my wife. ...

Overall a poor and regrettable visit for my wife. That said, the nursing staff of the cardiac care unit is outstanding and caring. Beyond that, this place is a disaster. My wife had been diagnosed with a secundum atrial septal defect (ASD). After an uneventful visit for a transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) to assess and measure my wife's heart defect, everything went downhill from there. The first time the repair procedure was scheduled, the procedure was cancelled as they were wheeling my wife into the cath lab - the doctor did not arrange for the proper size implantation device to be on hand. Insurance was billed for this failed attempt. On the second attempt the next week, my wife was being wheeled into the lab without the doctor even stopping in to visit her. We overheard him in the hallway telling the nurses that my wife would be staying overnight after he had repeatedly assured us that this was an outpatient procedure. The nurses informed us after the procedure that this procedure had never been performed before at HCA Tomball. The doctor did not stop to talk to my wife after the procedure, despite this being the first time this procedure was ever done at HCA Tomball. The intermediate care nurses were inattentive - fortunately the techs working for them were more caring and detail oriented. The next morning during rounds, the nurse's report on my wife to the oncoming nurse was "same old, same old" - not very medically accurate or professional, considering my wife was monitored with telemetry the entire time. Her cardiologist, actually ANY doctor (another cardiologist, a hospitalist) could not be bothered to come to see my wife to assess her recovery and give her detailed aftercare instructions specific to the procedure. As my wife and I are both medical professionals, we found aftercare recommendations for the procedure online from professional journals, and these recommendations were much more specific and aggressive than those my wife was given at HCA Tomball. We are seeking a second opinion from an interventional cardiologist not affiliated with HCA and hope and pray that the inattentive care provided for my wife does not result in life long effects on her health. Furthermore, I am changing my primary care physician because of his recommendation of this cardiologist and HCA Tomball.

As an update to my review 2 months ago, I want to thank HCA Tomball for reaching out to us personally and getting details on our experience. They conducted a further review and showed sincere interest in improving their service. Now that time has passed, I would place most of the responsibility for the poor care my wife received on her lead cardiologist, who was new to HCA Tomball. I hope his performance hasn't left a poor impression on all the dedicated staff that have worked years for this facility.

Our recent experience there was nothing short of exceptional. Everyone involved from the nurses down to the custodians were attentive, skilled and friendly. I would recommend this facility to my entire family as well as friends. We had a choice between Tomball and another hospital. So glad we chose this one on the Doctor's recommendation.

I went there to have multiple hernias repaired and I was given the absolute best care my both my Doctor, Dr Brian Harkins, and the staff at HCA Houston hospital. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for more kindness and attention to my needs. It is very ironic that I had to have surgery to meet the people that contributed to what I consider the best thing to happen to me this year. I cannot thank them enough.

Housekeeping berated me because I left some toilet paper and a water bottle in the bathroom. She complained to administration and security because of this!! She said a housekeeper job is hard and we don't like cleaning up after people. Can you believe this? With all the crime and problems in this world she does this. There are bodily fluids and floor waxing to do there but she complains about paper and plastic, ha! She said she will police the bathroom often to watch if I leave "clutter" again. She claims she loves her job but all she does is complain about people's mess. I was in there one time when a woman was vomiting and she fussed about that! No wonder Tomball Hospital has only a 2.6 star rating here. Ladies watch out for the bathroom police when visiting this hospital, she may just have you arrested for paper littering.

I came to the ER for nausea. I was admitted and continued to pass blood. Hemoglobin values on the day of admission were below minimums and steadily dropped as I continued to point out how much blood I was passing. On the 5th day my hemoglobin value was one-half of the minimum and I received 3 units of blood. On the sixth day I had a bleeding ulcer repaired. I believe it took too long to investigate the source of the bleeding. The nurses were excellent and I give them 5 stars and the doctors one.

I took my wife in tonight because we thought she pulled her drain tube partially out. Mary, the receptionist/RN on duty was extremely helpful with my wife and I. She gave us some advice on care and cleaning and left the emergency room very satisfied with the assistance we were given.

This place should be shut down.
They have the worst doctors I have ever seen.
All they do is kill people
Plus they mis diagnosed my friends dad and was treating him for the wrong thing and he ended up passing BC of their stupidity. And if u need to go to the er get ready to wait 4 hours. They are slow all they do is gossip and don't pay attention to the people that need help . I recommend you NOT TO GO HERE!!!

Don't trust them...
My son had toenail surgery at Tomball Regional Medical Center performed by Dr. Fiala of Louetta Foot & Ankle. Prior to the surgery I asked about costs and was told to expect the Dr bill, the Tomball Regional Medical Center bill, and the Anesthesiologist bill. In writing I verified costs with each prior to the surgery as each determined my out of pocket cost estimates with my insurance company. After these 3 companies sent claims to my insurance company, I was left with a $1,000.00 bill from Tomball Regional Medical Center compared to the $43.00 out of pocket amount they estimated and had us pay. After reviewing the upfront estimates and asking for a correction or at least to reduce their costs, I was sent to their hired billing center, aka. collections. Louetta Foot and Ankle did absolutely nothing to help resolve THEIR PREFERRED Outpatient Surgery Center's position change concerning my costs. Each of these provider's estimated patient costs were in writing, but after the surgery, they simply did not honor their written word. We all know that medical facilities check your amount to pay before they give you an estimate. So when the estimate is $43 out of pocket and you pay it, then 2 months later get a bill for $1,000.00 from them, you might want to go somewhere else.

