We tried the Time Out Market on a Saturday and Sunday but found on both days that the place was so busy that there were long waits for seating and long queues for most outlets and the toilets.

The range of food on offer is extensive and we would have loved to have tried some but didn t have the luxury of time whilst in a short break.

Cool venue but I d recommend going out of peak times. Possibly a victim of its own success?

Great variety of different food. You will find Italian Pizza here as well as typical portuguese vine. I can recommend the Burger Restaurant! Very tasteful and freshly made in front of your eyes. The place seems a bit dirty, even though the staff is really anxious about helping you out and keep everything clean. This might be the case due to the corona crisis. Overall a nice place to spend time and explore food and drinks.

I don t love touristy places and this is touristy. However you get to choose from all the best chefs in the city. It really is a great way to try different foods. You may pay more than you would if you went looking for a restaurant but you are paying for convenience as well. It is worth checking out.

I liked it very much. Sometimes prices are from outer space (ie. Pizza for 19eur) but the rest is worth its price. Lots of places to buy something to eat and drink too. Friendly, causy, bit crowded but worth seeing.

Lots to choose from. Tasty fresh food, great if you're feeling greedy! Couldn't make my mind up so ended up eating 5 meals! Only downside is its not that easy to find a seat so when you do make sure you keep it!

An amazing array of choices, both local and international. I had Tuna steak from Alexandre Silva an amazing taste sensation, prepared in an easy I have never come across before.

With all this choice and excellent food there is a downside which is queues and trying to find a seat. This placev seems to attract Portuguese and tourists alike so there's never going to be a quiet time. If you are patient then the food is worth waiting for.

Bought by Time Out, the magazine, this market become a center that offers many restaurants and large common area to seat and dine under one roof.
The concept is not new, and exist in many other cities.
Large offering, slightly on the expensive side.
If you are looking for something typical, this, is not the place to visit.
If you are looking instead for good food, often associated with growing chef from the local scene, or international restaurant, it s the place to choose.

The place it s mostly crowded all the time, and can be tricky to find a sport to accommodate more than two person also why, after eating, the trays are left on the table and it took more than a while to clean them due to a cleaning team that, it s clearly understaffed.

I had heard a lot about this place so went there with high expectations only to find the place was jam-packed. If you're traveling as a group or with family, it is difficult to find a table to sit. There was a wide variety of food choices & judging by the crowd, I presume it must be good but we didn't stay there to eat as it felt too claustrophobic for me.

A little expensive and crowded as compared to less commercial options, but a good place to go to try many new foods in one sitting. The beef tartar from tartar-ia and the suckling pig sandwich from Henrique So Pessoa are particularly recommended.

Very nice and curated indoor food market in the Cais do Sodre area, near the water. Extensive selection of finest foods, although sometimes a bit too "snobby" when it comes to Service or price. But I guess there is no other place to get a glimpse of Lisbon cusine that fast and good.

Excellent spot to explore some of the greatest chefs in Portugal. I liked that the food was served on real dishes (not plastic or paper plates). Portion sizes were surprisingly big and affordable. Everything we ate was excellent. We got there before the lunch crowd (about 11:30) and lots of people showed up shortly after, so go at an off time if you want to avoid crowds.

This is a fascinating and delicious place to have a casual dinner. We decided to have a few things from different places. We had some pata negra from Manteigaria Sil.ca that was oh so rich and delicious. We had avocado-shrimp salad and More

Great market with dozen of food and drink options. Gets really crowded during peak hours. Has some of the freshest oysters I've ever had, a great selection of other seafood and typical portuguese dishes.

Food was just OK and overpriced. Definitely wouldn't come back. I would skip it if time is limited. Tried Alexandre Silva and would not recommend. Food was unimaginative and very salty. Manteigaria tarts were pretty good but you can find these literally everywhere. Place gets pretty crowded and there's garbage everywhere. Also, wine is about 3x more than anywhere else.

Amazing atmosphere, great choice for food and drinks. You can find there any type of see food with a good variety of asian and mediterranean cuisine. They also have a bar with fresh juices. We would definitely go back next time we visit Lisabon. It resembles a bit to the Boqueria from Barcelona, except it's much cleaner and less crowded.

Good vibe, great range of food and beverages

My first time to visit this Portuguese Food Hall and on a Thursday night, it certainly had a good vibe. Our group was impressed by the range of food & beverages available, and whilst not everyone was completely happy with their order (me), we certainly enjoyed the atmosphere and the busy nature of the place.

I look forward to heading back there and trying out the many restaurants that our group did not try.

Hint: Finding seats/table first is advisable, then grab a drink and wander about (not your entire group otherwise you will lose your sport) to find the food that suits your appetite.

Friday afternoon lunch. Not too busy but still a good bustling atmosphere. Lots of variety of foods to discovery. The quality and the freshness of the produce was exceptional and only 30 for two meals and drinks. I would highly recommend a visit.

The concept is very good. The market is in the same building and Time Out is the food court.

Offers a lot of different fast food gourmet places, with shared big tables in the middle.
We took some fish and some croquettes and we loved the experience and the place.
Nicely placed close to the city center and one of the metro stations.

Place was trendy and the atmosphere was good. There was a Liveband playing portuguese music when we visite... d - there was a pretty good vibe! However the food was not good at all and far too overpriced. We have tried several things from different stands and I did not find any of it good. Even fries were not like they are supposed to be.. Seafood bad, prego mediocre.. Payed 100 euros for 2 persons and did not finish any of the dishes since it was not tasty at all.I still regret it having chosen to try it instrad of going to Ramiro's for the third time.. Ramiro was just amazing we sould have gone there as well for our last night in Lissabon...

Great place, loud but great atmosphere, community dining. Some of the better restaurants in town are represented. Great selection of food and beverages, dessert, some merch. Not cheap but affordable. A must visit while you're in Lisbon.

The place itself is very nice, a bit expensive because is a very tourist place. I have been few times there and I will keep going and send guests there, but the guys who works at Croqueteria are not nice at all, seems they are not happy to be there, of you work with people you should learn how to deal/be with them.

Lots of choice and some really good looking places for different foods. As many other reviews have said previously, there s a real shortage of seating and tables, so don t expect to sit down when you re eating.

Must go if you are in Lisboa. The food, the atmosphere, the location, it's all a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. Absolutely loved the vegetarian croquettes at La Croqueteria, the cheese plate and wine at Miguel Laffan and the pasteis de nata ! Such a special atmosphere, reminded me a little bit of Las Ramblas in Barcelona.

Beautiful setting with a genuine fruit market adjacent. Lots of food choices from the different vendors but queue' s for food can take time due to the large amount of people. Also can be expensive.

This is a great place to eat dinner. There are dozens of little restaurants to choose from and you just sit wherever you want. It's hard to recommend anything because I only tried two different dishes. The atmosphere was great and so was the food.

This is very touristy but the food stalls are amazing. I trust the Time Out brand so was not disappointed. The market is clean and tidy, and there is definitely a trendy feel, perhaps not authentically Portuguese, but still very welcome.
