A food hall with actual tasty food. Plenty from which to choose and lots of seating. It uses the buzzer system when you order and credit cards taken by all. Food is cooked to order for most if not all dishes and the hall has a great buzz about it.

We ordered from the suckling pig place and our large sandwich was so overpriced at 12 and the meat was cold! Why is it not served hot? Everywhere is overpriced so I'd recommend to just come for a browse and then eat elsewhere unless you're keen to burn your cash.
Great variety of food communal tables and a foodies heaven. From pastries, charcuterie boards, octopus hot dogs to pizza to tartare you can find everything here. Do eat the pastel de nata from manteigaria they are the best in all of Portugal in my opinion.
Great selection of food, mostly meat, seafood and desserts! Amazing cocktails, very good quality and reasonable prices. Also the odd gift shop and quirky shop!
Great market hall with many small restaurants - lots of sea food, burgers, pizza, traditional portugese food... prices are also good - be ready for self service. Definitelly worth a visit.
Great atmosphere. In the busy evening trade the quality of the food was a bit hit and miss. Some excellent, but some just wasn't cooked through sadly. I would still recommend popping in for a drink if you are passing by to soak up the vibe.
The concept is great, could be improved by architecture for noise pollution (can be chaotic) It's a good option where you don't know what you wanna eat but it's also a bit overpriced for the quality.
Feels like a hybrid between a mall food court and a market, great place to sample lots of different dishes with a few drinks. Watch out for the pigeons flying around!
Hipster dining at somewhat inflated prices, but tasty food with big local selections. Bring cash - unfortunately not all of the stalls accept credit cards, which is quite annoying, but there are ATMs in the vicinity. Worth a visit, but there are far better places with better value for money in Lisbon.
Absolutely fantastic place. I was there recommended by the owner of my B&B and it was so true about the place. Basically it's a food hall of any big market you would normally see in the UK where you see the mix of all styles of cooking from different stands. Only that most of these stands are held by the best restaurants in Portugal. Not the major kitchen team of course, but teams you could see that they are really organised, methodical, confident of handling every dish they are making. Also, as they usually come in small portions, or tapas style if you prefer, they are more inexpensive even for the Portuguese's stands(which is lower than the UK to be honest). Therefore you can have more choices and certainly experience more. All in all a very good lunch experience for me. God bless Portugal!
On a normal Wednesday we struggled to find a place to sit all six of us. One memberof our group had already left, because the chairs were too uncomfortable for his bad back. After 10 minutes of walking around we finally were able to sit down somewhere. Most of the food is of decent quality and the experience is funny, because everyone can try something different. So the place is hugely popular, and the turnover must be impressive. But this does not translate into good toilet facilities. They remind me more of a one star camping site with cleaning ladies on strike. Management must be trying to maximize profits by saving on things like soap, toilet paper, cleaning staff etc. It is downright disgusting and spoils an otherwise nice experience.
Lots of cafes and restaurants, the prices are not very democratic but still affordable. Everyone can find something for themselves. What I liked the most were the eclairs - delicious!
Everyone was telling me about this food market before my trip so I had to try it out - and I was not disappointed! Clean, modern, spacious, great selection of foods. Particularly liked the tuna tartare. Perfect for a rainy winter day (it does rain a lot here this time of the year).
What a place, so many street food outlets, plus beer and wine. Plenty of places to sit. Great service and the food's with you really quickly. Definitely eat there again
Equivalent of the Ferry Building in San Francisco with more quick food options. Gets pretty packed and busy, but be patient and walk around to find something delicious.
The nicer sit down restaurants are on the outside and you'll pay a bit more for that.
Go to the side with all of the chef's names for the better food in the building.
Great idea to have all of the best food in one place. Each person can pick their own cuisine and still eat together. A problem for being too good is that it's hard to find a seat.
Awesome collection of bundles of good to greater restaurants in a 1 spot, cool layout with central seating - order and find a place. Vibrant & fun plus great selection. And location.
Converted from a traditional market so something of a hipster food mecca, there is a great selection of food stalls from different local chefs putting out decent sized plates of tasty food. I had the bacallao (salted cod) which was probably the best I've been served it in several trips to Lisbon. My girlfriend had an octopus rice stew which was tender and delicious. There are stalls specialising in cheese, deserts, wine, gin, pasties as well so there really is something for all tastes and the shared central tables mean you can all pick something different
Super nice good and respectively always busy around noon. Food and drinks are for 2 people around 30 , not cheap for lissabon but definitely worth a trip when you are in lissabon.
Very nice to have a good dinner. My girlfriend and i both ate at the Asian Lab. We both loved the phaengang curry (or something like that). We payed 25 euros for two meals(1 with chicken and one vegi), one portion of springrolls and two beers. Only thing that sucks is that it is very busy and everybody is very greedy for sitting spots. One third is occupuid for someone else....
I find the place cool but super over-priced. Imagine eating in an open place where it's self-service and there's plenty of plates everywhere in the tables. You need to find a place and get the food you ordered. All in all it's not worth the money you spent with the experience you get.
The time out market is basically a huge food court with different cuisines and the food is not your normal food. Basically you get special variations of the normal food. I can recommend the octopus and potato meal and i highly recommended to grab some croquettes. They are really reaaly good and affordable. If you are two people let one sit and reserve the seats and the other one go and get the food.
A good concept but really busy, so finding a space to sit was tricky, also had to clear away other people's mess first! A good choice of different foods, I had steak and prawn sandwich which was delicious. I would recommend the Taylors Port Experience.
The food is just perfect! But you'll just have to try it yourself because there are so many options.
Just keep in mind that around dinner time there are so many people that you'll be walking around with you plate full of lovely warm dishes because there are just no tables to sit at :(
This place had so many options I had to keep coming back. Visited 3X in 5 days, some of the options are better than others. I visited about 5 places with Tartar-ia being my favorite. I also purchased some local Ginja from the wine store which made me return for a second bottle. It s looks like there s also a produce market and cooking demonstration kitchen which I didn t get to visit. I look forward to visiting again when I m back in Lisbon. Forgot to mentions there s also a night club upstairs called Rive Rouge which was ask a pleasant experience.
This was a really original and refreshing experience! There are not many vegetarian/vegan options, so we only had a few dishes to try out, but totally worth it regardless
Always crowded, nothing comfortable and very expensive. Looks like several fast food restaurants in one building but prices are like in good restaurants.
We made a quick trip there for lunch. They have a good variety of stalls and it wasn't too busy when we visited just before lunch hour on a weekday. There are also bars to grab a drink and some shops to browse. I liked the look of the place - clean and organised with plenty of seating.