Worst L&D experience of my life. A complete nightm...

Worst L&D experience of my life. A complete nightmare. The hospital ran a test I didn't need as I was already routinely tested at my Dr's office. Their test came back positive (a false positive due to a machine that they admitted was KNOWN to do this) and wrecked my world one hour after delivering my baby. I tried to fight for myself and when I tried to decline their plan of action because it seemed so wrong, they threatened to call CPS. Forced "life saving" medication on my perfect baby that didn't actually need it. Wouldn't let me breastfeed my baby when this was my wish. I was never offered a patient liaison or counselor. After a day of the most extreme mental and emotional distress I can't even put into words, the next morning an outside lab confirmed, oops, never mind, it's the machine. Now I'm left waiting around for the bill for all this "life saving." Feels like a huge scam. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone. I will never go back. It's a shame because I liked my doctor. Every time someone asks about my baby I have to relive the whole thing over. It's ******** what they put my family through.

The nurses made the visit such a pleasant experience. I had a longer than planned wait due to an extended surgery before mine and they were wonderful about making sure I was happy and comfortable.

I will never use Tomball Hospital again. Do not recommend them either. I had a major surgery in April of 2013 and set up payment arrangements.. Since it wasn't going as fast they sent me to a lawyer demanded the full amount plus lawyer fees plus filing fees etc.. It almost 1000 more then I owed them. Not very happy with them. Now I have to go to court and file appeals and motions which all the while I was making payments..

This was my first experience with HCA Tomball. From pre-op check-in to discharge following my knee replacement surgery, everyone was courteous and helpful. The nurses, especially Kristine and Nicole, and therapist on the fifth floor were awesome.

Nurse Blanche on the 4th floor was my only bright moment while staying from 10-09-2017 thru 10-17-2017 in room 403. The absolute worst excuse of a hospital I've ever experienced. Terrible patient service. Nurses Allison and Daniela were totally inept and reckless. This hospital should be investigated. I was left unattended and I was lied to about when meds were administered. I was afraid and no confident in the care that I was offered

I have had to bring my daughter here to the ER multiple times with in the last 20 months for different reasons and every time it has been 6 to 8 hours of waiting even with no one else in the waiting room. This place is great if you need a hotel room but I thought it was a hospital.

The healthcare I received was good and I have no issues there. My main problem is with the way this hospital deals with Financial Aid. First of all, there is financial aid or financial services office, which is a HUGE problem. Second, when you receive financial aid, there is not a single piece of documentation that shows the discounts, which is also a HUGE problem when the other doctors and labs that bill you will match your discount if you can show documentation, which you can't because the Hospital says no such documentation exists. IT IS A FREAKING NIGHTMARE!!!!!

Went to have a simple surgery done got charged for two operating rooms. They won't listen when I tell them that they fraudulent billed both me and my insurance provider. This comes after they demanded we pay the full price prior to the procedure being done. Even before they sent the bill to my insurance company. Then when you call patient advocacy they fail to follow up with you even though they claim they will. Takes a week and even then they still have to take longer to review everything.

Yes, they gave me fluids and motion sickness meds and did a catscan BUT they told me I was dehydrated, had an inner ear infection, sinus infection and vertigo and said they couldn't see the fluid in my ear, gave me zero antibiotics, told me to go home, drink lots of water, take allergy pills w/o sudafed and "prescribed" motion sickness medication for an OTC medication. 2 days later, still will an inner ear infection, sinus infection and vertigo I was back at urgent care where they prescribed me antibiotics and steroids which cured the infection within a few days. HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball cost me $3,000 (and may be more once the bills come in) and saw me for a few hours and sent me on my way. I went there because I was extremely ill and left in only marginally better condition. I feel they did me a dis-service and wish I could get some of my money back. I would not recommend anyone go there for services.

This hospital has very serious problems. Come in ...

This hospital has very serious problems. Come in to ER lobby 5:30pm midweek. About 12 people there, one of whom has been waiting a couple hours, son having a severe allergic reaction but not being treated. I check in, vitals are read by the receptionist, but then I'm sat back in lobby to wait for Dr.

Over the next 2 hours, I see two separate women forced to go to the lobby bathroom to get urine samples which they then have to parade in front of the entire lobby (which now has 44 people) to the receptionist, who is also running vital monitors out to the lobby (which by this point looks like an airport terminal at Christmas) to check people. People that were there when I first arrived were still waiting untreated and unseen.

At one point early on, someone that I can only assume is a supervisor or administrator came out to address the whole lobby (I guess someone complained?) and essentially blamed all problems and delays on their parking lot construction but assured everyone that it would be so much better when the expansion was done.

I guess the kid with the severe allergic response should come back in a few months when they are ready to treat him. They should update their billboards while they are at it.

I added 2 stars because all staff were very courteous and trying very hard to keep up despite the tension, however it is clear there is some administration issues hindering their ability to provide care.

Had surgery and overnight stay on 7/14 - 7/15. Excellent RN, Leydi Ramirez and technician Preshrell Murphy on my overnight 4th floor recovery stay. Extremely professional, attentive, and caring. 5 stars for these two caregivers!!!!!!
