After some consideration, I've decided to give this hospital a 1 star review.

My wife was feeling terrible and had some strange chest pains and was feverish, saying her blood felt hot. I've never seen her like that before, so I drove her to Tomball Regional to get her taken care of. The wait was rather quick (1am in the morning) but from there it all went downhill.

I had to continue asking questions and clarifying things for her to the staff. I had to follow up repeatedly after being left without a word or update on what was going on. I had to ask that they give her some medicine for her symptoms. This is an ER. You should know what to do to make someone feel better, but don't prescribe, recommend, or explain anything to your patient except telling them that they won't die. I'm glad, but come on...

Some "labs" billed us 3k and you charged our insurance 7.5k for a few simple tests. We spent maybe 10 minutes with staff altogether, and the tests done here cost next to nothing at our PCP. Then you tell us that my wife should describe her symptoms better if she wanted better treatment? No thanks. This is definitely a money pit, and while there are great employees here, it felt like so many mistakes were made for such a great cost.
