Worth visiting. Nothing special except is a huge indoor food court. There are several famous eateries inside including Santini ice cream, Garrafeira Nacional and the famous Manteigaria Pasteis de Nata from Porto. Christmas event is not happening. Abit off the city centre.

If you are visiting Lisbon or even a local for that matter Time Out Market Lisboa is well worth going to see. We visited 3 times during our time in Lisbon, twice for dinner and once for a light lunch. We enjoyed everything from croquettes to confit duck, roasted pork belly to ramen. The pastel da nadas were also amazing!! Very responsibly priced if you have a good look around and a great selection of beers, cocktails and sangria too.

Great food family friendly, staff pleasant, a must if you visit Lisbon. You can go there alone or with a crowd, go there at weekends about 9pm and there is a great activity there.

How to end a great day in Lisbon?

How to end a great day in Lisbon?
By running to the Time Out Market!

A large choice of food and drinks, fresh and tasteful.

You are in group and don't want the same
menu? As in a food court, pick your favorite restaurant and enjoy your meal together. All of that in a nice atmospher!

A must to do in Lisbon!

Food for every taste here. Excellent way to sample some high quality Portuguese chefs at a reasonable price. Wine bars offer excellent choice of wine and a wide range of beer bars also available. You could come here every night of the week and find something different but tasty every time. Large seating area available and perfect for large groups. Lively bars nearby to continue the night in!

Awesome place to eat and meet the Portuguese culture. It feels a little bit like Seattle's Pike Place Market. The people are very friendly, amazing food. If you go there, take some time to enjoy this market slowly. There is just to much to explore. Especially food is one thing, where the local traditions are alive. This is a nice place to discover it the Portuguese way.

The place and concept itself are original and pleasing but damn it is way too expensive for Lisbon! I had a Pad Thai and a pastel de bacalhau and paid more than what I usually pay in Sydney or Paris. It is trendy and all that but also insanely unreasonable!

Part of the old city market was transformed into a modern food court. There is no "fast food". It is afordable quality portuguese food. For tourists, it may be intimidating, noisy, full of energy, where you seat next to a stranger. I loved it, food was excellent.

Lots of food options and even had a few wine shoes within that were very well priced (in my tourist opinion). Would recommend finding a seat before venturing to buy food as seating options were hard to find in groups

Great place to experience many of Lisbon's restaurants all under one roof. They also have shops showcasing local wares. There is plenty of seating and it does get crowded, but all in all a good experience.

Amazing selection of food and drink coupled with a great atmosphere makes for a great spot to relax and get away from the heat. Loved it - only removing 1 star because of the crappy muzak they play. No one needs to hear a lounge-core version of 'In the air tonight'.

Huge selection of amazing food under one roof, very busy but that s all part of it. Make sure you take your time choosing so you get your monies worth, prices and portion sizes for food and wine can vary quite a bit

Over priced food hall for tourists. Messy, some chairs were wonky, poorly sign posted toilets which were disgusting. Food awful and expensive. We had a selection of croquettes that were cold soggy and too salty. Group next to us had fish that smelled really bad. It's not that big and the choice is not huge, considering it being in a capital city! The similar kind of market can be found in other cities / countries and much bigger. If you must visit a food market of this type in Lisbon, try the one at Campo de Ourique instead.

Tourist TRAP to the max. The only good place here is Pasteis Manteigara. We tried two different places here. Got fish and chips from one and fried octopus from the other. The fried cod fingers were good but the chips were COLD cold, like out of a fridge and reheated (but not entirely) in the microwave kind of cold. The octopus was encompassed in batter so thick it might as well have been a donut. Hard pass, didn t go back.

I felt this place was given a lot of hype and I found it to be okay. When heard it was a market I didn t expect it to be so new. They have a large selection of foods but feels kind of like something that was created just for tourists. Not as authentic as I had pictured it.

This place has got it just right. Lots of choices for eating and drinking. Great seafood risotto at Marlene Vieira, one of the best I've tasted actually. It was hard to choose between all the delicious food in offer.
All sorts of people here too. A very good vibe. We'll probably be back more than once.

Really great place to visit. Massive selection of cool and unique food. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon for the first time. My suggestion is to try a bit of everything, quite possibly the best burger of my life was consumed here.

It s a great place to have a drink or sit down for lunch or dinner! The variety of vendors is plentiful, ranging from noodle soups to pizza or even beer! The only drawback, a slight one is that it s a bit on the pricey side. But, what do you expect when the majority of customers are tourists.

Its really two large indoor areas side by side. A traditional market selling sea food, meat, veg... But unless you're a local you'll be going to the upmarket food court part. There is a large communal table area surrounded by around 40 different local food vendors (no big chain names here). The meals are high quality at pretty good prices. The biggest downside of the place is the queues and I guess finding a table.

I have seen this market concept before in other countries and I am glad I can find it in Lisbon as well, as I really like it. Huge variety of dishes, from all sorts of seafood, meat, pasta, pizza, desserts and drinks. It was our first time here so we said let s try a bit of everything but that would be impossible due to the huge variety. However we tried some starters from Manteigaria Silva, specialized in cheeses and charcuterie, really delicious meat, went very well with some wine, it definitely opened our appetite.
Our main course, was based on seafood. We chose Monte Mar, specialized in fish and shellfish, we tried the fried shrimps with garlic, squid with garlic rice and some oysters. I have to say the squid was a bit too oily for my taste and the oyster was rather small but could really taste the freshness.
The food was overall good, a bit pricey.
We had some lovely white wine from Alexandre Silva. Their food looked great, but by the time we took the wine we have already ordered. Maybe next time.
Overall great concept but somehow it looked a bit chaotic. Plenty of room to sit but because people were not taking their empty plates, in order to sit you first had to free / clear the table.
The toilets could have been cleaner as it seems like a place very much visited by people.

A very wide variety of food available here. Due to huge number of people visiting this popular tourist place the seats get taken up very fast. Have to wait for people to finish and vacate their seats before you grab it.

This place is simply amazing!!!! It has so many eat outs, I lost track. The variety of food on display and for eating is mouth watering. The people of Lisboa are fun loving, chilled and enjoy life to the fullest. They love their beers, pork, desserts, and dancing in that order. After sundown hundreds of people gather here to drink and dance. I saw amazing dancing and the place was full of fun. It is not a market as the name suggests. There is a huge clock at the entrance to remind you of Time Out. A must visit in Lisbon.

This place is awesome. All of Portugal's specialities under one roof. We went to the Samsung Chef Academy for a cooking lesson in full view of the market and it was awesome. The Chef Rodrigo was great and you get plenty of wine
